We have the Tuna Melt , it was delicious. Surprised by the lemon taste. That was different and unexpected . Definitely coming back to try the Korean BBQ sandwich .

Really pleasant. We had just some sandwiches. They were simple but well made. The staff was nice, a simple place but really welcoming. A nice little island of easy going people in a city too full of complicated restaurants, eateries....

This is one of the best spots in the area by far, cozy atmosphere, great food and absolutely terrific service. The staff here really cares about their customers and you can definitely tell from their food! They have an awesome grilled chicken sandwich and I’m excited to try some of their other dishes. I would highly recommend stopping in here! Food comes out quick and delicious! They also have a bunch of snacks like candy bars and drinks and other little things you would find at a market!

When I got there it wasn’t busy and the worker was very nice and polite and always toward the end give us watermelon and saw my sister dog offer teriyaki chicken. I enjoyed their food a lot it was bomb

I've always wanted to try this place after passing by multiple times on my way to Mission Bay. I came here on a Tuesday afternoon and ordered a few things including Chicken Teriyaki to go. As a plot twist, my mom was also free the same afternoon, so we decided to eat here. I told the owner, "hello, I'm back" and she gladly replied "Thank you for coming back!". The ambiance is very nostalgic and homey. The vibe at this place suits their extensive menu of American, Japanese and Korean favorites. My mom ordered a Beef Bulgogi plate with steamed rice and kimchi, while I opted to try their Beef Teriyaki plate with side salad and steamed rice. Our orders were brought to our table in less than 10 minutes. The beef slices were truly tender and matched well with a generous portion of tasty, sweet yet balanced homemade teriyaki sauce. The beef bulgogi also tasted authentic and well seasoned. The owner was truly accommodating and generous that she gave my mom and I each a bowl of Miso Soup. Their miso soup is definitely tasty, exceptional and well made. I'm glad I crossed off Wolfe's on my bucket list and it won't be my final visit! On my next visit, I would love to try their donburi, other tasty Japanese and Korean dishes along with the breakfast classics.

Great lunch place with a lot of food items. Used to live across the street so I would come often and I never got the same thing twice because I wanted to try most of the menu, so I will say it is hard to go wrong with anything here. Only downside to this place is that it closes quite early, so make sure you check the hours before you go.

Cute little family run cafe. Down to earth with simple but good food. Had the Korean spicy pork bento and loved it. Everyone was very friendly and food came out quick.

I drove by Wolfe's Lunch many times but they aren't during the weekends. I finally made a visit during weekday lunch and tried the bimbimbop and hot link sandwich and loved their food. The prices are reasonable. The lady at the cashier (presumably the owner) was so nice and friendly. I would definitely you try this place. I will be back to try other foods.

Nice lil spot close to Kaiser & UCSF Mission Bay locations. From the outside - it looks like an old corner store or truck stop. Inside it also looks dated with a lot of seating. There's a decent amount of paid street parking. I really needed something to eat before I headed to my doctors appointment down the street so I stopped by here hoping to get something quick. Service was nice - the ladies that work their were welcoming. It was a mix of American and Korean food. I opted to get the Bulgogi Bowl. The portion was great and the flavor was good. It hit the spot enough for me to function. I also ordered the Chicken Udon for my son which he enjoyed. It was a really large portion of udon so he had plenty of left overs. Great, quaint spot if you're looking for something around the area.

For a kind of random place location wise, this place is surprisingly cute and great. Good: - Nice service - the woman at the front was so sweet to us - Loved the kimchi fried rice, some of the best I've had - Prices are reasonable - not horrible but also higher than a fast food place Bad: - Not a lot of seating and it feels a little bit dirtier on the inside - Outdoor seating is beautiful Overall would come back to try something else!

