I've always loved this place! The food is delicious and they always have specials going. I work close by so sometimes I just get it delivered. For Thanksgiving this year they're even serving free meals! Staff is cheerful and friendly. It's a small place with big energy. Highly recommend!!!

The only negative thing I have to say about this location is that their sign was hard to see until you're right up on the turn off. We would have driven past if I wasn't using my GPS. The service, food, and atmosphere were all good. The spicy egg drop soup is delicious. The Lo Mein was soooo good. And the chicken wings were amazing. Cooked perfectly. The garlic parm is so addictive.

Our family had a wonderful experience here. The service was great, and the food was savory! Thank you for the free meal. We honestly appreciate the blessing! Highly recommend the sesame chicken!

The fried rice has the perfect texture, the orange chicken stays crispy (even after a drive home), and the dumplings are honestly some of the best I’ve had anywhere — tender, juicy, and packed with flavor. Service is fast and friendly every time. You’re greeted like they actually want you there, and the staff is always on top of refills and checks without hovering. It’s a level of hospitality you don’t see much anymore. Portions are generous, prices are more than fair, and the consistency keeps me coming back. This is the place that ruins other Chinese restaurants for you — once you eat here, everything else tastes like a downgrade. If you’re craving Chinese food done right, look no further. This place is it.

This was our 1st time here. The teriyaki chicken with steamed rice was fantastic! It was so flavorful. I actually wanted to order a to go plate. And the sweet and sour pork with the sauce was so so good. The sauce was thick, not like the glazes you normally get. Everything was freshly made. The pork egg rolls were so good, we had to order a couple more to fulfill our cravings. And the staff was super friendly and very helpful to explain the dishes. We will definitely be back.

Moved into the NE Area, was hungry and at the time googled restaurant near me which led me here. The menu is extensive and many yummy options- the staff is friendly and patient when it came to us ordering wanting to takeout then switching to dine in. Portions are huge and the food itself was fresh and hot.

food was very tasty and the egg roll i had was one of the best i’ve ever eaten!! the food filled me up quickly and i had some leftovers that reheated very nicely and tasted just as good the next day. i will definitely be visiting again soon. service was a bit slow and the other areas weren’t the cleanest however there was only one employee waiting the tables but they were very friendly!

Everything was freshly made so it did take a bit of await which I didn't mind. My kids had egg drop soup for the first and finished it. Got half of kimchi fried rice and couldn't finish portion was too big for me but I still enjoyed. Definitely will be coming back.

Normally a 5 star for me but the owners changed up the media in which the food is delivered. They used to use the hard plastic dishes but now they use styrofoam containers and every order is a leaky mess. The food is great but anyone who's gotten multiple containers covered in Chinese sauces pooling at the bottom of the bag knows this is truly a pain in the ass. I wish they'd go back to the hard containers.

I'll start by saying the staff is incredible, extremely polite and very accommodating. The restaurant was very clean. The food was ok, not mad but not the best one had, I had the General Tso lunch special and I requested the spice level to be 10 because I was told that the food isn't really spicy, when it arrived it looked and smelled delicious. I was disappointed that it was really sweet and there was literally no spice it was taste but I couldn't get past the sweetness. I will definitely try again.

Searching for some dumplings and instead saw this place was just 2 minutes away. So glad we found it! The location is clean- simple decor but cute! The waitress (I did not catch her name) was VERY WELCOMING and friendly with an amazing smile. Brought us drinks right away while we looked over the menu. Totally different set up from most "Chinese" food places. They have the "typical" sweet and sour , garlic sauce , hunan, etc but .. the kicker is - you choose YOUR PROTEIN! So you make your dish your way basically! Lunch specials (11am-2) are only $10.99 with your choice of HOUSE SOUP ( egg drop, wonton or hot and sour) plus your choice of egg roll or 2 cream cheese rangoons. The menu has everything - including wings, pho, ramen, and desserts! The experience was easily 10 /10 for the price, taste, options and customer service! So I opted for the Coconut chicken curry with lo mein noodles and cheese rangoons and started with Hot and Sour soup! All so good!! Ended the meal with Deep fried raspberry cheesecake egg rolls! Can't say enough about them! It's definitely a place we marked and will be going back to time and time again!! Great job!!

