"There are no low-key nights at Woody’s. On most weeknights, the bar has a DJ blasting a Rihanna remix and on Mondays, there’s karaoke and drink specials. It can get crowded with locals who made this their go-to spot, and groups of non-queer people who visit gay bars “just for fun.” There are lots of tables inside, so it’s great for any size group you bring, especially if you’re hungry and want to snack on beef sliders, hummus, and tacos. But for the most part, people go to the Gayborhood bar to dance, drink cocktails, and get sucked into a fun time warp where you look up and realize it’s 2am." - Candis R. McLean

epic spot, must visit many have worked here for decades, worth a visit for this alone pool, locals, out-of-towners open late great spot

It only gets two stars because of HOW SMOKY IT IS! Wow! I remember going to the taco place next door once and smelling the smoke from outside. Now if you don’t mind the smoke, it looks like a fun bar. Has two pool tables, shuffleboard, foosball darts. Like it looks enjoyable, I just can’t with the smoke

The bartender was awesome and very friendly. The only thing that I did not like was that they allowed smoking. I'm from Dallas, and down here is smoking free, I enjoy the convenience that it was close to the hotel. Dallas traveler

There was 12 of us. The people moved chairs and tables so all 12 of us can hang together, which we thought that was great! We came during happy hour and let me tell you- they know how to make a drink for sure and super cheap during happy hour. Clean place! Only reason I gave a 4 star and not a 5 was the bartenders just wasn't attentive, took a little long making drinks and wasn't the most sociable at all but other then that was great!!! And didn't serve food here- you could of ordered from the food truck nect door and bring it in so that was a bummer..

Stopped for a cocktail. Did not feel too comfortable since we are Cubs and Purdue fans, but we were able to enjoy our beverages without being molested. Enjoyed reading all of the signs on the walls. Trying to gather enough gumption to try the tekilla pickle shot.

God Bless Woody's!! You can smoke there!! Drinks are reasonably priced!! Plenty to do. Pool. Soft Tip Darts. Mega Touch. All the greats. Very relaxed atmosphere!

We were in town for the weekend and staying at a hotel down the street from Woody's. We decided to go in and have a few drinks. I would not recommend it. The bartender was so rude to us for being "tourists" that we left after one drink. They definitely don't want your money if you're not a local and they'll make sure you know it.
