"The craft beer bar which claims to serve over 500 beers from around the world has apparently closed on Peachtree Street. This, according to What Now Atlanta who was tipped off to the sudden closure by a reader who snapped a photo of a sign taped to the front door which read “closed for business”." - Beth McKibben

Just started to frequent this place. The staff is friendly and helpful and the atmosphere is more of a local pub than restaurant. The food is good but sometimes comes out a little slow. The range of beers are great and I've never really had to wait for seating. If your in the area, give it a try. They have specials everyday, taco Tuesday and sangria Thursdays(I think) are my favorites.

Great friendly staff and decent patio. One of the best options for craft beers from all over. There is a huge selection on tap, and so much more options in bottles.

I visited the World of Beer for the 1st time on a Saturday night. Very busy and crowded. The staff was polite/friendly. The brat pretzel sliders were tasty! The location is kind of small, but plenty of sitting. I did expect more variety on non-traditional beer like cider beer, pear, etc. Not a bad spot to explore. Give it a try.

Good selection of beer and some really enthusiastic and knowledgeable staff. Was pleasantly surprised by the quality of food on offer, highly recommend the German pretzel! If you cant see anything you like they have an iPad or two with a huge selection of bottles that you can check by style and region, fantastic!

I always seek out beer locations whenever I travel and was happy to find a World of Beer in Atlanta during my trip. The place was clean and the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. I wish I could remember his name, but one guy went out of his way to be very helpful and gave me and my friend a number of samples. He knew his beer, which is very important in one of these types of beer establishments. He was familiar with the brewing process, knew the history of the beer and was knowledgeable about various breweries throughout the country. Kudos to WoB for hiring great staff and keeping the place clean!

This place is amazing!! My girlfriend and I go once or twice a week. Great Beers! Amazing service! And I definitely suggest getting the Tacos (especially on Tuesday), Tavern Tots, or the Pretzel. You won't be disappointed :)

I went here for a different experience. The main reason was, that on the website, it says "Monday: $5 Burgers & Brats". So we went to check out this place. When we got there, service was relatively quick. No water was brought to us however, which is a typical courtesy. They didn't have the beers in stock we expected since it is the World of Beer. Then, we ordered our food and the food came out incorrectly. Meanwhile during these times, he server sat at a table in the back and stayed behind his computer. The food was good. The ambiance was good. The two meth heads standing outside the entrance and asking for cigarettes, cash, and food was not so good. When we got the check, we were charged full price for the burgers we ordered. When I asked about the $5 special, I was told "Oh, that's not for the burgers you ordered. It's only for the classic cheeseburger." I showed the menu and asked, "Why does it say $5 for burgers and does not mention the one burger?" He said I don't know and had a dumbfounded look on his face. Overall, this was not a great experience. I doubt we will go back.

The beer selection is unmatched in the area. Perfect for a sports-viewing outing. The loyalty program is also top notch and has a very user friendly app that helps keep track of a number of metrics and allows user notes on each beer. But everything falls slightly short: loyalty nights such as trivia often get cancelled to allow a sporting event without any notice via the loyalty app. Also, some of the staff is awesome and will go to every length to make your stay perfect. But many fall way short, often forgetting about their customers or failing to enter food orders (worth noting that the management took appropriate action with comped drinks and meals, but it should have been avoidable). Another example: bathroom is clean, modern, has high quality soap and towels, but the soap dispenser is broken. Once again, a really great place, but has enough kinks that may taint the experience.
