Tacoma Woobling is really good. The quality of food for AYCE is really nice. Servers are friendly and the price is reasonable as well. Each serving is small, but you can order 6 items every 7 minutes so it is fine for a table of 5-6.

Google
A bit skeptical after seeing some mixed reviews post-transition from Knot but the self-ordering system made the experience seamless and convenient. Bobby, our attentive waiter/bartender, elevated the meal with his friendly service, ensuring drinks were refilled. We opted for the premium. The soybean stew delivered deeply authentic comfort with its rich, savory broth, while the cold noodles were a refreshing standout ideal for balancing the grilled meats. Highly recommend for the price and taste!

Upon returning to the Pacific Northwest, I had lunch with my son at NotsWoobling Korean BBQ - Tacoma (formerly Knot), a newly opened all-you-can-eat Korean BBQ restaurant in the Tacoma Mall. The establishment offers exceptional value with a diverse menu, starting at a competitively priced $27 (though I anticipate a price increase given its competitiveness). Options range up to $49, including premium selections such as shrimp, while our choices included the standard baby octopus, beef bulgogi, and pork belly. The kimchi was particularly noteworthy, and the accompanying soju, a smooth 21% alcohol beverage comparable to vodka, complemented the meal. The interactive dining experience, featuring table-side cooking of raw meats, is enhanced by the shared menu requirement, allowing for unlimited refills of both meats and appetizers. The overall experience was exceptional, earning a five-star rating. I highly recommend Nots, especially for a shared dining experience. Like I always say, everything is better shared.

Went opening week. They're awesome. Good food. Highly recommend. I think the first few cuts were kinda tough I'm ngl. I think it was just a one off thing because the rest of the prime beef brisket cuts were good. There was 9 of us but they served us quick. 20% service charge for big groups.

Google
The quality of the meat was outstanding—perfectly marbled wagyu, tender prime ribs, and incredibly flavorful soy sauce-marinated crabs. The service was great and attentive, ensuring our grill was never empty and our drinks stayed full. Speaking of drinks, the $6 IPA was a steal, pairing beautifully with the bold flavors of the feast. The ambiance was lively yet comfortable. If you’re a meat lover, this place is a must-visit!!

Me and my children put our name on the waiting list at 8:58 p.m. there were several signs outside the building that said happy hour starts at 9:00 p.m. We were told by the manager Kelly that there was no happy hour and the sign was wrong and that the kitchen closed at 9:30. There were several menus that also said that happy hour was from 9:00 p.m. to close Monday through Friday for $19.95. Kelly stated that all the signs were wrong and that she did not know why they had made all the signs. She would not honor the sine of 1995 for the happy hour.

Seems like there are complaints about health & previous owners, and I know nothing about that. Prices were fair and the quality was good. I enjoyed my dining experience here. The options however are a little confusing and likely on purpose. For example, if you want lettuce, you'd need a more premium package 🤔

Google
Took our 3 kids (4yo, 2yo, and 7 month) and they really enjoyed the sides of rice and noodles and ate soooo many of the fish cakes! We loved everything even the spicy meats (which we didn’t think were spicy). Everyone was kind and on a Friday evening we didn’t have a wait, but we did come early… when leaving at 6:40 ish it was full. I think the only improvement (and maybe they have this and we didn’t see it) but we wish we had a seasoning tray to fix up the meat a bit more to our liking. For example make the “spicy” meats more of a spicy for our taste.

