Love this place. Well priced and I absolutely love their menu. More specifically I am obsessed with their dessert menu. The cocktail selection is also delightful. Service is amazing and the wait for food is always surprisingly short. The atmosphere is also very relaxed and inviting. One of my favourite dinner spots in Detroit for sure

Google
Everything here was great. Really enjoyed the secluded seating areas. Food was delicious, but portions were smaller than expected. Branzino was unreal, salads were great, steak was cooked perfectly, but the Mac and cheese was a bit watery for my liking. Chefs special was quite a disappointment, should have got the chocolate soufflé with gianduja icecream instead!

Google
Was absolutely blown away by the service and quality of the food we received when here this past weekend. Everything from the seafood to the steaks to the wine to the desserts and most of all the service… No place like it in the casino

We had an Excellent Company Christmas Dinner Apple Salad - Fuji Apples, Endive, Medjool Dates, Shorpshire Ceddar, Spiced Marcona Almonds Rib Eye Steak w/ "Oscar" Lump Crab Pee Wee Potatoes, Togagrashi, Confirm Shallots Brussels Sprouts, Sweet and Sour Glaze

Held hostage over Michigan carryout law at the exit of casino. So being walked all the way back in when security didn't understand the law was embarrassing an infuriating. Waitress shamed my husband into tipping more than appropriate on bottles of wine. Steaks were delicious though!

Google
Very delicious food with big portions! The complimentary bread was amazing! I couldn’t believe how big the main lobster was! It was awesome. The drinks are also fantastic and came with a cute pin. Service is great and they are very attentive. Will come back!

Google
I never had a steak that was so gross before. Its suppose to be award winning spot. Nope food was horrible. No seasoning on steak had to ask for salt and pepper. Also the sauce taste like water done A1. Two good things the waiter was very helpful and the atmosphere was good. I will not be returning.

Google
I was really in between 3 and 4 stars, and went with 4 as food was so wonderful. I had black cod - and it was some of the best I ever had, with a fantastic sauce! The rest had, steak, chicken and seafood linquine - all wonderful. Problem was in the service. We sat down, and within 5 minutes, the hostess came back and asked if we would mind moving to a different table. The table had a dirty glass on it. Drinks took quite a long time. A gluten free menu was requested, and took 15 minutes, and servers was absent most of the time.

Yelp
Came here with my mom after a Lions game and we had the best experience. We were seated in one of the "cages" which was more private and secluded from the hustle and bustle of the rest of the restaurant. Our server, Elizabeth, couldn't have been more friendly or helpful. She offered great recommendations on the menu, and was very attentive. We ordered the Shrimp Diavolo, Creamed Corn, Truffle Fries, D-Prime Burger, and 20 oz. Bone-In Ribeye with addition of truffle butter - everything was mouthwatering. The ribeye was cooked to perfection, although it had an exceptional amount of fat, even for a ribeye. I wish we opted for something less fatty like the Filet Mignon, but we still really enjoyed everything else. Will definitely be back!

Yelp
If I could give this ten stars, I absolutely would. From the moment you walk in, the restaurant exudes class. Latanya was our server, but it truly was a team effort. My biggest regret was not getting photos of our meal. Drinks were incredible. Two of us had the shrimp cocktail appetizer - the shrimp were fresh, clean-tasting, and not at all soggy. One of us had Asian short ribs for an appetizer and they were the best ribs I think I've ever tasted. For our main course, we ordered two filets (one chef-style and one with bacon and an egg), a ribeye (Oscar-style with king crab), a lobster tail, roasted carrots, a loaded baked potato, truffle Mac and cheese, and asparagus. The steaks absolutely melted, the lobster tail was large and fresh, the bernaise sauce was to die for, and the sides were all amazing. we ordered a slice of chocolate cake, and it was so large, it filled the entire to go box. It is not an inexpensive restaurant, but the food, the drinks, and the entire experience was well worth it. It felt like a Las Vegas steakhouse, for sure.

