Beyond Gross… Just plain foul. Embarrassingly bad. We ordered meals for my wife, 2 children and myself. Nothing was good. Nothing was hot. Nothing was edible. The service was insulting and the joint was dirty. I will never be back and you should never try it.

I got the chicken sandwich. The breading was awesome. Just lacked a little spice or salt, so I can't give it five stars.

I love this new spot! I got the spicy fish sandwich with a side of fried bokchoy and it was delicious! Went back and got the same thing plus a couple extra sides, and everything came out hot and super tasty. I love that it’s kid & pup friendly, and how cute the trays are that everything is served on. Don’t sleep on the frozen drinks either they are 👌🏼 lovely.

Everyone needs to know about this place! Was at my friend’s house and needed a quick bite… unexpectedly walked into this gem… I highly recommend !! Great food and experience. Mercy Grace was the sweetest, and had great recommendations. The quality and taste of the food was amazing.. especially for the price ! Run don’t walk (esp to the happy hour)!

Chef Seth did a amazing job with the spicy chicken tenders/nuggets fries and biscuit bites with a special sauce to dip the bites in also as always the server/bartender Grace was amazing she is such a delight she makes your eating experience wonder all smiles and friendly laughs from the food to the atmosphere this place is awesome hands down!!!

Solid spot. I ordered the Wonderland which is their vegan chick-pea sandwich and my wife had the salad, add chicken. We also got the rice fritters and fried smash potatoes for sides. We enjoyed everything, however we’re let down on the salad. The exterior atmosphere was lovely, and excited for them to add to the energy of restaurants on tchoup.

The food was delicious! I especially enjoyed the fried pickles. My husband loved that the sandwiches were so big. I love that there’s a culinary garden in the outdoor space 💕 Fans, pets allowed and just overall great customer service!

Great service, great food! Crispy and fluffy chicken and dish sandwiches, light and yummy! Jonathan took his time with our order, answered our many questions about the food and bar - gave us great and honest recommendations. Loved the mango daiquiri (with a healthy splash of Tito’s ;)

We got fish sandwiches, chicken sandwiches, and fried smashed potatoes to go, and ate in Grit's Bar half block away. The food was delicious. Check it out.

I was very excited to try this place with my young kids but sadly was very very disappointed. The outside of this restaurant appears playful and magical but unfortunately missed the mark with the general ambience on the inside. We walked in ( family of 4) and was not greeted or anything. I just chose a table and went to order upfront. First time ordering but the lady taking the order wasn't very helpful in giving me some recommendations but I guessed that it's either fish or chicken so can't go wrong. I ordered the kids meal ( chicken and the fish selection) for my kids and I had the fish sandwich and my husband selected the chicken plate. The food came out pretty quickly which was nice but sadly the chicken needed longer. My husbands chicken was raw. I told someone who worked there and they just took the plate and said they will cook it longer. The chicken plate was underwhelming. No apologies. So we all ate except for my husband. The kids meal is very very tiny ( I'm talking one tiny little chicken breast) and the kids veg was terrible as sadly my 4 year old is not into bok choy. The smashed potatoe was nice but I really wished they served fries - kids just love fries! My fish sandwich was nice. I had no complaints. It's was spicy and fresh. Was it a dish that was memorable -.... Nope. They have coloring pictures and crayons for the kids which is nice. They also have plain vanilla ice cream with sprinkles for the kids too which is nice. I'm not sure if I expected too much but I was really disappointed eating here.

Went on a Sunday at 1pm and it was completely empty. The person taking the order was socializing with a co-worker and did not acknowledge we were ready to order until he finished. The portions are small for the price but the fish pieces are fresh. I also liked the biscuit. The vegetable side was bitter. We ordered a side of potatoes and they included several burnt pieces, non-edible. Total meal for 2 without 1 drink was $40 which is on the higher side for the quality. We sat outside for the dogs but the place looks very much nicer inside. Decor was really nice, but bathrooms were not clean. In summary, did not hate it, but did not love it. I think the restaurant has a lot of potential but needs some adjustments..

