Welcome to Wonderlove, the Central Eastside’s Funky New Food Cart Pod | Eater Portland

"As the pod’s flagship pizza cart owned by Morrow and Beaudoin, Wondercat Pizza sources its wood-fired crust from Italian restaurant–turned–frozen pizza company Renata and lets diners customize a 12-inch pie or choose specialty pizzas like the Fun Guy with mushrooms, goat cheese, and balsamic glaze." - Janey Wong

The Heist Food Cart Pod Opens in Portland, With Two More on the Way | Eater Portland

"I’m looking forward to Wonderlove’s target opening over Labor Day weekend; built out of shipping containers, the pod will feature a triple-decker bar and party deck with downtown views, splashy murals, and a robust calendar of live music and special events, and is currently in the process of selecting its tenant carts." - Janey Wong

Should’ve looked at the reviews before coming here, I based my decision on instagram pics and the environment of the food cart pod! The menu on the truck says brick oven pizza… pictured below is what I got. It reminded me of a microwaved lunchable! The young man working there was incredibly kind and understanding when I voiced my concern, he deserves a raise!

Worse than frozen pizza and tiny. They didn't even cut it. Don't fall for there Instagram pics, pizza looked nothing like it.

We were treated very disrespectfully and told "that's not my problem" when we asked about the status of our order. The pizzas happened to be ready behind the counter at the same time. The employee even had the gull to jeer "congratulations!" at us as we threw our pizzas in the trash because they were so disappointingly small and poorly made. Congratulations to the owners! Because we will never come back again. Cannot recommend Wondercat Pizza less.

I have utterly no idea why the pizza here gets good reviews. I am definitely crap at cooking pizza at home and this was like I had cooked it. Too much cheese, stodgy thick, on a cardboardy chewy undercooked crust. My point of reference is hotlips which I consider 7/10 The food cart court is nice though.

Awesome wood fired pizza. Had the pepperoni and it was really good. And the ambiance at WonderLove food carts is superb!

Woodfired pizza should have char on the crust. The crust should be stretchy but crisp. The crust should have some smoke flavor embedded in it such that you can taste the smolder in a single bite. Woodfired crust should be able to support sauce and some cheese and some toppings but not more than the crust itself. I hope that helps.

Went for the classic pepperoni pizza with a side salad, and it was super yummy! Also has a rooftop to eat at, it did not disappoint!
