One of the worst Chinese food I’ve ever had in my life and I’ve had quite a bit of Chinese food like everyone else. When I walked in right at noon and there was nobody in the restaurant and I should have just walked out then but I was in a hurry so I ordered food. I had a bourbon chicken and for a drink I just asked for water. Then I was told I couldn’t use my credit card since the order was less than $15.00. Once again, I should have walked away then. So I ordered soft drink which all of sudden made my bill $20.00 ($19.95 to be exact)! I questioned about the price of drink and the lady behind the counter who was not accommodating to start out with just mumbled something (probably cursing me out) which I couldn’t understand, so I just left it to be. Then I got the food… You see it. I get far more food at our local Chinese restaurant that my family goes on regular basis for less than $15.00. And the chicken was so tough that I maybe took 2 bites and brought the rest home to give it to our dogs. I just happened to drive by this restaurant so I stopped but I don’t think I’ll ever go back to this place. I’d say stay away from this place!

Google
They are litterally the only Chinese place in Murfreesboro that makes sweet and sour sauce correctly. Trust me, I know my sweet and sour sauce. It has that slightly thick tea like consistency and isn't overly sweet, unlike that red sugar gel most places are peddling around town. It's such a simple thing, but it speaks volumes about the quality of their food.

Jennifer Prien

Google
Wouldn't necessarily get the not fried dumplings. All condiments are disposable no soy sauce or salt on table only little packets. Food is served on a paper plate, but surprisingly the food is pretty good fresh cooked vegetables definitely not going to eat in again but would be happy to take it home to use my own seasonings.

Google
The service is always great. It's a very busy place and sometimes you have to wait but hat's to be expected. The food is always hot and fresh with crispy vegetables cooked in a wok. We typically order Crab Rangoon (good), boneless spare ribs (sticky and sweet and tender) and some type of main dish. We haven't been disappointed yet and have been coming here over a year.

Google
I wanted to like this place more than I did. It is so clean because it appears to be relatively new but it was HOT inside. It felt like the AC was set on 75 inside the restaurant. Then the food came on paper plates which was confusing because it seemed like a nicer restaurant. The food was good and the service was as well so there's that.

Google
This is the best Chinese take out on the south side of town hands down. I have been coming to the establishment for many years. The food is always great and the lady that works the front counter is always polite. Keep it up W&R

Google
I ordered my favorite meal, orange chicken and white rice. This time the chicken bites were half the size as usual and tough to chew. The orange sauce was perfect!

Google
Some of the best shrimp fried rice in the city!! My family loves Wok n Roll!

Yelp
All the dishes are prepared freshl to order, and may be customized a bit to suit your preferences. While a bit lacking in veggies, which is a bit strange for a Chinese themed restaurant, all the portions are very generous, and they do care a lot about their customers' satisfaction. Flavors here are traditional American-Chinese style. Condiments provided are soy sauce, duck sauce, (the sweet kind), and medium-hot mustard. A little nicer than your average takeout. There are 8 booths that will seat up to six ,and tables for 4 in the center. This little hideaway in the corner of the Barfield mall next to the Kroger has weathered the extended remodeling that took place and survived because of its quality and service. Delivery is available via Uber Eats.

Yelp
Although the prices have gone up, the food quantity and quality is still delicious. Only wish they offered delivery

Yelp
Be careful when you order. You think you are ordering a combo meal with a choice of fried/white rice with egg roll for $10.50, but they charge you for the most expensive meal and up charge to get fried rice vs white rice. What should've cost us $21.00 (per the combo menu) cost me almost $50 for two people. I've been here many times and never been charged this exorbitant amount for two meals. Look at pictures, this small amount of food is not worth $50, including tip. I will never be back.

Yelp
They were open on Christmas Eve, they were slammed, and working only with a few people. We waited a few minutes to get our food but was understandable with how busy they were. Food was amazing. Crab Rangoon, sesame chicken, fried rice and my wife got the hot and sour soup. All were super good. Dont be deterred by the 3 star ratings, those people are probably decendents of Ebeneezer Scrooge. My wife asked me to reiterate how great the hot and sour soup was. The restaurant was clean, quiet and furniture was nice..