This place is one of our favorites for Asian food and well worth the drive for us. I always order the Pad Thai and it's a HUGE portion(all of their dishes are.) They have delicious wings and fried rice. The servers are very attentive and I'm never without a drink refill or anything I could possibly need. It's hard to find a place these days that has people who take care in their customer service and ACTUALLY check on you. They offer a military/veteran discount which is always a plus. If you haven't tried WOK THIS WAY-- you are missing out!

Found what I would call a moderately long hair in my food. Called the restaurant and instead of being apologetic and offering me a refund all I head was "I don't know where it could have come from. Everyone here has short hair and wears hair nets. We've never gotten a call like this. What do you want me to do?" In the most uncaring voice I've heard. My spouse and I were so disgusted by the hair and the way the so called manager handled things we threw out both plates.

First time walking into to this place I was greeted right away! Amazing food!! I even bought it again for the second time a couple days ago and I will CONTINUE to come back here! Foods always fresh and I've never been disappointed 10/10!!

It's very rare that a Chinese joint impressed me! With 80% of their business being TO-GO, Wok this way doesn't impress much in their dining room but their food 100% MAKES UP FOR IT! We are talking about hot, fresh, tasty Chinese made quick and easy! Nothing really fancy but just overall quality Chinese takeout food! I highly recommend yelpers!

We used to really like Wok This Way but each time we went, the service got worse and worse. The time we ordered before this last delivery, we were missing our soup. I didn't call because I wasn't going to make them deliver a soup, but it was just frustrating. This last time we ordered, we ordered at 1:57 and we did not get our food until 3:45!! We called at 3:13 to get an update and whoever answered told us our food would be here in 5 minutes. This was a really frustrating experience and there was no offer for a partial refund or anything. By the time our food was delivered almost 2 HOURS later, it was like lukewarm. It just didn't feel fresh and we were so annoyed at that point we didn't care for it anymore. I'm usually not one to be picky or anything, but 2 hours is extremely long for food to be delivered. I'll post my screenshots of the timestamps.

A few months ago, I started receiving text messages about deals @wokthiswaysa. We're too far for delivery. I then heard about them being included in the San Antonio Restaurant Gold Diner's Program. Last night, Dad and I went to check them out for our Daddy-Daughter dinner. Paul was running the front of the restaurant all by himself and he is the most mild mannered and gentle person. I had the unsweet tea and Dad his usual Lemonade. We got the Dinner Combo which was 2 entrées, 2 drinks and 2 soups. We tried the Hot and Sour Soup and it was good. Not spicy. Dad had the Chicken Coconut Curry and I had the Orange Shrimp. Very generous portions and we had much to take home. I ordered the Pineapple Fried Rice with chicken and Shrimp Pad Thai to go and with the Gold Diner's Program got half order of wings to go. We'll be having those for lunch tomorrow and maybe beyond. If you're in or near the 410 and Perrin Beitel area, check them out!

The food quality has gone down. The female manager/owner is the worst person. She tried to make me pay for food that i dont like. Then her excuse when I objected to it. They do that everywhere. I am a chef and have work at many restaurants and never heard of that. She got an attitude and had a fit like a 2 year old just slamming things arguing and yelling. The other male owner is spineless does not stick up for right. Stay far from this place I am military and they know it and treated me and my family like dirt because I did not want to pay for food that i did not like and refuse to eat. the food is not good at all for them to be acting like that. eat there at your own risk. I wouldn't eat somewhere that treats their military like trash and dirt.

My first visit today. "J" was working and awesome at his job. I arrived after the lunch crowd and there were a few tables that needed bussed, but the place was clean and welcoming. "J" apologized for the dirty tables - truly there was no need for that because he was focusing on the to go orders and me and there were maybe 3 tables that needed cleaned. He was attentive and helpful my entire time there. I will go back when I'm in that area again.

