Wonder College Park

I got a sandwich with no sauce no lettuce and a banged up bun. Dipping sauce is missing for an order of wings. In my earlier visit the food was exceptional but this time around calling it disappointing is being generous. I mean how can you really forgot to add sauce onto a chicken sandwich.

I had delivery.. but the delivery was quick/ fast. But listen this salad was so fresh and packed with all the right stuff. The Spicy Tuna ohhhh was mouth watering!! Run don't walk and go get you some!!

Ok, positive things first: The service was lovely! Ready for pickup exactly when they said it would be and the cashier was very nice and welcoming. Also, with the coupon they sent in the mail, it was an insanely good deal. I got a “patty melt” (air quotes explained later) and fries and after the coupon it was only like $7! You can’t get food at McDonald’s for that price! The food was also pretty good; fries weren’t my personal fav, Marathon does better imho but solid deal even without the coupon. Now, for something considerably more disappointing. I got a patty melt, which costs a couple dollars than a burger. The online menu describes it being on a “buttered and griddled roll” and has a picture depicting exactly that; this is also what I consider to be the general concept most people have of a patty melt. When I unwrapped it, it was literally just an inside out burger bun that wasn’t even toasted. It was the saddest thing I’d ever seen (see attached photos). I really don’t mean to complain about a couple dollars, especially because of the deal that I got, but if you’re gonna charge me more for getting the patty melt and all you do is turn the bun inside out, I would’ve rather you just not have a patty melt on the menu and charge the price you want to for the burger. I mean, the original price without the coupon was already very reasonable! Very disappointing to get a patty melt and it’s just an inside out burger bun; it honestly kinda feels like a scam. In any case, this sends a clear message to the customer that you don’t care about them coming back, so I probably won’t after my coupon code expires (good for one more order). I shouldn’t be surprised that college park is just getting another trendy looking rip off food hall though, that’s kinda the vibe around here. ***(Edit) Response to Owner Response*** I appreciate your response to my review and your effort to show concern, but I must be honest that your response is only even more concerning to me. “I’m sorry we missed the mark”????! I apologize if this is a bit blunt but, that’s incredibly lazy. Are you telling me you meant for the patty melt to be like this and it wasn’t even a mistake?? I’m gonna take away another star now for your careless, probably ai-generated response to this and can assure you that you will not have a chance to redeem yourselves in the future. Can’t wait to see this place fail.

I'll only review the Streetbird eatery here as I ordered from there. The chicken wings had a distinctive smoky flavor that I absolutely liked. With the Maple Chile sauce, it was so delicious! However, the chicken sandwich will need some work in terms of flavor. I would prefer it to be more fresh (more greens) or else it's another Popeyes like sandwich. Garlic aioli works great as the sauce though.

I placed an order through the Wonder application. The delivery took a little longer than anticipated, which I understand can happen on a Saturday evening. The food itself was quite delicious. My only suggestion would be that I wish all food delivery drivers were equipped with insulated bags to help maintain the warmth of the food during transit, as mine arrived somewhat cool.

Not sure why so much hate. I have been here twice and me and my bf have had a really good experience. First order you can get 50% off. It's basically a compilation of various "ghost kitchens". The pickup orders have always been on time and staff has been nice. It is a bit overpriced but this is college park so it's kind of expected and the portions are decent. We have ordered a variety of different items. Brisket, wings, burgers, bowls, poke, pizza. The food itself is not bad , nothing spectacular but good enough. It's open late and offers a good variety all in one spot.

I have ordered several different items from the moderately priced "created by Wonder" menu and they were all great! Delicious and healthy food, good portions, reasonable prices, and fast (though I did go at a less busy time). The variety of choices of food and prices makes it easy for groups to make separate choices. I love the poke bowls and salads - and they are customizable. The people who work here are very nice. Be warned that there isn't a lot of space for dining in, but probably more people take out or get delivery.

Based on some of the early reviews, I was a little hesitant about trying. However, I was pleasantly surprised with my spicy tuna and salmon poke bowl. I ordered on the app and my order was ready per the estimated time. The food was delicious and I look forward to trying Wonder again