Yelp
We made a last-minute reservation, and the staff couldn't have been more friendly and accommodating. The ambiance is definitely grown and sexy with its low lighting and dark, sophisticated features. The food? Top tier. I had the chicken pasta dish, and it was packed with flavor. ordered the pan-seared salmon, and it was just as good--crispy on the outside, tender inside, and perfectly seasoned. Everything we tried was delicious, and the whole experience was enhanced by the romantic, inviting atmosphere. I'll definitely be back!

Yelp
I had dinner here a few weeks ago and it was a great meal. Our service was good! Dirty martini was made well, good amount of olive juice. The calamari is made up of tiny rings and no tentacle pieces which I liked. The cornbread comes out on in the skillet. I got the filet with the zip sauce and it was perfection. Everyone in our party enjoyed what they ordered as well.

Joseph G.

Yelp
Excellent service and good. Significant attention to our table. We hade the 14oz ribeye cooked to med rare perfection along with the wedge salad . Wedge salad was very good but cut up in to very small pieces. As we left, the table next got their edge salad served in quartered pieces as it should. The potato. Purée was excellent. Wife wanted the Peach Crisp which is a yummy combination of Peaches baked with brown sugar and spices. O delayed with a brown butter crumb topping. Don't forget the vanilla ice cream setting in the middle! I did not like that I had reservations but was seated in the bar area when the main dining was not half full at 7:00pm,

Yelp
Staff super kind, efficient, and proactive. Very consistent. Came here a while ago and could not stop thinking about their truffle Mac. I'm not a Mac and cheese girl but I really like theirs. The steak never disappoints me. Ribeye is good enough for me but if there's a few of you, definitely get the tomahawk to share. I would love to come back and try the other appetizers. There is a few that caught my eye but unfortunately don't have a bottomless stomach. I've been looking forward to come back and so happy I did.

Yelp
Very upscale restaurant located in MGM casino. Although there website states require "smart casual". Most patrons were wearing tshirts and shorts. Food definitely lived up to the pricing. Had the chefs special Japanese wagyu filet cut. It was the leanest and most flavorful piece of meat I have ever eaten. For a side recommend the roasted fingerling carrots. The service was top notch and attentive to the tables needs all night. For dessert I recommend the "Eve's Revenge". Buttermilk spiced cake with white chocolate mousse and caramel apple compote. The presentation was in shape of an apple and was large enough to Share.

Yelp
I was in town for my brothers wedding and my friend made us a dinner reservation at the steakhouse in the MGM Grand Detroit. We also were able to use some MGM rewards to get 25$ off each of our meals (SCORE). I got the Free Range Chicken Tagliatelle and the Bread and Butters ( Cornbread in a cast iron skillet). My chicken pasta meal was perfection, the pasta was not over or under cooked and the white sauce had a great taster without being too salty. The highlight was definitely the cornbread. It was sweet cornbread, think Jiffy but super elevated in taste and texture. I also tried my friends steak and it was prepared well and I would recommend it to a steak person. The ambiance is great for a date night but I wouldn't suggest it for a first date unless you have money to blow. The service was good but I didn't like that the server didn't definitively answer any of my questions. He was however attentive. All in all I would return to this steakhouse again because it really checks all the boxes. Tip: Make a reservation. The casino can get busy. Also play my Vegas and rack up MGM rewards so you can get $25 off your bill.

Bridget W.

Yelp
Steak was average, service spot on. Missed no creamed spinach & thought it odd they served chips & dip. Would have preferred bread. Chips an odd choice for that caliber steak house. Valet parking was a nightmare. Lost the car and had to wait for a disturbing retrieval in the cold. Would not likely return to the Steak house. Desserts, chocolate cake, scoop of ice cream & carrot cake were all 5 star as were my dining companions!!!

Vy N.

Yelp
I was very surprised the first time I came here with one of my friends. Did not expect such good steak inside the casino. I went here a few more times afterwards and I recommend making a reservation. It can get very busy. The surf and turf is really good and so is the NY strip. Presentation is very nice as well. They give you free bread which is always a plus :)

Kari F.

Yelp
I came to enjoy a nice dinner last Saturday night around 7pm. At the host stand, a rude woman named Teran explained that they were not taking walk-ins and that they were fully booked. We watched as the guests behind us handed her a $100 bill to be seated after she also told them the same thing. I will not be returning to this establishment.

Courtney S.

