Google
My family and I really enjoyed this experience. It was very interesting. I do recommend this at least once. A few things to keep in mind though... 1. There was one area closed and would have like to have known that before booking because I would have waited to see it. 2. It was very cool, entertaining and we would do it again except it is kind of short. We finished our experience in about an hour. I think it could have been a little more involved but what we saw was awesome. I'm not trying to knock the experience, because we loved it. I just want to warn that it doesn't last 2 hours and that we were expecting a little more exhibits.

Nicolette P.

Google
Wonderspaces was nice! I recommend going at least one time. There are cool things to see. I will go back if I'm in the area one day to see if any of the exhibits have changed.

Google
I loved this experience. I especially loved how you could make your own interactions with the art and add your own stuff. (for example, you could add your own favorite song and add a memory along with it, or write unsaid words on a piece of paper, or write what you want to do before you die.) I thought the rooms were beautiful. The VR is definitely worth doing! Staff is nice and friendly. Genuinely loved this.

Gregory L.

Google
This was amazing to see. The room with the strings of lights I could have stayed in there for a long time. The sounds and the way the lit up was unique. We liked the plants too, just looked like hanging plants from a white trellis but when you touched the plants they made sounds. It’s well worth it to spend some time here.

Google
Originally I found this place on TikTok & since I love little trips I invited some of my girls. Personally I give this place a 10/10. I didn’t expect as much as I did. 1. Parking is perfect, definitely something you might want to explore more during warmer weather so you can walk around 2. Worth the ticket price 3. You can buy drinks upon entrance & keep your cups which I found so cute! 4. It might seem small but truly it’s not and you can also engage in some of the art they have there. 5. They also have an area to hang your coats! Super cute Personally I think this place is worth the trip!

Google
My companion & I enjoyed our first visit to Wonderspaces Philadelphia located at the Galleria mall steps away from the Reading Terminal Market & Philly Convention Center. The interactive exhibits were creative and made one think outside the box. Special thanks to Michael for showing us some of the insiders tips, such as placing one's head far inside the Infinity Box, and Aya for helping us with check in. We will certainly be back for a return visit!

Corey B.

Google
This was such a fun date day experience. While this interactive art installation is fun for all ages I would recommend maybe bringing children 6y+. Make sure your camera is charged so you can capture all of the cool photo opportunities. And they also have a bar onsite. You still need to make reservations and you will need to enter through the fashion districts main entrance.

Google
Came her on a Monday afternoon, absolutely worth every dollar! Has a bar inside, amazing drinks. Happy hour starts at 4pm drinks come in souvenir glass. Light snacks. Art installations are so unique and interactive! Me & my daughter loved it.

Yelp
Wonderspaces is an endlessly Instagram-able backdrop , but it didn't quite live up to the hype for me. The interactive exhibits were interesting, and even a fine arts dullard like myself appreciated the variety of mediums and creativity, especially the light and sound pieces, but others felt underwhelming, just weird masquerading as "creative," or little more than selfie backdrops. The space was pretty empty while I was there, which was nice and allowed for plenty of time to enjoy each piece. I've seen other reviews and images where some of the spaces were absolutely packed, so I'm not sure if crowds add to or detract from the overall interactive experience. Overall, it was a nice enough way to spend an hour or two, especially given the weather outside, but I'm not sure it's worth the ticket price unless you're really into experiential art. It was a one-and-done for me, your mileage may vary.

Yelp
I feel like having the word "Wonder" in the business name is a bit misleading. I wouldn't say I was in awe or exceptionally wowed by this art exhibit housed in Philadelphia's fashion district. It was cool to see once, yeah, but it's definitely a one-and-done type of situation. For one, I don't think the price is set fairly. It was $27 for GA without a discount. If anything, I'd say $15 would be a good price. We spent roughly 45 minutes here exploring the exhibits spanning two floors. The room with the hanging lights was cool; that's the one they hype up the most on social media and I see why. Overall though, I just didn't feel like there was much passion put into the space. It was the definition of an a-okay time, but there are pleeeenty of better attractions to check out in Philly.