Yelp
Woobling was my first experience with Korean BBQ, and I loved it. It was great that there was little interaction with the servers because I was struggling yesterday, and peopling was hard. However, Kelly was very helpful when we did need her and has a wonderful smile. Yelp
Five stars - great This was my first time going to a Korean BBQ. We went in blind, so we had no clue what to do, what to order, etc. Our waitress was very friendly. She didn't do the best job of explaining how the menu worked (there was a little language barrier), but we ultimately figured it out. I'll do my best to explain how things work. Essentially, you can order a variety of meats and appetizers, which are separated into three categories. If you purchase the higher tier, you not only have access to the meats/appetizers of that tier, but also any tier below it. You get unlimited food for two hours. During that time, you can cook and eat a variety of meats that are available in your selected tier. You could order three dishes and three sides at a time. Despite not knowing how things worked, we had a great experience. We got the first tier ($35 per person), and we were satisfied with our options, but we will definitely get a higher tier next time we go. We got three rounds of food, and we were stuffed. It was really fun cooking the meats while we enjoyed our appetizers and drinks. This is the perfect restaurant for catching up with friends and family because you will be there a while. I would recommend going with an empty stomach. We will certainly be going back!

Yelp
Key takeaways: not worth the cost, portion sizes are not uniform, limited to 6 dishes every 7 minutes. Went to this restaurant for the first time about a week and a half ago. It was my wife and I with 2 friends. There was no wait to be served. They had plenty of tables open, but decided to sit us next to another group, and the booth side of the table only has one way to get in and out due to how they plumbed the gas lines. The waitress introduced herself and we let her knkw it was our first time there. She explained the menu and stated that they have a limit of 6 items max per order, and that we could reorder after 7 minutes. She stated the servings were good sized, so we ordered the premium. We got some rice, wagyu steak bites and beef strips. When the dishes came out it was surprising to us how small they were, considering there was 4 of us sharing the 6 items. The fried rice was good but was not big enough for 4. The steak bites weren't worth the premium cost, never had wagyu beef that was bristle and so fatty. The portion gave each of us 2 small pieces each. We ordered other items over the course of our dinner. About the 4th order we ordered another fried rice and some corn cheese. The corn cheese came out in a mini cast iron skillet which would have been good for one person, not 4. It was good. The second order of fried rice was twice the size of the first, and we only order 1 of it. We asked the waitress why the sizes seemed to be getting bigger the longer we stayed and kept ordering. She couldn't answer that question. That serving of fried rice made us watch the sizes of other dishes. In general, the sizes of the dishes were slowly getting larger the longer we ate. The only thing that makes sense with this business practice is they have on their menu any leftovers would be charged $25 per plate. So, they increase the chances of being able to do that by starting with small dishes that make you order more when the 7 minutes were up. As you get to the end of the meal, if you aren't careful, the serving sizes are so much, that you could easily fall into the trap they have laid. Oh, and you cant take the food you have to pay extra for home, no takeout. Ordering food was done via a table touchscreen which was not easy to navigate. Our waitress wasnt really paying much attention to things, especially when we wanted our check.

Yelp
Great new spot and location in Tacoma Mall. The restaurant is clean with nice ambiance. Sadly, the food quality was not the greatest, with mediocre cuts of meat. If you're looking for ambiance, then this is the best spot around. But if you're looking for higher quality Korean bbq, you're better off at New Gangnam BBQ and other Korean BBQs nearby.

Yelp
New BBQ spot in Tacoma Mall Area! The wait was roughly 10 minutes on a weekday evening for 2. The service was okay as well! The server occasionally check on us but we mainly used the call server button! We opted for the Signature choice selection and it was decently worth.. The meat/food portions per order are a good size for having a bite and trying a variety of different dishes! When the store is busy, it does take quite a long time for the meat/food orders to come out to our table.. but it's understandable. I would come again before their Grand Opening specials are over! Decent pricing!

Yelp
Gathered a group of friends here. Haven't been to the Tacoma mall in years. The majority of the meat selections were great, but some of the other side dishes were quite questionable. We had 5 at our table, and they all said the kimchi jjigae tasted like tomato soup. We also ordered one of the marinated meats, I forget which one, but we told our server we didn't like the taste of it because if you leave food behind, you have to pay. He brought the owner, or chef out, who asked a few questions but said it was fine to remove it from our table without billing it. They offer a variety of side dishes that our normal kbbq place didn't, so we wanted to try it out. I've been to the one in Bellevue with family so I already knew what to expect but it's nice to have another in the Tacoma area, I just absolutely hate mall parking. Come early so you get a table.

