"This classic pizza spot is an Isla Vista staple, keeping late night (well, midnight) eaters and comfort food fans satiated with pizzas, loaded tater tots, and more." - Farley Elliott

Google
We ordered pizza and soft drinks. Soda dispenser was out of most drinks. Restroom a bit dirty. Restaurant not very clean. Dirty dishes pretty much everywhere.

We were spending the day wandering the coastline and after a little googling we found Woodstock pizza. I have to say I'm glad we found this place. The atmosphere was on point, it feels like you are at a classic corner pizza place. The pizza is a style that I haven't seen before. It has a thinner crust but they fold it over on the edge to give you something to grab onto, in my opinion it's the best of both worlds. The pizza is also made with quality ingredients, as I sit on the couch and eat my cold left over pizza I can say it is as good as the first day. So I suggest ordering enough for lunch the next day. I didn't catch their names but the crew that was working on 12/23/2023 around 7pm did an excellent job, they were friendly and kept checking on us, they also did a good job staying busy while paying attention to the customers. We will definitely stop in again when we are in the area.

Google
Preston, the manager was Awesome! The whole crew there too! Someone took and drank my friend's beer and without hesitation he gave my friend a new one, beer that is. More then generous and a Great leader! We Love Woodstocks that much more! Thanks Mr Preston, you deserve a huge raise! Cheers! PS Foward to Board Members/ Shareholders/ Owners

Google
We used Woodstock for a wedding day lunch and were so happy we chose them. The staff was so kind and caring, the delivery was punctual and professional and the food was yummy. Woodstock is a great pizza spot and takes care of their customers!

Angela Wu

Google
Love how the pizza is fresh out of the oven, and customizable. Also really cool vibes!

Google
I often try new pizza places while traveling and Woodstock’s got the order. Interesting crust that has a little sauce inside, looks like they folded the crust over something, which was really good. Nice chew on the crust but not too chewy. Their sauce was tasty and portioned appropriately, pepperoni had a small kick, and topped with a good amount of cheese. I like crusty pizza, but if you don’t like a lot of crust, this might not be the pizza for you. Uber eats delivered pizza so no comment on the restaurant.

Google
when we went to school at UCSB (this was more than 20 years ago) this was the best pizza in IV, the hang out spot, even the hard pressed foodies who give harsher reviews loved this place, they also have a location in downtown SB as well. great pizza, coupled with even better service.

Jason Shelton

Google
Food was excellent. They just didn't have an single slices available, so we had to order a whole pizza. They also had delicious flavored soda.

Ron G.

Yelp
Classic pizza joint. They have a super good gluten free crust. Their regular pizza looks great too Lots of drink options Salads about what you'd expect at a pizza spot

Glen N.

Yelp
Eh. Looking for a place to eat on our road trip, we stopped here based on the reviews, not realizing it was on the state's biggest party school campus in Isla Vista. Which makes sense. You can't spell Woodstock without S T and D. Anyway, the surprisingly not cheap joint is casual, cozy, and fun though a bit janky and outdated. They had 2 TVs on in one room, the one right above me playing Teen Titans with its volume so low I thought I was hearing voices. By the time my pizza was ready I thought Beast Boy had talked me into killing my dog. The big side salad was fine. We were excited they offered tater tots, but they were stale. They didn't taste like tater tots. They were tater nots. My wife's cheese pizza was dry, with the worst pizza crust she's ever had. To combat the dryness, they have free soda refills (with good options) and a generous sauce bar, including free ranch. I actually loved the carnitas on my equally dry slice, but I didn't finish my crust. D'ough!

Yelp
Mid pizza ngl bread is fanum tax worthy. Peperoni was mid greasy af grease all over that biiii. Scrumptious kinda though if hungry

Dominic G.

Yelp
Woodstocks is always a go to place. The service is always friendly and has a super nice college town vibe. The place is always packed and the TV are running sports games. The pizza here is absolutely delicious. They offer whole wheat crusts, which I really appreciate because I am pre-diabetic. Probably some of my favorite pizza out there. My only issue is that the wait can be a bit long, but all good things take time I guess. Overall, I would definetly recommend!

Jeff W.