Yelp
Creative and immersive art exhibits. I have an addiction to cool lights and alt art, so this was right up my alley. My only gripe is I wish they had adult-only hours. Damn kids getting in the way... Yes, I'm old and grouchy. Great drinks, btw. The bartender was very accommodating with my mods. My guest didn't have any modifications, and both our drinks were fantastic, and you get to keep the jars as souvenirs.
google avatar

Yelp
We had plans to go to the zoo but the rain told us otherwise. Our Yelp app guided us to Wonderspaces instead! This immersive museum exhibit was two floors of interesting and colorful art that gave my whole family something to think about. My husband and I's favorite was the space virtual reality movie, and my kids really loved yelling at each other in some of the neon colored domes. Overall a cute (albeit expensive) way to kill an hour or two in Philly! Tip: It is very close to Chinatown so stop by for some dumplings afterwards!
google avatar

Yelp
EXPERIENCE What a great experience! My friend and I booked tickets on the spur after seeing some promotions for the exhibits online. We weren't expecting too much beyond the lights exhibit, but we were pleasantly surprised! Each exhibit was so fun and interactive, and each room is never too crowded. It's a great activity to do for both kids and adults, and a great place to relax (especially the lights exhibit!). LOCATION/PARKING The exhibit is located within the Fashion District Mall, which can get quite empty at times. Parking garages are located nearby, and paid street parking in front of the mall is also available at a limited capacity.
google avatar

Yelp
Such a fun interactive art spot for the whole family. There was so many cool installations. It's well worth the ticket price. It's inside the Factory District mall. The 2 floor space is very immersive and fun. Great spot for instagrams. There was even a Virtual Reality piece. There is something to inspire everyone. There is rather clumsy release process when you arrive, which is weird. Getting online tickets was easy. Nice front desk staff.

Yelp
Really cool experience overall! Stumbled upon this place while at the market and we were not disappointed! They have a few different exhibits, intriguing visuals; took us about 2 hours to walk around with no rush and enjoy the different rooms

Yelp
Really enjoyed my visit! The art installments were unique and thought provoking. I loved the interactive nature of the exhibits - including leaving messages and reading messages left by others, creating splashes of color at the Body Paint exhibit, the infinity box (reminiscent of Kusama's infinity rooms which I'm a huge fan of) titled Bloom, a virtual reality experience, a piano chorus of sorts, and giant inflated Thank You bags. I spent about 1.5-2 hours here and enjoyed every moment. If you order a drink, it comes with a glass jar with the Wonderspaces design on it that you get to keep. Located inside the mall at Fashion District, it's easy to stop by during a shopping trip. It's right by Jefferson Station as well. Would definitely recommend!

Yelp
Wonderspaces is right! Each art installation is a whole experience of wonder. Makes you feel like a little kid again, everything is cool and exciting and you have questions about everything your eyes see. I really loved the twinkly lights that were coordinated by sound. So when it "rained" it really felt and looked like each raindrop lit up and made for a spectacular sight. My other faves included standing in front of a projector that whenever you moved, splashes of color filled the screen behind you. Felt like you were a magician of all the colors of the wind! They also had a VR viewing of how the universe came to be, narrated by Jessica Chastain I think. And so many other cool, almost scientifically creative stations involving light, sound and even water! I really loved the time spent here and it definitely sparked and lit my imagination on fire! Highly recommend checking out a wonderspace near you!

Yelp
I enjoyed my time here during my short trip to Philadelphia. To me, the most interesting room was the one with all the lights dangling from the ceiling, titled Submergence by Squidsoup. I think it's about a 12-minute loop with the lights continually changing colors in sync with music. It was very magical, and I spent a long time here on a Thursday afternoon taking photos and videos. I also liked Erupture, by Nicole Banowetz, which has all these white inflatable sculpture that depicts a surreal landscape of microscopic lifeforms. Body paint by Memo Akten was also very entertaining. As you walk, dance, run, jump, whatever across the room, the wall with the light projecting on it will change colors that follow you, which was very fun. The guy who checked me in was very nice! Great staff. Everything can be seen in about an hour.
google avatar

Marissa Y.

