Riverwest’s retro diner attached to Art Bar turns out a straightforward Dream Burger—two patties, American cheese, lettuce, tomato, onions, and seasoned butter on a toasted bun. Covered by local editors, it’s a neighborhood hang where artists, families, and night owls cross paths. Brunch hours plus nightly dinner keep it flexible.

I've been to Wonderland a couple times now, and have enjoyed the experience both times. Friendly staff, great food, cool atmosphere. We haven't had an issue getting a table when we had a party of 4. Even the standard burger is nice and juicy, and full of flavor, and the gluten free bun it came on was better than your average gluten free bun. I was going to take pictures of my food, but I ate it too fast!

We visited specifically for one dish, but unfortunately, they were out of it. I ended up ordering the chicken sandwich and requested the sauce on the side, but it arrived with mayo on it—which I really dislike. I also found it odd that there was an extra charge for a side like fries when ordering a sandwich. The decor and artwork were definitely cool, but we were seated next to a very loud and disruptive group, which made the experience less enjoyable. My mom had the burger and thought it was just average. Overall, I don’t think we’ll be returning. Edit: I have attached a photo of the sauce that came on my sandwich. I had asked for no blue cheese and the hot sauce on the side but the sauce on the sandwich doesn't appear to be blue cheese nor did it taste like it. Also, such attitude is very unprofessional from a business.

Google
I paid ~$22 for the farmer's skillet shown (I added avocado) with tax and tip. Flavor was incredible. It was also very filling - avocado was a good portion as well. I enjoyed the vibes of this place as well, and the staff was great. Definitely recommend!

Stopped in here on a whim on a random Friday for brunch and were blown away! This place deserves all the support it can get. Tasty food, friendly service and vintage diner vibes - highly recommend! We had the biscuits and gravy and the chicken cordon bleu sandwich, both were excellent

New favorite. Most extensive brunch menu I have ever seen. Plenty of vegan choices- but also things for meat eaters. Cool place, service was top notch

This is definitely a wonderful restaurant. We went on a Saturday morning and were greeted by the most gracious host who allowed us to sit wherever we wanted. Kevan was our waiter, and he just didn’t seem very interested in us as customers. He wasn’t very friendly or patient. He really made us feel like we were always bothering him which didn’t make us feel comfortable at all. Thankfully our food was good to us. We had biscuits and gravy and a classic breakfast which included sausage, rye bread toast, eggs and hash browns. We also got a slice of pecan pie to go. Wonderland is a wonderful place for some wonderful food. I hope Kevan have brighter days!!!!

Google
I recently went to Wonderland Restaurant at 732 E Burleigh St, in Milwaukee, WI. Wonderland is a very nice, clean restaurant with many interesting items on the menu. I ordered the chimichiri type chicken with potatoes. The chicken and potatoes were delicious and I took half of the ample amount home with me. The service was very good and attentive and was able to answer any questions I had with the order.

Google
Long wait for Sunday Brunch but we went next door to Art Bar and had delicious bloody Marys while we waited. They make their mix from scratch and it is excellent. Wonderful service and love the vintage vibe of the place!! Only one suggestion: the ratatouille omelet came with vegetables that were barely sauteed. Since ratatouille is a long - cooking dish, I was imagining roasted vegetables, not just-chopped ones that saw one minute in the pan. It's basically a fresh veggie omelet.

Yelp
For my first time at Wonderland Diner, I had a pretty good experience. It would be more like 3.5 stars, but that's not an option, so I'll round up. Our server seemed less than enthused to be waiting on us, but it didn't hamper the experience too much. For a Friday evening, I was surprised to see it rather empty. Nonetheless, the decor was cozy yet eclectic and the playlist was relaxing. For beverages, my dining companion ordered a Diet Coke -- not much to comment on there. I went with an iced tea, but something was off about it. It tasted almost dirty in a way that's hard to explain. No amount of lemon helped, and I couldn't stomach more than a couple sips. I'd skip it, if I were you. My dining companion opted for an order of six wings with the Creole Dry Rub and Buttermilk Aioli, along with a basket of fries. The wings were fall-off-the-bone tender and the rub was flavorful. The French fries were a little bland, but nothing some table salt couldn't fix. I went with the Tuscan Chicken Mac and was blown away. The chicken was tender and well-seasoned, the spinach and cherry tomatoes added some color and texture, and the mac n cheese itself was delightfully gooey and creamy. The portion size is massive and I took home about half of it. I'd order it again in a heartbeat. Our bill came out to a little over $50, including tip. Seems maybe a tad pricey, but you'll be finding similar prices at any casual sit-down restaurant these days. I plan on making another stop to Wonderland Diner in the future -- maybe brunch?