Yelp
We tried to go here but it was super warm inside and had a funky smell. We loaded back into the car...... Food looked good.....

Adrian Z.

Yelp
Sorry for the bad picture quality, Woodstock pizza was so good that we had to eat it quickly. The restaurant itself has a fun college vibe inside, the service was very kind as their serves made sure we enjoyed our meal. The only thing that could have been better are the tatter tots as seem overly cooked which a friend I went with who has been there plenty of times told me they have never experienced the tatter tots being so crunchy but other than everything was delicious :)

Samuel S.

Yelp
The portion sizes are WAY TOO SMALL! I paid $15 for a personal pizza and soda and it was literally four slices. Come on guys. Cool ambiance and service but expensive and not worth the price.

Felice B.

Yelp
Really good pizza. Real and good. Straightforward good. Really good. Most of the places to get pizza in SB are specialized and finer dining style with thin crust and refined toppings. Lovely but sometimes you just want a big ol un- picky pizza. Then you come here. This place is busy, fun, unfussy, with lots of college energy. The kind of place you get a big group together, plop down at a table, order pizzas and pitchers and just have a good time. Also good for families, or after a game or hard work to just relax and eat. Or like me this afternoon, on my own, for a "pesto primavera, full of artichokes and pesto smooshed in the pizza crust. Yum! They celebrate veggie eaters, ( " Grateful Veg") and meaty eaters ( " all meat orgy" ), with abundantly full topping pizzas. Lots of diverse choices when design your own too. So satisfying and well, really good.

Tommy C.

Yelp
College town divey pizza joint. Great salad, pizza, and tots. BBQ bird pizza was enjoyable with a memorable crust. Easy ordering, friendly and timely service. Private parking in rear. Old school arcade machine and music keep the vibe lively. Don't try your fake ID.

Kevin B.

Yelp
Everything. Never had a bad experience and the food is amazing and when you go inside it's always a great vibe.

Yelp
11/05/23 Came and on a Sunday around 4:15pm. The wait was Not long and their service was Fast and Friendly. We ordered the Extra Large Pepperoni and Pineapple Pizza. My family really Loved it..!! We were surprised by the pizza crust and you will be too. They were generous with their toppings. If You Have A Chance, Stop By..!!

Yelp
(Overall: 57.5% | F) - I do not follow on why Woodstocks is famous because the food here is expensive and low quality. The atmosphere is not very clean and the service was incredibly slow despite it not being busy. The manager was also passive aggressive toward their new employees for messing up their order. (Buffalo Wings: 60% | D) - These wings are incredibly dull and uninspiring -- the spice and salt are one dimensional and the texture is as disappointing as a soggy recycled paper towel. These wings have to be by far some of the most disappointing wings I've had in the last five years. (Honey BBQ Wings: 72.5% | C) - While the flavor of these wings are more reasonable, these are mediocre at best. The most important part of a good wing is complex flavor development that drives the taste, but clearly nothing here is moving. (Garlic Bread: 72.5% | C) - The bread tastes good and is warm and comforting, although rather oily. The biggest disappointment is that the marinara dip it comes with is ice cold like its been just taken out of a freezer. (Tater Tots: 57.5% | F) - Unfortunately forgot a picture, but this dish reminds me of frozen tots, nothing different from reheating a bag myself. In fact, the dip was also ice cold and just overall unpleasant.

Sizhe T.

Yelp
The portions are pitifully small. They even forgot my order. Not good at all!Very bad experience

Rudy V.

Yelp
Rude service. I ordered before a group of college kids. But, because one worked there (off the clock) he and his group got their two pizzas before my one was even ready. And my pizza was cold when I received it. Overpriced and my extra large pizza was just a large.

Kenny M.

Yelp
This place has been an icon of Isla Vista and UCSB since before most yelpers even cared about carbs and glutton. As a Santa Barbara native, I am pleased to see the place stand the test of time.

Carmen R.

Yelp
Had an AMAZING experience celebrating my son's college graduation here. There aren't too many restaurants in the area that were able to accommodate such a large party. Our server was AMAZING and the food was delicious!!! We ordered several pizzas and appetizers for our group of 20. It was a great celebration in a nice, relaxed environment. My son and his friends were here all throughout their time at UCSB, so it was fitting to have his graduation dinner here. I'm grateful for the positive experience

Jamie M.

