"One of the city’s longest-serving exponents of iced filter over cold brew, Workshop’s approach to cold coffee is appositely refreshing. Upscaling the usual single-cup brew, it offers an iced batch filter, which is quick to serve and delicious to drink, with none of the staleness or dilution the method can risk. But the jewel in its crown is the shakerato — a rich, sweet, elegant cocktail of espresso and orange blossom honey shaken over ice." - James Hansen

Workshop Coffee is serious about good coffee. They sell their own seasonal coffee beans and it’s a great place to grab a quick cup, some coffee brewing equipment, or a bag of delicious specialty coffee beans. Their Flat White was tasty, and they use beans from either Ethiopia or Rwanda beans for espresso which gives the cup a very fruity profile. One of the best places for a cup around Bond Street/Marylebone.

Google
It is my fifth or sixth time here in the coffee shop for the past four years and they are not maintaining the same. They are actually getting better and better. the coffee and the beans are so good as usual

I arrived just a min before it's closing, but they were still very nice to make a cup of latte for me. Latte was so good as it's rating, definitely will try again.

From Melbourne coffee standard that I am familiar with, the filter coffee seems to be roasted a touch lighter. However, the Ecuadorian that I had had a good flavour structure with apricot, citrus, a hint of pineapple and mango, which I absolutely enjoyed.

Google
Popped by on a quiet Saturday morning for a cup of filtered coffee. The barista recommended the Colombian blend and it was so smooth and light. Will be back to buy their beans for sure!

Google
Nice hidden gem, would it be for people shopping at Oxford street or Merylebone and need a recharge! Nice coffee and pastry! Their coffee blend is slightly into fruity notes, not too much (for those who care about their taste)

Google
Ok coffee spot, they don’t serve slow pour (chemex, v60, hario) which is kinda weird for a nice roasters coffee spot like that. I got a flat white and it was decent, but did not rock my world.

Google
Sometime, simplicity is what you need. Their blend based on Honduran beans. Good roast, well balanced and velvety smooth. Well crafted flatwhite. Don’t go here if you are looking for comfort seats and tables. The establishment concept reminds me of a waiting room in a clinic. But it is their coffee which will make your joy. Will be here again for dessert!

Yelp
Nice spot for a good coffee. I had a filtered coffee that was pretty good. You can buy their beans and there are also other things for sale like coffee cups and bottles.

Yelp
This is now officially my go to coffee shop in London for whenever I return. The barista was friendly, the beans were well selected, and their preparation of the capuccino was perfect. I will be back!

Yelp
A very cute coffee shop to sit and chat with a friend! The staff was quite friendly and let us hang around way past our finishing the bread and coffee we ordered. We both ordered a latte and shared an almond croissant and lemon pound cake. Everything was delicious. I especially enjoyed the filling in the almond croissant. I would highly recommend this spot to anybody looking for a relaxed coffee joint with equally as delicious menu items.

Yelp
Was very optimistic about this place, walked all the way here, then swapped to a nearby Pret A Manger because of the DREADFUL and RUDE service here. The inside was not at all clean, either. Nasty and rude place, I hate to say. The blonde girl behind the counter greeted my sweet parents with a "HELLO?!" When they weren't sure what they wanted yet. Then she did so again. We just left. A word of advice, just pay less and get better service at Pret A Manger.

Pete G.

Yelp
The service here is rude, and the inside very dirty. What a disappointment! For what they charge one would hope for at least half-decent service, but my family and I were very rudely asserted, and hence decided to pick another coffee shop. We will not be back.

Yelp
Solid coffee place that I have been visiting everytime I am in London. Consistant quality and knowledgeable staff. The place isn't small but I definitely don't find it comfy so you don't feel like staying more than your coffee cup allowed. Be aware that the location is somewhat hidden in the courtyard of St Christopher's place.

Yelp
Fantastic coffee. Cool workshop atmosphere. Very casual. In middle of a small square with many other shops. Don't get sucked into any other shop. Come to workshop.

E J.