Yelp
I would like to preface this review by saying that the food is great! However, the service lately has been, shall we say, prickly. I have been coming here as part of a weekly social event for the past few years, as it was nearby. We usually go as a group of 4-8, sitting in the large room in the back.y favorite items to order are the Wally Bowl and Tofu Wings. To be honest, every item I've ordered has been wonderful (no pun intended). The ambiance is cute and kind of quirky, a perfect reflection of the neighborhood. Starting early this year, the main server whom we have had for years has lately shown reluctance in seating a large group without a reservations, even though there is no requirement. In the event more people show up (for example, 8 people instead of 5), she would complain about serving us, citing lack of tables. There has never been a lack of tables, as we usually arrive between 6:45-7pm. Today, she flat out refused to seat our group, so we left for another restaurant. Needless to say, Wonderland has lost a loyal group of patrons.

Yelp
Love the cozy diner ambiance in here... not very crowded even on a Saturday night! Brussel sprouts: 3/5 - good flavour but beware they are soft/ soggy when I expected them to be cripsy. Not worth $11. Vegan reuben- 5/5 so good - love the tiger sauce and garden mayo. Vegan Mac- 4/5 - really liked this but I gave it a 4 because i would call it coconuty pasta not like mac n cheese at all haha. And the side container seems like not that much for $6. Bahn mi- 3.5/5 - too much bread not enough veggies, tofu is bland. Overall love it here and they have delicious Vegan friendly food ! will be back to try other things on the menu

Yelp
We stopped in for breakfast after a round of golf at Lincoln Park. The breakfast sandwich here is amazing. The eggs in general are just really good. They are fluffy and flavorful. My homemade biscuit fell apart a bit while eating but it was delicious. I tacked on the pulled ham to the sandwich which was good. My boyfriend's breakfast included a couple sausage patties that we both loved. We definitely agreed we would be back. The space is bright and colorful, comfortable chairs. Service was good, no one hovering over you all the time. 10/10, Will come back.

Yelp
Great diner feel inside with the clanging plates, delicious aromas and sweet servers' smiles! The Bloody Mary is citrus-laced spicy ecstasy, and I wish I wouldn't have shared the divine breakfast bread with everyone. Next time we will each get our own! The eggs were perfectly to order and they let you butter your own toast, which I love! But in addition to traditional diner morning fare, there are awesome vegan and gluten free options like the beet tofu scramble and lentil sausage. We loved every bite!

Yelp
Made a last minute decision to visit Wonderland Diner and did not look what to expect. The food was delicious, portions were bigger than expected, and the people were kind. I had the shroom burger and my bf had the fish fry he was surprised at the amount of perch that came on the plate. It was quieter when we showed up but by the time we left they were buzzing with customers. Great spot for a nice meal where you won't be left hungry!

Yelp
he Foundation. Where we had the Rum Barrel (Brian), Lonely Virgin (Beth and I), Next will be Wonderland Milwaukee to eat. Wonderland looks to be a nice place. Food ordered, soup of the day Jambalaya, Meatloaf, Shortribs, and Chicken pot pie (2). Well the place is good, the food does not come out fast, so you know it's freshly made. Come back, hmmm. I just don't know. However, we do want to come and try the fried chicken on Saturday and Sunday. Our server was great !

Yelp
I love wonderland! It's so cozy and homey. I go there when I'm in a mood for something comforting. Retro diner vibes, I love the prices, the portions, and they play good tunes. Vegan, vegetarian, gluten free options too!