Yelp
We tried a carnitas pizza and a dessert pizza with cinnamon, sugar, strawberries, and walnuts. Both were very good! The service was a little slow but I think the food was worth it. We also tried the loaded tater tots (also good). I forgot how good this pizza place was!

Jiyi T.

Yelp
Lotta bread. Chicken wasn't fully cooked. It was okay. Filling though for the stomach.

Duane R.

Yelp
Fresh ingredients, tons of toppings and great tasting sauce. On top of one of the crunchiest crusts you'll find. If you're looking for the best pizza around you need to stop on by.

Aaron W.

Yelp
Great service and excellent Pizza! I have been coming because it's the best. Cauliflower crust and cheese!!

Cooper M.

Yelp
Great prices on beers on tap. Sweet atmosphere. Place is pretty hot inside from the pizza ovens. Have to try their pizza next time in town.

Anna P.

Yelp
Love the pizza here! My favorite is pepperoni. Love the crust end with the sauce in it. Dough is delicious. Sauce has a nice flavor. Located near UC Santa Barbara.

Janie G.

Yelp
Best pizza ever! I always enjoy the veggie. Love the stuffed crust. It's a must visit when we are in town.

Fernando M.

Yelp
The kickin carnitas is my favorite pizza of all time! I always have to get that and the BBQ Bird. The dough alone is great (give me your crust) and the ingredients they use seem to all be high quality. Service is great everyone is really friendly. They have games, couches and just a overall good vibe in there

Magdalena T.

Yelp
I called and made a reservation for my family while at my sister's graduation from UCSB. It was a hot day! When we got there they had ice cold water pitchers and cups ready for us and even accommodated our party of 10 to a roomier table. Our server Kayla was supper attentive and sweet. The pizza was freshly made and the wings were very flavorful! We got the spicy buffalo and lemon pepper, I highly recommend! Overall this is a great place to come to with family or with friends. Food is reasonably priced and so are the drinks! Plus they have daily specials for students which I thought was awesome.

Yelp
Was visiting our kid at SB and wanted to have pizza. Was recommended Woodstock to try out. First, I have to say that glad they had a parking lot, give them bonus for that but after that things went down hill. I placed an order for a medium pizza with spinach, artichoke heart and BBQ chicken for me and Mrs. Also, Cinnabread for the kid. For a Sunday afternoon, it wasn't really busy. The customer ahead of us ordered pizza slices and I didn't see any other orders ahead of us. 20 minutes later, still waiting for our pizza. I finally decided to go to counter to ask someone to check on our order. About five minutes later, the server came and said, "sorry, we made the wrong pizza. we can comped you this pizza we made or we can make your pizza" Well having sat there for almost 30 minutes and not wanting to wait longer we decided to accept the pizza and appreciated that they comped it. The incorrect pizza was just cheese, chicken, artichoke heart and some sprinkle of pineapple. The Cinnabread came out about 10 minutes later. Overall Woodstock is a standard college pizza joint, a bit over priced as our medium pizza was over $20. The food is ok. But the real reason for the 2 star is that they never comped the pizza. I checked my statement and I see the original order charge. when they told me that my order is wrong and will comp the incorrect order, I would hope they keep their promise. But they didn't and that not good customer service. If they didn't want to comp the incorrect pizza then please don't tell me.

Raul A.

Yelp
Well, I got there almost closing time but person behind counter was nice about last call when I asked for beer. Not problem at all, next time I will get there earlier, so I can enjoy that beer with some wings definitely!!

Marlene D.

Yelp
I finally took my daughter to try Woodstock's pizza. I love this place cause its open late when many businesses close early now. We were greeted right when we walked in and ordered right away. The time to get the food felt like a long time but maybe cause we were hungry.. It did take about 25 mins.. The pizza tasted fresh and had lots of cheese YUMMY. We also tried the garlic bread and somehow that was even better than the pizza. 5 stars all around We will be back soon

Erika V.