Yelp
Food is great! Price is great too! Can't beat $27 Wish there was more marinated options for the classic meals. And more sauces and sides!
google avatar

Yesenia G.

Yelp
To start, the food was definitely delicious, the sauces surprisingly were very good too usually i don't even touch them but i ended ip finishing mine. we split the cost between 4 people and the total was very cheap for us. Our server was amazing, funny and attentive . Explained the whole ordering processes, made sure we had any and everything we needed and constantly checked up on us! It was a Friday evening so it was quite busy, we did wait in line for about 20ish mins but again it is a new restaurant so there's going to be a crowd.

Yelp
Came here for a late Father's Days dinner. This is the second time here but this time, it was under new management. It is now AYCE. Not bad for the price but I felt that the side dishes were not that great, the service was mediocre, had to ask for water refills, and yeah just pretty much mediocre all the way around. Maybe if they stepped up the side dishes, it would've gotten a better rating for me. ...

Yelp
Absolutely appalling experience. We had one of the most disgusting and infuriating experiences at this restaurant. A cleaner carelessly threw a filthy, smelly black rag onto a black sofa seat. Unfortunately, one of our friends didn't notice and sat directly on it, which left their pants dirty and reeking. We immediately called for assistance. The cleaner didn't speak English, so a manager came over. Shockingly, instead of apologizing, the manager gave zero acknowledgment of any wrongdoing. He implied the mess was quickly cleaned up because our group was large, and somehow shifted the blame onto us -- as if it was our fault for sitting there. When we asked, "Are you seriously suggesting this is our fault?", the manager sarcastically responded with, "So what do you want me to do?" in the most dismissive tone. We were disgusted -- both by the filth and the attitude. We told him we were leaving, and he made a rude hand gesture signaling us to go, like he was happy to see us leave. Not a single word of apology from beginning to end. This is, without exaggeration, the worst customer service I've experienced in years. It ruined the entire mood for our group outing. I would strongly not recommend this place for any group gathering or celebration. The management is unprofessional and the attitude is downright offensive.

Yelp
Celebrating my nieces birthday, my husband and I treated her to Korean BBQ. There was a line that was about a 20 minute wait before we got seated for three. It was clear and unfortunate they were under staffed on a weekend. We ordered the signature meat option which has a great variety of various meat types. We ordered white rice to go with our meats. The wait for rice was 30 minutes and we were almost finished with our first round of meat before getting the rice at our table. When we ordered new meat options it arrived at the table quickly, but it was a bummer we had lots of meat with no rice that we ordered to make it a meal. I will try this place again in a few months once it's more put together, it seems the mall location may have new management?

Yelp
Portioning is terrible and having to wait in between having to order is insane, also being told that not enough grills so you can repl
google avatar

Terry T.

Yelp
Honestly this was the most disappointing Korean BBQ experience I've had. Something was just off with the quality of the meat ...it didn't taste fresh and the texture wasn't right either. While I understand that time limits for all-you-can-eat are common, the portion sizes here were surprisingly small. They also restrict how many plates you can order at once and make you wait a set amount of time before placing another order which felt frustrating and inefficient. Several dishes we ordered either came out extremely late or never arrived at all. To make matters worse, service was pretty lackluster. Since they automatically include gratuity regardless of party size, it felt like the servers weren't motivated to provide attentive or helpful service which unfortunately aligned with our experience. Wouldn't recommend this spot, especially with so many better options out there.

Yelp
Service was quick and friendly. Food was good. The corn, marinated rib, fried rice and jowl were standouts.

Yelp
We had the Grand Opening price of the Classic AYCE, great value, even at full price of $35.. Side dishes were all tasty, and the meats were good. Service is quite fast and all staff were attentive and friendly. Will definitely come back!
google avatar

Heather J.

