Google
Absolutely unreal l, and took my top slot for chicken sandwiches on my daggone life. I had the Sando (Level 3). The chicken was juicy with a perfect crust and seasoned to perfection. Level 3 was pretty hot, but will go one level higher next time as I like very very hot food. Service was fast and friendly....and fortunately not too busy when I arrived. I highly recommend.

Customer service: 5.5/10 cashier was kind of standoffish and was reluctant to explain some menu items Ordered: Sando level 2, Fries lv 1, Peach tea + lemonade Sando: 10/10 never had such a well seasoned and fried chicken sandwich. I'm usually not a fan of slaw, but the slaw complimented the sandwich perfectly. Level 2 is a nice slice level and I don't see the point of going past 3. Fries: 10/10 well seasoned and fried perfectly Peach tea is extremely sweat, lemonade just as sweet so be careful doing half and half. Overall I would return for the food.

Google
So flavorful. Level 2 had a nice kick to it. The side of pickles is a must. The atmosphere is kinda meh, so not great for date night. But this is a hidden gem for sure. Best chicken I’ve had in the DMV.

Google
Wow... if you go come hungry!! Got sando and waffel fries and was NOT disappointed. Food is tasty and was quite good. Place is a bit run down but with food like that, it's okay!!

Not going to lie, the chicken and waffles was exceptional. Flavorful, spicy, and sweet at the same time. Has a hole in the wall feel! Must try.

Google
Best Spicy Chicken Tenders ever! We at least go to this place once a week. So delicious and Spicy tenders, Their hot levels range from classic to Code Blue where classic is not hot( spice level) to code blue( Extreme hot) I’ve tasted code blue and literally had a liter of water after that and had few candies. We usually order Code Red( spice levels) are crazy high. They give white bread and pickles with the tenders, the staff is so friendly and not pricy too. I like their waffles too. They have beers and sodas too. If you ever want to eat spicy chicken tenders, this is the place.

Google
Always great spicy chicken. The Sando sandwich is wonderful but we usually order the tenders - lots of chicken that you can do several things with. Waffle fries are awesome, you'll love the slaw and pickles. Not a lot of space inside, but we usually carry out anyway. Highly recommend.

Google
Its halal. They have halal signs as soon as you enter in but they also sell beer from what i can tell. As for the food, i ordered sando sandwich and chicken tender with waffle fries. The chicken tastes really good. Its crunchy and soft. Really enjoyed it with the sauce. I got level 3 i believe which i one down from the really hot level.

Yelp
Listen listen listen.... I don't know what just happened, but I had my eyes closed and I was on a magical journey the entire time I was eating that Sando. That was hands down the best chicken sandwich I've ever had, hell maybe even the best chicken product I've had. The lady at the counter was friendly, the food was made fresh, and everything on it PERFECTLY complimented the experience. Just wow.

Yelp
My wife had seen chatter online about this place, so she was excited to try it, and so was I. We got medium and mild chicken strips, with a side of fries. My wife ordered the single strip which comes in a bun, and I got 3 strips which comes on a slice of bread. Basically served like the many Nashville Hot Chicken places popping up all around the region. First off, I was hoping for some bone in chicken, which they don't have. That is OK, because I have had some amazing strips at other places. The first strip I had was a bit dry. My wife's was not, so there was a bit of inconsistency. The seasoning on the chicken tasted like it was just straight up chili pepper powder. There was no depth or layer to the flavor. It just wasn't appetizing, it needed something else, some more dimension to the flavor. The fries were good, crispy waffle fries. They were a highlight of the meal. I like Nashville Hot, but I would have to recommend Roaming Rooster if you like this style of chicken. The medium at Roaming Rooster was over the top hot (with an interesting spice blend), medium at Woo Boi was really medium. It was OK, but not up to the hype my wife said she read about Woo Boi.

Yelp
Grabbed dinner with a friend at this spot. This was his selection. I felt like overall it's a pretty limited menu. The food was alright, not really my thing. But they definitely draw a crowd for carry out, pick ups, and dine in. While dining in, something from the ceiling did drip on my friend, which was gross. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Personally, I prefer Zaxbys for my chicken.

Yelp
My mouth was ON FIRE. if you want to hate yourself try the code blue. I had a fry and I honestly thought I was having heart palpitations for 20 minutes. Okay but besides that wooboi was fantasticccc. Worth the price. Got the level 1 sandwich and boy was that thiccer than oatmeal. Definitely want to get the sauce with it too. Definitely compliments the mild spice and crunchiness. I'm drooling and sweating just thinking about it

Dakota M.