Yelp
Waiter was fantastic ! Took care of my husband and I for his birthday . Steak was well done twice and the waiter was great!

LaKita H.

Yelp
The food had no flavor, especially our truffle lobster mac and cheese. It definitely needed some salt/pepper and more cheese. The mac also only had a blatant taste of heavy cream. Our server Liz was passive aggressive. I didn't like her attitude. Also, as far as taste, I've had better steak at Texas Roadhouse. The bread and butters were the most pleasing item we had.

Melinda E.

Yelp
Found this little gem inside MGM & seen they had some Cute cocktails so we decided to try it. The wagyu steak was delicious but a little over cooked for me. The truffle Mac and cheese was good as was the asparagus. The complimentary bread was warm and had a good variety. Our server was amazing and on top of it. I would definitely try this place again while visiting Detroit

Yelp
We came here after an extremely disappointing "dinner" at Zuzu... nothing was open late enough, so we wanted to try D.PRIME! We got in right away, we're seated in such a cozy area, and had AMAZING service. Our ribeye was MELTING in our mouth. We also got a shrimp appetizer that was scrumptious. It had a pork belly that was filled with such a hearty flavor. Truffles fries... crack. Chocolate cake... also crack. Tastes like a brownie fudge cake with chocolate rice crispies on the end of the cake slice!! So good! 10/10! Thank you for saving our bad date night from Zuzu!

Brad B.

Yelp
D.PRIME Steakhouse, a great place to piss off a few of your friends. We ended up at this place after our group of 7 split up into about 3 different groups and the outlaws that were a part of my little group decided to throw some cash into a slot machine. To our surprise we won about $500 and decided to enjoy a steak and some cocktails rather than throwing it back into another machine. Good choice, for us. It's dark, as a steakhouse should be. We sat at the bar, chatted with the bartenders and placed an order. My order was for a martini with blue cheese stuffed olives and the 14 ounce Prime New York Strip, no sides, screw that. At $70 for the steak alone I trusted that it would come out perfectly medium rare, and it did. To go with the steak I opted for a nice glass of red wine and it was perfect. Those who know me will tell you that this is indeed my favorite meal. As for our friends... they were PISSED when they found out what we were doing. Needless to say we had to Uber back to our AirBnB alone and faced the music upon arrival. Totally worth it.

Yelp
Food was VERY PRICEY but honey it was WORTH EVERY PENNY! Service was top tier; very knowledgeable staff...our water glasses were never empty and our alcoholic beverages were made PERFECTLY. The ambiance was rich and wealthy!! SERIOUSLY! Very spacious seating; the furniture was from a magazine cover! The bar was stocked well with any alcohol you could ask for, and I could tell that this place had regulars because of how friendly and welcoming the bartenders were. We will definitely be back, as this was a great place to celebrate our birthdays !

Rosalyn P.

Yelp
The ambiance was very nice and elegant. My ribeye steak was absolutely delicious. We ordered a Caesar salad, macaroni and cheese and truffle fries. The Mac and cheese needed a lot more cheese. It was way more cream than cheese. I would go again for my steak and the vibe.

Molly B.

Yelp
Food was good, service was very slow. Definitely expected service to be better for how high our bills was. Truffle fries were very tasty!

Angelo E.

Yelp
Horrible. My 21st birthday which was supposed to be super special for me they completely RUINED!! I'll be honest I was 10 mins late but I got PULLED OVER and had no choice, I honestly was surprised they didn't take me that's ever messed up. Told them and even showed them my ID to believe me and the f***ed me! I personally will NEVER, EVER be coming back here.. disappointed honestly my night was ruined

