Seattle’s Best Vegetarian Restaurants | Eater Seattle

"It’s not just vegetarian pizza, it’s topping combinations — baked eggs and herbs, wasabi pineapple — that actually work. Anyone who wants a jump start on a vegan slice can call in the request ahead of time, and the next pie that goes in the oven will be vegan, like magic." - Matthew Lombardi

While I'm no pizza connissuier (really, who is?), it only took my one bite to know with certainly that this might well be the best pizza in Seattle. Every ingredient was in balance. Temperature, crispness of the crust, and flavor of the crust. Tomato sauce, toppings, cheese, in harmonious balance and above average quality. I wouldn't normally make a special trip just for a slice of pizza, but in this case I would.

World Pizza is a great family-owned spot with huge, delicious slices. You can tell they really care about making it great. Definitely worth checking out!

Google
World Pizza is a can't miss, absolute gem in the International District. I've been coming here for 15 years and am never disappointed. Definitely go for the quintessential potato pizza and if they have it, the pineapple wasabi. Solid beers on tap and KILLER chocolate chip cookies. We love coming here before a Sounders game.

We ordered a whole cheese pizza, just to eat on the curb of the Chinatown Seafair Parade. The staff was amazing, and did everything to accommodate our family in a busy, challenging environment. The food was fantastic, but really, it was the kindness of the staff that really stuck out. Please support this local business; they're great people with amazing food.

Google
Great food, great price, wonderful service, amazing atmosphere! DEFINITELY an experience. The best pizza place around. we oldered 2 pizzas and coffee here, both are perfect! GREAT VALUE!

Google
Arguably the best pizza in Seattle. Delicious (and I know pizza)! The famous Roasted Red Potato was excellent, great combination of thin crust + crispy (not soggy) + high quality ingredients. Will 100% return and try the pepperoni and “build your own” (eyeing the Italian sausage and roasted mushrooms). Easy phone or online order and pickup. Talked with the owners and they seem great!

Google
Hands down this is the best by the slice pizza joint in CID/Pioneer Square. They have a slice for basically every appetite and every single one of them tastes amazing. If they have it I'd highly recommend their Jalapeño/Pineapple or Vegan slices. The music is always great and the staff is extremely friendly. They also have a good choice of beer available on tap of by the bottle.

Google
With my Dad being Vegan, I am always on the lookout for places that are vegetarian and vegan-friendly. World Pizza, instantly jumps on that list and is a place I can wholeheartedly recommend to my Dad, or if you just need a tasty slice. Very cute and welcoming, with a nice selection of pizzas you can get by the slice. I ended up getting a slice of their cheese, which I enjoyed the standout is definitely the crust. My only slight complaint is that I was not overly impressed with the sauce. Glad I walked by, and would definitely recommend.

Yelp
Came hungry and stumbled on this place. Vegetarian Pizza in the meat centric ID? To have a pizza place here, I felt it has to be good. Coming in, a throwback to calmer times as far as ambiance here. Reminds me of the older vegetarian restaurants I would go to in the past. Looking over the menu, could see many delicious choices. Great vegetable selections on the pizzas here. Ooh, pizza with artichoke hearts, tomatoes, red onion with Field Roast sausage. Their famous Roasted Red Potato with gorgonzola cheese, rosemary, garlic. In the meat centric ID, this place is an anomaly. A pizza with Baked egg, "sunnyside up" with fresh herbs, basil, black pepper, rosemary and oregano. Pizza has a nice sturdy crust , to hold up to to vegetable offerings on the pizza. OoooooooooOrdered all of these, plus the amazing Greek salad. Fresh cucumbers, tomatoes, feta, Italian parsley, pepperoncini, red onions, kalamata olives tossed in house lemon and olive oil dressing. Pizza is made to order and definitely gives a homemade spin. Feel healthy eating here, with the great vegetable oriented pizzas. Service was quick and cheerful. Would recommend and come back here again. Have to tell my stomach we are not having dim sum, roasted duck or delicious eggs tarts as my stomach expects this in this neighborhood.