Yelp
This place tastes amazing! Always a splurge to these spicy flavors. I like the fact they have curly fries, waffle and okra! We got the sando this time level 3 and it did not disappoint! We also got chicken tenders with no spice level to split with kiddos. I like that you can order ahead on the website to reduce time waiting. They even give an option to support the community now with as little as .25 cents and up to whatever donation you'd like.

Yelp
HOLY CHICKEN. So I thought the sandwich was just sitting on the edge of the wrap. NO. THERE WAS MORE. That sandwich was H U G E. Like 2 in 1. I shared with my husband, which was necessary considering the size. The taste was amazing. We got level 1 because we weren't trying to die. The chicken is crunchy and well seasoned. The sauce and toppings really compliment the chicken. The fries were delicious and seasoned well. SO LET ME TELL YOU ABOUT CODE BLUE. This was the hottest level. We just wanted a taste of the spiciness . They were super cool and gave us a single fry with the hottest seasoning to try it out. When I say pain. I mean PAIN. That was so spicy, I couldn't talk for like 20 minutes. To whoever gets code blue on their sandwich, I have so much respect for you. I do wish this place had more space for people to sit. It got pretty busy. Maybe a future expansion? The staff were super nice and accommodating. Thanks for the good food!

Annie C.

Yelp
I've heard good things about this place and was expecting fried chicken, but it's mostly just tenders and sandwiches. As someone who lacks tolerance for spicy, classic was perfect and level one was too spicy. We got a bunch of fries and tenders, and we were all soo full and couldn't finish anything. That is how unexpected the portions were. The fries were a bit too overdone and too hard, but we loved the sauce. There seems to be so many workers for such a little place, but this is definitely a quick casual meal.

Ellie D.

Yelp
I clove how friendly and helpful the staff are! The gal working the cashier helped us get a feel for the understanding of the heat levels and have honest feedback when we asked about the lemonade and if the fries or pickles were better. They looked very busy with takeout orders but despite that we got our order pretty quick. What we got: Sando (level three) - 4* this is a big sandwich. The chicken is cooked to perfection and the sandwich wasn't too greasy which is always tough when it comes to chicken sandwiches. The comeback sauce is a mayo-based sauce, the same as the dipping saice for the fries and pairs pretty well with the sandwich. I liked the slaw and pickles a lot, they really helped round out the flavor. Level three spice wasn't too bad. Enough to leave a tingle but not enough to make me stop eating. Torta (level two) - 5* this was the winner of the night. It looks smaller, which it is, but that's because it's a chicken tender, not a breast, and the price reflects that as well. The somi sauce is a cilantro-lime based sauce and was delicious. Level two spice was really good, flavor wise, and perfect for someone whoncant really handle spice but still wants a bit of it. Fries - 4* my partner really liked the fries. I thought they were very good too, but the flavoring, while good, was a bit much for me and I couldn't eat too much.

Yelp
I know it's personal preference but it's just everything I hate a handheld sandwich to be. It was an obnoxiously large piece of chicken with an obscene amount of sauce causing the bun to fall apart before I was half way through with the sandwich. I tried to eat it with the plastic fork and knife they provide but it would t even cut through the chicken. Extra star for nice service and tasty lemonade.

Yelp
A few months back, my wife and I were staying across the street at one of the hotels, looking for local takeout. I had checked my Yelp bookmarks and saw that I had saved a Wooboi in Alexandria. The first thing that stood out to me was the quality of the customer service. We had ordered our food relatively close to when they were closing, and the staff was even cleaning up when I went in to pick up the food, but that did not matter; they were super friendly and wanted to make sure we had everything we needed for our takeout order. From the second you stepped in, the staff ensured I had an update on my order and tending to other customers. Now, getting to the food. My wife and I are big fans of Nashville-style chicken sandwiches and enjoy the location's variances. What stood out to me were the spices used on the chicken and how moist the fillet was. The taste of the chicken had a little flare to it that I hadn't had before, and each bite was super flavorful. We ordered two different spice levels (Level I & II), and I thought they were both on point. The fries were great as well, and with the comeback sauce, it's super tasty. The location is right off the freeway, and there is a lot of construction in the area. It might be limited if you need parking, but by driving around the lot, you can nag a spot. There's a surprising amount of restaurants in this little shopping center.