Yelp
Okay, yes I'm a bit (a huge) coffee snob - so of course I will sing the praises of Workshop. But, it's well deserved. In all my time visiting this small coffee shop, I've never had a bad coffee here. Yes, you may have to wait a little longer than your regular, chain branch on the high street but that's because what you get from these guys is well crafted coffee, made with skill (and love). It's around £3 for a little cappuccino, which may not be up everyone's street - it can seem a lot for a little cup - but what it lacks in size it makes up for in taste. The branch also offers it's own blends to take home with you, along with a load of great advice on how to get the best brew at home from the friendly baristas.

Yelp
ok coffe, not awesome, but drinkable. atmosphere is not great. weirdly sized unfinished wood pulp furniture. tables are too close together. ordering coffee is not well organized.

Yelp
I love London. I love the city. I love the food. I love the tea. I hate the coffee. How can a city that is the absolute epitome of perfection in all other aspects fail so miserably at being able to serve a good cup of coffee? I was told this place would not disappoint...I know I shouldn't have had my hopes up, but when the coffee craving hit, I couldn't help myself. So I marched into this absolutely cute place right behind Oxford street I got lost for about fifteen minutes before I found the alley that took me to this tucked away shop. If I hadn't been really jonsing for the caffeine, I would have given up long before out of sheer frustration.) I enter the shop, decorated in what I can only describe as a cafe recreated in hipster 101 decor, with high hopes that this will be the answer to my quest to find good coffee in this city. I order the latte, I take a sip, and realize this is not the answer to my caffeine prayers.... It took me fifteen minutes to find the place, two minutes to order, and one sip to realize that I still haven't found good coffee in London. The search continues...

Yelp
Even though they moved to a different location they still kept the same baristas which are very friendly, experienced and can make a great cup of coffee. I really like the fact that they offer you a glass of water while you wait for your coffee which give you a chance to clear your palette and enjoy the tasty drink. Also, apart from their normal espresso drinks they do batch brew & aeropress Even though they still make great coffee I couldn't get myself to give them 4 stars as the new place is not that great. I can see they tried to go with a "workshop" theme for their interior but I am not a big a fan of the new look as it looks a bit ran down & cold. The sits are not very comfortable either and they also don't have a bathroom in store which doesn't make it an ideal place if you want to sit down.

Keith O.

Yelp
If you want good coffee, 4 Stars. If you want a balance of factors, you are looking at 3*. Been twice now, for a 'grab-n-go' coffee when I get off at Oxford Street Tube, or I walk down that direction. Will re-review in a few more. + Coffee is great quality no doubt, but about 20% more expensive than other places (£2.80-£3 for a filter coffee to go. Filter coffee didn't seem freshly brewed as it was poured from a decanter. + Beans: 3 Columbian and 1 Rwandan (read here: http://www.workshopcoffee.com/collections/coffee) and you can buy by the bag (£9-£12). Haven't bought from them, but presume they can grind them for you if you are that way inclined (but you aren't right? Come on...) - It nearly always is 'to-go'; the sit-down area is in the back is always full and can't seat more than 12 people comfortably at a time anyway, and you won't want to stand awkwardly around the front except for... + ... the decor & Staff are lovely. Two lads working behind the custom Workshop barista machine are good fun, and even accidentally gave me the nickname 'Gen'. I'll roll with it. - Has Porlex grinders (£42) and Aeropress for sale (£25), but if you buy them at that price you should be shot. ? Food: Don't know, haven't tried! Looked nice. Some of the better coffee spots in the area, but don't go for a casual sit-down/work as you may not get a seat.

Matthew W.

Yelp
Great coffee, slightly austere decor, and friendly service: they made a slight mistake with a food item and offered a replacement for no charge. Ideal morning spot before braving Oxford Street.

Tom T.

Yelp
Good flat white. Friendly staff.

Alex L.

Yelp
Very nice cafe, with an interesting coffee bean, albeit a little too subtle in flavour.

Carly D.

Yelp
Great cold brew, and friendly service - offered water right away as it was so hot outside!

Linnea F.

Yelp
This place has the best coffee around in this otherwise overly touristy and crowded area. The staff is friendly and professional. Though being absolutely tiny, the interior is nice, though a little typical for the sort of place. Really good coffee is the main selling point though, and it goes a long way.