Great fast casual restaurant that has plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. The menu is curtailed to specific items and with each one considered specifically in good execution. I like the menu of sides that they are different and veggie focused. The vegetarian option is fried chickpea patty was delicious and great with the sauce. Very much enjoyed the bok choy and can't wait to try some of the other sides when I return. Price point is what I expect.

Dog friendly patio. Came here for a family friendly dinner with the cutest pooch. Surprised that the place was empty on a Saturday night. Was is due to Tulane's season opener? Or the Florida State vs. LSU opener? Although it was nice to have the place to ourselves. Ordered from the land and from the sea. The plates are a deconstructed sandwich. A sweet potato biscuit, a small salad with a pickled vegetable and a protein, like two small pieces of fried pieces of drum, two chicken fingers or veggie sticks. Or get a sandwich. The fried drum (fish) for $13 was much better than the chicken for $9. Add a side or two. The smashed potatoes were good, but a bit salty. The fried bok Choy was a bit greasy and quite salty. Would not get that again. Interesting place for dinner, especially if you have a four footed furry friend.

Food was tasty but way too greasy. Like the oil was wasn't hot enough and the breading soaked up the oil. Chicken juicy. greens tasty. Bok choy too chewy. Biscuit good but too much with the heavy fried food. We were the first customers that day. Worth another try.

I drive by this place often on my way to Stretch Zone. I finally decided to check it out. Wonderland looks very new and modern inside. There is a good amount of indoor and outdoor seating. The menu is very simple. You can choose fish, chicken or vegetarian options. Every category comes as either a sandwich or a plate. I was told the plate is a deconstructed sandwich. I ordered the chicken strips plate. The other option is the chicken thigh. I added bok choy and the rice fritters. The bok choy was outstanding. The best thing about the food is that it's cooked to order. Everything comes out fresh and hot! The waitress was very helpful and patient when I ordered and asked a bunch of questions. I think Wonderland describes themselves as elevated fast and family food. I would have to agree.

Delicious! The fry on the chicken and fish is light and crunchy. Everything is fresh and tasty! Veggies are flash fried perfectly. Love the seasonings, pickled veg, biscuits. Clean and great atmosphere. Family friendly highly recommend!

OH MY GOODNESS! I stumbled across the jewel and fell in love! The fish is to DIE FOR! The service was excellent, I even had a mishap with a charge and before I even noticed and addressed the situation, it was already taken care of. Nice, quiet place to take on a date or children!

This place is adorable! the ambiance. It has great outdoor seating. It's an order at the counter style place. There was one person working the front and one cooking. The person who took my order and explained how the menu worked was super patient and very friendly. It's a unique concept. I ordered the drum, which is fried in Panko bread crumbs. The flavor was ok but had a good crunch but was very greasy. It came with a sweet potato biscuit (just ok) and cabbage (basically just a small spoonful of plain cabbage w/ carrots). I ordered the rice balls which I ended up feeding to my dogs. Not good. And the sauce to dip them is Tabasco based. They can do better with that. Also, the house special sauce has no flavor either. I also ordered the side kale salad. The kale salad was phenomenal!!! I wish I had gotten the full portion salad! The dressing and contents were perfect! I recommend the salad. I like the healthy factor here but food still has to taste good. Try the yummy healthy kale salad!

We were here for a crawfish boil (you can reserve the patio for private events) and I was blown away. The ambiance inside and out was refreshing. The patio was perfect- I could've sat there all day (basically did). Didn't feel like we were on tchop, it felt like the beach should be around the corner. Didn't sample the menu since we had crawfish, but the other party attendees who had been there before said the fish and chicken sandwiches were fabulous and full of flavor. They have an ice cream machine and alcohol. Just a good time all around.