Yelp
I was exploring the International District/Chinatown and stumbled upon World Pizza and what a wonderful find it was! I was drawn in by an enticing aroma and knew I had to get a slice to try, even though pizza was definitely not what I had planned on having for lunch. I wasn't sure what to get, as they have several options available to get by the slice (all of which looked delicious). Well, in the process of deciding I got to have a great conversation with the owners, Aaron and Wren, two of the most fantastic people I met while I was in Seattle. They have both a passion for their food, local food, and their community, which really makes this a standout establishment that everyone should visit. Also, because I finally settled on Wren's recommendation of the potato pizza with some of their house made habanero sauce (very spicy, the way I like it!) and it was absolutely phenomenal. Cheesy, flavorful, a superb slice even without the hot sauce. While you can easily get yourself a whole pizza or some slices to go (all vegetarian by the way), they also have a fair amount of seating inside if you would like to enjoy the warm and friendly space for a little longer.

Yelp
My pals unanimously praised the delicious cheese pizza, which is, to be honest, the finest I've ever eaten in Washington. Highly recommended!!

Yelp
Always on the hunt to expand my pizza options and scrolling through DoorDash one night, I discovered World Pizza. Pizza really tastes like it was homemade. So much so that it reminded me of making midnight pizzas with an old roommate. If you like your pizzas saucy, World Pizza is for you. If you're not, approach with caution because they are very generous with the sauce. I've only ordered online, but if you order in person it's worth asking if they could do a light sauce. To me, the crust is the star. Soft but plentiful, and a great way to scoop up any of that extra sauce from the slices. Price wise World Pizza maches what you'll find in Seattle, all pies are 16" but can range between $23.99 (cheese and the base rate for their 'create your own') to $28.99 (can go higher if you chooose additional toppings). Each pizza box seems to come with a custom hand drawing. World Pizza has become a favorite, but I have to take a star away because their hours can be pretty irregular (not counting the holidays), which can make it hard if you're spontaneously craving pizza.

Yelp
Service was nice, and it was pizza. It gave my kids a food option for something more familiar in the international district. Pizza was fair.

Yelp
Walking around the ID this morning and for some reason was craving pizza for breakfast and just my luck they had an egg pizza! The owners were really nice and the place is very cozy and the pizza is all vegetarian and tastes very homemade and delicious. They have their own hot sauce too which was really good. Very cool little spot, I definitely will be back!

Yelp
I've always walked by World Pizza when walking around the Chinatown-International District, but I never had an urge to pop in for pizza until a food walk to me here, fortunately. My friend recommended we try World Pizza during the event, and I'm glad I listened to her. We visited World Pizza on our food walk where there was a special on their peach pizza. When we visited, we saw that they weren't allowing dine-in at the time nor do they have outdoor seating. But the thing about getting a slice of pizza is that it's easy to take on the go. After I ordered a slice of their peach pizza, they heated it up for me and it was solid. I don't normally like sweet-savory foods, but the peach with the bleu cheese on the pizza worked well together, so I was a fan of the slice. It's not a pizza I would normally order, so I'm glad they offered this as a food walk special, otherwise, I'm not sure I would've tried it. They did have other classic flavors that were ready for takeout, as well as their chocolate chip cookies that my friend mentioned was bomb here. Pizza in Chinatown. Who knew?

Yelp
Mom and Pop Pizza shop in the CID. A wholesome pizza from wholesome people. As a resident in the neighborhood. Grateful to have World Pizza here.

Yelp
Ambiance, Pizza, service! Super friendly family owned pizza place! Cold brew ! Fresh pizza ! BIG OLE COOKIES! What else could you ask for? They been around for a while, we love this place! They greet us so warmly and did I mention the cold brew?

Yelp
I would highly recommend World Pizza for anyone who's looking for not only good quality pizza, but also a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The owners here take the time to talk and get to know customers, and I really felt like it was a community in it's own. Looking at the interior, you can get a sense of the community, I even added a pizza box art piece of my own!