Yelp
Such a cute diner! All their menu items are available as vegan/vegetarians, so a great place to come with your friends if there's a mix of dietary preferences/requirements. Came for a Saturday brunch and had no wait. I got the chicken & waffles which, after trying everyone elses dish, is arguably the best dish on the menu (*if you eat meat). Super crispy breaded chicken, waffles were soft and fluffy. I'm not sure what was in the gravy but it was very hearty. Some fried jalepenos & onion jam to make it a lil more ~fancy~. I was starving when I got there and ordered with my eyes, aka I added some hash browns, which were very crispy and I think cheesy???. I ended up taking half of it all home and eating the rest for dinner! I also tried the Monte Cristo which was very large. The sandwiches don't come with fries/chips/hashbrowns. Street parking. Decently priced.

Yelp
Overall a very cute breakfast spot and particularly lovely to have no wait on a Sunday morning! This was kind of a last minute addition to our weekend plans but we popped in for breakfast Sunday morning and were glad we did. Service was friendly and attentive. My food, the corned beef hash, was very good. My boyfriend's food, the chilaquiles, were only ok and were kind of a small portion for this particular dish. I appreciate they have really flexible menu options for dietary needs too, including gluten free and vegan options. I wouldn't necessarily consider this a "must go" but I think it's a great neighborhood spot and I'm glad I went. If you're in the area and looking for a solid breakfast option, go for it!

Yelp
I love this little diner! Situated conveniently right next door to Art Bar (in fact, the same owners as Art Bar), Wonderland Diner serves up delicious diner food in an adorably classic diner environment. We stopped by for dinner on a Sunday evening and were able to be seated straight away. Due to their proximity and association with Art Bar, they share Art Bar's cocktail and beer menu. Due to this lucky arrangement, I was able to begin my experience with a negroni. It was basic, big, and tasty. For my dinner, I got the veggie polenta which was absolute cozy comfort food. It was perfect for a cold winter's evening. The service was lovely, and loved at the end of our meal we were able to take our cocktails right on over to Art Bar to continue our evening. Get to it!

Yelp
Really comfortable place. Our group liked the eclectic feel- and with the conjoined Art Bar we were pretty excited to partake in happy hour. The drinks were delicious and did make us happy. Our group didn't know what to order- beginning with their apps menu- so we ordered all that were available. Disappointed that they were out of Brussel sprouts (was the definite chosen app)- but with the recent snowfall, it's understandable when deliveries don't happen.... Our group of 4 loved our waiter- hip and relaxed...let us linger, laughed with us and was absolutely enjoyable. We loved the (chicken) wonderwings and chose the Godzilla sauce. Spinach artichoke- yum, yup! Tempura veggies- were also a hit. Crispy, nice cuts of veggies. Love! Deviled eggs - daily 3 diff flavors...we enjoyed two more than the third- but I couldn't tell you what they were (sorry). Creamy and tasty. While eating- the fresh desserts were being cut and boxed... so of course, had to partake in those. Pineapple cream cheese pie, coconut pie, and mixed berry crumble- (selections change daily). We were full and satisfied. Overall- we would all come back... and will look forward to some of the dinner items (who knows - maybe we'll order all those next time)

Yelp
Connected to the Art Bar, this diner has a funky vibe and serves great casual fare. They have booze, too!! Service is always fast and friendly. Love their salads- but the other dishes I've had have been tres tasty.

Yelp
Wonderland has become my preferred go to for good eats in the Riverwest area where we reside. We typically sit out front and order up the goods while chilling with our pooch. Between the service and the food along with being reasonably priced you just can't go wrong. Brunch or dinner the food is on point. My favorite item hands down is the chicken and waffles. On Saturday morning especially in the winter I'll come here with the pooch after shoveling the drive and sit in Art Bar. You can setup shop here and order food direct from Wonderland while chilling with your pooch. Gets no better than that. As long as Wonderland keeps handling their business like they've been, we'll keep coming back!

Yelp
They had special food items on different days of the week. We were there on their burger war day and they had a couple interesting burgers to choose from. The waiter was able to answer questions very patiently. We had the sweet and spicy pork burger, which they said contained fried pineapple. It was surprisingly very good, the buns were toasted and crunchy, not the soft kind you'd expect from any other burger, and the right mix of spicy and sweetness really hit the spot. Too bad it wasn't on the regular menu, 'cause the tenderloin panini was rather average. It's also connected to the art bar next door, so probably a nice hang out spot for locals as well.