I've passed by this standalone lunch room numerous times but never ventured in until quite recently. The building has been a diner since 1948 and passed hands only three times in 74 years with the current owner being Sung Yun. Wolfe was the name of the original owner. She has maintained the vintage vibe of the operation which appears to draw primarily service workers and local residents. And now me. The menu is robust considering the size of the chalkboard with familiar greasy spoon choices like Denver omelettes, breakfast combos, and burgers. Yun's unique contribution can be seen in the Japanese and Korean fast food choices from donburi and udon to bibimbop and kimchi fried rice. Even though I could've easily devoured any of those items quite easily, I decided to focus on their selection of five salads and picked the $10.99 Shrimp Salad (photo: https://bit.ly/3SrLbG7). It was a good-size bowl of chopped romaine, thinly sliced tomato, red onion, red pepper, and shredded carrot with quite a few fresh-peeled shrimp. A side of thousand island dressing completed the picture. I ate my salad out on their makeshift patio. Regulars were walking in and out with regularity while I was eating, certainly a good sign during still uncertain times. DELISH Go if you crave a burger Go if you crave breakfast , or sandwich OR if you are just hungry they will have something on there menu that will make you glad you went to Wolfes. Oh and service like butta silky smooth .

I ordered bibimbap and was glad it came out quickly! Since I took it out, it was easy to make more rice and an egg to share the delicious flavors with my boyfriend. It was just under $14 before tax and tip, and they five a complimentary madeline as well! I would definitely come back.

Those who knew Art's breakfast or this mom & pop place on New Montgomery corner, they were serving bulgogi to' go or dine in. It's nice to find another homey place. Bulgogi had lots of sauce. Very tender. Rice was perfect. Little pearls. Kimchi was not spicy at all which is my level of taste. Plenty of parking. I took close up pictures of menu so i can scout out what to order next time. Yes yelp menu is from the 1960's. Don't trust it! Will have to go back and try their katsu specials on weds and Fridays.

I've jogged by this location many times and wanted to try it out since it's so close by. Was able to check it out this week during lunch and was pleasantly surprised! We phoned in our order for the Chicken Katsu, Grilled cheese & bacon sandwich, and a beef donburi. After 10 minutes, our food was ready and it was a simple pickup! Overall, lunch was really tasty and we'll definitely go back again for lunch sometime Note: the prices on the yelp uploaded menu are not correct

I'm biased. Seems old Korean families have made dinners in the Bay Area a thing & I love it. Brogoggi & eggs anyone? There is Arts Cafe in the Sunset and this one. Reasonably priced, traditional dinner food with a touch of Korean. Very down to earth & nothing fancy.

Situated on a corner with a few outdoor seats, it's a cozy little diner where you can munch down on asian fare (specialized in korean). I got the bibibap (over easy egg done right, decent portion of bulgogi, with sliced/julienned marinated cucumbers/carrots/ mushrooms, bean sprouts), make sure to ask for extra spicy sauce (not enough for the plate if you like things saucy)! Service was friendly and kind - just go to the counter, order and pay, then she repeats your order over a loudspeaker to the kitchen I love that it's got a home-ish vibes/low key, no frill

Friendly staff and great food with generous portions. I regularly get the pancake breakfast and they are huge (fill up the whole plate) and quite fluffy.

Great value....and some Korean food as well. Need to stop by this place more often. Not many places like this anymore in S.F.

This corner spot is the place to stop for food! My 2nd time here as i don't live in the area , and it never disappoints! i wish they closed later on in the day though my fav is the bulgogi bowl! it comes with kimchee and i always get a side of miso soup! BOMB

Good solid American breakfast. Korean and Japanese fare as well. I have not tried the miso soup, but I think I'm going to make a trip this week to give it a run.

Have driven by many times; never went in, until today. Popular place! Delicious burgers and truly amazing crispy crunchy fries! I don't usually wax poetic about fries, but these are the best! The staff are super nice. And, a free madelein! Will definitely go back. Good experience!

Been passing by Wolfe's Lunch for the past 8 months and finally gave it a try for lunch. They have a large menu filled with burger, sandwiches and various plates with breakfast items. I had the chicken teriyaki that comes with white rice and salad. Pretty decent portion and good taste. The sauce wasn't too sweet or tangey. Service was aright and they have a parking lot. The tables are kinda dirty though. All in all, a good place for lunch.

