Wonder Bar

An eclectic experience somewhere between a fever dream and outer space, Wonder Bar outclasses all other Domain bars when it comes to creativity and aesthetics. Central to other bars and restaurants, Wonder Bar is very accessible, especially when taking into consideration The Domain’s free parking. From the moment you enter it feels like you’re entering an experience, not just a bar. From space themed rooms to funky decorations and a prize wheel, everything feels detailed to the patron experience. At the main bar we ordered ‘That’s That Me Espresso’ and ‘A Little Treat’. Both drinks were very good, although they’re $14 a pop which is expected at a place like this. We also got a token to spin the wheel where it decides what you get. That part is very fun as the workers and people around get very into it, contributing to the fun atmosphere. The music is also good and if you like to dance it seemed like there were a good amount of people doing so there. Altogether, Wonder Bar is a very fun bar where energy and good drinks intersect and leave you wanting to come back to give that wheel just one more go. We highly recommend it to anyone going out for a night in The Domain.

Our experience was a bit of a mixed bag. While we had fun and made the most of our time, there were a few things that could’ve been better. The drink menu felt a bit limited and not as elaborate as we had hoped. Seating was also an issue — the upper deck was reserved for a private party, and most booths were only available with bottle service. As a party of two on a date night, we found there were very few seating options. Despite that, we did enjoy ourselves and appreciated the overall vibe of the place.

Wonder Bar ATX is pure fun and magic! Every corner is Instagram-worthy, the drinks are creative and delicious, and the vibe is full of energy. If you're looking for a playful, adventurous night out in Austin, this is the place to make unforgettable memories!

Party atmosphere for any person looking for a fun time. Cute props definitely everywhere an influencers dream. Service is top rate. Definitely spin the wheel... so many unique opportunities!! My friend spun and got "kicked out of the bar" which lead to her being escorted out by the bouncer but then given s birthday shot and s free t-shirt. A must stop in when visiting the Domain!

Always great service from the staff and fun vibes. Love that they regularly switch up the atmosphere and displays so its always exciting to see what you'll find when you get there.

Definitely more chill than Roseroom. Great spot to grab a drink and dance without being crammed or chat with friends. Drinks are relatively strong, ours came in a small patron bottle. Be sure to check out the hidden room! Multiple interesting spots for photo ops!

This is definitely an interesting bar. I went during the day for one drink to check it out and the place was pretty empty. I'm sure it's more of a nighttime vibe. The rooms and decorations are extremely unique and can't really be described other than everything gives you an opportunity for a social media picture moment. Mona Lisa and Baby Grogu was my favorite! The drink menu is super cool and the cocktails come out it really fun containers depending what you order.

Fun and crazy little bar that's absolutely a party bar. For the tourists and for the locals. Lots of stimulation with the eye going everywhere to take it all in. Door guy was amazing, fun, and cool. Bar service was ok. Drinks tasted like they were just dumped together.

Not worth the picture opportunity. We have been a few times, and drinks seem fun, but are water downed and over rated. I paid $14 for an 8 oz get lit bulb drink, that was as half full, no bulb lid and it was basically juice . Bartender was too busy trying to keep her boobs from popping out to make a good drink. Not happy to be there and you could tell. We felt bad for her People smoking on the back outside patio was a bummer. Save your money and skip this one...seems like a good idea, but nope not worth it. Also, the banana swings are very slick...lots of people slid off and hit the floor. Dress code is a joke and not enforced at all...not sure why tattoos are even on it. Post Malone wojld not be allowed in :(

The Wonder bar is so unique and fun for taking lots of fun pics with their art installations, always promising a great time. So much bling! They also keep changing the decor so it never gets boring or repetitive. My favorite part is the cocktail in a disco ball that you can take home with you!

Wonder at is the place to be. Never a bad vibe! I love bar poppin up with my friends for bar hopping.

Just like last time, we came here on an anniversary weekend. The decor is always fun, this time they had a Where Barbie goes to die large Barbie box you could stand in and take photos. There was a Kissing Booth in one room, dude in there was cleaning up after what he said was a very messy beer pong match. I see several reviews on here about the bad service and rude bouncers as well as the dress code sign. I agree the dress code is a little strict but we were dressed as werewolves and had no issue getting in. It sucks so many had bad experiences here as it seems like a fun place. I hate that for some people they are signaled out and treated poorly. It sours me on the place. Our time there was fine, we never stay long and always leave before it gets crowded. I admit the staff is hit or miss, some are very friendly and outgoing like the guy cleaning up and the lady at the wheel but the three bartenders this night all acted like we were a bother, and yes we tip both in cash and on the card so in two ways. They were not mean but you got the vibe they didn't like us early walk ins. But the spin the wheel was fun, Shana got a canned drink and I got a hat. We may be back but the reviews are really changing my opinion of this place.