Yelp
This was my first time back after their rebranding and I enjoyed it! The price, in my opinion, is more than reasonable since they have many options! We just went with the Classic, but I hope to come back and try the Premium! Place is still clean, good service, no complaints! I'd recommend giving it a try!

Yelp
My friend and I had lunch here yesterday. We opted for the basic Ayce menu. We ordered pork belly, top sirloin, bulgogi and chicken. The pork belly and top sirloin were our favorite. The banchan was a good basic variety that wasn't spicy. We also ordered a salad, gyozas and noodles. Everything came out quickly. They changed the grill a few times during our lunch. We had a great experience and will be back.
google avatar

Jeremy L.

Yelp
We went during happy hour Monday-Friday 11-3pm and got the happy hour AYCE for $19.99/person. It consisted of Brisket, Pork Belly, Pork Shoulder, and 3 different marinated/spiced chicken thighs. They have a tablet at each table to order. You order up to 6 items at a time. The meats were good quality. The sides (banchans) were great, especially the kimchi is freshly made since it has not become fermented yet. Our server Kelly was attentive and very hospitable. The grills had the intake built into the table. You won't smell like Korean bbq when you walk out. They have a really good ventilation system.
google avatar

Jean K.

Yelp
First time here, ordered the signature, $45/person. Seems like lots of food choices but once you start going thru the menu and you start eating, it is not good and you are left wondering what to order. Rib finger was too rubbery and hard, prime beef brisket was cut too big with too much fat making it hard to chew And barely able to swallow. Realizing meat quality was not good, started exploring non meat options. I mean we paid so we had to eat something. Kimchi fried rice had teriyaki sauce with frozen corns and peas, soy bean paste soup looked like soup with beef fat, sent it back only to have it back looking the same gross fatty soup again. Resulted in eating white rice and even tried pho and kimchi stew and they were both made with premade soup stock and left over beef fats. This place gives korean barbeque a very bad name. Was so excited to come here, the vibe was good but food was not even mediocre. Will not be coming here again.

Yelp
Amazing experience at Woobing AYCE. One of the best experiences we had. We were immediately seated and the server gave us a small break down on how to order on the tablet. We order the $27/per person box which was perfect size since we can't eat pork or seafood. We were full by the first round anyways. The staff was helpful and friendly. On the tablet attached to the table you can order up to 8 items (4 of which are protein) we loved all the sides that came with it including there house made kimchee (yumm) we got 2 rounds of that. They provided a change of your grill too you will need to the tablet and request it under "call server" really cool features and overall easy to access and use. We ordered the beef belly, steak cubes, beef bulgogi! All were perfect for us. Check it out before the prices change. Located on Tacoma mall parking near BJ's previous called The Knot! Total bill for both of us was $70 including tip.

Yelp
Food: Meat was good, but needed more flavour for the marinade meats. I make better, more flavorful asian marinades at home, and that's not a gun feeling. The spicy ones arent super spicy, but the flavour is way more on point as a whole. We mostly ordered these, even with a medium heat tolerance little girl with us. The sides... are all simple. There are much better sides at other Korean BBQ restaurants. It's, again, the lack of flavour more than the actual dish that's a problem. That said, you can get the basic for $30 per person, which during the grand opening, that's a great price. *** Edit: Went back, and it's improved, in some ways.
google avatar

Megan W.

Yelp
So 100% recommend to you if you love Korean bbq and great place to with family and spend some bonding time
google avatar

Toan T.

Yelp
This place has become one of our go-to's since changing from the Knot. Lots of options for cuts of meat and other non bbq dishes. Especially a fan of their Tofu stew. Very clean. Rarely had we have waited for extended period for seating. When putting orders in for next round of meat, it comes out fairly quickly. Pricing is extremely fair.

Nolan P.

Yelp
not bad. service is pretty good. they have a decent happy hour price. i like the house salad.