Yelp
Wooboi Hot Chicken is hands down my favorite place for hot chicken in the area. The flavors are bold, the spice level is just right, and the chicken is always perfectly crispy and juicy. But what really takes their hot chicken to the next level is the apple cider slaw. It's the perfect refreshing side dish to balance out the heat of the chicken. The combination of the spicy chicken and the tangy, crisp slaw is absolutely mouthwatering. If you're a fan of hot chicken and looking for a place that knows how to do it right, Wooboi Hot Chicken is a must-try. Trust me, you won't be disappointed!

Mark S.

Yelp
Ordered online because I wanted to try this place after hearing so much about it. I ordered the code red (second hottest). I love spicy foods and code red really had a kick to it. I was sweating but was able to eat the whole delicious sandwich. The portions are huge. I felt like my chicken sandwich had two chicken patties in it or something. The macaroni was just ok. Tasted like a cheesy salad. Cole slaw was good and lots of onions in it. The chicken tenders are also huge. The fries were delicious as well but the star is the chicken sandwich. I don't know if I could handle code blue. And I hear you have to sign a waiver. Maybe I'll just stick with code red for now. Unless they have samples of code blue or something.

Naz S.

Yelp
By far the best seasoned chicken I have ever had. I can handle a little spicy but my old lady heartburn has made me taper back a bit on the spice level, so I ordered a level one Sando with a side of waffle fries tossed in level one. What I love about this place is that they use antibiotic free chicken and it shows! The piece of chicken was perfectly cooked and seasoned. Juicy and flavorful. There was a sweet brown sugar aspect to the rub that reminded me of a dry rub on some ribs that was spectacular. The fries were perfectly crispy and hot! What a find! If he eating here every day if I could (damn you cholesterol). Give them some love! Also, location wise. In a small shopping center in a more remote area a little over a mile away from Reston town center. About .2 miles away is juicy brewery which is the perfect spot to take your chicken and enjoy some beers!

Serena X.

Yelp
Honestly super impressed with their chicken and definitely lived up to the hype! I got the junior sandwich code red - right up to my spice expectations, and I admit I had to take a few breaks between eating. The crust has a dry rub and is crispy with a still tender interior. The mayo type sauce is helpful for cooling it down as well. Not much seating inside, but great for grab and go.

Srushtee P.

Yelp
A fantastic local spot for delicious spicy chicken sandwiches. With that said we had chicken sandwiches.. Which were awesome! I opted for level 1 for the spice and It was just the right amount of heat. Sandwiches look smaller in the picture but they were surprisingly big. Every person I interacted with at the restaurant was very pleasant. It's bittersweet that I discovered this place on the last day of my trip but I will visit there again and again whenever in the area.

LaKisha B.

Yelp
Wooboi is what I said after taking my first bite! So a few of my coworkers were talking about Wooboi and how good it was so I had to see what the hype was all about. Let's just say I GET IT! Just delicious. I mean I don't mind making that 45 min drive for good food, ok?! I ordered the Barahona, which is a grilled cheese sandwich (2 of them) and large chicken tender. I wasn't sure how it was going to taste considering it's different and not a norm for me but I mean if I'm going to try something, I'm going to go all out! For the heat, I selected 2 - medium. There is a range from 1-6 with 6 being the hottest. I'm not built for that but kudos to those who are. I also ordered some of the waffle fries. Big portion size. The sandwich comes with a sauce, which added to the awesomeness of the sandwich. The service was great. They were super welcoming and patient with me as I placed my order. The place is a decent size with a good amount of seating. They have two locations (that I know of) in this area so if you're ever in Herndon or Alexandria and want a bomb chicken sandwich, please visit them.

Joe T.

Yelp
Interesting concept that I really liked! The portions of food are ginormous but oh, so delicious. I had the chicken and waffles , and it did not disappoint. If I remember correctly, I selected the 2nd highest heat level which was adequate for me, a spicy food lover. Overall, if you're in their area, definitely check them out! Oh, thanks go to my brother René for introducing me to this place!

Hyewon L.

Yelp
Got the sando and the Choi boy fries. But we did not finish the sando - medium level. Had higher expectations because of the reviews. But I did not like the spice or curry flavor they have going on. I was surprised by the size of the Choi boy fries. I liked the fries and the pickles complimented each other but nothing outstanding.

