Honestly, the worst wonton noodles I’ve had in London.
The prawn wontons were incredibly salty, not just over-seasoned, but uneven to the point where some bites were completely bland and others tasted like chewing on a salt rock.
The noodles weren’t even the correct type for Cantonese-style wonton noodles, which already set the dish up for failure. If you can’t make it properly, please don’t market it as Cantonese, using it as a gimmick is misleading.
To make things worse, the broth was both stingy and tasteless. There was barely any of it, and what little there was added no flavour at all, making the dish feel like dry noodles.
I genuinely felt scammed, especially after seeing so many Instagram reels hyping this place. It really makes you wonder how many of those were paid promotions rather than honest reviews.
That said, the restaurant design is lovely and the staff were great, two stars are for them.