Another business trip to NOLA & another local joint that impresses! I started with the cucumber mint lemon-lime aide & it was surprising good, my cohort got the watermelon hibiscus lime - both drinks were good, but mine was better I got the fish sammich & cohort, the chicken thigh plate. The proteins were fried in a tempura batter that was crispy & light - both were great, made with high quality ingredients, combined in an interesting way for a perfect lunch size portion. Its in a remodeled older building just south of the Garden District, but it's clean, well lit & has a nice dining area. The counter service was quick & the staff knowledgeable.

Run don't walk to this place! Small simple menu and not a single miss among the items. They also have great drinks. I had the cranberry apple juice. Like a frozen margarita texture but Christmas flavors. Will ABSOLUTELY be back to try everything.

We had a great experience here. The food was excellent-we had the chicken (tenders and thighs, spicy and not) as well as the vegetarian patty. The biscuits were delicious, the smashed potatoes were the right blend of crispy and I really liked the bok choy. We got both of the frozen drinks, which were refreshing and a perfect foil to the spicy chicken. There's an outdoor space that was perfect for my kids (1.5 year old and 5 year old) to play with trucks and stack wooden blocks. There are kid sized forks and cups available, too, which is nice.

Love Taylor! AND the food is good too! They had a stand during Mardi Gras and it was cool to be walking by and see them.

I don't write reviews here often, but this restaurant warrants it. I got the spicy chicken thigh plate, which comes with homemade pickles (today was watermelon), and a sweet potato biscuit. I also ordered the small fried mashed potatoes with spicy cheese sauce and the small flash-fried bok choy. The chicken was expertly fried to order, nice and juicy and perfectly seasoned. The bok choy was just...wow. I could live on just that for the rest of my life and die happy. The biscuit and fried mashed potatoes were also very delicious. Including the Mexican coke, the whole meal was ONLY $20!!! Very cute space with lots of indoor and outdoor seating, too. 10/5, highly recommend.

Ordered through Uber. First order. Dynamite! Super comforting--that fried chicken thigh was the best I've ever had. Not just on a sandwich-- the best fried chicken piece. But it's more than that deliciousness. Every accouterment has a purpose. It took me home immediately but then shot me to outer space. Got potatoes and fried rice balls. Super impressed.

Wonderland & Sea continues to impress. Today I had one of their slushy drinks and it was amazing. So refreshing that I honestly feel younger after enjoying it. Love this place.

I'd give it 1 star but the ambience and service was great. As for food, got the chicken plate and fish plate. Chicken was overcooked and unpleasant flavor. Fish was okay at best. The sides and portion of what is a $13 fish plate and $9 plate with only two pieces of a protein and small sides is just weak. That cabbage slaw should just be erased from existence, like come on y'all. Hope it was just an off day cause the reviews are solid. Any ways, good luck to ya!

Man what can I say. I came here on a Wednesday afternoon after driving past this establishment earlier in the week with my girlfriend. I was surprised that she and I were the only ones there. Got the spicy gulf fish plate. FIRE. Took one bite and wondered where it went cuz it melted away. Biscuit. FIRE. The service was fast and ambiance was great all around 100/10. Imma come back.

Great new casual restaurant on Tchoupitoulas. I had the Wonder of the Sea sandwich and fried smash potatoes. Got sides of the wonder sauce and sweet and spicy sauce - both were A+. Casual indoor and outdoor seating with fans and outdoor games. Delicious frozen drinks that you can choose to add alcohol to (rum, vodka or tequila).

Delicious food! Kale salad was perfect, and the fish and chickpea tenders were great. Very nice decor too. Thanks to the great staff and cooks! :)

Immediately 5 stars for the sweet potato biscuits!! Talk about fantastic. We got: Wonder the Sea in mild: Loved the fish, didnt care for the pickled item Kale Salad add Chicken Tender: DELISH! Fried Smashed Potatoes: A little too crispy, but would try another day. The service was top tier. So nice. So efficient. The space (inside and out) was super cute, and dog-friendly on the patio which is another star in my book. We'll definitely be back to try more items, and have MORE BISCUITS.

