Wong's Wok Chinese Kitchen

I was on a budget so decided to stop here for dinner, and I'm so glad I did! The food was delicious and very affordable, and the woman who helped me was so nice!The food was very tasty and I loved the smokey wok flavor the noodles had. My favorite may have been the eggplant though, it was packed with flavor and so tender and soft! I would absolutely recommend coming here and giving them a try!

I ordered online. The order process was great and delivery was great. The prices are normal for what I ordered. I ordered two chicken entrees, orange chicken and general tsos. When I took a few bites I noticed it was all breading with sauce, so I purposefully cut open all of the pieces to see if there’s any chicken ,to my disappointment There was only a few pieces in the entire entrée that had the tiniest small bits of chicken, surrounded with a lot of coating of bread and dough and doused with sauce. I will never order from them again and I just wasted over $90 on breading. This is very misleading and deceitful! The Fried rice with shrimp was good, you have to pay for steamed rice. The egg rolls and spring rolls were OK.

The location of the Chinese fast food place was very clean and the food tasted fresh since I was there at 11:30! The 2 combo items were more than enough, and can feed 2 or 3 people! The lady at the counter was very nice overall experience was great! 👍

Very clean the tables in the restaurant and entire place was spotless. And you could easily gather the whole family around in the space. The woman who helped me was extra kind and gave a big smile, very welcoming at the start. Extra warm servings compared to other fast Chinese restaurants. The servings were Generous indeed. Black pepper chicken exploded with flavor. Spicy marinated teriyaki flavors. The Orange chicken is sweet, tang, with hearty meaty cuts. Again some spots the orange chicken is more batter than meat so this was appreciated and noticed. Fried rice and Chow mein are seasoned to perfection noodles are soft and the rice is plentiful.

It was my first time ordering from here and the food was delicious! I ordered the General Tso’s chicken, Mongolian beef and chow mein. My only critique of the food was there was too many peppers and onions in the Mongolian beef in proportion to actual beef. More beef would have taken this review to 5 stars.

I've only been here once, but the food was really good. For $8 I got a huge serving of fried rice, chowmein, AND kung pow chicken. There was so much food! I wish they were located closer to where I live.

The food is hot, fresh and delicious. They are always very friendly and have good customer service. This is one if the few Chinese spots I have found where can get a combo and not have to order a large plate of rice or noodles or the entree.

I grabbed dinner here when staying at a hotel down the street. Friendly when I walked in, huge portions, and absolutely delicious food. There was nothing I didn't like!

I'd like a decent alternative to Panda Express for Chinese fast food. Not that there's anything terrible about Panda, but having choices is good. Unfortunately, this place is one the few out there, and the bad seems to outweigh the good. Their Orange Chicken isn't as good as Panda's. Their Kung Pao Chicken is terrible--the pieces of chicken are mostly just skin and grizzle with hardly any meat. Their chow mein noodles are not quite as good as Panda's either. They do offer a couple things that I like that Panda lacks. They have a regular noodle that's a lot thinner and lighter than chow mein. It's pretty decent. And they offer a black bean fish entree that is not bad. But those aren't enough to offset the lower quality stuff. To be fair, I haven't tried all the things on their menu. But I'm reluctant to come back soon. Maybe to try some other things. They are very friendly and give very generous portions of food on their combo plates.

Food, service, and attention to customers. Definitely give Wong's a visit. Something about places like this that are rare. I see some reviews comparing it to Panda - it's nothing like Panda. The portion sizes make the containers topped out.

This is one of those spots that when your looking to fill that itch you come too!!! My favorite is the chicken wings and teriyaki chiken on steamed rice... The 2 item plate is loaded with chicken I mean it's well worth the money!!! The woman at the register I want to say is the owner and the is really nice and makes you feel welcome... The Food is real fresh and hot to the touch so be careful in a food way!!! You can dine in but I normally game them on the go... Parking is in the back of the building I'm the plaza so don't be scared to stop in must of the other business patrons come an go pretty quickly. I added an online code for 15% off in my pictures. We love Wongs Wok! Such a gem in Glendale. The food is always fresh and tasty. They give such a great portion. I end up having food for the next day. Friendly and professional staff. The inside is always clean and looks sanitary all the time. I love this place.

