Always great food and large portions. Been here many times, including for my wife's bday and my MIL's bday. For the bdays they gave us few small slices of cakes with a candle. Great atmosphere and service. They bring you a complimentary nice dip (tastes like olive paste and thousand island) with some bread as an appetizer. Its pretty good. The coffee cake is delicious! But they tend to run out frequently

I've been here three times, and all three times it was for the same dish: tuna nachos. OMG, it's so delicious. The desserts are also amazing. It's a nice place, clean, and cozy. I definitely recommend it.

We had a new waiter serve us today. There wasn’t anything bad about her; it’s just that she kept messing up our order. For context, we visit here every once in a while when seeing the Christmas lights, since this place is kinda far from our home. We met this kind waiter, couldn’t get her name. Based on her actions and the fact that there was another waiter nearby watching her, we could tell that she was a trainee. By “we” I mean a family of 4. First, I ordered pasta with marinara with a side of carrots and cucumbers with RANCH. Then, my brother ordered a pizza, ordered a side of fruit, and then when the waiter asked for anything else, he said to her clearly that he wanted fries instead and had changed his mind. The waiter heard him and wrote down fries instead. My parents had no issues with thier fish tacos. My side of carrots and cucumbers came with NO RANCH. Not even another container or a different sauce. Nope. Just no ranch. At all. The menu even said “with ranch” and my brother, instead of fries, got fruit. So my mom had to sacrifice some of her fries for him. And was the fruit even good? No. The cranberries were mushy and falling apart. So when the waiter said to us “how did she do?” I told her about the ranch (my brother already had my mom’s fries so we didn’t say anything) and she was able to replace it. But to also start off, there was only one table left when we came in. It was very busy (went on a Thursday night) beautiful fountain though.

Amazing food and great service. We just moved in town and trying restaurants around to find “our places” and this restaurant is definitely going to be one of those we visit all the time. We had burgers, chimichurri steak and cake for dessert and everything was delicious and amazing. Definitely coming back! And did I mention that food was amazing?

Like to come this place because their wait time is not always too long… the staff member are always super nice and helpful. And the food is yummy. Of course anytime we come we have to take some of the olive tapenade home… no other tastes like it. Today we shared the smoky ranch salad and the mustard thyme chicken plate … the squash was amazing and the asparagus was delish.

We had good food our first time dining in at Wolf Creek after a good experience getting a couple of pizzas delivered. Both my son and I had a Roma Tomato-Basil pizza...wood-fired with a unique crust that is light and tasty albeit not traditional in its texture. These were good though the tomatoes on top presented the cheese from cooking as long as I would have preferred. (I dig the brown spots on not well-done, but done enough cheese pies.) The bread and olive tapenade that came with the meal were definitely tasty. They've got a great selection of house-brewed beers and I enjoyed the impressively tall glass that my Howlin' Hefeweizen came in. This was a good, light, wheat beer that could hold its own with any wheat beers out there. The service was good too...I don't think our server could have smiled any more than he did. There are a slew of vegetarian items to choose from including a portobello mushroom burger, Brussels, a Caprese sandwich, portobello fries, and more. They also have some gluten free items and are nice enough, at least on their website, to call out these items for anyone with those diets to quickly see if it's the right place for them.

This restaurant used to be a favorite of mine, especially for the desserts. Unfortunately, the last few times I've experienced issues. On a special occasion, I made a reservation days in advance but they didn't have a table for me when I arrived. We waited 30 minutes, and although they were very apologetic, it ruined my evening and we ended up getting our food to go. Next time, I went just for desserts and they didn't seem fresh and the portions were much smaller than in previous years. Finally, this last time, my daughter and I ordered the same meal and my fish was clearly much smaller than hers. The picture shows the size of mine compared to hers. I mentioned the inconsistency between the two dishes to the waitstaff and just received an "Oh, okay." They really didn't care. Also, service was very slow and not very attentive or friendly. I'm not sure what's going on with this restaurant, but I think it's time to just go somewhere else in town.