Yelp
Outstanding. It's an adorable little diner-like restaurant. Very artsy, very low key. EXCELLENT food! I ordered a Bloody Mary and it was absolutely perfect!!! My breakfast selection was the eggs Benedict. It was one of the best eggs Benedict I've had in a very long time. I also got an ice coffee and a cannoli cheesecake to go. For 3 adults and a kid, it was $82. It brought bay was very reasonable, especially for the quality of the food.

Yelp
This was simply a random attempt at trying a restaurant not too far from home. I ordered the Wally Bowl with shrimp, and it was outstanding. I think my dietitian would approve.

Yelp
Atmosphere: You walk in and go up to the counter and place your order and grab a number and sit down. They then bring you your food. You grab tableware and water. Lots of seating. Food: I ordered the salmon benedict. It was decent and everything was cooked well, nothing memorable and not a ton of flavor but it was a good portion. They had a good selection of vegan/vegetarian options on the menu which was nice. Service: Helpful explaining the menu at the counter. Good place to bring people who have restrictive diets.

Yelp
Very fresh food! The chicken banh mi was pretty good but could have been a bigger chicken size but the sauce and veggies added a bit more freshness to make the difference along with fries! I would try other items on the menu. Around 13-16$ a plate. Did take a little bit longer than I expected for the food but overall good experience!
google avatar

Yelp
Yes, it says diner in the name, but make no mistake: this is no run of the mill diner food - this is elevated comfort food served in a hip, relaxed setting. The menu is extensive and serves creative fare for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Everything on the menu is interesting and you really can't go wrong. On our visit we got the Corned Beef Hash which was amazing: the corned beef was tender and flavorful and the tiger sauce took it to another level. The chilaquiles were also a hit. Will be coming back to try the lunch and dinner options. They have a Tuesday Burger-wars featuring two specialty burgers that face off against each other with the winner returning on Wednesday and then squares off against another burger the following Tuesday. Art Bar is connected next door and is full of amazing local art, hosts live music and you can eat from the menu at Wonderland there which is cool. All in all a great spot to eat and drink around the clock!
google avatar

Yelp
I am vegan and enjoyed the vegan options on the menu. I tried the tofu wings (Creole dry rub and royal bbq) as an appetizer and was extremely satisfied; they were cooked to perfection. I had the Shroomville Hot Vegan for my entree and again, throughly satisfied. The only thing that I did not particularly care for was the vegan mac and cheese. The staff were extremely kind and the atmosphere was very chill and relaxed. Overall experience as a vegan would be rated 9.5. They have plenty of vegan options, sauces included.

Yelp
Wonderland has been on my list of places to try for a while now! A corner spot in riverwest next to Art Bar! Right in the heart of Riverwest! First off I loved the vibe inside, it gave cool midwestern diner vibes with a hint of Riverwest, if you don't know what that means, let's just say unique and cool! I took my mom here on a Sunday right after they opened at 4 PM. Our server was super friendly and welcoming, he was social and informative, had a great personality and made us feel comfortable and welcomed (Charles). Now let's talk about the food, not only did all of it come out super quickly, but it all came out hot! I was so impressed how quickly the chefs whipped it up back there. Every single dish was delicious and the menu was so good that I need to come back again and try more. The portions were generous also! Mouth watering. The menu has so many good items to choose from!
google avatar

Kyle H.

Yelp
Came here for dinner for a group meetup and Wonderland is a cool looking relaxed place for dinner (and brunch) next to Art Bar. Order at the counter then take your number and be seated. Appetizers were really good, and my main dish was the meat Meatloaf, and I look forward to returning to try other dishes! Brunch looks awesome, and I'm looking forward to frequent visits to Wonderland and Art Bar in Riverwest!

Yelp
I had a wonderful experience with a pick up order. They were very busy, but gifted me a delicious chocolate brownie for my troubles. My burger was delicious and my daughter enjoyed her chicken sandwiches as well. I definitely will be going back.
google avatar

Faith B.