This was such a cute little fast Korean comfort food mom n pop shop, so glad we stopped in for lunch today! The owner and cashier were super friendly Korean, so it was nice practicing a little Korean with them while ordering. I ordered a Kimchi Fried Rice with Runny Egg and Spam and it was amazing! I liked how the little mom n pop shop makes the orders right when you order, you can taste that it came fresh off the pan. The fried rice itself was moist, very flavorful, and have a healthy and colorful selection of vegetables in it such as corn, carrots, snap peas, and of course, kimchi itself. The runny egg added more moistness to the rice, which I loved, and the flavor of the egg white was slightly fried and very savory, which was great! I think the fried rice could have been a little spicier, but my stomach was thankful that it wasn't. The owners were super cute, they gave my friend and I miso soups on the house, even though it typically costs $2 extra for a bowl. I'm not sure why this place doesn't have higher ratings because the shopkeepers are all very warm and amiable people and the food (at least the kimchi spam fried rice) is on point! I would definitely come back here for the service and for Korean comfort food cravings. :)

Stopped by here today for breakfast before work. Since I liked the kimchi fried rice so much from last time, I decided to order it again. I also had the hamburger it tasted healthy. Arrived around 8:20am and the patio was available for outdoor dining. The lady was so sweet and kept checking up on us. This is my favorite spot !

They open at 6am, and that is amazing. For someone who is an early riser, this is something definitely worth noting. It's not easy finding good homemade style breakfast this early. Veggie 4 egg omelet with rice. Owners are Korean so they were able to accommodate my Korean need to apply rice to everything! Super nice. And truly felt like I came over to a friends house for breakfast. What a little gem!

Spicy pork was bomb. Huge portion that came with rice, salad, gyoza, miso soup, and an orange wedge. Definitely will come again because that was a huge menu and want to try other breakfast and Korean items.

WOLFE'S LUNCH is visible inside the interior of some S.F. Muni city buses. Just look up between the window and the ceiling, if you're lucky.

Very friendly atmosphere. The staff were nice. They recommended the Kimchi Fried rice with egg and extra side of spam. That order completed my day. I liked it a lot.the Kimchi Fried rice was good and the spam was nice and a little bit crispy. Just the way I like it. They have a good selection on their menu also. Good experience eating here.

They make it as soon as you order it! So have time to wait a little of course! Unless you tell them too, no salt was added. But with Sausage and Bacon. Everything was good without it! I'd come back, and the latte was good too. $9.99 for the Breakfast combo.

I happened to walk past this little place while on lunch break. I quickly hopped on yelp to see how it looked and was happy with the food options and reviews. I was definitely not disappointed, so thank you Yelp! This is certainly a hole in the wall, but also your typical quick eating establishment that gets people in and out within their break time, but also make sure you leave full! I ordered the loco moco with turkey and enjoyed my lunch! They don't skimp out on anything so you get your money's worth. They do have a bunch of different options so you have plenty to choose from. I don't know how they are faring during the current situation, but I do hope they are able to manage.

this place brings so many memories! obviously, it's close to our campus therefore it is my go-to weekly lunch place. everyone is absolutely nice, and kind and the food is amazing! honestly, if you try anything from there you will not be disappointed!

I love this place! The ladies that work there are always so nice. And the food is honestly really good. I've only had a couple of things but I love the tuna melt. I normally go on my lunch during work because it's quick. I definitely would recommend it to anyone in the area looking for a quick breakfast or lunch.

Delicious comfort food. My favorite is the katsu sandwich, and it comes with perfectly crispy seasoned fries.

Great little spot. I honestly just discovered this place despite driving past it for years. My little family and I were looking for breakfast that was open early (think 6am) and in SF that's quite difficult. I also wanted simple unpretentious food... Found Wolfe's on yelp and now I'm in-love. It's run by a kind Korean couple and the food is excellent, especially for the price point. It's easy to just drive/walk past this little place. Give it a shot. I'm sure you'll find it to be a refreshing change to the normal SF joints. Also, this place is a hundred times better than Sally's, which is super close by.

Quick, decent prices, efficient with the details, lots of options and when you order regularly, the nice lady working the front usually gives you a free cookie! Definitely making this my spot.

I stumbled into this place at lunch...... The menu is HUGE, with a Japanese flair. There is nothing fancy about this place, but the portions are adequate, and the price is fair considering it is San Francisco. They open early for breakfast, and that is wonderful as well. They accept credit cards and cash, there is no table service, but I think you will like the place. It is family owned and operated, so that is a plus for me, because I like to support small business.