Yelp
So We won't be going back, and I cannot recommend it to my friends, but wanted to leave a review to explain why. We were having late lunch/early dinner, 3pm on a Wednesday. Two other tables were occupied in the restaraunt. We ordered the classic menu. It has a good amount of choices. Before tip is $59.56 for 2. The good: the restaurant was clean and the bathrooms are clean. The wait staff is really friendly. The less than good: The food simply doesn't taste good. I can get better fish cakes at the grocery store. The brocoli salad was odd, and the potato salad is just cold mashed potatos with some canned corn. Super bland and just not great. There is an older Asian lady who kept asking us if we were finished yet? When in fact... no we weren't finished yet we just had to wait a long time between food sets. In fact we almost left. And when i complained two meats were brought out at the same time (after about 25 min) when the food was brought out the same lady who kept asking if we were done came by when our food arrived and turned our grill down so low the food wouldn't cook. That was super odd. I just turned it back up so the grill was hot enough. Is that strategy or incompetence? I'm not sure. If there is a 2 hour maximim and they let you order once every 15 minutes but only bring the food out every 25 minutes and have the grill so low it doesn't cook well??? We had time for questions. There are much better flavorful choices for Korean BBQ on STW. My husband and I had time to chat while waiting for food that we don't think this place will survive with the way they run the business now. This is probably super American but I like rice with my meat. It came after the first round was over. It was hard and luke warm. There is no seasoning on any kind on anything here. We asked for chili sauce. It never came. If you like mediocre bulgogi you will find it here.

Yelp
Food was good no complaints. Service was okay. They didn't come to our table as much as we liked. And a lot of stuff that we ordered didn't end up coming which was fine because we were very full. Loved their ordering system. Each table had a tablet to order food so we didn't need to interact with our server. Quality of their meats were great. I would compare this place to Gen KBBQ but a bit better in terms of quality. Overall I think they just need to make sure every item ordered gets delivered and checking up on their customers more often! Solid spot would come again. Also I hate their chopsticks. They're very heavy and hard to grab stuff with. Ended up asking for a fork for the first time ever at KBBQ

Sophia T.

Yelp
Bella Thorne is an awesome and attentive staff member! She made our experience here so fun and enjoyable. I'd rate 4 star, but with Bella as our person.. it's a 5 star! There was no wait and we never were without even with the 7 minute delayed ordering time. We did the Classic food menu for AYCE $27. It was good. We had our fill of brisket, pork belly, steak along with cocktails. The meats were okay. The marinated meats lacked flavor but we were able to get more sauces to flavor them up a bit more. The environment is clean and bright. It's very hip and contemporary. The bar is beautiful. Cocktails were good. The staff members also changed out our drill often so it wouldn't be too smoky. That was very nice.

Kylee M.

Yelp
If we could leave a "no star " review we would- We arrived around 7:15 added our party of 4 to the waitlist. We were quoted 14-24 minute wait; that turned into a 45 minute wait. Understandable people want to relax - Once seated our server quickly ran through the ordering process. We had a few questions and had to flag our server down, which proved to be difficult. After we placed our initial order, we received a mystery meat. We ordered the beef bulgogi and received what appeared to be some form of pork. And if it was the beef - just don't order it and we hope we survive what we did it - Our drinks took quite some time to get to us, along with our white rice order. Upon further inspection our rice had a hair in it. At that point we probably should have called it quits - being from culinary backgrounds we try to be understanding but this ship was sinking quick. We again, flagged down someone to explain and to ask for new rice to which then he never returned. We had to ask our server for the new rice and eventually got a small scoop of rice in a small dish, not the comparable size of the rice we initially ordered. Portion sizes were inconsistent. Meat was poor quality -We didn't receive at least four of the items we ordered. The whole experience was as lackluster. It took 25+minutes to get our check. Only after we had to ask the hostess to find our server and ask for the check- The server was nowhere to be found and the other waitstaff were busy with their own tables. 0/10 would not recommend if you're looking for prompt service, consistent portion sizes and to get all the things you actually ordered.