Nancy H.

Yelp
I can confidently say the best fried chicken sandwich that I've had in my life. I was a bit surprised at how it was $12 but when my sandwich came out it made sense. The portions are crazy huge and the chicken is ginormous. I loved everything about the fried chicken, it was spiced so lovingly and had a perfectly crispy coating. The chicken was so moist that the juice was seeping out. The slaw and pickles on top are the perfect thing to add some balance to the sandwich. Came here for lunch and was full even during dinner time. Not the most seating indoor so probably a better place to do carry out.

Alicia A.

Yelp
Long sigh... well woo boi you have really done it this time. No comeback for keto sando. The counter stated I must declare about not adding comeback sauce on sandwich. It's not listed on the menu ,WTH . You have to recharge me for the sandwich done correctly.

Darren D.

Yelp
Went here with a few friends during a reunion and it was great. The spice levels are on the spicier side, I can usually tolerate spice really well but when I ordered the 2nd lowest spice level, I still found myself struggling at times. That being said, my friend with the highest spice tolerance out of my whole group ordered the 2nd highest spiciest level and was on his knees after. The spices here are not to mess with! Other than that, the service was great but the restaurant could have been a bit more clean

Fay Y.

Yelp
I ordered to go and I didn't get chance to take photos but it was so great! I ordered Sando Sandwich (level 2), Choi fries and chicken tender. Add coleslaw and comeback sauce to Choi fries ( I saw someone's Yelp review!). My boyfriend thinks this is the best fried chicken sandwich he has ever had. The fried chicken is so crispy even the tender tasted good on the second day after we reheated it.

Owen W.

Yelp
Simple menu, but that just lets them concentrate on doing spicy chicken to perfection. Don't over-order because you get a lot of food for a great price. I definitely order "gringo" level of spiciness, but you can really kick it up

Jamie O.

Yelp
The biggest problem I have with this is that yelp doesn't offer an ultimate blue star rating. This is hands down some of the best chicken I have ever had. HOWEVER, there was one downside: 1. Very small. This is a hole in the wall kind of place so seating is extremely minimal, plan ahead in case they don't have open seating. Other than that the staff were super friendly and helpful. We got the chicken tenders and I forget which sandwich. The tenders (3) are HUGE! It was amazing, considering the quality, taste, and price. They were fresh and hot, not over cooked so still juicy on the inside, while being super crispy on the outside. These are practically entire chicken breasts so again, they aren't small. The flavor was perfect, I got a level 3 spicy and it was unlike any other flavor I've had on chicken tenders. It was almost curry smelling with a nice kick of spice and paired with their sauce...12/10. I am almost at a loss of words on how good (I think) this chicken is. Don't want the world knowing but these guys deserve to spread their gift!

Oscar R.

Yelp
Looking at photos on Yelp of other Nashville style chicken sandwiches, this looked like the best place by far compared to the others in the area near Fairfax. I have to say, this sandwich was pretty good, which is why I'm giving it a 4 star rating. I will explain the reason why below. I ordered the "Sando" which comes with a fried chicken breast, cider slaw, butter pickles, and comeback sauce on a bun. I ordered the level 2 spice level, which I thought was perfect. I typically have a high tolerance for chile spice, but I think a 3 would've been to spicy. A level 3 would have been spicy enough to set my mouth on fire and interfered with my ability to really taste and enjoy the sandwich. Unless you routinely eat habanero chilies like you're eating candy, level 2 is a safe bet and tolerable spice level. First, the chicken breast and sandwich was huge! If you have a big appetite like myself, this will definitely fill you. If you have a small to normal appetite, this could feed 2, maybe even 3 people with smaller appetites, especially if you add fries. The chicken wasn't dry, but wasn't juicy either, and the "comeback" sauce was ok. I felt the seasoning on the chicken was good, but lacking something, maybe a little saltiness. The thing that really made the sandwich stand out to me was the cider slaw and the butter pickles. It mixed really well with the overall flavor of the sandwich and helped to enhance it. In fact, had I known they sold the cider slaw as a side, I would have ordered it. But instead I ordered the macaroni salad, which I will review next. I thought the macaroni salad was terrible. As a matter of fact, it was so bad, I couldn't even force myself to eat it, because I hate throwing away food. The macaroni salad tasted like it was mixed with the butter pickle juice (vinegar) or something like that. The taste was awful! Save your money and don't buy it! The waffles fries were really good. Crispy on the outside, soft and warm on the inside, and perfectly seasoned. Would definitely order them again. And the 3 tender order at a level 2 spice level. These tenders were massive. Again, could probably feed 2-3 people depending on your appetite. They tasted pretty much like the chicken in the chicken sandwich. My kid devoured 2 of them and expressed how good they were. In conclusion, this chicken sandwich place appears to be one of the best for the area, but unfortunately for this place, I've had really good chicken sandwiches from elsewhere, so when I compare the two, this place gets a 4 star rating. See my review of "Houston TX Hot Chicken" in Vegas if you're ever in that area.

