The 12 Best Coffee Shops In Houston

"If you want to feel cool by association as well as caffeinated, check out Wolfsmiths Heights in, well, The Heights. Technically this is a motorcycle garage, repair shop, and gear store, but it also happens to operate a little coffee van on a sprawling patio, and we can’t resist the allure of a yes-and business model, especially with great coffee at the ready. Grab an espresso or something sweet and iced before perusing Wolfsmiths’ store full of gear, bikes, and more gear. " - chelsea thomas

Google
Unique place to drop by for coffee. The staff is friendly and the environment is fun to watch bikes and one or two vintage cars pull in. I would go back for the environment, although the coffee isn’t anything to write home about. The chai tastes good.

Went last night for the first time to listen to a singer/songwriter show. I don't use the word 'cool' often, but that place is the epitome of word. The sound and talent was solid. Great atmosphere. A focused and attentive crowd. Now I want a vintage Honda bike, i want to come back for coffee in the morning and very much look forward to the next event. Thanks for making such a great space.

Google
If you have a motorcycle and are looking for a good shop or a great coffee on a Saturday morning, this is your spot. Wolfsmiths has done a great job blending a casual hang out spot and a motorcycle garage. Every Saturday morning they do a Bikes and Coffee meet.

Love this place! If you like motorcycles and eclectic bars - this the spot. They had a band playing and a bunch of people sipping on coffees :)

Google
Such a cool spot. Their outdoor space is awesome for hanging out. They have shade and nice fans to keep you cool. The people are super nice too. The kicker is you get to look at so many nice motorcycles.

Truly one of kind atmosphere, the coffee is great and Lucy behind the counter was phenomenal. If I lived closer it’s the kind of place I would try to keep to myself.

Great motorcycle shop I ever met. Having a cup of coffee with riders friend enjoyed this shop. Got lots of ideas and thoughts about BMW. A great entertainment place we like it.

Google
What a unique place! Coffee, grill, neighbors, unique bikes, and dog-friendly! Oak milk vanilla lavender latte hit the spot and visited with the owner. Nice little hidden gem in the Heights!

Yelp
Kudos to this cafe and the workers. Always delivering great service and sympathy for customers. Their white chocolate lavender oat latte & cappuccino , whoo that was a lot.... Is very good! A friend who came to this cafe regularly, Rest in peace Ethan, We got this drink after him. Every so often we come by on the bikes and visit his favorite cafe. Anyways, If you see the yellow track suit say hi for us ! 05/04/24

Yelp
Paid $569 on May 20, 2025 for a battery replacement. Road it four times (on weekends) since than. it's July 6, 2025 and it's completely dead. Called and the owner was so rude and brushed it off. Asked me what battery was in it like I did the repair. I don't believe they replaced the battery but just charged it. Going to file small court complaint to get my money back since they didn't no do want was promised. Avoid at all cost.

Yelp
I lived on 28th street in the Heights as a child, so I am always driving through the neighborhood and supporting various businesses I find intriguing in the Heights. And that's what led me to Wolfsmith's, which I would describe as a great custom motorcycle shop which evokes an old school Houston vibe. During my first visit here, I got a tshirt, a hat and a patch. On weekends, you can get tacos here, and I plan to return either for that or coffee. This is a cool place to get gifts for people also. If you are a Ducati enthusiast or just have an affinity for motorcycles in general, this is the place for you. Highly recommended.

Yelp
Love this cool coffee shop! I came for a good coffee break with my friend. And we both enjoyed the coffee and atmosphere. The service was really nice. They also have a patio area so you can also sit outside. I will definitely come back again here sometimes.

Yelp
Is it a custom motorcycle shop that sells coffee? Is it a coffee bar that sells classic bikes? is it a chill vibe and a low key awesome place to hang out? Parking is limited, ride a bike and show up early.

Yelp
This is a hidden spot in the Heights - blink and you will miss it! Such an interesting concept - a do it all space with coffee, tacos, and pastries plus a major liking for motorcycles. There is a large indoor and outdoor space with a decent amount of seating. I ordered a Flat White - it was good, what you would expect from a Flat White. Interesting decor! Gearheads will especially love this spot.

Yelp
No coffee. No food. Hasn't been for a while. And even when there was, the atmosphere was never one to relish in. Unless obnoxious revving, smell of exhaust trapping those indoors is your thing. Only lulls in time where those issues subside, is when the place was neat to be in.

Yelp
Nice spot to chill at with a coffee, tea, or tacos on the weekends. Cool riding and miscellaneous merch as well. I've known the owner for a few years and they're all great people there. My Dad is actually being his 1950's Indian (w/suicide shifter) in soon so that they can look at the carb. Can't wait to see how it will run!

Yelp

Yelp
As a motorcycle rider this is my fav. motorcycle bar even though it is 45 minutes from where I am staying. It is still worth the drive! Great coffee and atmosphere. Get to check out the bikes in the shop, they do raffles, have a taco truck, and a fire pit! If you ride you have to check this place out!

Yelp
My husband would probably move into Wolfsmith's if they'd let him- this is his dream shop. They're primarily a motorcycle shop, and have a few badass bikes around the coffee shop side along with some merch. They're extremely friendly and happy to let you poke your head behind the curtain and see what they're working on. Overall a fun place to hang out and a super cool addition to the Heights!

Yelp
Cute coffeeshop tucked away in Shady Acres that doubles as a motorcycle dealership. The aesthetic is very cool, with lots of plants and motorcycles and local leather goods for sale. They have a nice outdoor seating area with a food truck (tacos while I was there), so it's a COVID friendly spot to relax and grab a coffee. I got an iced chai latte and my boyfriend got a cortado - both were great! Would be happy to return next time I'm in the area.

Yelp
Great outdoors space to drink your coffee or tea. The tacos are delicious. Don't forget to check out their shop and tip the staff. They are nice as nice can be.

Yelp
Awesome atmospher, delicious drinks and tacos, the staff is always friendly and if you ride sign up to their email subscription you'll get notified on upcoming group rides and events

Yelp
Really cool concept and vibe in this coffee shop but I was left wanting more. Staff was super friendly and greeted us when we walked in. They promptly took our order and were really nice 10/10 for the service. The total was nearly $9 for a cappuccino and an iced latte with nondairy milk. As we waited for our coffee we looked around at the store which was neat but pricey to say the least. When we got our coffees we were a bit shocked at how small they were- slightly pricey for what you get. The coffee was ok- I think perhaps a bit watery? It wasn't bitter so that's a huge plus! But it was lacking something. We probably won't be back for the price and the taste of the coffee but it was fun to go in and look around.

Yelp
This shop is a diamond in the rough! You don't have to ride to feel apart of the community that Wolfsmiths provides, or a big coffee person either. They have a newsletter that will let you know about all the different various events like group rides, raffles, etc. The coffee is just an added bonus! Check these guys out and make sure to bring a friend of the furry variety.

Yelp
This place is such a hidden gem. Outdoor space out front and open, comfortable seating inside. Dog friendly, nice bikes and cool gift items. Coffee is great too

Yelp
This place is an awesome location! Whether you are a motorcycle lover or simply want to sit and work with a good cup of coffee and some delicious tacos. Highly recommend