Yelp
Store just opened and sad to say it was the worst panda I ever had and that is hard to do. All the food was cold chow main was dry and shrivels up. They have no fresh hot Teriyaki sauce for the chickens they just hand you a packet of cold sauce. Tons of employees and no one ever would help us unless we called out for help. Seriously very disappointing.

Yelp
I've been here a few times this place is always spotless clean, everyone is super friendly, and their food has always been better than any of the Chinese I've had in the area. Definitely a go to for dining in or out, will return

Yelp
Very disappointed ! It was my first time and I wanted to give this place a try. I ordered the sweet and sour chicken combo meal with fried rice and an egg roll. I asked for chow mien but the lady didn't know what i was talking about . The fried rice was the worst fried rice I've ever tasted, even Panda Express is better. the rice had no flavor and was dry and kind of tasted like it was a frozen prepared rice . The chicken also seemed like is was from a freezer bag and they didn't even toss it in the sweet and sour sauce they put in on the side . The portion size is small for what you are paying for over all this place is a rip off and I literally gave the rice to my dog .

Yelp
I really enjoyed take out from this restaurant. We spent about $100 to feed 5 people which I thought was fair. Plenty of food to include apps. I especially enjoyed the General Tso's Chicken. My wife said the Lo Mein was just ok which is why I'm giving 4 stars. Just trying to be fair. We have eaten at other Chinese restaurants in the area in the past and this one was superb compared to those. I think you'll enjoy it.

Yelp
I decided to try this place again due to people telling me they had improved allot... Good food NOW but SLOW, SLOW, & SLOW... If your really hungry, I would recommend you not go here! You will starve prior to getting your food - LOL! Good people but SLOW as Christmas 1 - star for being so SLOW!!!!!!! Take care, HH

Dave K.

Yelp
I stopped in and ordered a to go order when I arrived. I was told 20 minutes and it was ready in 15. I ordered a Szechuan chicken combo with fried rice and hot & sour soup. I asked to have the entree prepared extra extra spicy. The soup was tasty, but the portion was about half the size of a small order that I have received at most other places. The chicken was excellent and it was actually somewhat spicy which typically doesn't happen. The fried rice was a bit bland, but when I stirred it together with the rest of the meal it was very good. The portion size was a bit smaller than a combo at most other places, but it was plenty of food for a satisfying meal. All in all, I would recommend it if you are craving Chinese food.

Yelp
My sister in law ordered Chinese food here for the first time and they were not too found of the food. I felt the same way. The food was not flavorful. We had beef and broccoli that had no flavor. The sauce was so thick like they used too much flour. Bourbon chicken was way too dry and over cooked. So was the boneless spare ribs. But at least the spare ribs were flavorful. Very oily though. They most likely deep fried it. The general tos chicken was soooo sweet. Not like other general tos chicken. I think it gave me instant diabetes. Lmfao. There was also chicken lo mein that no one touched. I think we'll still look around for the best Chinese. BTW: They use too much MSG so for those who are sensitive I would avoid. Best food was probably the steam rice. It wasn't dry or overcook. Most Chinese restaurants steam rice is dried out.

Tay T.

Yelp
Not a bad review on the food , but I placed an order today and went to pick my food up like I normally do. When I got there, another lady (white) was also standing there waiting for her food. The only issue I had was that when both of our foods were ready, the lady at the counter, walked the lady her food out and handed it to her, with my food, we mutually walked to each other and she places my order on the counter to pick up. To me that was rude because why hand someone there food then sit someone else food on the counter? This is my 5th time here since moving to Murfreesboro, don't think I will be back.
google avatar

David D.

Yelp
I have been coming here for years, they have very friendly service and good food. The new location is much bigger than the mostly take out previous space. I enjoy the crab Rangoon, general tsos, sesame chicken and my ultimate favorite is the chicken lo mien.

Yelp
Customer service is terrible. Ordered for pickup over the phone. Arrived at the store. Stood at the registers for almost 20 minutes and I knew that the order was not ready, they've always been extremely slow at this restaurant at preparing your order. So I stand at the register, cashier comes out, doesn't even make eye contact or say hello or even ask if I needed help. She starts preparing preparing refills for the customers that are already eating at the restaurant. Phone rings and she starts taking orders over the phone, 15 minutes have passed by now and I'm right in front of her, credit card on hand tapping at the counter looking at her. 20 minutes afterwards people star coming in and lining up behind me. After three people were behind me, that's when she finally asked me for my order and took my credit card payment as well. I know that I'm the quiet type but what happened to customer service if I'm being paid to work. What happened to hello, how can I help you. Customers are your bread and butter and there are a lot Asian places that are better and faster in preparing orders. Don't assume that every customer that comes in is a psychic and can read your mind and know the status of an order. This is my last time for me...
google avatar

Roberto C.