Yelp
Back again 1 year later! Still great, still spicy and still coming back almost every week! I used to get level 3 spiciness but lately I've been getting Code red and it's so spicy I love it! It's hard to find a fried chicken place with actual spicy seasoning AND the fried chicken is juicy!? It's really a 11/10 place. I've just got the fried chicken sando on a Tuesday night and I have to say Weekdays they are way less busy and the sando and tenders are prepared nicer. Being said I recommend you to go on weekdays/week nights! We actually took my in laws, friends, and my family there already, all loved this place once they tried it! Parking is easy. A parking lot shared with other restaurants/ cafes. We never had a problem finding parking. Although driving here is a little annoying sometimes but it's worth it!

Marcia G.

Yelp
Wanted a cheap good place for after my son's soccer game. Looked at the reviews and choose this place. It was fantastic. Simple menu, delicious food. I had the level 2 which was perfect for me. My son had the classic sando and said it was the best chicken sandwich he's ever had. I don't normally like waffle fries but these were golden, flavorful, and delicious.

Ankush K.

Yelp
Vegan Friendly: No Exterior and Interior: The Exterior it easy to miss because they use a generic sign for all the restaurants in the strip mall. But going inside it is a fun and well-decorated place! The colors are fun, go with the theme, and once you enter you know exactly what you are getting into. The menu is also minimal and easy to read which is always a plus The big con I have is the seats are not good, they hurt after a while and are not super comfortable. Food Breakdown: * Chicken Sandwich (3.5/5): So I have been on a journey to find the best chicken sandwich in the area as I have tried all of the major fast food sandwiches, Hangry Joes, Roaming Rooster, Hot Chicken Kitchen and I will say this is pretty high on the list. The chicken was well cooked, got a lot of meat for what I paid for and the peanut oil is pretty solid. I will say though that I wish it was a little saucier in nature and they need to work on their heat level because I ended up getting Level 3 and it literally was not spicy at all. Portion Size: Good size! Price: Good Price I would say Service/Food Delivery: The employees were really nice! But I will say the place needs to be cleaned a little bit because the employees didn't really care too much. Granted this was at 8 pm and the store closes at 9 but still, they should take it seriously because it felt a little grimy. Would I go Back: I am very glad that I got a chance to try it and get it off my list but I don't really think I will go back again just because Hangry Joes is much closer and I find them a little better than Wooboi. But a solid chicken place without a doubt.

Jacob C.

Yelp
It's simply the best in northern Virginia. The best chicken sandwich, the best chicken tenders, the best waffle fries, everything. There aren't many chicken restaurants that care out near Herndon, but right on the edge of Herndon and Reston is a spot that serves Nashville style chicken exactly how it should be. It's all fresh, hot, delicious, and generously sized, making for one of the finest little spots in the area. I made the grave error of getting all my friends and loved ones hooked on this place, and now they beg to have me take them again. However, sharing the joy is a blessing, and there is a lot of joy to be had in every tender bite of Wooboi's hot chicken

Brian F.

Yelp
Best chicken sandwich in the DMV. Hands down. Obviously my own opinion, but I feel like if you try the Sando (level 3) you'll understand that this is one of the most flavorful, juicy, deliciously spicy chicken sandwiches currently in existence in this wonderful earth. Make sure you get some waffle fries with comeback sauce and this makes one of the most delicious, comforting chicken sandwiches you'll have in your life! The store itself is pretty small, and you order at the counter but every experience has been wonderful with friendly people behind the counter there to help if you have any questions! Highly, HIGHLY recommend this restaurant!

Amy R.

Yelp
OH. EM. GEEEE. That was one of the best sandwiches I have ever eaten in my life. No pickles, though, no way. Humongous. Will split in future...SO GOOD.

