Wonton Hut has been around since 2010. They used to have a 2nd location downtown, but it has since closed down.
Ironically it’s beside McDonald’s. If looking for a quick service meal that is much healthier, then consider this eatery. It’s competitively priced. The only difference is you have to pay tip.
We were there almost to closing time 8PM, so they only had eggs noodles at the time. Vermicelli and rice noodles options are available earlier in the day. Eggs noodles are an acquired taste to some people.
1. Beef brisket noodles soup
Beef is tender.
2. Shrimps wonton noodles soup
Wontons are medium sized.
Even they were closing, we didn’t felt rush by the employees. They let us be.
This eatery can be somewhat busy during rush hour. Even near closing time, there were several customers dining in.
It’s not wheelchair accessible, but an employee rushed to open the door for us as we entered their double doors.
Pay either with cash or credit. Ample parking spaces. This is located in a plaza. There’s a Shoppers Drugs Mart, McDonald’s, Coco Tea, TD bank and No Frills within the same plaza complex. It’s a happening place.