Since this was close to my work, thought I would try Wok this Way Not too bad. Small establishment. Friendly staff. When I went in to pick up my order, it looked clean. Food was good. Good portion for what I paid.

The orange infused chicken is so good... We haven't had a chance to dine in but the to go orders are delicious and we will be back...

This is our favorite Asian food take out in San Antonio. My daughter and I have eaten at the restaurant and the service was outstanding! The food is addicting, it's so good! Do yourself a favor and eat at or from Wok This Way. You won't be disappointed.

This is my favorite place for fried rice in all of San Antonio. Service is always good because the place is almost never really busy. I try to get here often to support the business. Owner is a cool guy and they always put out good food from the kitchen. It's a very chill place to go grab a bite to eat. Like I said...my favorite place for fried rice

The food and service were amazing. We ate in, the dining area was very clean. Ambiance was great with soft lighting. Give them a try. We had Singapore noodles with shrimp, wings, cheese puffs, and shrimp and lobster sauce.

Well the soup was ok. For the price I paid it was a small bowl. The service was great. It's a small restaurant, clean. I want to come back to try other stuff in the menu.

We had the BEST service with Rolando. The food was amazing. We had the egg drop and hot and sour soup and... dumplings. Then for our main courses we ordered the buttered shrimp and Mongolian beef. Service is great. My husband and I can't wait to go back! Also, they deliver!!! Highly recommend!!!!!!!!

The service was great the server was really kind but when we got our food the fried rice had way too much salt and my husband was not able to eat his plate literally left the plate full. I had mentioned to the cashier that my husband did not eat his plate and fried rice had way too much salt and he said he would give me a discount for the inconvenience, he ended up not giving a discount and I had to pay for a plate that was not cooked right. I was really disappointed because me and my husband usually don't go out to eat and when we did we went to give away our money and still hungry afterwards and I ordered the boneless wings which were fine but not great I ended up sick (throwing up) at home.

Love love love this place. Super yummy. Affordable, with large portions! The staff is AMAZING! They are so kind. The waitress actually held my baby for a bit so my husband and I could scarf down food haha! Her husband was also very kind taking our drink orders and sitting us down! Very clean, family friendly and affordable. Love it here!

By the nature and authenticity of the food, this is not a hole-in-the-wall place. You can tell the food is made from scratch and fresh while served hot and within a timely manner. The waitstaff are completely knowledgeable of the varieties on the menu. The atmosphere is clean. The price is a little high but it balances with the service and authenticity. Well worth the stay. Good job!

The girl on the phone to start was amazing she understood my wants and our meal was excellent I had veggies with white sauce and chicken hubby had kung pao chicken spicy. Just delicious delivery guy John was great and communicated with us. Excellent

I had it delivered it was on time, hot, packaged safe and secured all separated so I could pour out what I wanted. I ordered the Chicken Combo with noodles and broccoli delight came with 2 cheese ragoons delicious even packed me lots of soy sauce I recommend

Was at Baptist Hospital for my hubby's knee replacement, me and my daughters came here for dinner and Terra tested us and Everybody else like gold. Will be returning

We ordered delivery for lunch. Pros.. 1. It came on time and the order was correct. 2. The food was simple .. beef broccoli and lemon chicken with fried rice(yum!). 3. Price ... 19.99 for a a 2 plate lunch with the usual sides and drink. Not bad! Cons.. 1. Food was simple. Nothing wow'd me. 2. The spicy egg drop was not spicy and was kind of bland.

We have been ordering food Wok This Way for years & they never fail too let us down . Their food is always delivered very quickly . Their food is fresh & hot always . Every single dish we've ordered has always been on point . The staff that answers the phone are always nice & every single driver we've had has been so nice . I would definitely give them a try . It's worth every penny .