Wolf Creek is a great place for food and drink and has been here for a very long time. Friendly staff, large parking lot, although it is a busy shopping center. There is indoor and outdoor seating. The outdoor seating area is not very aesthetically pleasing and is often not very clean. The bar staff is wonderful. This was our go to curbside pickup spot in 2020. They seem to really get it together for that type of service. When you pull up to the back you have to call for service. The answering recording is annoying. It seems they don't want to talk to you on the phone and they want you to place orders and get restaurant info online. It would be nice if you didn't have to listen to the entire recording before getting the hostess on the line to tell them you are in back waiting for the online order. On ocassion the order will be missing something, even though the staff will go over your order and tell you everything is there. The food is very tasty and the portions are spot on. Their fresh bread and tempenade is yummy. The online order site is sometimes glitchy but eventually it works. Our most recent order was the Chicken Crustada and the Smoky Ranch Salad. Tender chicken, perfect linquini and yummy sauce. The Smoky salad was fresh and the grilled chicken tasty. We love the fresh bread and tempenade always.

The restaurant is on hiding spot . First time came in the smiling of server (Grace )is perfect welcome. Love the loaded potato skin the most . the Leonado pizza was as great as the server recommended. The place is cute decor. Happy hrs 3-5 is great deal Food 5/5 service 5/5 ambiance 5/5

This place feels like a locals spot, lots of senior citizens. It gives the vibe of an upgraded Coco's but with a beer and breakfast angle. They do serve lunch but the options are pretty basic and limited. Ex: you can't order a plate of hot wings outside of happy hour but you can order a trio appetizer plate with them on it. I was in the mood for hot wings, my boyfriend breakfast. So we had : The chicken tenders with the chili sauce: the meat, good quality, cooked well. The flavor and texture horrible. I offered the chipotle and it was tangy and very tomatoey. I thought maybe taking them home and re-heating would make a difference, nope. My 8 year old verbalized he did not like them. And he is usually very polite when he doesn't care for something so for him to tell us. We knew they just weren't good but they give you a lot. Which was nice. 2/10. Wasted $15-17. Caesar side salad: was ok. Nothing fancy but I do recommend the lettuce not being too wet (don't know if it's from them washing the lettuce first but it was little soggy) 5/10 Butter brown sugar pancakes: 8/10 without the syrup. They were the right color, they were thick. The syrup, when it comes out you're already intrigued it's not brown. It's like a yellow, indicative of the butter they use along with lots of brown sugar. It's too sweet and buttery! Crazy for us with sweet tooth's. So next time regular syrup. But best cakes in town. Chicken breakfast sausage: 8/10- had a really nice flavor to them a there was a little a crisp on them too. Eggs: 5/10 . You can't mess up eggs. They came out bland and with a sneeze of cheese on them. White at that. Don't think we were asked what kind of cheese we wanted. Potatoes: 7/10. Again no flavor outside of the ingredients. Huge chunks including of peppers and onions. Dress these up with salt, ketchup and hot sauce. Pineapple Punch: 0/10 . Horrible. Watered down pineapple beer. I even asked if it was sweet and got a yes, me thinking it was more of a punch. Nope. Gross. Wasted $10 Service: our primarily waiter his attentiveness was forced. You could feel it was him just putting on a face to get through his shift. He wasn't rude or not helpful, he just wasn't there 100%. He didn't ask us questions or give advice.. He only came by when we waived for him (which most people would like but because it took a while for us to figure out what I wanted since hot wings wasn't an option... ) and when I asked about a couple things , like the hot wings, no alternatives were thrown out . He was ok, I guess I understand just wanting to be kind enough to get by but really wanting to be home. We had another waiter, he brought the food out. Recognized the young man, a local , a student who's grown up in the SCV area. This impressed us, as we love seeing the community embrace its youth and provide opportunity. A top being proud of this young man, working and he was working his behind off. We got to watch him before he noticed and recognized us. He brought the food out quick, whatever we requests we had he was on it. And he was polite. Which I love to see out our younger generations especially in these kinds of establishments where there are a lot of elders. 10/10 but overall customer service: 9/10.