Yelp
Since we wanted my niece's graduation from MSU to be super memorable, we brought her and my sister's family to dinner at D.PRIME. I'd requested a special location that would be more private than the middle general area in my online booking for 6 of us. I also pre-requested a bottle of Dom Perignon. When we arrived, we were seated at the wrong table. It was in a high traffic location where once again, I felt like I'd be constantly looking over my shoulder waiting for a tray to come crashing down on my head, so I asked if it would be possible to be seated in a more private area per request on my reservation. Immediately, we were re-seated with an apology (right hand and left hand didn't know what was going on I guess) There was a PERFECT table located next to the kitchen in a cubbyhole where we could still see all the action on the floor, but where it was quiet and the table wasn't cramped. Upon being seated, a very polished and sophisticated looking Sommalier showed up and asked about the bottle of DP. Well, since it was a surprise, nobody at the table knew what it was for. I had gone to the ladies wash room before taking my seat but upon my return and just as he was leaving, I could hear them saying they knew nothing about it. I realized what was going on and said I was the one who made the order so he gave me the options. Vintage 2012 and something else that was a super large size well above what a group our size could consume. So I went with the Vintage 2012. My niece got to keep the bottle for her graduation dinner souvenir and she loved it! Dinner was perfect again, as every other visit has been for us. The restaurant staff do a superb job at food prep. One thing my huband and I both noticed is how much smaller the sides are now than they used to be. Covid + corporate greed really did a number on restaurants. Portion reduction and price hikes have been going hand in hand in about every consumer goods business. It clearly shows here. If you want to share sides, just know that portions of something like mashed potatoes for a hearty eater who loves mashed potatoes with steak, should order a side for one person and not plan to share. Even a person of my stature, if I were having a normal dinner, could eat an entire side of mashed potatoes. It's approximately 1.5 measured portions (1 fist = 1 portion for a person). Broccoli is similar since they include stems in their preparation but they're very tasty. Everyone was comfortably full at end of the evening, but I think typical Americans like to enjoy the full feeling and might be slightly disappointed to see how much smaller the so-called sharable portion size has become. The food item I was least impressed with that I almost forgot about is the carrot cake. The waiter took a small container full of brownish tinted liquid and poured it over the carrot cake. Little did we know, it contained alcohol! He lit it on fire but it wouldn't stay lit and he tried a few times, then gave up and served it. We took a bite and it was absolutely disgusting. We at the opposite end of the cake but it was like sticking your tongue on a cotton ball dipped in rubbing alcohol (or what I imagine that might be like). Absolutely horrible. We let the staff know at the end of the evening. We didn't ask for any refunds nor did they comp us the dessert which is fine since we ate part of it. I don't expect free if we're going to consume part of something. I wanted to be sure they knew it was disgusting. And what if someone was sober? That sort of thing could ruin a person's sobriety!!! Horrifying. Once again, I forgot photos! How could I? I take pics of just about everything. I'm going to have to go back again and get a few good ones next time. :)

Yelp
Very disappointed in the experience last night. I booked a 7:45pm reservation for my boyfriend's birthday & we were told we'd have a strict 10 minute grace period. We arrived on time however the hostess stand was very crowded staff seemed overwhelmed and seating out of order. The young hostess with blonde curly hair was however apologetic and we appreciated that. Once we were seated our server came over took our drink orders, brought us some chips with a sour cream dip & we proceeded to order our entrees. I chose the bass special, a crab cake. My boyfriend ordered a New York strip and lobster tail. For our sides we ordered the lobster Mac, asparagus, and honey carrots. We placed our order at 8:15pm. At 8:55 I asked our server if she knew how much longer for our food. She apologized and said our food was actually coming up next. Then another couple came and sat at the table next to us and ordered and by 9:15pm the couple next to us had all of their food. I decided to walk to the hostess stand and ask for the manger. A Caucasian lady talking on a cell phone said "I am the manager but I'm on an important call." Then a male hostess said" I'll walk you to your seat and we will be right over" About 5 minutes passed and they never came so I went and found the manager again. I explained to her the scenario and her response is what ticked me off. I told her about the wait and the couple next to us who received their meals in less than that 20 minutes and she said to me "Well what did they order?" Which I felt was very unprofessional because an apology should have been offered. Our food came out and my crab cake, the honey carrots and asparagus were freezing cold. The one star is because my boyfriend loved his steak and lobster. We requested the bill & togo containers and we left agreeing to take the food home and reheat it ourselves. The waitress did apologize and offer complimentary coffee but I was already over it. For $323 we should have had a totally different experience and your manager needs to spend some time in customer service in services. Her mannerisms are awful.

Yelp
D.PRIME was a treat! It was the upscale environment we were looking for, superb attention from staff, craft cocktails and premium select wines. For dinner, we settled on the seafood appetizer and the filet. Both were made to order and delicious. Could not have asked for a better experience!