We found Wong's wok while trying to find a decent fast food Chinese spot during our time in LA and I'm glad we did! The food was very delicious and they PACKED my plate that I took to go. I got a plate with mixed chow mei and fried rice, orange chicken, and mushroom zucchini chicken and everything was made very well. Nothing tasted burnt or over done. The rice was flavorful. The noodles weren't too greasy. I would easily come back here again and again if we lived in the area. Parking was a bit confusing as it looks like it's with a gas station but is actually part of a kinda L shaped plaza and shares a building with an office space. Luckily they have 3 different doors to enter from, so when you get there you'll definitely find your way in.

I never really experienced a perfect Chinese food spot until now! The Jalapeño Chicken is my favorite and love how it's well cooked by the chef. I also love the convenience of having a restroom which most Chinese food restaurants don't have.

Clean, great prices, they cook food fresh daily and all day/night! Friendly staff, and they overload the plate with food! So generous!!! Good ol' yummy chinese food! Chefs are actually chinese :-) They do party trays and have boba too! Highly recommended! (Its right next to the best dental office in glendale too!)

The food is decent but you can tell it has been sitting there for a while. We were hungry and craving Chinese food so we came in to grab a quick bite. The service is good. Staff was friendly. The price for the combo was standard for two sides - $13. Good portions for the price. They get you good with the cost of the drinks. $6 for a bottled drink!!! Their soda machine is "out of order". I think if you are taking out not dining in - it is a good deal. Our total bill came out to be almost $80!!! 3 Combo A meals and four drinks.

Got the Chicken Chow Mein and General Tso"s Chicken. Both dishes were very good. The chow mein had the same taste profile which I am accustomed to while growing up. The General Tso"s Chicken was tender and flavorful. My buddy got the Chicken Chow Fun. Also, very tasty with good Wok hei. Service was very friendly. I'll be back to try their Salt and Pepper Fish.

Was pretty good. We ordered takeout but the inside looked clean. Better than average I would say but what do I know lmao.

We went in 45 minutes before they closed, tried to order over the phone and the lady encouraged us to come in to see the options. She was so so helpful, the options were amazing, and the portions were MASSIVE. Awesome place and awesome people, definitely a good spot to visit.

This place reminded me of the 90's Chinese fast food restaurants we used to go as kids. Not too many around me. Talk about nostalgia. Unfortunately, their food was terrible. 90% chicken options. Poor quality. If you want a lot of cheap, poor quality food then this is the place. I got the worse stomach ache. Threw away half of the food. Could not get through it.

Wong's Wok has a few locations (Silverlake, Glendale, Reseda) that serves fast food Americanized Chinese. It's quick, INEXPENSIVE, and better food then their competitors up and down this street - it's not that bad here. For $12.00 or so, you can get a combo meal with 2 entrees; your choice of fried rice or noodles (or a mix). These portions are double the size of Panda. Panda still has better orange chicken;however, the entrees here are flavorful. The noodles aren't mushy pretty tasty. They no longer serve char siu pork. This isn't gourmet Chinese food, but it's tasty for what it is: fast food Chinese-ish on the cheap.

Really good food, I only eat chicken and this had more than enough options for me to chose from other than just orange chicken. The price also is a little high but it is worth it because of how much food they give you. the service was also quick and the place we clean.

As far as Chinese fast food goes it's pretty good. Very large portions. The chicken wings are great. 4 stars is compared to other similar type of Chinese places. It's better than most. I always go back. Did I mention large portions?

Their food is has no taste at all aside from salty or sweet. Teriyake and black pepper chicken is like a pinch of salt in every bite. Orange chicken is like eating a cotton candy. Waste of money.

Was in a mood for fast food Chinese after a movie in AMC Americana at Glendale but wanted to try something different than Panda Express in the Glendale mall across the street and this place was near by.Ordered Combo A Fried Rice/Chow Mein w/ Orange Chicken & Pepper Chicken was $11.99 (very reasonable price with big portions).BUT the problem is none of it tasted FRESH at all so it's better sticking to Panda Express than coming here! Giving it 2 stars for clean place & friendly lady in front.