Yelp
First time going there and won't go back ribs are over cooked and sauce less called and asked about it and the guy said that's how it comes . Every boneless spare ribs I've ever gotten has had some type of sauce on it

Gabriel S.

Yelp
Typical Americanized Chinese food. Good, clean, would recommend. The workers are nice also!

Bri M.

Yelp
Really great customer service! I was able to get a vegan and gluten free meal here (steamed mixed vegetables with tofu and white sauce). It was super delicious.

Yelp
Cute spot, looks clean. I dined in and the girl was very nice. I ordered the Thai-style cashew chicken. They have different options on the menu: some of them offer fried rice or noodles, but many have white rice as the side. My dish came with the white rice. My food came out very fast after ordering. They were busy with phone orders the whole time I ate, but she still came through to check on me. The food was delicious! I thought the flavors were well balanced. No Coke products, only Pepsi, but to me that wasn't a problem. I wasn't able to eat all my food and had enough leftover to make a second meal. All in all, definitely worth a try!
google avatar

Yelp
I'll admit it... I tried Wok N Roll because I was being lazy one day and my usual place where I get my fix for Chinese food doesn't deliver. To be honest, Wok N Roll doesn't either, but is available through a local delivery service. Regardless, the food here is top notch. I've tried several items from the menu, and everything has been fresh, flavorful and you get a lot for the money. When it comes to a lot of Chinese food, I'm indifferent when it comes to the steamed rice. Not so with this place - their sauces are so good that the rice goes right in so not a drop is wasted! As far as your staple items, eggrolls are pretty good and rangoons are on point. The teriyaki chicken skewers are worth scrapping over, but the crispy noodles are just meh. Since those are literally the only thing I've tried that isn't great, no need to ding them on that. If I'm in the mood for Chinese food and don't want to go get it, this is my second string player, hands down!
google avatar

Stephen S.

Yelp
Just a heads up. I ordered my food and it was ready in less than 10 minutes. Egg rolls were cooked fresh. Everything's good.
google avatar

Jared H.

Yelp
The food is typically pretty decent. The wait, however, is absurd. I completely understand restaurants of all types are busier Fridays and Saturdays. I placed my order online at 6:32pm on Friday night. It said the order would be ready for pickup in 30 minutes. It is currently 7:38pm, and I still have not received my order. I was told 30 minutes ago the order would be ready in 10-15 minutes. You pay for your order once you arrive to pick it up, not once it is ready, so once you've paid, you are pretty much at their will for when you actually receive your food. Had I not paid for it already, I would have gone somewhere else. Over an hour for some Chinese food is a bit absurd. Beware if you are expecting your meal at a certain time.
google avatar

Jordan S.

Yelp
The best Chinese takeout I've eevver had! You can dine in too, but we always order to go. So freaking good and the portions are fair too!
google avatar

Brian M.

Yelp
A little torn here as the food is really good. The service however continues to be very, very poor. Called ahead, was told it would be 30 minutes, after 30 minutes called and they mentioned 15 more minutes. No big deal, waited another 15 and headed over. Got there, 4 people in the cashier line in front of me, 5 minutes later I make my way to the register. How much longer I ask, they say one minute and I proceed to wait 20 more. Wouldn't care if the wait was an hour, just tell us up front an hour. At least three people called in orders while I was there, they said 30 minutes for each person that called ahead, which wasn't happening. Poor customer service and time managment. As good as the food is, it's not that good to keep trying this place out again. At least be a little apologetic, if nothing else to show you want to make improvements to your service. Bottom line, any time they prove you, at a minimum double it.