Came to check out their Happy Hour - great menu and great happy hour prices. We had the pizza and the sliders with truffle fries. The pizza was undercooked, the crust was soggy and gummy. The sliders were tasty, but the truffle fries were overcooked and hard. We sat out on the patio and the service was excellent. Very attentive and even brought water out for the pup. Unfortunately, the patio was buzzing with so many flies! Everyone on the patio was waving their hands driving flies away. We'll come back and try again, but for now, they were just okay.

I love this place :). I believe their food is made in house which is rare these days. You can ask the cook lol . I think I remember their staff telling me that they make everything from scratch. Anyway, I placed an order for pick up tonight and wanted to give a shout out to Max for the great customer service. He's kind and he sounds so happy ! He lifted my spirts with his good mood; now I'm happy to go pick up my good food . The bread and dip starter is sooooo good. I've eaten and enjoyed the calamari, pizza, hamburger, chicken taquito starter, the pasta picatta (you can order a shareable size for $5 extra and you'll get an extra chicken), calamari, fish and chips! Today I'm gonna try the Orange Chicken! You can't go wrong here. It's a nice place to take family or friends who are visiting.

I made reservations at Wolf Creek for Sunday brunch with a friend. I arrived a few minutes early. I was greeted immediately as I walked in. The hostess was so kind to get me seated and let me relax while I waited. Service began shortly after my friend arrived. The fresh bread was nice. We ordered salads -- the Cilantro Caesar with Shrimp and the Asian Chicken -- good portions, fresh and tasty. The people are super friendly. We were checked on often and never rushed. The ambiance is ok. Parking is not an issue in the large plaza.

Small and sometimes hard to find parking but food is very good. It's hidden away so you could miss it

We have been to WC many times and we've always had a great experience, and today was no different. We came after the lunch rush hour and the place had a few patrons. We were seated right away! Our server was Brenda, very nice and pleasant- attentive for sure. We noticed right away the menu looked different in a sense that the selections were smaller. We had the famous chicken-potato taquitos and the fish tacos. Both were equally tasty. We also bought their loaf of bread to go! The vibe today was chill and somewhat quiet. WC is a good place to eat at any given day.

Not a bad spot. The breakfast looked delicious but I tried the chicken sandwich. Although the chicken tasted crispy then honey on it just tasted more slapped on rather than incorporated into the chicken if that makes sense. It felt more out of place than anything. The fries were super crispy. The bread was fluffy and that olive sauce for the bread was interesting. If you like olives you'll like but if you don't then it will just taste weird. The steak sandwich was good but was lacking more substance to it like it had more bread than anything. I would definitely try other things as well.

The food was good and the portions are generous, and the service was friendly and efficient; I would go back for that alone. But the one thing that made our lunch special was their cheesecake. Take it from someone who is a cheesecake connoisseur: this is the best cheesecake I've ever had.

Stumbled across this place on yelp looking for places to eat being in the area on a Sunday afternoon. We love a good brewery and some food but we were blown away by this place. We got a hot honey pizza and a blackened chicken pasta ( which was moderately spicy which i loved) but OMG both dishes were amazing. Our server who was also the bartendet did not get her namr but she was awesome! Finally for dessert we had a coconut chocolate chip cheesecake and i dont have the words for that because we couldnt get enough. Absolutely coming back!

I've hired wolf creek on several occasions. I love their food and customer service. Their beer is excellent! I highly recommend them.

Always a great little mom and pop type no commercial restaurant. It's a little small, but you won't be dissatisfied with the food.

This is one of the best restaurants in the SCV. Food and service are top notch. We've taken quite a few large groups here and they have always handled it with aplomb. Our last group took up the entire patio and they managed to serve the group with a smile and in an organized manner. And I know it was a lot of people. Many of the dishes are quite generous, and that is appreciated. And it's more than quantity, their quality is quite good and consistent. And come for the bread and olive tapenade. That stuff is legendary in the SCV!

We came here tonight for dinner. We shared the Asian Salad and the Grilled Chicken Skewers. The salad was excellent and the chicken skewers were great. The sauce is a little spicy but really good.