I've always wanted to swing on the banana swings at Wonder Bar. This Instagram-worthy bar has a very cute rainbow and banana theme (suggestive, but not over the top). The cocktails are fun and not absurdly priced. The atmosphere was not as fun as I expected it to be, as it didn't seem like much of a dancing type of bar on a Friday night, despite the blasting music, lack of seating, and fun decorations. That is fine as we just sat on the banana swings outside and talked. The side photo room was really dingy. The smiley faces were unsettling, and it was dirty.

Cool place to go with a group of friends and great for photos. The drinks and cocktails are really good. The music and DJ are always on point. Service is quick.

Had a great time here!! Really fun place, loved the secret room to take pictures. Try the wheel game to win a prize and get a shot. I landed on I got kicked out the wonder bar, and received a shirt that said that. Really fun experience. Staff members were really fun.

This place is alright! We came here with some family and friends in the middle of a death hot day. You come here for the ambiance. There are so many stimuli in here. This is exactly one of those places that you see those aspiring influencers doing a little video in to show how much fun they're having. Maybe it's because we were there in the middle of the day, but it was fun but not extremely lively. There are so many activities and places for cute little photo ops, and there's even a hidden room with a 3D Twister game. They have a nice variety of drinks, and the staff is friendly and helpful. There's also an outdoor space, with swings, places to sit, and even more silly photo ops. If you dare, with the heat! Overall it was a pretty interesting place. I'd like to see it at night and see how the vibe changes. Check it out!

What is a middle-aged man to do on a first date with a beautiful woman after getting tanked during a good dinner at the Domain? Well go out in the waning hours of nighttime and find a bar that's full of life to reenergize the batteries of course! This was my first night at the Domain with my then first date and as of now girlfriend and we had just finished dinner and the restaurant we were at when the music was done for the night. She suggested we check out Wonder Bar which was relatively close to where we were. It's been a long time since I've had the "pleasure" of long lines and bouncers - you know the ones of which I'm thinking so I'm going to stop on that thought. Once we convinced him my dates bag was harmless, he "let use through b/c he knew people." Whatever. To tell you the truth, this is the first time I've been to an interactive and playful bar full of distractions in Austin. I'm not sure if more are out there since first of all I don't count adult arcades and I've only lived in South Austin for roughly two years but I dig these types of environments compared to the more generic clubs. In other words, I like the odd ball in the bunch and Wonder Bar is that place. I'm an open mic night comedian and I love watching people because they give me a lot of material. What is easily noticed is that the young adults of today are infatuated with their phones and Wonder Bar capitalizes on this fascination right from the jump. Upon entering there was a cubby with a unicorn to sit on with a crazy painted wall and reflected lights. Get out those phones kitties, because you'll be taking a lot of pictures with all the zany attractions. I won't elaborate further as all the pics should be telling enough. I was in there after 10pm on a Saturday night and the place had a large crowd but manageable. The bar is in the dead center of the facility with many areas to explore. The bartenders are pretty darn fast and nice. I didn't get a sense of favoritism, ie Joe Blow who looks like a millionaire or the supermodel gets served before me. Considering I'm well to do and my mom tells me I'm a male hunk perhaps I was the one getting preferential treatment but I digress... that was a joke by the way. My point is you'll be served your favorite poison expediently and with a reasonable price. The crowd was as diverse as Austin itself. People of all persuasions, interests and ethnicities were present and not once did I feel like anyone were interested in anything but having a fun night and very cordial. Moreover, there are quick lines to the restrooms, people are forgiving of innocent bumps and everyone I struck up a conversation with were smiles from ear to ear. Overall I dig this joint. It's a good departure from the norm but I wouldn't consider it a family atmosphere or something the elderly would enjoy. For the most part individuals with a fun demeanor, a great energy whose age falls between 21-60 and those looking to cut loose and have fun will get the most out of spending their time here. I highly encourage giving this place a chance on a busy night.

I don't go out in The Domain often, but I was meeting a friend who lives there so we walked up the main drag to find a spot. Everything was dead except for Wonder Bar, so we picked that spot. I asked for an Old Fashioned and got one of the worst Old Fashioneds I've ever had. But then I understood the bar's purpose and it's to get people fucked up. Stuck with tequila & soda, and their well is Espolon, so that worked better for me. My friend had a holiday drink in a disco ball that he said was great... I almost got it but he said it's really sweet and I hate that in a cocktail. Inside was way too noisy, as was every bar on that street. I know, I know, get off my lawn and all that. They did have a little front patio that worked for some people watching. But a $110 bar tab later and I wonder if we could have had the same experience for $20 on his balcony. Oh well.

