The professional touch that these guys put on their catering was exceptional. Last night I went to the premier of Affion Crockett’s comedy special and it was catered by Puck. Everything was delicious. The salads were crisp and flavorful. It didn’t taste like commercially produced Sysco food that you normally eat when you are having a catered meal. The app was a little cheese plate that was excellent and I tried my best to savor it all for the duration of the show. Unfortunately I didn’t get a chance to try the chicken because my buddy ate it all and made up the story that I said all I wanted was the cheese. She completely made that up. But the salads, popcorn, and bread didn’t disappoint. I was just fine with the sides that accompanied the chicken as my meal. I claimed everything left in the boxes as mine after the chicken incident. I’m pretty sure she swiped the desserts and ate those after the performance so I’ll add her reaction to the desserts after I subtly bring it up next time to talk to her. But overall from what I enjoyed, I was very impressed... A+

Great food! Delicious. Friendly staff on top of their service. Offers very generous portions especially with the mixed drinks. A wide variety of options for breakfast lunch and dinner.

Food is not recommended, had during the oscars and chicken we all received was raw , really nasty 🤢 desserts, even the mini chocolate gold Oscar chocolates tasted really really bad. Food has old taste

Yelp
I've heard good things about Wolfgang Puck; but I did attend an event where they were serving drinks. The service was great; the drinks although not so much. Both me and a friend thought the presentation was there however lacked on the taste.

Yelp
Wouldn't recommend using their services. Better options available for your catering needs.

Yelp
My work has been serving Wolfgang Puck Catering for the past 6 months+ and the "American" food is good. Such as sandwiches, pasta, Thanksgiving theme meals. However, all of the ethnic food is absolutely disgusting. Wolfgang Puck Catering definitely does not know how to cook ethnic food. Unfortunately there is no feedback system for them at my work so I have to be very selective in what I'm choosing to eat for the day. I try to stay away from any ethnic food such as "orange chicken" and "tamales" (in quotes, because it's not what it sounds like).

Yelp
They cater to our office and occasionally it will be okay but usually the meat is always dry and tough, overcooked.

Yelp
Attended lunch event recently. Food was ok, wait staff is nice. Atmosphere was horrible because of manager African lady yelling on servers nonstop. Probably should pick managers staff more carefully.

Yelp
I was lucky enough to attend the Governor's Ball this past Sunday and after the travesty of the slap seen and heard around the world, I was a bit overwhelmed by how much the entire experience of the Ball has changed since I was a part of this catering company just a few years ago. The food and service (all the staff had to wear masks poor things) were better than it has been in years: I drank some amazing rose champagne, my food favorites included the spicy tuna cones, waffles with fried chicken, lobster pie, beef sliders, cornbread with crab and caviar, and the mac and cheese which has been thankfully updated. I didn't get a chance to try any of the Turkish selections. I tried one dessert which was a choc sea salt eclair topped with a gold and chocolate oscar. Upon my exit, I, of course, took home one of the famous choc Oscars. Many celebrities left even quicker than in past years, perhaps due to the Will Smith incident (that's almost all anyone talked about). I enjoyed watching Kodi Smit-Mcphee proudly carrying a beautiful rose. Most importantly I was able to confirm from a few of the WPC butlers that almost all the mountains of left-over food were in fact donated to organizations whose mission is to feed multitudes of hungry individuals so ubiquitous in Los Angeles. This is a welcomed change from decades of having to watch the majority of this unspoiled food simply fed to the dumpsters. Nice job!

Yelp
Lucky me, I got a free lunch at the Hammer! Wolfgang Puck did the catering for the event I was at. Lunch- Pasta salad with broccoli- good Caprese salad- somewhat tasteless but dressing was fantastic, I thought the tomatoes could have been more ripe and the moz wasn't tasty, I did love the tiny cherry tomatoes that were also on the plate, probably as decoration. Those were sweet! salad- slightly overdressed but good Fix-yer-own-sandwich bar- turkey, roast beef and ham were all quality meats. The pickles weren't bad either. I unfortunately picked the worst cheese to go with the sandwich. Desserts- chocolate chip cookie- the trays were set out in the sun and though it wasn't that hot last Friday, the chips had started melting white chocolate chip with dried cranberries- slightly better than eh chocolate cookie- eh peanut butter- eh brownie- ooooooh, we have a winner! I also ate some of the blackberries sprinkled on the tray as decoration. Waste not, want not! The iced tea was great. I didn't try to make my own hot tea or coffee. They also had sodas and bottled Fiji water. The staff were really great though very silent in their service. The only thing I have to note (and this is not their fault) is the plates they used were bigger than the trash receptacle's opening. Um...I had to jam my heavy crystaline plate to make it go away. Though I later saw staff picking up plates. Hmm, I guess I should have waited.

Yelp
I just don't get the hype. I have been to a ton of events all over this city and tasted the deliciousness of lots of caterers. Nothing about Wolfgang Puck's catering events ever stands out above the others. The pizzas are good but I have had them so many times I no longer say "Ohhhh..." The staff is always really professional. I have the feeling a strict drill sargent is lurking inside the kitchen doors. Is that just my vision of a European pressence. Guilty. So forget the stereotype and enjoy the best aspect of this catering company, the people.

Yelp
I was lucky enough to attend the Governor's Ball after the Oscars ceremony and more exciting than seeing Meryl Streep and Quentin Tarantino, I got to eat unlimited Wolfgang Puck catered food, and of course see him in action. Is it wrong to be more excited about a giant pile of lobster, crab, mussels, oysters, shrimp and clams than getting to stand near Neil Patrick Harris? I think yes. The sushi was actually high quality, and the appetizers flying around the room didn't disappoint: crab cakes with wasabi aoili, toro on crispy rice, whitefish sushi cones with taro root, pork pot stickers, etc. Yum.

Yelp
Recently attended an event with Puck catering. The event was a fundraiser and the food was wait staff delivered appetizers. The food that I tasted was delicious, as expected. The great disappointment was with the overall timing and delivery of the food. The wait staff failed to evenly disburse food among the crowd of 150 guests. What food that did come out was sparse. As the evening started to wind down large quantities of food started to roll out just as we were being served desert items. It's as if the kitchen realized that they had a lot of food to get rid of lest they return or throw away. This is shameful for any catering company. Much worse when it's from a trusted name at the top of their game. Buyer beware for future events.

Yelp
I can't say enough amazing things about working with Kari at Wolfgang Puck at the Pacific Design Center. We desperately wanted to have our wedding ceremony at the Pacific Design Center but weren't sure the best way to do that. We had been told it wasn't possible through the PDC directly when through a friend we were connected to Kari. She was so helpful in working with us on our budget to make it happen. Once we booked, Kari went so above and beyond to accommodate any request, give suggestions how to make the day perfect, allow us to stop by and visit as many times as needed. The day of the wedding, Kari acted like a same day coordinator while we were there. My mom goes on and on about how relaxed she could be knowing Kari was there. Kari managed to find a way to make every ask happen without even flinching, but better yet she was one step ahead of us at all times. Our guests all talk about our wedding as the best they've been to, this is in large part because of Kari who made sure everyone was happy. The setup on the balcony at PDC with the Hollywood Hills behind us was gorgeous. Kari provided all the chairs, they had it all set up and broken down, we didn't have to worry about a thing. I highly recommend working with Kari at Wolfgang Puck in any capacity you can, she will make your day perfect!!