Yelp
Service/Timing - Need a lot of improvement here. I walked in at 8:10pm on a Tuesday (sidenote, really nice inside! Plenty of places to dine in). However, they were clearly overwhelmed and I stood at the counter for 10 minutes with 2 different people running past me multiple times before they even acknowledged my presence. When the guy finally came up to me he said "Please tell me you already ordered." I had not. I waited for the takeout order for a decent amount of time - I left at about 8:55pm. Yes, I'm being specific. I hate when people are like omg I waited FOREVER. It's like, contextualize please! Crab Rangoons - Good! I don't like onions so mostly cream cheese with some crab bits is good for me. Sesame Chicken - Good! My husband ate his whole dish. Beef and Broccoli - Good! I will be enjoying leftovers tonight! Chicken Fried Rice - Just ok. I don't remember any egg in it, and it definitely needed a punch of seasoning; it was very bland. Overall - 3 stars due to service. Food was your run-of-the-mill fake Chinese food. We'll definitely be back whenever we need a fix, but I'll be phoning in my order from here on out.
google avatar

Glowbabie S.

Yelp
I'm giving up on this business, I've given them many tries and this last one was a wrap. I ordered the Chicken Egg Foo Young and it was absolutely pathetic. It was missing the chicken, onions, etc., was nothing but egg and BURNT, NOTICEABLY BURNT, yet given to me anyway. When anything, regarding their food, is brought to their attention, nothing is done about it. They're not the friendliest people, challenging anything you say, especially the girl at the register. For now on, I will take my business elsewhere. The contents of this review, is based solely on my personal experiences with this business.
google avatar

Blair C.

Yelp
The food was good, fresh, and very satisfying! Only complaint has to do with the online ordering. There's a sentence about delivery areas, but there's no delivery option only pick up. It didn't stop us from ordering, and the food was good enough that I ended up not caring that we had to pick it up.
google avatar

Tony W.

Yelp
Great service. Fast service. Clean. Everything was awesome. The hot and sour soup is the best I have had in long time. Taste is authentic and delicious.
google avatar

Brittany H.

Yelp
Terrible service, bad attitudes except for man that brought our food to us, and the food was gross. I could go on but that about sums it up.
google avatar

Jessica M.

Yelp
This is my fav Chinese restaurant/takeout ! Been going here since I was younger . Highly recommend ! Good food and good prices
google avatar

Melissa S.

Yelp
Disgusting tasteless food. Overpriced! Gave them a second chance. They hired a girl who doesn't know how to answer a phone. Our wonton soup was so bad. It's too bad. They should have remained closed. Stay away! Save your Money!!
google avatar

Danielle M.

Yelp
This restaurant rocks I love everything I have tried I called over the phone and ordered the wrong item. They replaced my order at a loss. Everyone who works there is very nice. The place is clean and the prices are awesome.
google avatar

Kandra S.

Yelp
We used to order food to go from this shop all the time when we lived nearby, and the food and service were always topnotch. We love every dish we have tried. Now that we have moved out into the county, we still order from Wok N Roll. I just found out they have remodeled the location, so I want to eat there as soon as possible. I will update my review...so excited to try Wok N Roll in a new way!
google avatar

Chad S.

Yelp
I really love this place. I usually order the sweet and sour chicken combo and add eggs rolls and plain low mein. I HAVE NEVER not liked my food. The prices have went up since they did the remodel. It's nicer inside now, but the prices are higher than I'd like. Also I've had times I've had to wait 20 to 30 extra minutes to pick up my take out. This has only happened a few times, but nothing was done for me as a long time customer. Just got a sorry about your wait. Overall I still love this place.
google avatar

John P.

Yelp
The service and food quality along with arrogant owners that simply don't care started off my most recent "to go" order at this pitiful excuse for a local "take out" restaurant. The food tasted frozen with an odd combination of favors ( I had the General Tso's Chicken) as my side I had a shrimp egg roll that was very small and tasted previously frozen. My time from order until my food was ready was 1 hour 1 minute. I find that wait totally unacceptable and wouldn't recommend this restaurant to anyone.
google avatar

Cleveland S.

Yelp
Quite possibly the best fried rice I've had in Tennessee. We ordered our food to go and picked it up only 20 minutes later. The quality and quantity you get is outstanding my wife and I were stuffed at grand total of $16. They are a small business with only one location. Looking forward to our next visit

Keisha S.

Yelp
Love this place. Plenty of food for good prices. Nice people. Never had a bad experience here and I'll continue to enjoy their food.
google avatar

Brittany W.