Came on a Monday for a birthday celebration and the environment was great for that!, the place it's pretty colorful and fun, also a great service :)

Lots of spots to take cute pictures with colorful and funky decorations. I didn't get the drinks but it's a good place if you want something different from a regular bar or just to dance and have fun. Don't come on a tuesday though. Came across some odd people, but other than that I really enjoyed my time here and got lots of photos.

What a cool and fun find in Austin! I highly recommend this place, especially if you enjoy taking pics and videos! They have a LOT here! You can pay to spin the wheel for a drink or a prize or you can get a drink off their menu, We parked in the Target parking and walked over since it was free parking. There are several photo ops here and great fro is to choose from. We were able to find a table right away inside but there are swings to sit on outside but be cautious I slid right off because I was wearing leggings! The staff were not very warm and friendly but it was kind of busy and they still gave me decent service. I would probably return again but not because of anything but the ambiance. Entered a double elemination Beer Pong Tournament in which we lost to friends of the bar who had already been double eliminated but given a 3rd chance due to knowing the bar owner. We were then pushed back in the standings after going undefeated, only to lose to the team that should have never been there in the first place. Double elimination tournament: we lost once, they lost twice, but they make it to the finals? This place more rigged than a Mr. Beast giveaway. + beyond expensive drinks + L + Ratio Go to the Parmer Tavern for real fun we spent 71$ on drinks for a sugar water fish bowl, yea the bartenders were cute but it doesn't matter when they're fucking us on the other end, 0/10 this injustice deserves nothing less than 100 years of bad luck, the wonder bar more like the nepotism bar, absolute dumpster ethics on the Beer Pong management and who knows what other secrets they're hiding? Filthy. And this is illegal BTW, this isn't the last you'll hear from me/my defense team. The FCC will be in contact soon. blessings.

Very whimsical place to stop for a drink. I can assure the drinks are strong so you won't feel like you spent money for a watered down beverage. Very colorful and fun looking environment, fun music playing in the background. I say stop by on a break from the heat and enjoy.

I love this place for the colorful and playful decor! I used to visit the domain every weekend for this bar specifically. When the bar tenders were too busy to give you 1 on 1 time, the bathroom attendant would make up for it. She sold so much including sanitary napkins, perfumes, gum and even cigarettes. Anything you could need when out on the town. There isn't any food sold here but there are amazing drink options. My favorite drink is the Disco Bull. If my memory serves me, it was Bacardi mixed with Red Bull. This drink was dangerous cause you can't really tell how much your drinking when it tastes so good Not to mention it comes in a disco ball shaped cup. Also, the decor changes every month based on the season so you will never get bored of this place. Try to go here early cause it gets super crowded as the night continues. If you need space, there are 2 patio areas the get some fresh air.

Honestly, I loved it. I hate that I love gimmicky Instagrammable type establishments, but I am also the person most obsessed with taking photos of food (and myself) when I travel, so it makes sense. Wonder Bar has it all. A dance floor with a DJ spinning the most overplayed top 40 tunes and throwbacks to sing out loud or get down low. Side rooms that are decorated through the seasons to get the best Instagram shots and content for those Tiktoks. A giant wheel so you can live your Price is Right fantasies and win big, such as a warm gin shot or a bright pink plastic s*x toy. An outdoor patio that has banana swings because why talk to your friends at a normal table when you can sit side by side and take photos fake 'swinging' bc you can't even properly swing bc you'll hit the back wall? As long as you know what you're getting into, you'll have fun. Boyfriends & friend-zoned boys, show your worth by getting on 1 knee...and taking 100s of photos of your girl & all her friends. The cocktails are hit or miss. They're all sugary collegiate concoctions that are only enjoyable because they're served in really fun cups, such as a disco ball. My drink was barely edible bc the portions were either off or too much juice bc it was disgusting. The better deal is paying $11 to spin the wheel (versus $14) and you win the chance to get a cocktail or shot! Better deal and way more fun in my opinion. I went in October so it is all decked out for Halloween and I am very impressed with the level of decor and detail they put into it. Floor to ceiling and in every corner has Halloween decor and I know that ish ain't cheap! So kudos to them for getting the theme down correctly. Great pit stop before moving onto other bars in the area. Nice to see The Domain become a new nightlife spot in Austin!

It's a vibe and honestly A friend of mine had a drink and it was during this month, December. I don't remember what it was called but it was super good! It has the name beer in the name and it was topped with whipped cream in a Santa cup, and the ingredients had like vodka or something in it. Hopefully I know the name of the drink, cuz I want to come back to this place soon for my birthday!

Pretty cool bar in the domain, very colorful.. drinks were good and priced well for the amount and flavor. The bartenders were fun and helpful. Next time at the domain, I'll definitely go again.