Dianne C.

Yelp
Our server was kind of all over the place. Kept forgetting our drinks. One of the drinks ended up free in the end because he literally didn't bring it till we were finished eating. They have three options to choose from. We went with the second one because the the basic option didn't have good options. I don't even think they had chicken. You can order 3 meats at a time and obviously whatever you don't eat, they charge an extra $25. Long story short, I've had better and won't be returning.

Ty B.

Yelp

Yelp
Food -was ok some little need more marination . Service , is ok they're be times we will wait for a while .. Ambiance is new so it's good, just that they open some doors making the place very cold !

Yelp
Was good but I wish they would let you order more at a time, felt like we was waiting more than eating

Natty S.

Yelp
Absolutely disgusting, there was a piece of steel wool in our meat. We brought to the attention of what appeared to be the manager. He did not seem to care, did nothing to correct the situation, didn't offer a comp, voucher, nothing. We will not be returning, be ware because food safety clearly isn't a priority for them. No wonder their food rating is only "okay"

Yelp
Great food and awesome service. I'm not sure why people complain about the service so much, the waiters/waitresses are extremely friendly and always check up on our table. Would definitely comeback!

Yelp
My expertise: I grew up eating korean food and make korean food at home daily. Food: we ordered the premium 4.8/10. Flavor was ok but they didn't bring any of the items to make a complete k bbq. They actually brought out four pieces of lettuce as one of the six items you are allowed to request at a time. You have to wait 15 minutes between ordering items. We are meat without rice or the lettuce. The banchan (sides) were 2.6/10. Many things were not seasoned on the sides unfortunately. There weren't any deserts to order. Service: very friendly 9/10 service of food 1.5/10 at one point one of the six items we ordered was lettuce, they brought out four pieces laying in a row. I was shocked they would bring something like that to the table. Several items we ordered did not come to the table. One of the soups we ordered had the wrong seasoning for the dish. They do it change the pans as they should causing you to slow down eating (perhaps a tactic for the two hour limit). If you bring more than two people you will run out of time to eat if you're actually having conversation. It's a rush to order/wait/cook/eat. Ambiance: everything was new 8/10 there was still old signage up from another business but. Definitely give them kudos for cleanliness. Overall, we MIGHT try this place one more time in a few months when it's found its groove. Hopefully they can tighten up the food service :)

Yelp
Meat was nice quality, came out fast, server was very attentive. Missed some items but came out when we reordered. Thought the 6 item at a time limit was not enough but it worked out well. We were stuffed. Would come again for ayce

Yelp
Best KBBQ in Tacoma!!! Very reasonably priced for AYCE and meat quality is top notch! Service is always good but if you want the best ask for Bobby! Atmosphere is very nice as well!

Yelp
Good food, interesting rules and this place gets it right on both fronts. Every dish felt carefully crafted, with flavors that kept me curious from first bite to last. The menu isn't just good; it's smart, surprising, and fun to explore. You can tell they care about quality and creativity. Service was friendly without being overbearing, and the atmosphere had just the right energy -- cozy but lively. It's not often you find a spot where the food makes you think and crave more. I'll definitely be back, and I'm bringing friends. Highly recommend for anyone who loves flavor and flair.

Absolutely amazing food! I love Korean bbq and this place was PERFECTION! My family and I had an amazing time and ate phenomenal food! The service was top tier! We never waited for anything and the owner himself came out and showed us how the OGs do it! He personally cooked our food and gave us many ideas of ways to eat each item. The ambiance was more than we could have possibly asked for. The decor is beautiful, huge big screen TVs playing real kpop and different modern/current Korean music and it was BUMPIN! A whole vibe! We ABSOLUTELY will be back! 10 out of 10 recommend!!!

Yelp
Very nice restaurant, ambiance. Delicious food. Get the premium, it's worth it. The marinade on the diff meats is great. Friendly service. I will come back and I do recommend.