Yelp
We had Woodstock's catered at work on Thursday and it was amazing! This was my first time having their pizza and I love the thick layer of cheese, thin crust and fresh ingredients. It all melts in your mouth and I think it's clever how they fold over the crust on the edges. I didn't have time to take pics before the pizza was half gone! I can't wait to try it again!

Ella A.

Yelp
Good pizza! You can choose to sit outside and still have access to games playing on their tv outside! There's parking just around back.

Thaonly j.

Yelp
it was pretty pricey for what we ordered the pizza was delivered soggy even though we lived 7 mins away we couldn't pick up due to not having a car so we ordered take out but we still ate it i guess

Tracee B.

Yelp
Some of my favorite pizza ever!! Several years ago my family and I went to 3 different Woodstock locations in a week while we took a road trip up the California coast. We loved the pizza that much! Fast forward to present day 2021 and we decided to take a little trip from LA to Santa Barbara to see if it was as good as we remembered. Let me tell you, it sure was! I got myself a personal size pepperoni and canadian bacon pizza and each bite was just so heavenly. The crust was fluffy and there was just the right amount of sauce...ugh, I want some more as I'm writing this review! For dessert we got their Cinnabread and it was the sweetest way to end our meal. Their already flavorful crust alongside a generous helping of icing was really so good. Somehow we also ended up being given an extra serving of Cheesy Wildebread? Can't say we complained. We left Woodstock stuffed as ever. The employees were also super friendly and attentive. One of the girls even tried hard to get one of the baskeball games on TV for us during March Madness. The TV was giving her some trouble but she kept at it, so it was much appreciated. Great service and great food!

Adrienn K.

Yelp
Pizza was delivered promptly and the delivery guy was so sweet! The pizza was very good but my kids favorite part was the cinnamon bread!

Anna B.

Yelp
Delicious pizza!!! Ordered the cauliflower crust half with extra cheese and the other half all meat... and wow. My husband ordered a personal Hawaiian (Woody's waui) and he loved it too! Perfect dinner after touring all over campus. This was one of the few places open during spring break while we toured the UCSB campus. Very cool college pizza joint.

Austin G.

Yelp
Extremely poor service, while the pizza is decent, it is not worth the over 1 and a half hour wait. I really want to like this place, but they were so slow. Also, all the tables were quite dirty

Adailton N.

Yelp
Best Place in IV! Really good service and high quality Pizza. I love the environment and the customer service. Dante was helping us that night and it was amazing.

Tim D.

Yelp
Nice little pizza place. We hit it up on a Saturday evening and had great service despite being busy. You can sit inside or outside in a nice little patio area. We had the Gaucho Gordo pizza and Wildebread cheese bread. Parking was easy in the back and it's a great area to walk around after.

Lydia S.

Yelp
I love Woodstocks it's so funny to watch people in there on a Thursday night. I always meet someone interesting there and enjoy the pizza. I also enjoy the cheap beer after 9pm and live music. I feel like Woodstocks really brings the community together. I will miss trivia night there with my friends.

Mary F.

Yelp
Highly recommend Woodstock Pizza, when in Santa Barbara. Called the order in and had it delivered. The person who took my order was very nice and helpful. The young lady that came with my delivery was very pleasant. Pizza was very good...ordered the half and half pizza. We got 15% off and free delivery for staying at the Ramada. Very pleased with everything.

Chris C.

Yelp
Cool vibe inside, and nice outdoor patio. Unique pizza and dessert choices. The staff was friendly. Enjoyed the All Meat Orgy pizza, XL, and 6-piece Man Cave dry rub wings, with an A-slo-ha IPA, and a slice of cheese pizza for myself, my wife, and my daughter. Had half a pizza to take a home. A little pricey: all that came out to $70! The pizza was good, but the crust is nothing special: no seasoning, just plain white or wheat bread. Some other downsides: hostess took a while to take orders for the people ahead of me (maybe she was new?); I wanted the Disco Wolf IPA, listed on their "Featured Beers" board, but the hostess had to find me after I placed my order to let me know they were out of it, and if I wanted a different beer; restrooms aren't marked, and the one I used didn't have soap. Overall, I'd come here again. Seems like a cool place to hang. Some minor improvements would make a big difference.

Stacy S.

Yelp
Great pizza! Good salads. Solid for the past 30 years. A must try and their IV Classic pizza is some of the best pizza around...