Dave B.

Yelp
awesome delicious steaks, mac & cheese, and drink drinks. This is definitely the place to go for steaks and drinks and the casino.

Mike W.

Yelp
Making food taste this good should be illegal. Expensive, but worth every penny. Don't be fooled by the portions of sides. I fished out what I thought was reasonable. And went back at least 3 times for more from the dishes they were brought in. We WILL be back. Everything we had was incredible. We both agreed. Our best meals ever!

Ana V.

Yelp
Came here for a quick bite which ended up being a 10/10 dining experience. The service was excellent, the ambiance was quiet and enjoyable and the food was delicious. I shared the appetizers with my significant other and the food amount was plenty! Very happy about the food and will be adding this place to my recommendations list

Lauren W.

Yelp
Came here a few Saturdays ago. We made reservations for 5pm right when they opened. We were seated quickly and our server (clay I think his name was) came over very quickly. We ordered a few drinks and some apps. We got the sticky ribs and the glazed prime strip steak, both were very good. For entrees we had the sea bass, salmon and burger. Everything tasted very fresh and delicious. They had my fav dessert creme brûlée as well. Over all very nice restaurant and the food was great. I forgot to take pictures of everything, very unlike me lol

Jamie W.

Yelp
Good food but my only complaint is that they don't give you bread but instead they offer potato chips and dip as a table appetizer.

Dick E.

Yelp
The food and the service were both really good even though they were busy as it was a Saturday. The ambiance was also really nice

Melissa C.

Yelp
We were planning to visit Tap but they had a long wait due to short staffing. We walked over here instead and we're seated almost immediately at the bar. Super nice place, beautiful ambiance. Little more upscale but still casual at the same time. All food and drinks were fantastic and presented with such finesse. We started with the jumbo lump crab cake. I had the 9 oz filet with a side of the glazed carrots and a key lime cheesecake for dessert. Portions were absolutely perfect and satisfying. I was very impressed. The only thing I was underwhelmed by was the side of potatoes that my friend got with his meal. There was really nothing special about them and they were a bit bland. I'll definitely be returning

Samir M.

Yelp
Detroit Airport flooded so I am stuck here til tomorrow. This is inside the MGM Grand Casino. I came here to play poker. Food was spectacular. One of the best steaks I ever had! I had the Prime Ribeye 21 days dry aged. We seasoned. Medium rare. Hit all the notes. Charred, moist, not a lot of chew, well seasoned. Cornbread was ok. A little over cooked and dry, but I wouldn't throw it away. Lol. Flambé shrimp was amazing. Crab cake was good. Chocolate cake, and I eat a lot of those was incredible. I recommend warmed. The chocolate ice cream looked pre packaged. Restaurant is too nice to have pre packaged ice cream with frozen chocolate syrup on top. Service was impeccable. Waitress was Latonya, she was great. Plate clearing was awesome and I think the Manager was walking around talking to everyone. I was eating by myself so I wasn't much conversation. Lol.

Lisa W.

Yelp
After dealing with two rude and unprofessional, hostesses at Tap we walked down to D Prime. They just opened at 5pm, so lots of room at the bar, where the helpful hostess had us seat ourselves, and Amy, one of the bartenders provided great service. Drink orders quickly taken and delivered, she made me a special Mojito that was excellent. We were able to order from the regular restaurant menu, lots of great selections. Our food arrived quickly, and exactly as ordered, it was a great meal, lots of fun interaction with the bartenders By the time we left at 6:30, every seat at the bar was taken, and the restaurant was packed. This will be our first choice. Next time we come to gamble at MGM.

Tom S.

Yelp
Very disappointed. We have been here many times and it has definitely gone downhill. The food was not nearly as good as it used to be. We spoke to an employee and they stated that due to costs, they had to change vendors. It shows! The Ambiance is nice as always, but loses it luster when the food comes out. Too bad. Was our go to place when going to MGM. Now we will have to uber elsewhere.

Pete S.