Yelp
This was a recent dinner choice for a friend and me. He'd been many times, but it was my first visit. The decor is warm and fun. The service was very friendly. The menu is not too broad, but it has plenty of vegetarian and vegan friendly options. My mushroom panini with goat cheese was excellent. It's adjacent to Art Bar, so you can grab a drink there and food here for a balanced evening out.
google avatar

Natalie A.

Yelp
Food was okay, lacked some flavor and was not very unique. Service was good and waiter gave us free dessert.
google avatar

Jessica J.

Yelp
Okay ya'll understand that I want to love this Diner. And actually, there is a lot to love about it - the best part being the atmosphere! So unique with the colors and aesthetic, and there's a very cool/relaxed feeling overall. It's nice to go for brunch somewhere that's not hectic. I've been here before and didn't think the food was anything to write home about, but I'm always game to try places many times. I think it was my fault for choosing the wrong menu item this time, because it just wasn't my vibe. After lots of indecision, I went with the garden skillet. I guess didn't realize that meant egg-free so it was to my surprise when I received tofu scramble. Though I think it's awesome that they have so many vegetarian/vegan options available, tofu just really isn't my thing. The taste throws me. There was a fair bit of flavor in the rest of the dish though, made up of mushrooms, bell peppers, green onions, spinach, hash browns, and tomatoes. Everything was smothered in some good spices and a (very interesting) gravy of sorts m. All-in-all the dish was fine, but I probably wouldn't order it again. My husband on the other hand seemed to really enjoy his corned beef hash. Wonderland has a menu full of different breakfast and lunch items (some that I'd love to return and try out). Classics like eggs benedicts, breakfast burritos, and chilaquiles. Plus cleaver sandwiches like bornstein, portobello panini, and royal barbecue chicken. The diner is tucked away in a quite Riverwest neighborhood, has easy parking, plenty of seating (both in-door and out), and has rotating desserts that apparently pretty darn tasty. Perhaps I'll treat myself on my next visit!

Yelp
The service was outstanding. We were greeted upon entering by Ben, and he was also our server. He was fantastic . We stopped in for the Sunday brunch, around 2 pm. We both ordered the Chicken fried steak. This was our first time visiting this establishment. We definitely will be returning, as we saw many items on the menu that looked enticing. The CFS was breaded with corn meal. The meat was very tender. I strongly recommend. Can't wait to return.
google avatar

Yelp
Went to the Wonderland Diner for a morning breakfast, the ambiance was pretty cool, it had an old time feel to it. The service was as solid throughout, constantly refilling our coffees and waters. The Food was decent, probably a 7/10. It was just a little bit over the top, I wish they had kept it simple. Overall a solid spot.

Yelp
Yay! Wonderland is back open for takeout during the pandemic! I'm so thrilled to have this neighborhood spot back. They revamped the menu and have lots of great things, including their pies and cookies. You can call in your order for pick-up or go inside to order. Masks are required and very limited seating is available (mainly for waiting for your order). It's all spread out and they're taking social distancing seriously. Same friendly and fast service as before. I was excited that they had tofu wings (along with regular wings) and tried the recommended honey sriracha flavor with an aioli sauce. DELICIOUS! I ordered the banh mi with tofu (you can also get chicken or pork) and that was also fantastic. It had a really tasty spicy sauce and the pickled veggies were excellent. I will definitely get that again. There are many more things I want to try - the Cubano, the burger, the tuna melt and other seasoned tofu wings. Also, I saw a s'mores cookie that was the size of a personal pan pizza, so I'll have to go back for that!
google avatar

Juliana J.

Yelp
Very cute, plenty of seating, and tons of vegan options. The standout for me was the barbecue tofu wings with the vegan spread they had as dip-- those were absolutely amazing and delicious. Regular vegan mac n cheese was decent-- I really enjoyed the unique shape of their pasta! The fofu-bano sandwich was decent as well. Prices are awesome, from the looks of the menu it seems like it would be a great breakfast/brunch spot.

