My flight was at 8:50 PM, but obviously I still had time for one last bar stop 😂😂😂 Priorities. Thankfully this place opens at 4 PM, so I sprinted over like it was a pre-boarding workout. The bar is called Workshop14, a modern mixology spot recommended by Niks Anuman. Instant love. The space is airy, there’s a little garden, and lots of wood details that make it feel warm and cozy, not stiff at all. The cocktails were creative with fun twists, and every drink was solid. The bartender was super friendly and gave great recommendations, which always makes the experience better. Short version: zero regrets. Totally worth sacrificing my “be early to the airport” fantasy for one last great drink. 🍸

A beautifully designed cocktail bar located near InterContinental Westlake, with refined, thoughtful interiors and a cozy, intimate vibe. The cocktails are good, crafted with real care. Service is warm and attentive, making the whole experience even better. Truly a gem in Hanoi, and I’ll definitely be back!

I only had 12 hours in hanoi and workshop 14 was first on my list of places to visit cos I had heard so many good things from my friends. The space itself is sophisticated yet relaxed, intentional but not pretentious. But the drinks were unlike anything I've had elsewhere. Other bars usually throw a bunch of flavors together and call it a day but I think the staff go beyond flavors. There is technique and thought behind every drink which results in carefully layered and something quietly magical about each drink they create. If you want a lovely l intimate experience with friends, come here. If you want run of the mill drinks with loud parties taking intrusive photos every 30 seconds, don't! Also forgot to mention that service was great. I had injured my knee and was wearing a brace. they made all efforts to make sure that I was well taken care of. I just love when a bunch of people passionate about what they do get together and do smth cool like workshop 14. What a truly hidden gem!!

Arrived when it opened. Atmosphere was amazingly chill, and the venue is incredible and relaxing. The bartender walked us through some recommendations, all of which tasted fantastic and were wonderful to watch being made.

Very intimate and meticulously curated venue. Popped in without a reservation and was given a seat. There is limited seating however so booking might be advised. The place is beautiful but if I had to mention one area of improvement it would be to have more comfortable seating. A small thing however + we had a great time here. More importantly, the cocktails were fabulous. Many contained ingredients that I would never normally consider or have an inclination to try, but were mixed so Intricately that they produced a flavour that was both unique and genuinely delightful. Orded a Manhattan and asked for an additional cherry. They provided it but seemed to ponder the request so I didn't ask for two again on subsequent drinks. Overall, I had some of the best tasting cocktails I have ever had and would certainly recommend to anyone visiting Hanoi.

Workshop 14 is one of Hanoi’s most refined yet relaxed bars. The setting is quietly beautiful, offering a sense of ease unusual in the city’s nightlife. Unlike venues that overstyle themselves into sterility, Workshop 14 strikes balance: polished without being stiff, inviting without being loud. It’s the kind of place where you can linger with friends over a drink and actually feel at ease. Repeated visits confirm the consistency. The central space works best for groups, opening to the bar with an easy flow. The smaller side tables, by contrast, feel cramped for two - more a function of space than intent. As someone who isn’t a heavy drinker, I would welcome a few more snacks on the menu; not essential, but it would round out the experience. In short: Workshop 14 offers sophistication without pretension, making it one of Hanoi’s standout spots for those who want both quality and comfort.

Came here based on the best bars in the world list and we’re not disappointed. The minimalistic style and the perfectly executed cocktails are a great combo. Service was attentive. Seats at the window a bit hard.

Had an amazing time at Workshop 14! The bartender was super friendly and passionate — he introduced the story behind Terry’s Chocolate Orange and even explained how they use Vietnamese cacao and milk clarification in the cocktail. The drink itself was silky, rich, and perfectly balanced between chocolate and citrus. You can really taste the craftsmanship and care. Highly recommend for anyone who loves creative cocktails with a touch of storytelling!