Yelp
This is a terrific steakhouse, staff and service were superb. We started out with raw oysters East and West coast which were supper fresh. Dry Aged Strip steaks were cooked to perfection. All of our the sides, truffle fries and Mac&Cheese were also terrific. Great in-house made desserts, you can't ask for much more. We will defiantly be back when we visit Detroit again.

Doug I.

Yelp
Awesome food and service. The food was cooker perfectly. Great atmosphere. We will be back.

Chelsea M.

Yelp
Absolutely amazing! I wish i would have took more pics unfortunately the food looked so amazing we did not take out time to snap a pic! Fyi you even get to pick your own knife there are quite a few to choose from... i know no big deal but it was a definite hit at our table. For main course we had ribeyes, filet, lamb chops, truffle butter, lobster tater tots with pork belly, asparagus, wild mushrooms and mac and cheese! There was nothing that they could have done better everything was absolutely amazing. The service was equally amazing we never had empty plate on our table for more then a few seconds.. are drinks were always filled. This is a must if your from the detroit area.

Trisha M.

Yelp
Horrible service! Have been here over an hour and no food. Apparently there are people here filming for Instagram so nobody else matters! They came after us and already have their food. And this was suppose to be a special night. I guess a group of girls don't matter! Don't bother going here. Waste of time and money!

Bob Q.

Yelp
One of my favorite places to go to. Very upscale restaurant, easy to park and get into. The waiters here are very nice, very helpful when it comes to answering questions that I had. Highly recommend D Prime.

Giovanna A.

Yelp
Amazing per usual! This is the perfect place for a nice dinner for any occasion. I'm happy I was recently able to treat my mom for her birthday - keep in mind she is a professional gourmet chef, and I also brought along my picky brother, AND my sister who is also a gourmet chef. They are usually hard to please and always have something to say about the food or service when we go out. This time they all had nothing but great things to say. We were all so happy and pleased with everything from start to finish. Service was excellent, top notch actually! Manager stopped by a few times just to check in and that speaks volumes. The food was prepared perfectly and seasoned well; No need for "sauce". See the beautiful photos :) Oh and I always thought my mom's desserts were better than any restaurant but she even agreed D. Prime surpassed all our expectations and may officially have the best creme brûlée in town! Keep up the great work with the food and service! We all look forward to returning again soon.

Kevin L.

Yelp
Whenever I come back to my hometown, a great meal is always on the books, and D Prime didn't disappoint this holiday season. Nestled within the MGM Grand Casino, this gem is home to great drinks, steaks and appetizers. I'll go as far as saying that this rivals other steakhouses in downtown Detroit with a much cooler vibe (the direct access to the casino also helps, obviously.) Highly recommend the trip downtown for this place, and we will totally be back soon.

Mary M.

Yelp
This is closer to a 2.5 star review then a strict 2 star review. I came here for dinner with 8 other ladies last night for dinner. We had reservations for 8 at 7pm. They were not ready for us and we weren't seated until about 720pm which given that the pandemic still ongoing isn't that bad. We were shown to our table and it wasn't set for 8; just for 7. It took about 15 minutes for the last place setting. Our waitress came around and introduced herself. She then left after getting some additional drink orders. She didn't come back for maybe 30 minutes. When she came back, she took our orders. She took them around the table and labeled us by seats in her notes (this is important for later). Our food took forever to come out; in fact we didn't have our food until after 845pm...um I didn't think we were fine dinning in a casino. Most everyone's food came out as ordered. However, one of our party didn't get their mushroom side. She told our waitress that it was fine but that it shouldn't be on her bill. Our waitress took a long time to check on us for drinks. Water refills were practically non-existent. I had no water for over 20 minutes. No one came to check on us. We didn't get asked if we wanted dessert, not that anyone did but still. Then the absolute horror started. Our waitress brought us the check. For some reason, this restaurant is not able to do separate checks. Everything was labeled by who ordered what but it was all messed together. Drinks were all over the bill. Entrees by seat and then sides at the end. Though, there were some entrees and sides from the same seat next to each other. Our waitress told us that she could handle multiple credit cards...she just needed to know what to charge to each card. She kept coming back when we had the bill. We saw her more when we had the bill then any other time during the dinner. She wanted a credit card as soon as I figured out what that person owed. It was crazy that I had to figure out the exact amount for each person (meal, sides and drinks plus tax). She then was able to ring up each individual person. When asked, she was not able to add tip when she first rang up the card. The food was okay. My steak was cooked correctly. The broccolini was decent but the garlic and Parmesan cheese was really only one piece. I wish I had more creamy Horseradish. I will not be back because the whole bill disaster.