Yelp
Had a great time! Friendly staff, interactive exhibits, however, seemed a bit too small, which is the reason for 4 stars and not 5.
google avatar

Christine L.

Yelp
Super fun experience in the city! Came here with a friend when we were visiting Philly and it was one of the most memorable places we went to. There's a bar when you enter on the first floor that sells drinks in a very cute glass (I think you get to keep the glass as well!). There were about 15 or 16 exhibits and many were interactive and unique. It took us about an hour to get through all of them. It's a really well-priced experience and there are student discounts available. I really enjoyed going to Wonderspaces but wish there was a bit more. Overall, I had a great time and took a bunch of very cool and aesthetic photos here!
google avatar

Kelli M.

Yelp
My son and I were downtown shopping and just happened to see this place. I have heard about it but didn't really know much about it. I guess you can say it's interactive art. It was $42 or $43 for the two of us and that was with a child pass so the price is a little steep but it was worth it. I did see another mom and two kids leave when they found out the price though. Our favorite was the Fuji room, which was like a projector type screen and it changed the same scenery and had soothing sounds while we sat on bean bags. Most of the exhibits can't be explained they're a have to see for your self type experience.
google avatar

Christopher B.

Yelp
Wonder spaces was a nice exhibit located in the heart of the Fashion District. It was a pretty good interactive experience. Ideal for an outing with friends or even a date night. I admit that it wasn't my cup of tea BUT there were a few exhibits that blew me away. The VR experience was very fascinating. It's around a 12 - 15 minutes of run-time. The last word exhibit was also really good as well. They also serve snacks and drink. Even gave souvenir glass.
google avatar

Micah R.

Yelp
This place is very nice and has lots of potential, there aren't enough exhibits to last more than 20 minutes tho. the Wndr museum is way better. Drinks were good tho
google avatar

Alex L.

Yelp
I saw this place being advertised on Tik Tok & my friends & I couldn't wait to visit! Let me start off & say it's such a great experience for ALL ages! There is a cocktail & coffee bar at the entrance for adults. But they do also offer mocktails, water, etc. for those who can't / don't drink! Most of the art installations here are interactive in one way or another which really elevates the experience! They were all unique and intriguing, and we went back to several of them to enjoy them again or take pictures before leaving. For the price, you really get your money's worth. I highly recommend coming with a group of friends, it's a great place to make memories. I can't wait to come back for the next rotation of installations! Staff is located around throughout the exhibits if you have questions or concerns. Everyone I talked to was so polite & helpful. Despite visiting on the weekend, it never felt packed or cramped. I would highly recommend buying your tickets for a designated time slot in advance, though there if all the tickets are not sold out you may purchase them upon arrival as well.
google avatar

Phiona R.

Yelp
I had a great time visiting wonderspaces!! Most of the art is interactive and provides individuals with an opportunity to get involved in a way other "museums" don't allow.
google avatar

Heather C.

Yelp
In order to fully enjoy this space, you must be in the correct headspace before coming. There is a bar upon entry and you are allowed to walk around with alcoholic or non alcoholic beverages. We were mesmerized by a few of the installations, others, we didn't quite understand. It was a neat space and we forgot that we were in a mall. It was a good time.
google avatar

La-Kia K.

Yelp
After watching a Tik Tok video of this exhibit, I just knew we had to check it out. You will have to purchase tickets beforehand. Upon check-in, there is a COVID check-in questionnaire you will have to complete and the station is sanitized in between guests. The host advised what to expect and to enjoy. As we entered there was a bar area, but was crowded, and decided not to partake. Immediately across from the bar was the first piece of art. Throughout the exhibit you cab engage and become apart of the artwork. To help prevent the spread of COVID, hand sanitizer was stationed outside of each art area. I really enjoyed the virtual reality video. Each goggle were sanitized by staff as a precaution. This exhibit is age appropriate for various ages.

Yelp
This place was amazing. My son and I went and as he remarked, this would be a great date place. This is not a good place for little kids but was a great interactive art experience. The wall with the paper tubes was amazing. Actually, all of the exhibits were really cool. I miss things you can do in a city and was thrilled to be able to see this.
google avatar

Laura E.