Yelp
I meant to give Wonderland a 5-star rating a few weeks ago, but for some reason (fat fingers, brain fart, excess alcohol, etc .... it showed up as two stars... needs to be fixed
google avatar

Yelp
This hidden gem is my new favorite place to go to for a Friday fish fry. For $14 you get 3 pieces of pollock, cole slaw, fries, potato pancakes, or house made chips, marble rye, and your choice of soup (pulled pork chili or clam chowder). The wings here are absolutely some of the best in the city, I recommend the house dry rub, but every flavor combo friends and I have tried have been superb! They confit the wings in duck fat, super juicy fall off the bone! I had a banh mi with pork belly and it was phenomenal. The Cubano is another favorite. For people who don't eat meat, they have a ton of vegan options. If you've never been here go and check it out!
google avatar

Austin R.

Yelp
Wonderland is one of my favorite places to stop in for great food or takeout. I love their tofu wings and their wide selection of desserts that rotate. Brunch, dinner, and their fish fries are all super delicious. Stop next door in Art Bar to see their newest collection of artwork.

Yelp
The lady and I were hungry so I said let's go out for breakfast because I have a place in mind that I can just tell will be god. The place is cool casual with a 50s diner theme that was cool with big windows in front with lots of natural light. The menu is one of those menus that is not too big with well thought out items and what caught my eye was the cornbread waffles and chicken with jalapeño strings, who does that. They also have baked goods and pies which they are proud of because a sign out front says leave room for pie. Our server was so cool at letting us linger before and after breakfast while talking and just enjoying the place with no pressure to leave. The cornbread waffles with chicken looked amazing and presented nicely I thought. The cornbread waffles were so different and I would start eating waffles more because I just loved them in that form and cooked perfect. The sausage gravy was minimal like the onion jam for flavors and didn't over power the great waffles and chicken. The chicken was two thighs with a very crispy coating cooked perfect with moist meat. I could completely tell by the menu and the pictures that I was going to like any meal that I had here and they didn't disappoint so I would definitely go back for more of the menu.
google avatar

Michele T.

Yelp
Take out chicken and waffles. It looked like the waffle had a bite taken out of it because the way it was torn in half. Very sloppy presentation.

Yelp
Wonderland Diner is a great little spot in Riverwest! Was looking for a brunch place over the holidays with some girlfriends, and one mentioned we should go to "that little place next to ArtBar". Well, that little place is Wonderland!! There are plenty of seating options - booths, tables and some counter seating, and the ambiance definitely had that cozy diner feel which is perfect for the neighborhood it sits in. The menu is HUGE! Most of us ordered breakfast, but one ordered the Nashville Hot Chicken sandwich, while also didn't look disappointing! I ordered the omelet, and the sausage gravy that was over the top of it was everything you want sausage gravy to be and then some ! Sourdough toast was amazing, and the crispy hash browns and homemade jam really made my brunch experience excellent. My only recommendation would be for them to invest in an espresso maker to be able to offer lattes, cappuccinos and the like as their only coffee offering was black coffee, but that's being nitpicky! Go to Wonderland! You won't regret it!

Yelp
I've visited Wonderland Diner twice, once for dinner and once for brunch. For dinner I ordered the Champ's Meatloaf. It was good, but fell short of expectations. The made-from-scratch mashed potatoes and gravy were also good, as was the side of carrots. I was envious of the Turkey Pot Pie my dinner buddy ordered. I'l order that next time. The star of my dinner was the Curry Chili with tempeh. I'm not vegetarian, so I didn't think I would be so excited about it, but man that was so flavorful! The Chocolate Peanut Butter Pie was god, but I didn't get any chocolate flavor in the filling, and I don't think the light chocolate syrup drizzle on top of the whipped cream earns it a place in the name of the dessert. Our server was fine, but I was planning to order bakery to go, but never asked us if we wanted anything else before bringing us the bill, and he never came back after he dropped off the receipt after payment. Wonderland missed another sale that night. While visiting for dinner, I reviewed the breakfast menu and could not wait to visit for breakfast/brunch, so I went back 4 days later and ordered the chicken and waffles plus a side of hash browns. THAT meal met and exceeded my expectations! The cornmeal waffles were light, and the breading on the chicken thighs was nicely seasoned and crisp. The sausage gravy was good, but I would have liked more of it on the plate, and the onion jam was my jam! Wow, was that amazing! The jalapeno straws were a unique touch that actually complemented the dish nicely and were well-prepared, crisp and not overpowering. While my chicken and waffles dish was very filling, I'm really glad I ordered the hash browns because they were so damn good! They were perfectly seasoned and perfectly cooked, among the very best hash browns I've had. I also ordered a Bloody Mary for brunch, and while it was not the most flavorful I've had, it was good in its own right and came with a Rhinelander "shorty" chaser, so bonus points there. Our server on this visit was much better, very engaged and attentive. I'm glad a place like this exists, with good food at a a good value. I will be back to explore more of the menu!

