No authenticity, no flavor, combination lo -mein served sitting in a pool of grease, ginger chicken wontons came without the sauce which is the most important Part of this particular appetizer, and I wasn’t advised that they were out of the sauce until after the fact I was given two packets of soy sauce because they didn’t have any of that either (window girl told me they had a few packets left) one of the 2 soy sauce packets in my bag had already been used!, the hot and sour soup taste like hospital grade disinfectant or something definitely not worth the $30. I spent so here I am eating in disgust. Server at the window was friendly that’s about the only good thing I can say for this Wok-inn location, Which may have been good at one point in time, but since then has declined. Read this review save yourself some money wish I did.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ If I could give more than five stars, I absolutely would! We ordered the Pad Thai from Wok-Inn, and it was nothing short of phenomenal. The flavor was bold, rich, and perfectly balanced—every bite had that kick of spice that makes you instantly fall in love with Thai cuisine. The noodles were cooked to perfection, not too soft, not too firm, just right, and every ingredient tasted fresh and authentic. The spice level was spot on. It had just the right amount of heat that made the dish exciting, but not overwhelming. Every forkful packed so much flavor that it kept us wanting more. The combination of sweetness, tanginess, and that little punch of chili made it absolutely tremendous. You could tell this wasn’t your average Pad Thai—it was made with precision and care. On top of the food being spectacular, the drive-thru service was lightning fast. We barely had to wait, and the staff were polite, efficient, and made the experience effortless. In today’s world, finding a place that delivers both outstanding food and speedy service is rare, but Wok-Inn really nailed it. Overall, I’d easily call this one of the best Pad Thai experiences I’ve ever had. It’s spicy, amazing, and everything about it felt just right. From flavor to freshness to the swiftness of service, Wok-Inn has earned not just five stars—but a full ten-star review from me!

Where do I even start. Our family use to love wok inn, it in our eyes had the best range of options and was somthing we looked forward to. Until we moved closer to this location. Don't get me wrong the staff are usually pretty nice but what happenes past the ordering counter is sonthing that health inspectors should look into. For starters the dishes are always dirty, tables are sticky, the floors have a cast over them that makes it slippery, and it just feels ick. We should have requested our funds back after we noticed how dirty the place was but we had looked forward to the fried rice after a long day. ..... just to find out after we ordered that there was no soy sauce. This was not mentioned at the time of order mind you. My beef and broccoli was good, but my husband's order was quite sus therefore most of it was left on the plate. I tried looking for the food grade as we departed but it was not clearly posted anywhere for me to notice without having to ask. Please do better the other location is far and tbh is it even worth it to drive there if leadership wont even take care of this one??

We needed a quick dinner Sunday night so we thought to try Wok Inn Stone Oak location. It was our first time to dine in. Hubby might have ordered delivery before. I tried the Walnut Shrimp with steamed rice. Dad usually likes Lemon Chicken and we gave him fried rice. Hubby had the Dinner Special which was beef with mushroom. It came with an egg roll and a drink. We all got to have a bowl of soup, each trying a different one from egg drop to hot & sour to chicken & corn. They serve huge portions so we have another meal ready. We discovered that the Alamo Ranch location has dimsum so we’ll have to check it out.

The staff was super nice and the food was great. Gabriel was the one who took our order, and he was super cool. He told us about a special that was going on for one of the items we ordered. It was very nice of him because it was our first time in the restaurant. Also, if you can’t “Wok Inn,” they have a drive-thru. ^_^ Total was about $35; we did order a lot.

This is a walk-up to order types of restaurant. We tried 3 dishes: chicken lettuce wraps, beef and broccoli, and chicken lo mein. The only item I liked was the beef and broccoli, the sauce was flavorful (little salty), the beef and broccoli portions were good. Not impressed with the fried rice either. My kids did like the chicken lo mein but it lacked flavor and there were hardly any veggies or chicken, basicallly it was a pasta bowl. Overall, it’s chinese fast food… like panda express in some ways and not in others. We will continue our search for chinese restaurant we can frequent in this area.

Wok Inn is fantastic. I am very happy they have finally expanded to this side of town. Always been a great place for quick eats and during the grand times before covid the soup bar was great! Consistent quality since they opened at the original Grissom Rd. Location. Family owned and run. High level of expectations for their food and employees. I can tell you anything you try on the menu will be great. If you find out you disagree with me they are always open to make it better. Come in and visit them here at the new location you will be happy you did. They are experiencing the same issue with hiring as everyone else so please as you would do anywhere else be kind!