Best fried chicken in New Orleans! Not the largest portions but high high quality, you get what you pay for! absolutely the best and wouldn't change a thing about this place the sides are good to. The chicken dinner plate comes with a delicious biscuit that has cheddar and honey on top. New favorite spot!

Read about this place on yelp, decided to give them a try. If I didn't have the exact address I would have missed it. Inside is open light airy feel to it. Clean and crisp I would say. Order at the counter with a very helpful employee she answered questions with a smilie. I had a craving for the fish and got the sandwich. Spicy style was my choice and the first crunchy bite was perfection. Got the chicken thigh sandwich also a hit. Rice balls crispy and dipped in delish sauce on the side. Cucumber ginger frozen drink was refreshing. Will I go back, absolutely . Way to hot for the large patio though. Maybe around Christmas time.

Space is open, airy, clean. Staff was friendly, helpful, informative. We had a group of 8 people, tried almost everything on the menu. Everything was fresh and delicious, very well seasoned!

Such a clean and very nice restaurant with a great staff and really good food. Love their concept and we had a great time there meeting friends for lunch! Even though it's not a large space, the patio is also delightful in good weather. Chicken and the greens are a wonderful choice

i just went into this restaurant and although the restaurant looks nice. I will not eat here. The workers were not wearing gloves when handling food and then wiping their hands on their pants and a very dirty rag. Now I can understand doing that at home with your own food but not at a restaurant with other peoples.

The food is fantastic, and the menu is surprisingly creative. Love that the sides aren't just the typical fries and and Mac and cheese. Great for families!

We had a great lunch here! The food was great! The menu is simple but the chicken/fish/veggie concept makes sure everyone has something they can enjoy. Maddie was our cashier/server and she was super helpful with her menu knowledge went above and beyond to make sure the kids and adults in our party had a great time.

Definitely not a review person but this place deserves it! I've been passing by decided to stop...Im so happy I did. I had the spicy fish sandwich, potatoes, bok choy, hibiscus daiquiri and everything was sooo goood, the ambiance was not overwhelming and the server was so patient and cool. Just love love love everything. Great job to the owner to que in what we've been missing around here.

Interesting choices. All sides looked amazing--we had grilled collards and smashed potatoes with our spicy fish. Spice is the way to go! So cute inside--we had a cold day so didn't get to enjoy the really pretty outdoor area. Give it a try!

took my nephew and niece for birthday dinner last evening - - it was truly a full 5 star experience from beginning to end - - Taylor, the extremely personable founder/owner this 7+ month old, explained the menu & gave us sample drinks ( the frozen margaritas were outstanding ), had delicious entrees & the diverse sides were also excellent. Everything about the layout and feel - color scheme, clear catchy descriptions of offerings, seating options - were thoughtfully & aesthetically pleasing. We would encourage you to " run, don't walk" to this amazing place!!!

Service was very slow. Potatoes were burnt, and--even though it was touted as fresh--the puppy drum sandwich was fishy. They've only recently opened, so perhaps they're working out "kinks"...but I'm not anxious to venture there again,

I had the chicken plate with the Bok Choy side. Everything was fresh and cooked perfectly. The restaurant was spotless and the staff was friendly. Loved the biscuit. They will see me again and often.

Delicious food and amazing service. Really cool, funky atmosphere. Definitely worth checking out!! The iced drinks are delicious. I had the veggie dish and was really pleasantly surprised. The "fry" or batter was perfection. Will definitely be back. Especially since it seems that they have a soft serve icecream machine up and running since we've been!!

This is a great affordable stop for quality sandwiches, sides and drinks. Creative cool vibe inside and a great family friendly patio outside. Prices are a bargain and the quality of ingredients is exceptional. Execution is quite good and efficient. Service meets the new pay and deliver from the counter model but it is done with a smile and they keep it clean. I'll be back for another fish sandwich with those fantastic house pickles soon. Well done on all points for a simple sandwich focused, family eatery.
