Bar atmosphere, staff was extremely knowledgeable and friendly. Food, wings, and fries were very good. Very tasteful rub on the wings. In-house sauce for the fries was also very good. Alcohol a bit pricey, but you are in Carmel, soooooo. Definitely recommend

Wow - we were excited to try this place when they opened in Indy, and it’s even better than I expected. The chicken is SO juicy, and the sandwiches are massive. The heat options are great - we have a wide range of heat tolerance in our family and everyone found a level that worked well for them. Don’t pass on the mac bites and definitely grab a couple bonuts for dessert!

We are visiting from out of town and decided to stop here for lunch, and I’m so glad we did. The food was delicious. I got the chicken and waffles tenders mild plus and it was delicious. The owner was very hospitable & welcoming! If I am in the area again I will be sure to come back.

Outstanding food, very friendly staff. The hot chicken was delicious especially in the burrito. I also enjoyed the Mac and cheese bites. The beer was cold and refreshing. Service is a bit odd because you basically order when you walk in or you can go to the bar with full service but I wasn't impressed with the speed of service doing it that way. Will definitely go back and highly recommended.

I was there for the Love Jones R&B, and poetry is the only reason for the 3 stars. The loaded fries I had were good, but the Margarita my friends had, they said was weak for the price and what they tried to charge for a double shot was ridiculous but the vibe was nice I enjoyed the music and the hosts and DJ. Needless to say, the event was a flop, and they should have refunded our money because the event didn't take place, we just vibed out to music, and I wanted to hear some poetry. I will return on a regular night but not for this event. I would try the food again.

I ordered pickup tonight and was eating my greens when I realized that there was an entire bay leaf on my fork that I was about to put in my mouth. As someone who cooks, I know bay leaves are super dangerous and knew not to eat it, but I was concerned thinking about people who wouldn’t have known. I called the store to let them know, and I spoke with the manager who immediately started giving me attitude as soon as he picked up the phone. He told me that sometimes bay leaves end up in the food because they use real food and wasn’t apologetic at all. I told him that this was incredibly unsafe and unacceptable to serve. I had to ask him for a refund as he didn’t offer it to me, and he continued giving me attitude throughout the phone call. Even if I miraculously get the refund, I will not be returning to any of these locations. I strongly urge you to stay far away from this place as they clearly don’t care about customer health and safety.

My son and I love trying new chicken places and this was in our list of places to try and we finally got there. My son and I tried the tender meals in mild and mild plus. They do not play when it comes to their spice levels. We enjoy spicy foods and the mild plus was hot! They serve their chicken with s special sauce you can request ranch but I recommend you try the special sauce at least once before you go with only ranch. The staff was all very nice and happy to answer all questions. We will definitely be back.

Been wanting to try Hotboys for a while now and it did not disappoint. I ordered the guap fries (without the chives) and they were very good. However not sure I would get them again because they left me wanting for more of the amazing chicken which is the real star of the show. I ran out of bites of chicken way before the fries. The cheese and money sauce were both amazing, fries could’ve been a little more done. The money sauce reminded me of Jaggers sauce from Jaggers, which I also love. The chicken seasoning and crispness were great. I went with a mild + level of heat but next time I’ll definitely increase to medium or medium +. My bf got the Sando chicken sandwich medium heat and he really enjoyed his as well. Will definitely return to try a chicken tender meal and that breakfast burrito looks pretty good too. 🤤 also liked the vibe inside and ease of parking at this location. Bathrooms were also nice. Service was excellent and very friendly/ welcoming.