Yelp
A fun experience for all ages! Came with my boyfriend, while visiting Philly and had so much fun. There are plenty of installations to visit (some interactive). A few of the installations are timed ranging from 10 to 20 minutes. There's a bar located on the first floor that sells snacks, alcoholic drinks, and non-alcoholic beverages. We ordered a cocktail each and were given a souvenir cup. You have the option of decorating your top with Sharpes. You are allowed to walk with your drinks and are advised to leave them sealed and outside of the installation rooms. Don't worry they have tables set up for your drinks. Word of the wise, make sure you visit the VR installation!
google avatar

Meghan B.

Yelp
Fun, relaxing art exhibit tucked away in the mall. Love that there's a bar too. Staff was friendly and flexible
google avatar

Yelp
WonderSpaces in the Fashion District Philadelphia is now re-opened! For continued safety of all guests, the amount of visitors allowed at any given time has been significant reduced (I think I may have been one of 10 people, but I'm unsure of specifics on numbers permitted) and all ticket sales will take place online, eliminating cash transactions. Masks are required at all times, and hand sanitizer is available outside of every installment, even though most are "non-touch," in nature. Temperature checks were administered prior to entry and they have a new app/chat function that you can download on your phone in case you have any questions to help curb the amount of guest and staff in-person interactions, however personnel are still on site. Staff does provide a disposable eye mask so that you can safely participate in the two VR exhibits, but we personally didn't participate in those installments. In case you weren't excited enough, WonderSpaces has added two new installations: Human Study #1, 3RNP by Patrick Tresset and Ferreflection Pool by Mesplé. Overall my experience was great-- it was nice to be able to go to an art exhibit and do something "normal," while still being safe.
google avatar

Ritesh S.

Yelp
A delight to the senses. Immersive and intriguing. Definitely some conversation pieces. Enjoyed our time checking out this new installation. It's located in the Fashion District and installation is permanent so there will be changing exhibits as time goes on. The process to check in is to sign a waiver and then get stamped to step inside. There's a bar on the first floor once through check in as well as a coat check. The exhibits are inventive and definitely instagrammable. Your senses are tingled and as much as the pieces are thought provoking there's a bit of whimsy injected in to keep it light and engaging. Be sure to come with time on your hands as there is lots to see and two floors to cover. Get excited - wonder awaits!

Yelp
We came here during a birthday weekend and this place was awesome. This is a small exhibit located right near a mall space, which sounds distracting, but you wouldn't even notice. The exhibit is small (about 16 art installations) but spacious and interactive. You can go as quickly or as slowly as you need to. You can also take all the pictures you want - the scenery is perfect. We tended to chill with the art pieces that played music and take pictures with anything that had lights or shadows - it was a fun time. Though we're not art experts by any means, this exhibit tends to air on the side of modern art. Very MOMA-esque in NYC vibes. Within the exhibit there's also a bar. The drinks are SO GOOD and strong. Well-priced too. The best part is, you can even walk around with your drink in the exhibit. There are spaces to sit and relax as well as a space to leave your drink outside each art installation. The bar even offers a discount on all subsequent drinks. Makes for a potentially boozy experience. Caveat - the drinks air on the sweeter side but you can definitely ask to make it stronger and/or with less mix. The bartender seem to be highly accommodating and friendly. Whether you're on a date, expanding your art knowledge, building your photography portfolio or just passing through, this is a great exhibit to visit. Don't miss out ^_^

Yelp
Located on the 2nd floor of the Philadelphia Fashion District, Wonderspaces spans 24k sq ft and the art installations are spread out between two floors. My husband and I decided to come here because we both appreciate art and were interested based on all the promotional ads we saw. Yes, you can take Instagram worthy photos but I really liked that it was an interactive, immersive art experience that allowed you enjoy each installation at your own pace in a non intimidating space. You can go through each exhibit as quickly or as slowly as you want. It's just a good time. I think it's cool that they rotate the exhibits every couple months because then it makes the membership they offer potentially worth it especially because you get unlimited visits for the year along with other perks which include a 10% ticket discount for any friend you bring and a free drink for you and your friend at the bar (they do cap it at 6 complimentary drinks a year). Would I go back? : I would definitely consider going back depending on how often the exhibits are changed. I also like how Wonderspaces showcases art in a way that is not too "Instagram-y" that it's gimmicky or too contemporary that it's pretentious; you can enjoy the exhibits regardless of whether or not you're into art.
google avatar

David D.

