Adorable book store and coffee shop all in one. I had the healthiest food I’ve had in years. They have a great book selection of contemporary and used books. They have their own publishing company as well as an incredible poetry section. they’ve got plenty of seating indoor and outdoor to be creative and hang with creative people.

My favorite coffee shop & overall place to hangout in Fort Collins. I will go out of my way to make the time to come here and just read a book. The atmosphere is very comfortable and the baristas are always so nice. Definitely my favorite matcha in town. 🍵

Great atmosphere! Loved the outdoor seating. I appreciated the staff and their work. The food options were limited, and the mocha wasn't that great. The shop could use more milk options. Especially for those unable to drink whole milk (due to sensitivities of dairy fat) and don't enjoy oat milk or almond milk.

What a great location for so many reasons! Do you like: A) Books B) Coffee C) Local Beers D) Science (on Tap) E) Community Take your pick and swing on by! Be sure to check the calendar because there are lots of events to choose from throughout the month. My favorite is Science on Tap, because you can have a beer while you learn! Thanks for being so awesome, Wolverine. 🧡

I had always been aware of events occurring here but never had the chance to stop in until a friend invited me for board games. The space is super fun and inviting. The book space makes you want to purchase interesting sounding titles. I ordered a beer on tap since it was evening. We were up in the event space upstairs along with a couple other groups. It was fun and I definitely hope to come back and try some coffee or food or purchase a book or two!

Undervalued Local Gem. Northern Colorado's Best locally owned bookstore. Unmatched Poetry Room. Friendly, helpful staff. Beer, Coffee, Books: what more does one need?!

Yelp
What a super cool coffee place to visit! Driving through this city and found this, A bookstore that is a coffee place! Wow!!! My iced latte with oat milk and honey was very good, very coffee forward. Service was really friendly! I also got an almond poppy seed muffin that really made this place phenomenal for me, if you are looking for a chill place, surrounded by books, this is the spot! Give it a try! Coach "aka the coffee guy" Berokoff

Yelp
This was such a fun spot! We came here for a quick beer, and the outdoor seating was beautiful. Also, the art and books in the upstairs section was so fun.

Yelp
Wolverine Farm Publick House was a nice little find that I had on my bookmarked list. I guess I found it probably through an online article for the Fort Collins area because otherwise I am not sure how else it caught my attention. This is kind of a space with several things going on. In one corner they serve alcoholic beverages, coffee drinks and snacks. Also on the lower level is a small book section which a portion of it goes upstairs. There is also a space upstairs for things like small classes or perhaps lectures of a more intimate nature. They were out of my first drink of choice but I easily modified my decision to a drink they had supply of still off the tap. This is such a great place to relax and hang out or sit outside in their patio area on warmer days. Definitely a good place to browse through reading options and to also just kick back and relax.

Yelp
Today is my last day in Fort Collins. I decided to grab a cup of coffee before hitting the road. I made a great decision choosing Wolverine Farm for my coffee choice. They have such a beautiful space and their concept of coffee, beer and books is brilliant. The noise level is pleasant. They play mellow music which isn't loud at all. Staff is friendly as well. I ordered a simple dark roast drip coffee and drank it inside. Coffee is great! Not watered down and not overpowering. They have a nice coffee bar to sit at along with 4-5 tables to sit at as well. This place makes for a great meeting place. Especially for warmer weather. There is a beautiful outside patio with plenty of tables to sit at. It gets better as you walk upstairs. There is a nice side room with shelves of books and two chairs. Ideal for a cozy reading nook. They also have a large size community meeting space. There is a large table with plenty of chairs to sit at. Consider this business for your community meetings. I suggest calling and inquiring booking an event with them. If you enjoy good coffee, books and art, this place would definitely appeal to your interests. Wish I lived in Fort Collins as I would visit here often. I highly recommend checking them out. Out of towners, you would enjoy this place for a grab and go coffee option or a place to pause and plan out the day's adventures. Hope you have a great experience!

Yelp
Delicious drinks and pastries! Also loved the indoor and outdoor of this place. The walls are filled with books from floor to ceiling- and little cozy places to sit everywhere. The outdoor is a garden - good place to sit and work or catch up with a friend.

Yelp
When I saw that this place was a coffee shop and a bookstore I was excited. The outside space is lovely with multiple tables in sun and shade at which to enjoy a coffee. The bookstore inside is small. I would love to just hang out here- with friends, a good book, or some work to do. The coffee was very mediocre though which was disappointing. Some reviews speak of tasty food so that might have improved my review. If I lived locally I would give it another shot- maybe when one of the artists or performers is around. Otherwise I'd just sit outside and smell the flowers.

Yelp
I want to live here. Seriously. This bookstore/cafe/coffeeshop is the thing of dreams and I can't believe I'm only visiting Fort Collins and can't make it a part of my weekly routine!! Food was delicious, vibes might be as perfect as anywhere on earth, and the books! Some bookshops feel like so little intentionality was put into it's selection, but that is NOT this bookshop. Perfect for lovers of anthropology, philosophy, art, nature, and/or feminist studies. Ask for the book/coffee punch card when you check out. Pics attached are their two dishes, the breakfast and lunch specials. And if you could guess from the rest of my review they were amazing too. I will be back!

Yelp
Publick House is an apt name. I wouldn't call this a bookshop so much as a peaceful coffee place with nice seating and niche book selection. I really like the vibe.