Yelp
I went here for a birthday gathering. It was spare of the moment for a friend's birthday choice. It is located in the casino and was the old Wolfgang Puck restaurant. They also have Wolfgang puck prices or steeper. We had to wait for a seat although we did have reservations. We were seated in a good amount of time so no complaints here. The ambience is on the romantic side. Dim lit with a touch of candle light. They brought out bread and butter which was great while you wait. I chose the salmon and salad. Everything is Ala carte here so be prepared. I am a salmon fan and it was just ok for the price. I have had better but it was good. My friends had the steak and they were huge. They had medium well and the lobster. I am a medium well guy but the steak was good and a sample of the lobster was even better. This is a great place to go for a special occasion. Just make sure to do reservations.

Yelp
First time in Detroit and at MGM Grand Detroit, so this spot was a definite must visit. It lived up to its rep, from the time hubby and I walked in and walked out. In between, the ambiance was very intimate. There was good music playing which enhanced the mood for the food. Our server, Diane, covered all the bases. She gave great recommendations and a detail list of the populars. We started with drinks. I had the Bird Call (must see the pic...so cute and very good) and the hubby had a Dirty Martini with blue cheese olives. We couldn't decide on one appetizer so we decided to do a 1/2 dz of the West Coast Kumamoto Oysters and the Sake Steamed Mussels....OMG!! Bad idea...get the full dz so that you are not mad at yourself. LOL! In continuance, we both had Caesar Salads, but held the anchovies for me. Hubby thought there could've been more anchovies for his liking. Now to the Big Finale....I had the 14 oz Veal Chop and hubby had the 14 oz Ribeye. We both chose the option to add the truffle butter...Great Choice!!! We shared the broccoli, which were so freakin good. Backing up, the steak and the veal chop were cooked and seasoned "To Perfection"! No complaints at all. Diane was attentive and very knowledgeable about the menu and the area . We finished dinner with a cappuccino. Nice! Overall, it was a perfect evening. Hubby and I have reservations for tomorrow night as I now have a taste for a steak. Lol

Yelp
Service is always over and above. The appetizers are always great. The menu could and a few additional items. A baked potato which is usually a steak house regular. The filet I recently had was totally tasteless, no seasoning not even pepper. It's a little dark when you first enter but you get used it! Wish they were open 7 nights a week!!

Yelp
In a word....AWFUL. The food was mediocre, Atmosphere and Ambience: disgraceful Do not waste your time and/or money.

Yelp
We don't eat here often but, when we do, we sit at the bar. Odell is the absolute best. We love seeing his smiling, friendly face. The man does 32 things on one of his circles around the bar. Very efficient. He knows my husband loves a smoked old fashioned, no sugar and has that going as soon as we sit down (his efficiency). The food here is pretty excellent. It would be nice to see some changes to the menu but, NEVER change the Swiss onion soup, it's my favorite lol. I love how peppery it is. I always get the 6 oz fillet. It's a perfect size. Add some comfit garlic and onions to that. So good! We've tried most of the sides and salad and have never been disappointed.

Yelp
After 3+ calls and a trip back to the restaurant the the day we dined in - the matter was resolved and we were refunded our money. Too much drama for an error on their part. Umm, you could have given us a dining credit or something for the mishap. Won't be dining here again. The managers response on 12/31/2021 is not honest as this was not explained to us.

Yelp
Service was good and very informative, sadly the food was dead on arrival. No flavor on potato at all. Parmesan cheese? The carrots were ok but were cold. The lobster mac was decent along with the shrimp. The is the best place to eat at the casino so beware. Get reservations on the weekend because it gets busy. This place would be out of business if it wasn't in this casino.

Yelp
Took my husband here for his birthday. The ambiance was EVERYTHING! My salmon and my husband's filet immaculate! Drinks were awesome as well! We truly enjoyed ourselves!