I have eaten here so many times that it would not be justice if I didn't give them their props. I love this place! When I first moved to the area, this was the closest and most accessible Chinese takeout food place near me. What I learned was this place is run by the sweetest people and they absolutely LOAD you up on portions. Seriously, if you order in store, they're smashing food down just to get the box to close. Pro tip: their salt and pepper tofu is amazing and not something offered on the precooked section. The food in general is Grade A takeout fast food, as long as you set proper epectations that it's fast food. I'll be coming back again and again.

Is it the best quality Chinese in the area? No, it's pretty average. It's still tasty, but there are places serving better food. I'd call it 3-star quality food with decent selection of items; a variety of chicken, beef, and fish dishes. The service is very friendly. The lady behind the counter has always been polite and courteous. The portion size is what makes this place worth trying. If you're down on your luck and looking for a lot of food for cheap, try this place. The styrofoam to-go box can barely be closed. I think they deserve a 4th star for that.

Chinese take out for those nights you just want to eat on the coach and watch TV. Expect just the right amount of quality that matches fast food. Friendly staff!

I love this place. The food is exactly what you think it is (essentially a mom & pop Panda Express) and the people behind the counter are always friendly. They have rice noodles as a third option instead of chow mein or rice and I always recommend as it won't leave you feeling as heavy. Orange chicken is bomb.com. That with some eggplant vegetables is a whole meal and there is always plenty for leftovers. A perfectly cromulent lunch option.

Drove over 14 hours to come watch the Rose Bowl, hadn't eaten in about 5 hours, and miraculously stumbled upon this wonderful establishment. The food; delicious, the environment; immaculate, the service; genuinely some of the nicest people I've ever met. I cannot recommend this place enough!

Overpriced. Ordered 3 item combo and extra rice. Paid $25 dollars. The 3 item combo was $16 and the rice was $9! You read that right- N. I. N. E. DOLLARS. So learn from me- Don't get the rice here. Go to zankou. Go across the street to the other Chinese place. Go to the Asian market next door... go to Thaiger down the street... go anywhere else where they charge you the normal $2-3 for a container of rice. When I asked the lady she said that's their price. Portion was smaller than other restaurants that sell the same things. But I think the server may have been distracted or she really was over it. She was just too busy sitting on the counter and talking on the phone the whole time she was serving me to really pay attention to what she was doing or charging. She even forgot my soup. Will never come back. I'm Asian.... And I love rice.... At this rate I'd be poor!

Restaurant was clean and there was good parking! Will definitely be coming here again next time we're in the area.

They don't clean the shrimp they use for wonton soup. I just called and asked and they said no we don't clean this shrimp

I use to patronize this outlet almost for sometime. But, my recent visit was a disappointment just as bad as the previous last month and the quality of food doesn't at all taste anything close to authentic chinese while true it is a Panda Express, a bastardized chinese cuisine. Moreover, their customer service is just as poor as their food quality.

Worst Chinese food in the area and probably in my life. The teriyaki chicken was just roasted chicken without any sauce. The chow mein I ordered was tasteless. There was literally NO SAUCE or seasoning. The brocolli beef just came the one ounce of beef and 10 broccoli stems. I think the cooks are literally just throwing ingredients together mindlessly. Wouldn't be surprised if the cooks had never tried Asian food in their lives. Please do yourself a favor and just go to Panda Express instead

I ordered food here the other day and It was pretty decent. I ordered some teriyaki chicken, orange chicken, mongolian beef, fried rice and chow mein. The teriyaki chicken wasn't the best, but everything else was decent. The rice and chow mein was very good. Giving three stars since I ordered to go, but will give it another try and I'm sure it'll be good if I eat at the restaurant. Service was great! I was greeted in the front with my food ready to go and the place inside was very clean, good vibes inside. Will give it another try next time!

This ain't it. Sorry to throw this here because it's getting more and more common, but I was upset to be paying like $14 now for some fast food chinese. Maybe I've grown out of it, but it became kinda forgettable halfway through the meal while I felt the grease slowly taking effect on my body. I would say skip this place. They give you good amounts of food but if you walk in at like 3pm like I did you might face what I did which was some food that wasn't really fresh. I'd praise this place if it was cheaper but it's not. Sorry