Everything here is fantastic! First off, you have to get the olive tapenade--it's absolutely incredible. I could seriously eat a whole bowl of it! We tried several dishes, and every single one was delicious--this place never disappoints. The service is always top-notch, with an attentive and friendly staff that makes you feel welcome. The ambiance is just as impressive--whether you're sitting at a table or the bar, you really can't go wrong. Highly recommend!

We were in the area and decided to try out Wolf Creek Restaurant. We ordered a cheese pizza and pasta for the kids, which they enjoyed. My wife and I were celebrating our anniversary and ordered the soup and salad, their specialty Bayou Chicken, and the Chicken Crustada. Everything was flavorful, and the portions were generous--we had more than enough food for the next day. Laina was a friendly host who welcomed us warmly and guided us in since we came in through the wrong door. Mario was our server, and he was great--attentive and kind throughout our meal. Overall, we had a great experience here and would definitely return.

Great food, good prices. That's really enough said, but this requires 80 spaces. Folks are great.

We were pleasantly surprised when we got our food at Wolf Creek. I mean I had read the great reviews but didn't think it would be as great as it actually turned out! I LOVED the scampi ! What generous portions, enough to share! The kids menu is bumping, no joke! My kids loved everything we ordered, and the quality of food was definitely there as well. I think the only miss on the mark was the German chocolate cake which was EXTREMELY sweet! I'm talking kilos of sugar per bite. We won't ever be ordering that again, but we do look forward to trying other desserts which they say are made daily. Our server was friendly and very nice to interact with. The manager, a kind lady also kept checking on tables to ensure everyone was content. We definitely appreciate this as well. A fun spot with a cute outdoor patio for some fresh air. Plenty of lot parking. Looking forward to becoming a regular and updating my review for that extra dessert star! Cheers to local good eats Yelpers xx

First time coming here. I can't believe we never tried this place and we have lived here for 3 years. First service was great, Maddy was awesome. (Thank you Maddy) The food was amazing. I had the tri tip and it did not disappoint. My partner had the fish and chips and he loved it especially the coleslaw. Best coleslaw I ever had. We shared the cheese cake.. soo delicious. We will be coming back for sure. We even received a complementary dessert trio. Amazing. I love this place. You have to come to Wolf Creek and come eat. 10 stars!!!

Service yesterday was incredibly unusual. I have been going here for years. But yesterday was definitely different. My family and I came in for reservations. It took almost 10 minutes for a hostess to even acknowledge us. But prior to that, at least three waitresses walked by us and not a single person looked for the hostess to help or even said anything like "Someone will be with you." Just stares as if we were inconveniencing them. Once seated, I thought everything would be okay. We ordered our food. Apps came out pretty quickly. Our main course took almost twenty minutes to get. We asked our waitress to just pack our food to go because our toddler was getting tired. It would take at least another fifteen minutes after we asked. I love going to Wolf Creek. But service yesterday was just awful. And that in itself is incredibly disappointing.

Warm hospitality by the staff. It was St Patrick's Day and I looked forward to visiting this place. We were seated before the rush, and were served the delicious olive tapenade and bread. As appetizers, we ordered the bacon flight which was fun, loved the unique flavors of each of the bacon...and also had a Whipped Cottage cheese and granola bowl that tasted like a lovely dessert, more than a "healthy" option. We were given a St Patrick's Day menu special, aside from their other menu, but feeling like I had to celebrate St Patrick's Day, I opted for the Corn Beef Brisket. Oh, my...I loved it! Reminded me of how my mother use to make it! My daughter ordered a traditional French toast, and it was perfect. We definitely will be coming back. The service, and food were wonderful, and they even have outdoor seating.

Had a nice lunch with a friend for my birthday. The menu is nice and varied. The waitress was super attentive, friendly and pleasant. We liked it all.

