Potential to be a great amenity for the city.
But instead the elevators (and I'm sure other areas) are filled with urine. What a pleasant experience...
Hire some security / patrol, and a basic cleaning schedule, and this station would be just fine.

Yelp
To sum up my experience here:
I had to swim through used needles to be able to read the map to where I need to go. After reading the map, I got a contact high off of some bum standing near me which I assume to have been crack cocaine seeping from his pores. It seemed to be a father son duo that was standing near me that continued to beg for change and section 8 vouchers. I was just stopping by on my way to Detroit to see my friend.

Yelp
This station is disgusting. While it has pretty and modern art light displays it constantly smells of urine and other scents that are not pleasing to the nose.
The soothing music played over a speaker system does nothing to take away from the riff raft that is the Wood Street Station.
Honestly the filth and disgust of it all are the only things making Pittsburgh close to having a real rail system.

Yelp
While the T line is practical and easy to navigate, the overall safety around this station is severely lacking. There is an urgent necessity to make the station and area around safer for commuters and residents downtown.

Yelp
Keep your eyes peeled while waiting here. Sketchy characters abound. BUT as long as you are aware of your surroundings you shouldn't have a problem.

Yelp
Wood Street Station is fine. I like the classical music and I'm grateful for the T in Pittsburgh that helps me to get around. Unfortunately from the reviews it looks like there are a lot of racist and classist assholes you might need to watch out for around there, though.