Yelp
I mean the pizza is gross. Soggy. Floppy. Bland. Had two slices here. I think the owner was there running things. Real chill vibe in there because nobody is there. It's a weird location on the outskirts of the ID. Anyway they serve beer too so that's fine. But the pizza slices are really gross and not good. Counter style service. I did not enjoy it. It's not actually difficult to make tasty pizza. But they aren't doing that.

Yelp
Ehhh. I don't know if it's because I stopped in for a late night bite, or what, but I definitely wasn't that impressed with this place. I feel like the pies here felt akin to something similar to cafeteria slices that schoolchildren get - something thin and tasteless, hard and chewy, something that's been sitting under a lamp for 8 hours. This pizza joint is located in chinatown; but has no chinese or asian influence in flavors or even decor from what I could see. The walls are painted a striking overwhelming red, and dotted with strange abstract paintings that I didn't really care for - it's definitely a look though. The inside itself was sticky and gross. There was a cart near the back filled with dirty dishes that didn't look like it had been emptied in a while. Each table is equipped with parmesan and pepper flakes which are covered in grease and grime. Pies are sold whole or by the slice; you order at the counter when you walk in and pay there.

Yelp
I've been passing World Pizza for years in the ID and funnily enough, stopped in during the ID Night Market. It's a cute, cozy restaurant with a little eating nook in the back and a couch up front (where we ate). The owners were super friendly and chatted with us while we ate (before the rush came in). I got a slice of the mushroom pizza and it was good. I can't handle any spice but I loved their homemade habanero sauce. I noticed they had a Greek salad that I want to try. World Pizza is a little outside my work lunch zone but because the owners were so sweet, I will definitely be back to visit.

Yelp
I love this corner pizza spot with vegetarian and vegan options. I have been coming here since 2016/2017, and the quality is consistent. I also love their house-made salts and habanero hot sauce!

Yelp
Been trying to cut back on the carbs, and decided to cheat for a slice of pizza while we were walking through the International District. It's a fairly small pizza place that offers pizza by the slice and went with a tried and true topping of pepperoni. We were promptly greeted and service was friendly when we ordered. Now onto the pizza , possibly because it was towards the end of the night, but as much as I was craving pizza this didn't hit the spot. Though they did heat up the slice, it wasn't heated up enough. The crust a bit too hard and cheese not melted enough. The pepperoni had a nice lil kick to it, but with everything else lacking it couldn't save the pizza. Maybe it was a sign, I should keep off the carbs.

Yelp
Classic and unique pizza variety on the menu. Pizza by the slice are always available. Specialty whole pizza pies can be called in or ordered online. Stop in for a quick grab and go meal. Yummy pizza. Deliciously portioned!

Yelp
Sometimes I forget that you can get pretty delicious pizza right in Chinatown. A bit of an odd ball to find a local small pizza parlor nudged within the historic neighborhood, but I do really enjoy their pizza and it's pretty damn affordable! Space is small and quaint, with minimal seating around the front, you step into World Pizza and order right at the counter. You could purchase by slice or order a whole pizza. Slices are a couple bucks and are reheated as you order. Occasionally they will come fresh from the oven, during a busier rush. You can add pepper flakes and parmesan cheese at the counter yourself - very much a grab n go style. My personal favorites are the margherita pizza and potato pizza. A great lunch option for those of you who have a tight packed schedule and want a filling meal!

Yelp
Nice family owned pizza place in Seattle Chinatown. The pizza is very delicious and their dough is different from other pizza places. Stop in for a slice and an ice cold pint, you won't be disappointed.

George J.

Yelp
Delicious, soft pizza that actually gives you a good amount of tomato sauce, something that always falls short elsewhere
google avatar

Yelp
The perfect neighborhood pizzeria and not what you'd expect in Chinatown, but all the better (coming from a Chinese person)! Fantastic spot for slices and a whole pie. My wife and I get a pie here regularly for our Friday or Saturday nights, and it always hits our craving. They also have a great Greek salad and chocolate chip cookies. Inside has a really cool, funky and homey feel with bright colors and homemade pizza boxes. Looks to be a family-run business with a lot of warmth and character. Super clean and welcoming atmosphere. It's a vegetarian pizzeria, and the options are creative and most importantly absolutely delicious (addicting?).