I like the "newish" North Park area of Valencia. Lots of leafy trees, lovely homes, parks, and some upscale versions of regular chains and stores, like my favorite Ralph's. So, when I was thinking of trying something new for an early dinner last weekend, I remembered there was an interesting spot right at Decoro and McBean, in a nice, small shopping mall. It turned out to be Wolf Creek. We tried it and were very glad we did. It's very good. Small, cozy, clean, and cleverly decorated, with a handful of tables, we made sure we had a reservation. Resy does them for WCR&BC and usually Resy places are a cut above, so it was promising. Good thing too, even at 3 pm, the place was crowded. There was our table, ready and waiting for us with a sign saying so. Yay! The menu is excellent. Lots of things we all were excited to try, even though they were often dishes you would find in similar places. Here they are elevated to the next level. Take a look at my pictures and note especially the whipped olive tapenade served with the complimentary freshly baked baguettes. It was so good, we asked to take some home -- best of its kind in my experience and I am an olive oficionada, growing my own in my yard. Our server, Hannah, was all smiles the whole time. Everything we asked, was answered expertly and our dishes came out quickly -- she got everything right even though we ordered a large number of things. Honestly, there were at least a dozen I wanted to try and only my scale edits my choices these days. And, take a look -- the portions are beyond generous for the usual prices anywhere these days. I do have to highlight the desserts. The menu (Hannah recited it) was so varied, unique, and lengthy, that I was gasping by the end of it. We ordered six of them and that was with restraint because every single item sounded complex and delicious. The ones we got were superior in every respect. Wolf Creek could compete with the best of them in West Hollywood or Downtown, LA. You could come here just for dessert and coffee and that alone would be worth the trip from anywhere in Los Angeles. Run, don't walk ... in fact, fly!

Wolf Creek always has amazing food, great customer service, and great vibes. Their tapenade and bread is the best around! Also their pastry chef always has the BEST desserts. We love the churro cake, heaven and hell cake, and trying new desserts! Our favorite server / bartender is Sara! She's so sweet!

DO NOT COME HERE FOR BRUNCH! I ordered the biscuits and gravy $16 for only two small biscuits and A VERY SMALL AMOUNT OF WATERED DOWN GRAVY! I "assumed" the eggs were included, nope, $5.50. Never again. I should've read all the updated recent negative reviews. This place is going downhill fast.

Took my mom and family for early mother's day. Delicious food, Great service , Ambiance is fine. I got the Sweet Heat Shrimp Tacos 8/10 Missing the Heat part but still very good. My mom got the fish and chips. Dad got the lime steak tacos , very good. Brother got the tri tip sandwich. Amazing . The rice with the tacos is also Very good

I've had brunch, lunch and dinner at Wolf Creek Grill several times and I'm never disappointed. Last night was especially fun. This great experience started with the person who seated us. She was very accommodating and did everything she could to make us comfortable. The person who served us was really wonderful. She was kind, funny, informative and checked back with us often to make sure everything was okay. Someone else came to our table who I believe was the manager of the restaurant to also make sure we were enjoying our meal. They even offered my friend a complimentary dessert since this was her first time. As an extra bonus, the eight people sitting at the table next to us were friendly and we started chatting and joking as if we were old friends. Now to get to the food which is always exceptional. The portions are generous and the price is right. I usually have the Country French Chicken and it is amazing. Last night I had Chicken Piccata and it was wonderful as well. Don't get me started on how delicious the dessert was and huge which is always a bonus. I'll be coming back at the end of the month to bring a friend there for her birthday. I recommend this restaurant often and I wish more would provide the type of service and atmosphere as Wolf Creek Grill. Well done everyone and I can see why you're always crowded. Looking forward to my next visit and many to come.

Really great experience! Busy for a Wednesday night, but we were seated right away. Stopped in for a quick bite to eat while our son was volunteering at church, and let the waitress (Grace), know we needed to be done in an hour. Food came out quickly, and was delicious, fresh and reasonably priced. Manager was talking to diners, and genuinely cared about her job and customers. We will be back.