Donna C.

Yelp
trevor has demonstrated above and beyond customer service. our pizza was a lil bit raw and he made it right! he offered us a whole new pizza on the house but we only needed it baked for a few minutes minutes, and he made it happen! also our beer pitcher was at the very end of the keg and he gave us a free pint to sip on while we waited for the bubbles to settle on our pitcher so it could be filled up. truly the textbook definition of fantastic customer service. thank you trevor! he is absolutely the best and deserves a raise. mr woodstock, please consider my review when promoting people. trev trev (the boy trevor) is the best server ive ever had, during my years of being served at woodstock. i will never go to pmh again.

Taylor B.

Yelp
Cheap eats but I don't really love the pizza it is a bit soft and doughy. The worker used their hands on the register and then took the trash out before beginning to make my pizza without washing their hands :(. I would come here again for only the vibes and maybe in a pitcher night.

Evelyn B.

Yelp
Classic IV staple for their student population. Pizza was pretty good, the pepperoni was a little oily for me and the cheese had great flavor. About 30-45 minutes before closing, they only sell slices so plan for that in case you want a whole pie. Pretty active level of noise, but expected. Definitely would like to try a few of their other choices.

Jessica D.

Yelp
I was first introduced to Woodstock's when I attended Cal Poly San Luis Obispo for undergraduate studies. Years later, I finally visit another location in IV and remembered all the great things about it. The hallmark is the folded crust- so no bite goes without sauce. My favorite is the bbq sauce pizza on whole wheat crust. The flavor is great! The pizza tastes best warm, fresh, and crispy. This isn't New York styled pizza where it's chewy and thin. More soft and melt in your mouth. Visit this college staple!

Miles R.

Yelp
No, this place is just a classic pizza joint except their pizzas are actually good. A lot of people diss their crusts, but in my opinion, they're the best crust in town. I give this a five stars with confidence because this is the best gosh dang pizza place in Santa Barbara. Yeah I said it I'm a local it's the best place for pizza in Santa Barbara. The atmosphere with arcade games and college students working on their homework is incredible and I hope you can enjoy it someday like I do. A

Kara T.

Yelp
Everyone loves Woodstock's who knows what's up... Still a great local spot with outdoor dining available and is still on and popping for delivery... Everything's been pretty great lately aside from one order of cinnamon bread that was delivered with a pizza and either they were cooked too closely together in the oven or something happened with sort of a flavor transfer from either gloved hands or? Boards and or just being cooked next to each other the smells and flavor is kind of blended so my pizza tasted like blueberries in the crust, my wild bread with cheese didn't really taste like pizza dough, it tasted sort of dessert- like or sugary in the crust. So something just got a little mixed there. Whoops! I won't lie, I managed to eat it anyway! Hahaha but...was odd. As someone who's worked at an old-school pizza place downtown, I understand pizza ovens can be tricky and there are a lot of ways this could've happened so it's just a little bit of a bummer. Otherwise everything still been hot fresh tasty and the ranch is known to be many of my local friends full on favorite. Give them a shot if you haven't lately and see what you've been missing. It's a good reminder of some of the basics that we've known and loved for years. I recommend for dessert definitely trying to cinna bread and adding extra blueberries especially if they're in season or organic strawberries otherwise and extra icing if you really have a sweet tooth, it's nice that you can choose wheat or white crust.., * I do wish they would have a gluten-free option that would be tasty and not too much extra/unaffordable. Hopefully they'll add one someday soon.

Savannah J.

Yelp
The place itself was adorable! Loved the "Where the Wild Things Are" setup in the back area! Unfortunately the Pizza itself was not the best. I was kind of expecting something to stand out from other pizza places based off of what I was hearing about it, but am overall slightly disappointed. The place was cute, preparation was nice, but the pizza was pretty average. (It could also use a little more cheese and sauce as well. The pizza itself was kind of dry.)

Jonathan H.

Yelp
Crust is Very very bready, not crispy. So not NY pizza, not Naples pizza. A bit too hippy dippy california soft bready pizza. Sauce is so so, cheese is so so. And their delivery is pretty unreliable. So I'd pass.