Yelp
Hello everyone, I'm a frequent visitor to Woobling Korea BBQ near Tacoma mall, having been here eight times with my wife. We absolutely love this place, and it's become our go-to spot for Korean BBQ. Compared to Knot, Woobling offers better value with their all-you-can-eat options priced at $29, $39, and $49. While it may not be ultra-premium, I'd say it's above-average, high-quality AYCE Korean BBQ. We'll definitely be back at least once a month. My personal favorites are the sliced prime brisket, sliced pork belly, Bugoli beef, marinated short ribs, marinated sirloin, fried chicken wings, mixed fried rice, cheese corn, and butter shrimp, just to name a few! They let you order on a touch screen, which is right beside your table, which I finds very convenient and useful, order away whenever you are ready for next meats and no more waiting on waitresses to take in more of your orders!

Yelp
The food at Woobling is excellent. Went with my family and we all enjoyed the beef brisket and pork belly. Perfect portions to get enough to try before ordering more of what you really like. The service was extremely friendly and welcoming. They provided service without being overly present. Definitely a newer restaurant with how clean and organized everything was. Would definitely recommend for anyone who likes or is craving Korean bbq!

Yelp
If I could give this place 0 stars I would. I don't know if it was because of the grand opening or what but I came in at 8pm tonight 2 hours before closing there was about 10-12 tables in there but more than 5 servers on. Firstly we walk in no one is there to greet you, you sign in with an iPad whatever. But then after 10min someone came to grab us when they sat us down he sat us and left without saying anything. We've never been here before (as most, considering it's a grand opening) and there's another tablet on the table not working we don't know what to do we had to flag our server down to tell us how everything worked and to start the iPad for us. Then we finally put in an order .... The portions are ridiculous I understand not wanting to waste food but when there's 3 grown ups at a table (and u can only order 3 meats at a time ) they bring u about 10 thin slices of beef 3 mussels and then take another 20min to bring u your next round. Then we had our meat and sides and we were waiting on rice for at least 15min after our meat was cooked, no our server had forgotten about us cause we saw her serve 2 other tables their rice before us and they sat down after us. We finally get rice and get to eating it's now 9pm we've had 1 round and we ask for another thing of rice... our waiter says they're out for the night. 1 hour before closing NO RICE FOR KBBQ ???!? As she's telling us that our grill keeps cutting off our fire won't stay lit. At this point I'm over it I don't want to eat anymore without any rice and we've been here an hour and barely ate which for Ayce I expect more. I ask for a manager cause there's just to many thing going wrong they tell me they have no manager ..... they send they're lead over and it also seems like the only person who fully understand English and he offers $16 off our $100 tab after we ate 1 cup of rice each 3 mussels and a few pieces of beef. The side dishes also weren't great so we barely ate those. I just feel robbed of $75 for a lack luster experience I will NEVER come back here when Korean palace on south Tacoma way has WAYYY better food better service and better portions I actually leave that place feelings full. The knot restaurant sign (the kbbq that was there before them ) is still on the door! If yall aren't ready to open and don't have the staff then don't! Cause this was a terrible experience.

Yelp
Went in today for a late lunch/early dinner. Was excited for the all you can eat $27 dollar thing and found out its only the basic small foods. That sucked but it was whatever so we upgraded to one a few dollars more and it wasn't too bad. The beef ribs were a little fatty though.. and not in the way they're supposed to be. There was also some pork item i ordered that was really stale tasting when cooked and had a horrible old chip like texture. The waitress was awesome though and was pretty helpful and explained how the place worked well. Only issue is that they left out the part where tell you that leaving just a few raw meats left when you leave is a 25% FEE?!!!! When we let them know we werent told, they said it was on the menu, which we found it was. IN TINY LETTERS IN THE CORNER. anyways.. with all the untold fees and extras they charge for without notifying you, i wont be coming back. For that much money, i can get better korean bbq somewhere else.