I want to give great credit to the owner who has corresponded with me this week to address the situation proactively. For that reason I am revising the rating to reflect this very positive interaction. It is especially important to me that our local "non chain" restaurants thrive. It makes a community special, less cookie cutter. I do wish Wolf Creek ongoing success. It has been a mainstay in my (our) dining since 2016. Let's hope the feedback helps set a standard for service that keeps customers coming back for their creative food and beer offerings.

I got the pizza and salad lunch special. The cilantro caesar salad was quite tasty. That was actually my favorite part of my meal. I had the Leonardo pizza and it was not great. It had great toppings, but somehow lacked flavor. Service was pretty good and the place was clean. I am a huge advocate for physical menus and receipts, just in case people do not have access to technology, or you are stuck in a wifi vortex where your phone does not work. You have to ask for those items here, because they will present the technology as the only option.

one of the most popular restaurants in this part of LA, which is only the least of what makes this place depressing. it's a celebration of saturated fat with intent only to appeal to none other than the primal animal drive to store calories to survive winter hibernation. like giant overweight bears the large human beings who seem ubiquitous around lumber in with their families, having barely managed to turn off their teevees, to dine here. steaks and bbq and fried veggies and potatoes of course. then there's the desserts in case one didn't get their 3,000 + calorie dinner. no wonder i never eat at places like this, but if this is what she wants, this is what she got. wtf, i'm not marrying her. i'm an itinerant, living nowhere or when, flexible and ready for game over

I have loved Wolf Creek for many years. They are a staple in our community and the food is always delicious (I'm addicted to their Southwest Chicken Salad and of course their bread with olive tamponade). I've known Wolf Creek to be a local business that truly cares about their customers, and this past week they showed that even more. I had a birthday group dinner planned at another restaurant in town when at the last minute on the night before the dinner the owner changed their terms of the reservation. In a panic I called Wolf Creek to see if they could accommodate our large party on their patio. The General Managers, Evelyn and Kim, came to the rescue and delivered a far better experience than we ever could have had at the other locale. From the amazing serving staff (thank you Joel) to the great food, the night was a perfect success. Thank you Wolf Creek for coming to the rescue and knocking it out of the park! We were already fans but we are all even more so now.

the coconut creme brûlée actually changed my life. seasonal tho so you need to ask what their dessert is.

This place rocks! Chicken & Potato Taquitos: The taquitos were a different take on the usual fare. The potato mixture filling that they used with the chicken was tender, tasty and popping with yummy flavors while the outside was nice and crunchy. Taquitos come with green onion, cilantro, salsa and avocado cream, chipotle mayo and sour cream, yum. Fire Grilled Artichoke: The artichoke order was 4 halves with 2 different sauces, each unique in their own way. Satay Chicken w Peanut Sauce: This is what you'd expect from a satay chicken order. The chicken was tender and came with peanut sauce. I will definitely visit this restaurant again. They should expand to Northern Cali as well.

When I'm craving a good meal this is the place. You need to try the complimentary bread and homemade dipping sauce. I can't explain it but it's amazing! Their steak with Gorgonzola and sautéed onions is amazing. Great beer also.

Food is pretty tasty. I definitely wish they had a full bar. Looks like they took off my favorite appetizer off the menu which sucks but it happens. It's pretty loud in there and the service was touch and go. We only saw our waitress one time and then like 3 other people periodically . Never saw the same person twice lol

The food here was pretty good. We got the poke nachos, the salmon fish, and a tri tip. All the dishes were delicious. The service was very kind and attentive as well. It a local spot and I can see why haha the place was very laid back for a midweek dinner :)

Today we were finally able to meet as a family for Christmas. The food was delicious and so appreciate all the amazing options. But the server made it perfect. Katie ( M) was our server and was great with our group. She was fun to work with and so easy! Thank you for hiring such great staff!

Yelp has done me an injustice. First and foremost, the staff and specifically our waiter were amazing. They are all kind and attentive. I appreciate the whole experience in that regard. The moment we walked into the restaurant it smelled fishy, come to find out someone ordered the salmon.... Our food was just terrible. The quality questionable. The fries were room temp and for it being "Cajun" it had no flavor. Very disappointing.
