We love WSB, but...
A week ago, I bought a six-pack of Gulo Gulo IPL at Total Wine in Ann Arbor, as part of the WSB promotion.
When I got home, I discovered that my shopping bag was soaked, due to the separation of the top from one of the GG six-pack cans.
I immediately wrote to the WSB customer service website to explain what happened: having spent time with a family brewery in Bavaria, I knew that there might be a quality issue in their tinning process requiring adjustment.
After a week, I received no response to my "heads up" (neither a call nor an email), so I am sorry to suggest that the WSB wholesale or canning process lacks quality control, nor MORE IMPORTANTLY, customer responsiveness.
I hate to write this, but I have tried to alert you to your QC issues. Totoal Wine is now aware of your flawed canning process (as of yesterday, when I returned the split Gulo Gulo can to them, with the unopened cap separated from the can).
FYI, I tried to call WSB and also your sales team at Total Wine within an hour of my return home. Your reps would not take my call.
I love promoting local businesses, believe me. But, if no one seems interested in my warnings or observations, then perhaps the greater public will correct these serious quality issues. (Seriously, am I the only customer who bought WSB beer cans that leaked).