Rathvon M.

Yelp
When Wooboi Hot Chicken first opened their doors, my wife and daughter stopped to have lunch. They both ordered a sandwich at level 1 (just to be safe). When they got their sandwiches, they were not edible due to the excessive spice and heat. Something clearly went wrong, however it was such a bad experience they vowed to never return. This also meant it was off limits for future dinner suggestions. Believe me, I tried. Weeks, months and years passed. The mere mention of Wooboi set off a passionate recollection of the horrors experienced that day, many moons ago. My requests were immediately rejected and the denial pushed me into a dark place where hot chicken never existed. Fast forward to this past week. My wife and I were trying to decide what to pick up for dinner one night and she was finally convinced to give Wooboi a second chance. Forgiven, but not forgotten, I went to work quickly before she changed her mind. Hallelujah! I ordered using the online ordering system. I have to admit it is kind of clunky, but I kept at it and finally figured it out. Keep in mind, my window was closing fast before the likely event that my wife would change her mind. No Apple Pay Wooboi? Dammit man!! So many buttons, so many scrolls, so many clicks. Faster!! Faster!! Seeing that most people use their phones to order, the addition of Apple Pay would be really helpful. To pay, I had to fish my credit card out while sitting in a dark car. Not cool. It is 2023, after all. When I arrive to pick up, I was greeted by a very helpful (and cheerful) employee. She immediately checked on the progress of my order and assured me it would be ready soon. It was....and it was nice and hot when she bagged it up. It remained nice and hot for when I arrived home to my hungry wife. We each ordered a sandwich. Based upon her last experience, she got the level 1 and I ordered a level 3. We each also ordered waffle fries as a side. On this occasion, my wife's sandwich was perfect. It had very little spice to it and was perfectly cooked. As other ladies have referred to in other reviews, her only complaint was that the sandwich was too much for her and she couldn't finish it. She had the same issue with the fries. She loved them, but it was just too much food. My sandwich, while perfectly cooked and delicious, was hardly what I expected at a level 3. Maybe I am used to eating spicy food, but this didn't even get my nose running. I really expected so much more. The fries and accompanying sauces were excellent. I have to admit...I finished all of mine and I might have...just maybe...eaten a few of my wife's fries, as well. I was just trying to help her out. That's just the kind of guy I am. All in all, Wooboi makes a dynamite sandwich. Well, maybe not "dynamite" in terms of packing a punch, but their chicken is cooked perfectly. You will definitely not go hungry. As far as the spice issue, I would expect Wooboi to have this down by now. They have been open for a few years and should be consistent with flavoring their customers sandwich. Is it really that hard? Sorry Wooboi. You are going to lose a star from me due to this spice issue. I really want to have a five star experience, because I love hot chicken sandwiches. You have competition coming from some hot chicken chains that are opening in the area. You really need to get this issue fixed, or you aren't going to keep your customers. I will always support a local restaurant over a chain, but you need to show me you can nail this thing every time! For now, my disappointment is just between you and me, Wooboi. If she finds out my sandwich wasn't spicy enough...well...remember that dark place I referred to earlier. Please don't send me back!!

Would have been 5 stars long ago if I made it then. I made a DoorDash order for level 3 Sando with everything on the side and received a sandwich so spicy it was inedible. I have eaten the level 3 every single time I have gone and never had any problems finishing it. Took two or 3 bites and had to tap out because it was way too hot. They do have the best spicy chicken sandwich around! Promot service, and excellent consistency with their food. But don't ask for anything on the side. Seems like a classic example of the cooks not liking the fact they had to do 45 seconds of extra work. Sincerely: a former restaurant manager. P.S. start bagging your fries in paper bags. I live just 5 minutes from this location and never get them to go since they are soggy when I get home. The fries can't breath and are garbage in 5 minutes in the to go container. Always perfect in store. Would definitely recommend.

Yelp
Awesome chicken...level 2 is hot but not deadly. Cole slaw is good. I always get a hankering for wooboi on Sunday night and that's the one day they're closed!

Yelp
Recommended by some friends and was excited to try - very moist and flavorful (definitely different spices - maybe hint of curry, not typical Korean flavors), fries and okra were ok. You have to eat quickly - it gets pretty soggy with the slaw and pickles, the comeback sauce is yummy.