One of the best (and worst) things about trying something new is that you get to try new food. This wasn't one of the good times. Do not recommend. Edible, but not worth the money.

When you need good, fresh, fast Chinese, this is the place to come. It's a sparse place to dine, so it's more likely you carry out or get delivered. But when you're craving good inexpensive Chinese, come here.

This is our go-to Chinese place! Tried many other places out of convenience and keep coming back to this one. I love the pad thai here! It's reasonably priced and they are always super friendly on the phone and when they deliver. Saturday nights usually take about an hour for delivery so plan ahead. If you give them your phone number you can sign up for text message discounts. They are not annoyingly frequent but every so often they will text saying they miss you and if you order within the week you get something free (ex. dessert or drink). Speaking of free dessert, the strawberry cheesecake is delicious! I also love that the portions are large enough that I always have leftovers for the next day. Highly recommend you put Wok This Way on your weekly dinner menu rotation, you won't regret it!

This place is amazing. Their Hunan chicken is far better than its price would indicate, and I'd venture a guess the rest of their plates will be just as surprising. As you can tell from what I've written. I will be going back to try every other dish on the menu. P.s. I have to mention this was the best pork egg roll I've ever had, hands down. Crisped to perfection! Try it, tell your friends. I've found my favorite Chinese place in town.

Yum! We were told this was a great place to try, and they were right. We moved to Texas a year ago and have had trouble finding good Asian food. We did a phone order for pick up, and the man who answered was courteous and helpful. We tried a little bit of everything and loved it all. We will definitely be back. Sorry, no pictures. The food was gone as soon as it came through the door

Good meal. Had the sampler plate. When I opened it everything looked the same. So I just had to dig in and find out what I had. I couldn't even try and be greedy and keep it all to myself. Very filling so I had to share. Never tried this restaurant before and am happy I gave it a try. Thanks for the cheerful delivery guy.

We love this place! Everything we have tried several things on the menu and we have not been disappointed. Prices are really reasonable, customer service is amazing. We look forward to going again constantly very soon!

As mentioned previously, the food is bad here. The chicken in the chinese food, orange chicken, is inedible. It was so chewy I feared I would choke. I should have ordered Vietnamese noodle? I am not sure. I ordered delivery and they don't deliver, Grubhub rips you off for $13 delivery fee. The rice was only thing edible, fried dumplings were good, too. I am out half a days pay for a dinner I threw in the trash. Hold onto your cash.

If you like Chinese food to go, this is the place. Great food to sit on the couch and eat and relax.

I order from Wok This Way often. Their food is always fresh, hot, and the delivery people are wonderful. I have not had a bad experience yet. I've enjoyed their combo Pho, (a little skimpy on the meat, but good flavor), their appetisers are always good, today um trying one of the chef's specials: shrimp with butter sauce. Sounded too good to pass up. I also ordered the spicey egg drop soup. There is enough for two. It's got just enough spice to please you, without needing milk. One thing I enjoy ordering is the wok sampler. It's got a bit of everything to try. All fresh! Yum!!! I hate that the photo I have to see every time is the roach incident. For goodness sakes, many many places have bugs. Having lives all over the world, one bug doesn't freak me out. I would not be happy, but it's not happened to me, or anyone else from what I've read. So, that's just crappy for this place.

A slightly above average, run-of-the-mill , 'westernize' cuisine that aspires to be above Panda Express, But don't let that fool you into thinking it's a brag post. For less than ten dollars, you're getting a lot of bang for your buck, but of course you're gonna be sacrificing quality for quantity. The spicy chicken vegetable dish comes with hot brown sauce or the healthy and less caloric white sauce. Comes with fried or white rice, choice of soup and two spring rolls. I impugn the freshness of each dish, as it may very well be that these dishes are pre-made and kept on life support via under a heating lamp, rather than made to order. Still, it quenched my hunger and didn't hurt my wallet, so that's something of value in its own right at the very least, right?

Ordered online. Everything was warm and correct! Tasted delicious as well! Will definitely eat here again!