Yelp
Love the ambiance here - Honestly wish I discovered it sooner. It's such a cozy spot to hang out. I love that they have both indoor and outdoor seating. Great place to relax and read or be productive with work. I had an iced oat milk latte with white chocolate and it was delicious. Baristas were very friendly :)

Yelp
The food, drink, and ambience are standout. What sets this space apart are the staff and customers. I have yet to show up and not overhear and/or participate in fantastic, intelligent, philosophical, whimsical conversation.

Yelp
One of my favorite spots in Fort Collins! They have a great selection of books (poetry section upstairs as well). Have seen a lot of great (mostly free) live music here. I'm not a coffee snob but I really enjoy their vanilla latte. Great place to take friends who are visiting.

Yelp
I love this place. It makes me feel smarter and cooler than I actually am. Great outdoor seating and decent WiFi with the added benefit of books.

Yelp
Love this place so much! Still think of it fondly months later! If you need a space to work and yummy treats while doing so, this is the spot!

Yelp
I love the setting for Wolverine Farm and plan to hang out there much more often. My coffee experience there was subpar, since I asked for house coffee and they poured it out of a cannister and the coffee by the evening was Luke warm. At least the coffee beans are from the Bean Cycle which is one of my favorite coffee places of all time. Bean Cycle has in my opinion some of the best organic fair trade freshly roasted coffee beans. Again the ambiance is awesome and love the artists and performance venue there.

Yelp
Great coffe and (KAM)bucha . Small menu, but nice drink selection. We also got brownies which were thin and strange looking but tasted good. This business is not for profit publishing company.

Yelp
I love this place, the bookstore component is awesome! The coffee isn't very good though.

Yelp
Great funky spot and book shop to sip on coffee or tea and read. Upstairs is spacious and bright, I think it can be used for drinking and reading if not reserved for a class.

Yelp
My favorite place for a beverage. Everyone working is super nice and the place is very comfortable and charming.

Yelp
Great music and so nice to have drinks for all ages and choices! Great patio, friendly service, and beyond fresh food!

Yelp
The Coffee House/community center is incredible! We hosted our daughter's senior recital in the upstairs meeting space. The environment was perfect for the event. The space was private, well lit, comfortable, unique and affordable. The staff was wonderful to work with. We couldn't have been more pleased with our choice!

Yelp
An amazing place to hangout with friends, explore local art and books, or to get some work done. Joe is very friendly and genuine. While I was browsing the collection I watched them help fix a bike tire for a mother with two kids. Just overall great place with genuine people.

Yelp
What an amazing find...can't believe it's taken me this long to stop in. The staff is incredible and atmosphere is a hybrid of everything I like in a coffee house, bookstore and snackery (is that a word?). Incredible humus...will go back just for the that. Love outside seating. A must go to place.

Yelp
I don't know why I haven't reviewed my favorite place in Fort Collins yet! There's so much about Wolverine that makes it awesome! They are a vital part of the community offering a space for meetings, crafts, writing, weddings, art etc. there is even a little gift shop that features items from their letterpress and from local artists. You can pick from games to play while you sip on your drink. They have coffee, tea, beer and wine and I usually have a hard time choosing between coffee and the local craft beers. They serve simple but delicious soup/salad options between 11am-2pm. Often, there is free popcorn up for grabs too! The patio is spacious and the perfect place to hang out when the weather is nice!

Austin B.

Yelp
Great environment, nice drink selection, and plenty of good books to choose from. Only bar seating inside on the lower level but huge work space upstairs and outside. Plenty of shade.
google avatar

Yelp
Love it at Wolverine! Not only do they have great coffee, but also an excellent selection of beer and wine. I also love their big community room upstairs that they have generously shared with local nonprofits and small businesses so many times. My friend and I love to take our dogs for a walk on the trail nearby and end the outing on the patio at Wolverine. Adorable cards and knick knacks if you are in need of a gift too.

Yelp
This is a good place! the coffee and beer (and used books!) are all great. all kinds of events, and the staff is great. I wish the lunch schedule was a bit clearer (have to dig through a bunch of Facebook to find out when/if they have lunch) but that doesn't keep me from giving this place 5 stars.

Emily M.

Yelp
Great coffee. Wonderful place to relax and chat with friends! The owner Joe is super friendly and has curated an amazing shop. Also, it's non-profit, couldn't get much better than that :) Will be coming back.

Yelp
Fabulous place to hang out in general. On top of that, the staff is friendly, everyone who walks through the door is interesting and there's tons of connection to the community here. But maybe that's the most important thing - this place is a great anchor location for the community of Fort Collins.

Yelp
Cozy and quiet. Love that they recommend to bring your own coffee cup for to-go. Nice array of local beers.

Yelp
This place is awesome! We got a FoCo passport and decided to check this out for the BOGO drink special listed in the booklet. What a pleasant surprise we found. This place has a small bar with draft beers and also serves coffee and tea, in mason jars so it's reusable and reduces paper waste. It's also got tons of books available for purchase and even a free book bin. They have a wall of local items like soaps or candles for purchase as well. Customer service was top notch, especially on a Saturday evening. We were very impressed and will be back. They even have an upstairs area you can rent out for events and meetings. Definitely a hidden gem.

Yelp
This is my go-to spot any time of day. I love the bright indoor-outdoor space for coffee and getting some work done, or grabbing a drink in the evening. There's always something going on and they do a phenomenal job of supporting local artists, musicians, makers, and writers. I love Wolverine Farm!

Yelp
Great place to hang out and have a cup or pint. Laid back atmosphere and relaxing. Also a great venue upstairs to rent for gatherings. Plenty of bike parking for post ride hangout also. Local wares for sale from a selection of writers and artists.

Yelp
Beautiful space; great spot for a beer, coffee, tea, or some local kombucha. Really enjoy the local artistry and vibe here. 5 stars
