Wagyu Katsu Sandwiches Are Taking Over Instagram | Eater

"A members-only Tokyo eatery originally based in Akasaka that offers a wide range of wagyu cutlet sandwiches across multiple locations; its cutlet-focused outpost in Nakameguro serves sandwiches made from various wagyu cuts (priced roughly from inexpensive ground-beef options to top chateaubriand around $180), using extra-soft white bread and a house sauce that blends Kamebishi soy and Fuji vinegar with a secret mix of spices, plus off-menu soy-wasabi and fermented red-pepper sauces. The operation has explored international expansion, including plans for a butcher shop and U.S. outposts." - Kat Odell

An amazing experience all around. This was our last night in Tokyo and I was worried that this restaurant was all hype and show but boy was I wrong. Not only is the quality and portions amazing but the theatrics were on point. My wife and I don't speak Japanese but the chefs and staff made us feel welcome by always engaging with us with the little English they spoke as best as they could. We will definitely be coming back!

We had sushi there. Taru-sushi collaborates with Wagyumafia! Taisho and Hamada-san are really funny and friendly. Seemed like they made a good team. Of course sushi was amazing and was a great entertainment.

Great experience and exquisite food! This member only restaurant servers a set menu of 18 dishes comprising of different cuts of Wagyu beef ranging from dry aged Wagyu and other cuts of beef. The presentation and experience is fantastic with the chefs explaining every cut and enhancing the experience of dining with presenting the plate and food in a unique Japanese fashion. Definitely worth visiting, for further detail on how to be a member and enjoy the different restaurants of Wagumafia, would suggest visiting their website.
