Woodward Takeout Food

We were excited to get here and the decor and atmosphere was warm. Arrived 10 minutes early and they didn’t seat us. Made us stand and wait. We ordered drink, very good and the dinner was okay but the service was so slow and some of the food came out just warm. With these prices I would have expected courteous and prompt serve AND a coat rack too. Not a good choice.

Super nice to share the “for the table” selections and appetizers. Recommend the foie gras appetizer nestled in pears on a Dutch baby. Grilled meats were cooked perfectly. Sides were also a good size to share. Wash it down with a glass of prosecco.

One of my go-to spots in downtown DC. Delicious food from local ingredients. Friendly, attentive service. Great wine list to accompany the creative cuisine.

After many hours of walking around the mall, visiting museums, and checking out the Whitehouse we needed a break. We stopped in at Woodward table for happy hour. The food was good and including an amazing seafood platter and a flat bread that should have been called a small pizza. Great value on the limited happy hour menu. We wiould return in the future.

Food was good, not great. Service was subpar. Hostess was bland. Server was even worse. Timing was off for everything from water to getting the check. On a positive note, the tater tots were effing amazing!

Went there for brunch on a Saturday Food and service were on point Got a Woodward's hot mess; enough food for two people I'd say. It was delicious. You can't miss their baked Dutch baby Not too expensive either

We had a giant party of 12 for brunch and couldn’t have been happier with the service. The mimosas were free-flowing and all the food came out speedily and together. Thrilled to have a nice brunch spot in such a central location!

A bit expensive but has good seafood and good service. Convenient location to White House. Better quality than the Old Ebbott. The softshell crab was delicious.
