Wow. This place is kind of a nightmare. Been here a couple of times and the food is usually just pretty good, like a 7.1/10 or so. The last 2 times have just been miserable, though.
I ordered from here last Sunday night at exactly 9:44 pm on my way home from DIA, and a lot things were closing, and I wanted to get some food in before their 10pm close time. Anyway, so I order about $35.44 worth of food, and the website shows me a blank receipt that says "Thank you for your order", but never gave me an order number. The website says it'll send me an order number to my email. I wait a couple minutes, but it never sends me anything. Whatever, I figure it's probably just one of those places that closes the kitchen before their time listed because no one picked up the phone when I called, so I make nothing of it and just order from Great Wall down the street a little ways, and get my food for the night. But then I look at my bank account the next day, and they still took out the money.
I call and this lady answers and says they'll refund the money in the next 3-5 days (no apology btw). I say okay and move on. About 10 days later I'm hungry and want some Thai food and it dawns on that I don't think they ever refunded my $$, so I call. I speak to the same lady that they charged my card and they never processed my refund she told me. She said they didn't call to let me know they weren't refunding it because I didn't have the order number, which quite frankly 1) I didn't have an order number 2) she could've looked at the caller Id and called me back and 3) that's straight bs. I told her it was $35.44, and that I order after hours at 9:44pm. The order could be looked up by that. How many orders are they stealing form people every night that they can't figure out which one to refund? She says she can't process a refund without and order number and just keeps repeating that statement as I calmly explain multiple times (in varying wording) that they didn't give me a order number in my receipt. They just charged my card $35.44. She was very rude and rather aggressive, so I let her know that I was driving over there right now, and showing her the receipt and getting my money back, which at this point, it's more about the principle that they took my money without providing anything whatsoever than the $35 I complexly forgot about for 10 days.
I get there and speak to who I guess was the owner (or manager, whatever), and explain my situation, and he takes a long time, but gets me my money back. The lady on the phone was still very rude and dismissive at this point, and simply ignored me and never apologized for her unprofessional demeanor.
So, and this was clearly my mistake, but I'm generally a nice, fair guy, and I was hungry and didn't feel like going to another place, so I ordered some food and gave them a second chance. I order a red curry (told me it was already hot and couldn't make it "Thai hot"... it was about a 2/5 so it when I ate it, maybe a 3/5 at most), drunken noodles, and some what I called eggrolls. We talked for a second and I said "egg rolls, Thai spring rolls, whatever you call them here... and can I get some spicy mustard with that please?" He tries to clarify again, I answer "crispy.... Crispy... the fried ones.... Crispy". He shakes his head. They give me my food and I go home and sit down to eat, and there are the Thai spring rolls wrapped in rice paper with a peanut sauce on the side (which the peanut sauce is the only thing that makes those type of spring rolls good imo, but I can't eat it because I have a mild allergy to), but they're defintiely not remotely crunch and I just don't like them. So I bring them back and just keep getting lip from the lady about how she can't give me money back because she didn't take my order and so she can't confirm what I ordered. Frankly, it doesn't matter what I ordered. I didn't get what I wanted and it's not my job to clarify any ambiguities on their menu, even though Technially I wasn't remotely incorrect in my ordering. The gentleman who took my order clearly wasn't a master of the English language, so the order was messed up. It really doesn't matte. Is this how they treat everyone whose order they screw up? Very ridiculous. She didn't finally give me back about 7.50, even though I'm pretty certain those spring rolls were more. Whatever, I took it and left
