I was in the area, so I decided to try this drive thru Chinese place. There aren't too many around, and there wasn't a line which was a bonus. The nice girl came over the speaker and told me any time I'm ready to order, she's ready. It took me a little while to comb through the menu. Not that there are a lot of choices, but since it was my first time, I wanted to see what they had. And since no one was behind me, I took my time.
They have all the favorites. Nothing really new or exciting. They do have daily lunch specials which come with rice, soup, an egg roll (or crab puff if you're so inclined), and a small drink all for under $10. Only Pepsi products there. I ordered the General Tso Chicken which was not on the daily special list, and the sweet and sour pork which was a daily special.
Very sweet girl gave me my drink, and even noticed I had an old drink in my cup holder and offered to throw it away for me. Super great service! She took my payment, and I didn't wait too long for my food. By the time I left, there was a little bit of a line.
Came home and took out our food. A little cooler in temperature than I normally like, but one minute in the microwave, and it was fine.
The fried rice was just okay. I had to add some hot sauce to it. I tried both dishes, and I liked the sweet and sour pork more. The General Tso Chicken wasn't very flavorful. The soups (oh yeah! I forgot, the General Tso also came with fried rice and a choice of soup) came in cute little almost drink like cups. Again, not hot, but okay. I liked the egg drop soup more than the hot and sour soup.
Lastly, it came with utensils, soy sauce, and fortune cookies. The utensils were low quality, but honestly for every negative thing, the service really made up for it. Good service goes a long way!
Would I go back again? Probably not, but I'm not counting them out.