Yelp
Wonderland Diner is a wonderful little diner in Riverwest. It feels vintage yet modern, with a lot of the seating that looks like it belongs in a 1950s diner. I loved the eclectic aesthetic walking in. The food is VERY good. For making most everything from scratch, the pricing is extremely reasonable. My friend and I came for dinner (missing a generous breakfast/brunch menu by only two hours!). Out favorite bit was a buttermilk dressing that makes ranch that you buy at the grocery store seem dull. Overall, I thought this place was AMAZING! I'll be back!

Yelp
Wonderland is a brand new place in Riverwest, owned by the same people as Art Bar. The space is beautiful - I love the mural & the great use of color. They're open for breakfast, lunch and dinner - our visit was at dinner. The menu is short, but filled with classic options along with a good amount for vegetarians and vegans. Prices are really reasonable - I don't think there is much over $15. I had the turkey pot pie, which comes with a homemade biscuit topping. That sold me because Ron R said their B&G was amazing. I really liked my dish - the biscuit was indeed amazing and there was lots of meat and veg. I do wish they had cooked the carrots longer as they were a bit crunchy. The Mister had the Nashville hot chicken sandwich which was excellent - and their fries are great too. Service was nice but they're still getting their flow down. My meal came with soup (and the Mister ordered soup) which didn't arrive until after we were done eating. That was too bad because I had little space for what turned out to be an incredibly delicious acorn squash bisque - definitely get this! Lots of beer options available - again, prices are reasonable. I definitely want to come back and check out breakfast.

Yelp
The food is GREAT! The service is a step above the food. My wife and I always try to find Kevin. He's knows everything about the menu and he is the best. We love Wonderland, my favorite is the chicken and waffles. (I'll let everyone try it for themselves) My wife loved this meatloaf omelette they use to have. Now her go-to is the chicken fried steak. Awesome place with an old school feel.

Yelp
Chicken and waffles were really good. Chicken wasn't the thickest but was very juice still. Big chunks of sausage in the gravy. Fried jalapeños and syrup added really good contrast. Service was a bit slow but well worth it.

Yelp
Love this place! It has an old-school diner charm, but updated. Great menu; great service and great food. I highly recommend the Bornstein, Wonderland's take on the traditional corned beef sandwich. Oh yeah, did I mention they have great drinks, alcoholic, and virgin? You better you better you bet!

Yelp
Decent food. Service was good. You should probably pay in cash. My friend got her card skimmed here.

Yelp
The service was slow it took forever for me and my mom to get our food. Overall the ambiance was nice but too noisy inside, I could barely hear myself think.

Yelp
I keep hearing about this place froM so many people so decided to check it out with some friends for Sunday brunch. We got there promptly at 9 when they open to avoid the brunch rush and got a table no problem. There was like 3 other tables with the same idea. Our waiter was so friendly and really provided great service. Although the food was great, I think what really stood out to me was the excellent service we received. Our waiter helped us choose drinks and provided food recommendations...wish I could've remembered his name to call him out in here. Anyhow, I had the lentil burger with fries, my friends ordered the chicken and waffles and some sort of corn beef hash skillet. All of it was great! I probably should've gone with the chicken and waffles but I wanted to try one of their vegan dishes. I thought the lentil burger was great! It was a huge patty that was crispy on the outside and soft on the inside topped with a vegan cheese spread and greens and tomato.