Yelp
Very cool experience. The art exhibits were incredibly cool and the staff was very professional and helpful. Very clean as well
google avatar

John M.

Yelp
Wonder spaces is really something special. I went once, was amazed, and actually wanted to go back the next day. But it didn't pan out so my second time there will be some time hopefully in the near future. There's two floors and about 16 exhibits. There's also a bar. Take the time to really enjoy it and be sure to bring a camera so you get some great photos. They have a coat rack as well if you wanted to wear your best, but it's cold outside haha. They do rotate the exhibits, though I'm not sure how often so there is great benefit in visiting multiple times. My friend and I had the unfortunate timing of arriving 2 hours before they close and I felt like we didn't have enough time. I could have easily spent an extra hour there. Learn from our mistake!
google avatar

Sasha M.

Yelp
Super neat. We arrived earlier than our booking time but it was no problem they ushered us right in. It was so much more expansive than I would have thought. When you thought you were getting to the end, boom! Another room and hall and room again! It was unlike anything I've ever been to. And let me tell you, it's so trippy in person! I would not have expected it to truly be like that, even though I DID look at pics beforehand. It was really neat and not crowded at all.
google avatar

Vidhi S.

Yelp
Been wanting to check this out for a while and I'm glad we finally got to go this weekend! There are different rooms with exhibits and two floors worth. Can easily spend over an hour here. Unfortunately the little kid we had with us fell asleep but i think kids would enjoy some of the interactive pieces and there are warnings everywhere if something has lots of lights if that's something you'd wanna avoid. Overall a good time and right in the center of everything else to enjoy in the city.
google avatar

Nhu N.

Yelp
An interesting experience but I was expecting to see more for the price. Basically finished looking through everything in 1 hour or less. Maybe I should have gotten drunk.
google avatar

Faith N.

Yelp
Everything was beautiful... Some features stay up while others are replaced constantly. There is also a virtual reality room where you put this headset on and that was amazing. Overall great place to visit and take pictures. Would 1,000% recommend.
google avatar

Don W.

Yelp
TLDR - Place is magical don't spoil the impact by reading too much here. Totally fun, totally worth it! We found this place by accident walking around. We saw people walking out smiling so we decided to investigate. We intentionally didnt google the place and that was a great idea. Dont spoil the impact by reading too much here. There are immersive and interactive techno-visual and tactile art exhibits on a large scale you experience and are part of. We loved it.
google avatar

Linda M.

Yelp
We came to Philly specifically for the wonderspaces exhibition and it was definitely worth it. The check-in was quick and the staff were really nice. There were multiple rooms that showed different installations (body paint, thank you bags, micomonumental mapping, submergence, Akousmaflore, ferreflection pool, come together, erupture, blooms, our top 100, the last word, etc). You can legit spend an entire here if you really want to take your time and take a lot of photos. We had a hectic schedule and limited time so we were only here for a couple of hours but we still manage to get some awesome shots and had a really good time.
google avatar

Dean C.

Yelp
It was nice but definitely not worth $55 In my opinion it was a waste of money and i'm upset i even bothered coming here especially since i can't get a refund it took me 20 minutes to look at everything and i just want interested it definitely looked better on the website
google avatar

Wendy J.

Yelp
Such a cool place for date night, family weekend, or a solo experience! I definitely recommend checking this interactive museum out, especially if you want some cool pictures. I really enjoyed the squidsoup exhibit with the dangling lights. Hopefully, after COVID, they can open up again for more people to enjoy!
google avatar

Casey P.

Yelp
This was such an amazing experience. Everything about this was so unique and ~trippy~. Highly highly recommend . Perfect for a rainy day.
google avatar

Brittany C.

Yelp
Parking was tricky but we ended up finding a parking garage across the street from the venue. The check in was seamless and they had a cocktail bar too! I enjoyed the exhibits and then I saw the pathway to the mall. I will be returning for future exhibits.

