The D.C.-Area Restaurant Openings in October | Eater DC

"Another Virginia location of the eclectic, one-kitchen food hall opens with free parking and the same speedy delivery it’s known for, featuring more than a dozen menus spanning everything from steak and barbecue to Detroit-style pizza. Opening day includes a 4:30 p.m. celebration with plenty of samples for curious diners." - Emily Venezky

2.5 Stars I discovered this place while scrolling on Instagram. The idea if of a food hall around the corner from home sounded like the greatest...and worst news ever lol. I downloaded the app (not required) and placed an order for pick up. **2 things to note: It's not where Google maps shows it is in the pictures usingthe address...it's no wonder I was clueless about this place. It's on the OTHER side of Dunkin Donuts on the end. Also, its not a traditional food hall at all. Think more along the lines of multiple ghost kitchens in one storefront with a few tables and seats.** As I was driving over I was wondering how the pick up process would be since I did multi "restaurant" orders and the app told me nothing once my order was confirmed. I got a text saying my order was ready and to come to the pickup counter. Ok, easy! I make it home and excitedly opened my order. Everything looks ok, but I notice everything is just lukewarm and barely giving off any aroma. I ordered the kimchi cheesesteak, onion rings, cornbread and pumpkin pie. The cheesesteak had ok flavors but the texture of the meat was unlike anything I've had before. It was almost mushy or something. Frozen steakum meat in the grocery store tastes better than this. It was very off putting. The onion rings were beer battered, my fav! So nice and crunchy. The cornbread was just ok and the pumpkin pie was nothing exciting either, very bland. With the cost of everything ringing in at almost $40, I hate to say I was very disappointed. After visiting and finding out what this "food hall" really is, I can't say I'm surprised. I surely wouldn't have given this a try and I most likely never will again. So I guess after all it was the best and worse thing to have this open up nearby, I'm just glad it wasn't in the way I expected...I now get to keep my money and my back wont be getting wide! Try it for yourself. I see a lot of good reviews regarding the food itself. Im side eyeing them, but hey people like what they like! ...Excuse the pics, I should have taken a picture before trying everything.

I loved the concept of this new food hall. I ordered my food via the app and it was ready in the time it was predicted. I purchased the Spicy Pepperoni Pizza and the Chocolate Pecan Pie which were both delicious. This location is more of a carry place, there are only a few tables if decided to eat your food there. I’ll definitely be back to try the Michael Symon’s offerings.

Overload on food options 20+ menus. Womder5 gives you 5 dollar off at checkout probably good for families that all something different. Limited seating suited for delivery and take out than dining . No one cleans the tables from what we can tell so they should at least puts some disposable wipes for self service. Food was just OK

Order at kiosk and wait, not many tables, floors were dirty and so were tables. Not sure if they have someone that cleans the dining area. Food was sub par, burger cold, boneless wings and chicken satay appeared to be heated upon order. The only item that was good was the poke bowl. Very small place, caters to carryout orders

Tried this place after receiving a mailer coupon for 50% off. Everything we ordered was fantastic. We ordered a variety of options including the short ribs, cheeseburger pizza, fries, and pecan pie. I was genuinely surprised at the amazing quality of delivery! The service was equally excellent with the food arriving on time and hot!

My first time trying. Disappointing. Maybe it's what I ordered. Smash burger extremely dry and flavorless meat, they forgot the sauce which supposedly came on the side and it had almost no cheese; 6 miniature "cupcakes" (but not really cupcakes just bites) so small they fit inside a cereal spoon and all tasted the same even though they look different (I threw 2 away) ; shisito peppers with Aleppo season were good. I read that the entree foods are pre- prepapred off site and finished at the restaurant. I might give an entree a try but if this simple meal is any indication I am not expecting much and, I won't spend any more money there. I spent $27 and except for the peppers, I didn't enjoy the food.

This new type of restaurant really caught my attention, and I’ve tried ordering food from them several times. Overall, I find that the food is prepared very quickly, and the cleanliness, packaging, and overall atmosphere of the restaurant are all quite good. Most importantly, I feel that they keep improving each time.

Simple, clean, and relaxing place that offers a variety of food. Kids' menus are available, too. We tried the soft tacos, brisket, pork ribs, and a few sides. They are favorful.