Yelp
Best chicken sandwich in the DMV area. I came here immediately after eating a meal as I had heard about the place from a friend...even eating the sandwich 4 hours later it lived up to the referral.

Yelp
Was traveling for work and decided to try this place on a whim. Placed a large work order and they got everything right and even had the sauces! I got a 3 and chicken itself was super spicy! The flavor was great, I loved the crunchy pickles AND the chicken sandwich was MASSIVE! I couldn't finish it but highly recommend this place for Nashville hot

Yelp
I like the fact that they stick to one thing and do it right. The hot chicken sandos with slaw and butter pickles are consistently good -- the portion size could feed two, and the spice levels are legit. The buns can get soggy pretty quick, but that just seems to come with the territory. Definitely worth a stop particularly if you're okay eating in the car -- space inside is limited.

Yelp
First time trying this place was when I ordered carry out here and I got two Sandos. After getting off the phone I made a comment to my husband about how pricy it was for one simple fried chicken sandwich and why we didn't just order from popeyes. When I picked up my order, brought it home and pull the sandwich out if its container - that was when I realized how massive and flavorful of a sandwich it really was. The chicken was very tender and juicy and so filling to the point that I could not finish it. My final thoughts are that it was too much of a sandwich for me haha and not the best item to be eaten as a leftover the next day. I see why their customers are mostly men (noticed this when I walked inside to pick up my order). I still prefer my chicken sandwich from popeyes! But if you have a big appetite for a fried juicy chicken sandwich, this place will definitely hit the spot.

Yelp
Stop 2 of 3 on my tour of top hot chicken sandwich shops in the DMV area. Woo boi is right, this spice level is turned up at this location with a level 2 of 5 being hotter than a jalapeño pepper (per employees). I can not imagine what a 5 star hotness (level blue) would be like. The size of the chicken breast on the sandwiches is huge and justifies the prices and the waffle fries are perfectly cooked. The buns also are really nice and buttery. There is a lot of attention to detail at every level and in shows in the final product. You can't go wrong with getting anything at this place.

Yelp
OMG We tried this place for the first time a week ago and now we are obsessed! Had it again yesterday. Best damn chicken I have ever had, by far. I had level 1 which still had some kick to it. The wife had level 2 she loved it as well. SOOOOOO much better than the Chic fil A down the block I usually frequent.

Yelp
If you like chicken sandwiches spicy then this is the place for you. Don't have to get spicy but I recommend some heat. They are crunchy and thick and very tasty. Not cheap but It it looks high quality and place is clean. Very much recommend

Yelp
Food is good, a bit pricey, but the portions are large. I was however surprised to see an 11% tax and service fee at the bottom of my ticket after I paid. Taking out the tax, that leaves a 5% fee for just ordering online. On top of that they asked for a tip for an order I have to go inside and pickup. Just too much.....Service fees items (having a website to place a pickup order) is a part of doing business and should not be bundled with tax nor should they be extra; it should be included in the cost of food. Next time, I will just walk inside and order.

Yelp
Good food! This is sooo good it's a sin. It's a little tricky to get to with construction but worth it

Yelp
I love the chicken here! It is amazing and flavorful. Becareful of the spiciness as it can get to an extreme, but its my favorite spot in the dmv! The staff is extremely kind and get your order to perfection.

Yelp
Got the medium spicy it was awesome. Perfect amount of heat. The fries were well seasoned and the comeback sauce was a perfect complement. I could have easily split this meal.

Yelp
Yet another strong contender in the chicken Sando debate! Love that I can support an AAPI owner business during APHAM. * The Sando (w bread): The bread was nice and fluffy, the chicken was ginormous and well seasoned, and the coleslaw gave it a nice crunch. * The Sando (Keto style): It consisted of 2-3 of their signature tenders on a bed of their coleslaw mix with pickles and a heavy drizzle of their sauce. I think there was a little too much drizzle and I LIKE sauce. I'd recommend getting on the side if you aren't a super saucy person. * Fried Okra: They're light, but wasn't crispy and still had that slimey feeling that okra does - but was interesting to try! * Waffle Fries: They were light, crispy, and well seasoned! Definitely recommend getting them. This was a far trek, but was well worth the journey! Thankfully they're opening a spot in Alexandria!

Yelp
I got the medium spicy level chicken sandwich and some fries. I was astounded by how massive the chicken inside the sandwich was. Was a pretty good level, planning to come again next time to try a higher spice level.
