I've gone to Woodstocks for years (because it's an iconic spot, the pizza is ok), but I had an experience that made me not want to return or continue recommending it. I ordered a medium pizza with only a few ingredients on a night they weren't particularly busy, with most tables empty. Around 30 minutes in, I noticed people getting and finishing their food, even though they arrived after me.
I didn't want to assume that they forgot, so I waited 10 minutes before going to the register. I talked to someone who I assume was the manager because they were dressed in all black. They told me to wait a second, and walked away. Someone else came up, I asked the same question, they looked at the pizzas, in the oven, and at more pizzas, then said my pizza was in the oven and that it'd be out in 5 to 10 minutes. I waited 15 before coming back (now waited 55 minutes) and returned to talk to the same person. They said it wasn't there, they were sorry, and that they'd start working on it. I didn't know how long it'd take, so I waited for another 20 minutes before coming back. The manager was there, recognized me, and handed me the pizza. After waiting an hour and 15 minutes, there were no apologies, no compensation, just a lukewarm pizza.
I would have given more stars if there was proper professionalism, but I wasted so much time and almost missed the last bus of the day for a pizza that was just alright.