Emily F.

Yelp
Very few exhibits, not very clean and they advertise a bar but you cannot walk around with your drink. Not worth the price of the ticket IMO and definitely not some place I would take a child as they would not be entertained.
google avatar

Alisha L.

Yelp
You have to really appreciate art to come here. The artwork was flawless but theres only about 10 attractions upstairs and 4 downstairs which is not alot. Masks are strictly enforced and there are staff all over to make sure of it. the description of each work is on the website after you scan the QR code in the beginning. my favorite one is the main floor with the light bulbs i was able to get nice pictures in there! Again if you are not really into art nor appreciate it with an open mind, its not for you but if you want nice pictures and to really appreciate art with an open mind, this is for you
google avatar

Haley L.

Yelp
This is a fun and interactive experience that everyone will enjoy! They have a lot of exhibits that are always rotating, and there are new things to see every few months. Each exhibit is unique and memorable in its own ways. There are also plenty of opportunities to take pictures. Make sure you reserve a space ahead of time because it could get crowded if you are there on a busy day.

Grace R.

Yelp
Fun activity in the city! Each exhibit was unique and memorable- and of course lots of photo opportunities #forthegram ! The interior is so spacious with a bar for drinks to enjoy while touring the exhibit and very clean bathrooms. Check in was through the iPads in the front area and overall the staff was readily available and helpful!
google avatar

Kaitlyn M.

Yelp
This place is okay if you're trying to be mellow and content, I really recommend this place if you're trying to do some professional photography that's what I went for Recently I had a friend who left for the navy and I've been super bummed and sad... cause being so close to someone put me in a mental state so I came here to do some photography, I also wrote a note on the wall of notes, and just goofed around at the end of the day I felt better talked to some staff who helped me feel happier Tho I don't like the whole mask mandate thing, maybe because I live in NJ and ours was lifted I'm also vaccinated but it never changes anything so idk but I understood why overall, I came here because it seemed fascinating which it was and because I needed to have a little me day do some photography to get my mind off my best friend leaving so I will definitely be coming back
google avatar

Michelle C.

Yelp
I absolutely loved Wonderspaces! For those who are familiar with Artechouse in Washington, DC (or Miami or NYC), it's somewhat similar but, in my humble opinion, waaaaay cooler. This is Wonderspaces' second permanent location, so new art installations will swap out every few months. That said, do not sleep on the first round of installations! I was truly impressed by so many of them, and they ranged from more traditional art pieces to interactive exhibits, including some virtual reality works (my favorite overall was one of the VRs, titled: Transition). There's a bar in case you want to grab a drink, though you'll have to leave said drink at drop tables for many of the exhibits. To be honest, I first thought Wonderspaces was a temporary exhibition and am thrilled that it's permanent! I will definitely plan more visits in the future and can't wait to see how the installations change over time!
google avatar

Jasmine H.

Yelp
I was so excited to hear that interactive exhibits like these were coming to Philly! The exhibits were all amazing, though I did have some favorites. The second VR exhibit in the boat and Body Paint were my personal favorites. I found Dinner Party to be a bit intense, but I still really liked it. I maybe would've preferred a bit of a heads up going in. I'll admit I was drawn by the insta photos and lovely pictures, but I ended up staying for over two hours because I just got so caught up in the exhibits. Some of them are truly fascinating examples of how science and human creativity can come together in beautiful ways. Overall lovely time, I don't know when the exhibits will change, but I would definitely return.

Nadia K.

Yelp
The light show was exhilarating. My kids loved it. It kept them busy for about two hours and it was really fun.
google avatar

Holli G.

Yelp
Wonderspaces did not disappoint! I've been to almost all of the Instagram pop ups in the area and I have to say this was one of my favorites. Not only was there awesome art to look at and interact with but there were awesome picture opportunities, two virtual reality experiences, and a bar with delicious drinks. The exhibits are going to change so I do plan on going back!
google avatar

Ghazal M.

Yelp
Absolutely love this place! If you are in Philadelphia you need to visit this place. So clean, has super nice staff, and Magical arts!
