Luckily for night owls, Woody’s is open until 4am on Fridays and Saturdays. Their hot and sloppy cheesesteaks stuffed with peppers, onions, and a huge portion of meat are the perfect solution for late-night hunger, especially when you need to sober up or eat enough to sleep in past breakfast. We know it’s hard to justify going to Woody’s and not getting a cheesesteak, but you’d miss out if you didn’t order a giant hot dog, too. Of the four options (all are tasty), we like the Phat Dog, a traditional grilled sausage with ketchup, mustard, relish, and a slew of onions. With a shorter menu than the original Midtown location, the Woody’s stall at the Southern Feed Store offers their legendary Woody’s steak sandwich and other varieties stuffed with peppers, onions, and a generous portion of meat. The cold deli hoagies would make a Philadelphian proud, too.