Yelp
Love this resteraunt and so happy that it has been reopened. Good is always amazing and being a small girl I can usually order a meal and eat it for a few days, which is good for the price. They hired someone to work the counter which really speeds things up. Love the done in atmosphere and friendly staff.
google avatar

Carrie G.

Yelp
I have to say the food there is probably the best in town. I had the combo dinner with general tso chicken. Everyone at my table enjoyed what they had too. If I were to rate the food alone I would give this place a 5. We went tonight on a Thursday night and from the time we sat at the table to the time the food arrived 1 hour and 20 minutes had passed. There was only one server on the floor. They also had a steady line of folks picking up orders. It did appear that if you were there for a Togo order you were getting your food 3 times faster than folks ordering from the table. There were no apologies for the delay in getting the food out and nothing offered to hold is and our gingery kids over till it got there. This was the same for all others eating there. They need to hire some addition help to improve their rating.

Lesther C.

Yelp
Took me 50 minutes to get my food, be careful on dining in or ordering to go, they prioritize people who dine in, there was a party of 4 who got there 20 minutes after me and and got their food first. Worst wait time ever
google avatar

Kimberly E.

Yelp
They still have some work to do on timing. I ordered online and was told it would be ready in 30 minutes. Got to the restaurant and waited an additional 30 minutes. Next time I simply arrive to pick up my order an hour after ordering online. Food was fantastic! Ordered three different meals, sesame chicken, shrimp with vegetables and beef with vegetables together with two egg rolls and won ton soup. Everyone enjoyed their meal! Would definitely go back but would order earlier than needed. Food was very fresh and worth it!
google avatar

Matthew P.

Yelp
I have to admit I was hesitant to try eating here again since it reopened, but I have been impressed with the quality. The food taste much fresher than before & I have ate here several times this year.

Kimberly H.

Yelp
Simply the best! Our family loves this place. Comfort food made your way. They go the extra mile to make sure our family gets what we want, each and every time. Consistently excellent. Honeycutt Family gives this place all thumbs up!
google avatar

Jenna H.

Yelp
Good food but the service is pretty slow...especially if you're ordering online or over the phone to pick up. Wouldn't recommend if you're in a hurry.
google avatar

Melissa C.

Yelp
We ate at Wok N Roll for lunch yesterday. My son and I had Beef Lo Mein. It made us both very sick.
google avatar

Carol F.

Yelp
We ordered on line and still waited over an hour to get our food. No matter how good the food is the wait was ridiculous. Would not recommend unless you have a lot of time to kill. And then they started serving people who came in and ordered after us. And when we asked why it was taking so long they seemed very unconcerned. The food was very average and not cheap. Overall a very bad experience. There are way too many good places to eat in town to deal with this one

Cindy S.

Yelp
We ordered take out at 8:03 pm and ordered two meals..pad thai and pepper beef combo. It took 45 mins to get our order. I asked after 25 minutes what was taking so long. There response was "we are busy" The restaurant had one table being waited on. Two other people waiting for orders. I didn't feel was that busy. After I asked for my order the girl at counter cleaned floor and than bathroom. As my order finally came after waiting 45 minutes...she was in the bathrooms cleaning them. I said, I would get my order...as I didn't want her touching my bag after she was cleaning the bathrooms. I would not come here again. Very disappointed. Terrible service.

Alexis R.

Yelp
The food was good but not above average. Pretty normal, good Chinese food. The wait for the food was way too long. The cost of the food was way too high. It was $36 for just my husband and I to eat dinner and we didn't splurge and get anything fancy or expensive. I would recommend it, it just comes with a heftier price tag than most Chinese restaurants.

Shawn A.

Yelp
Love the food, but order during rush dinner time and it takes an hour to get food. Needs better management and more back of house cooks or something. Would hate to stop eating here, but they need to tell you 40+ minutes up front. BEST Chinese takeout in town, tried every place in 15 miles when they closed down for a while.

Phillip L.

Yelp
Great tasting food. Interior is really nice. I called my order in, and it was done when they said. I got it as soon as I walked in with no wait. I held off reviewing at first because they have been slammed with their Grand Reopening, but things are in order now. I would recommend if you are in the mood for some great chinese take-out!