Yelp
Great selection. Delicious Pizza. Large Size/Quantity and Value for Money. Lastly, delicious, delicious and delicious.

Yelp
I've just returned from my first (and not last) check-in from World Pizza. Its a cute restaurant is in the International District so, if its not Asian food that you are craving and you happen to be in the area, I recommend this quaint pizza joint. There is super friendly staff. The slice was great! It was so cheesy and it had a nice, crispy bottom crust. I think I got a rosemary/potato/bleu slice. It wasn't oily and the wonderful combination on my pizza was a delight. I tried out their Greek salad.. And maybe I shouldn't have since I'm not much of an olive and onion fan. (It was jam packed with them.) I also tried out their gianormous cookie which they offered to heat up. I really like the crispiness that the oven gives to the restaurants food. The cookie is more fluffy than dense though. Cute, little hole in the wall restaurant. Extremely nice staff. Delicious food. It's a solid 4/5.

Yelp
4.5 stars Pretty standard pizza by the slice place smack dab in the middle of Chinatown. Unusual as that may seem the pizza is pretty tasty and the two people inside were friendly. We only got 2 slices of cheese and a slice of cheese and pepperoni. Thrown back into the oven to reheat from sitting out on display the bits that were much more crispy than the rest were my fave. I got a few bites in the middle that weren't as crisp and were a bit greasy and soft because of it. Overall tasty and glad I came across them on a google search within walking distance of the hostel.

Yelp
I was excited about this pizza joint...service was friendly and I wish my experience was better. The pizza was greasy and over sauced. So over sauced in fact that my pizza was heavy and hard to eat. The crust was good, my favorite part. I ordered the field roast slice and didn't like the field roast, so I picked it all off and gave it to my girlfriend. There were only about 5 pieces, so for a price increase (maybe a buck more than the cheese) it's not worth it. Girlfriend got the cheese and liked it fine, said if she was in the mood for that kind of pizza, she'd come back. My grip with this place is that it is dirty. It feels dirty inside and it smells dirty. It's also hot inside of there!
google avatar

Henry L.

Yelp
People say this place doesnt belong in chinatown but thats just fake news. This place dishes up some damn tasty pizzas between $3-$4 a slice. Clean taste, simple ingredients, and quality is what comes to mind when im chowing down on a slice of pie. The price is a little high bit hey, if you paying $5 for a bubble tea with 25% of the cup filled with ice, there is no reason you cant pay $4 for a slice of pizza.
google avatar

Kati P.

Yelp
We were curious/happy to find this vegetarian/vegan pizza joint and went for the first time. It's definitely a dive and you can feel the cool vibes in the nostalgic old building. I am a SUPER PIZZA SNOB because I'm from NJ and know what pizza is supposed to taste like! World Pizza got pretty high marks from me on the cheese/sauce front, but the hard crust was not pleasant. Pizza should have a chewy texture and this one was so cracker-like, that folding the pizza (the ONLY way to eat it) was not easy at all. I wish them well, but I don't think I'll be a regular.
google avatar

Yelp
On a recent weeknight, I stumbled in to World Pizza for a slice of pizza. I had missed happy hour, and the staff asked me if I'd like to order a whole pizza. I inquired if I could purchase just a slice, and the staff said "of course" and kindly described each of the offerings. There was a red pepper, onion, olive, a rosemary garlic potato, and a chipotle field roast available by the slice. I opted for the latter, and enjoyed the soft, chewy crust with gooey cheese and thinly sliced field roast. World Pizza's offerings are vegetarian-friendly, but meat lovers would delight in the flavorful options available by the slice and by the whole pie. They no longer offer espresso-based beverages, but the staff were kind enough to recommend Eastern Cafe, a block and a half over. Thanks for the warm welcome, the tasty pizza, and the kind service!

Yelp
Was starving from burlycon and needed some quick eats before the Shuga Shaq show and this place fit the bill. Walking around the corner I could smell the fresh pizza baking. I walked in and they had pizzas coming out of the oven ready to go. I got two slices for under 8 dollars and they were big. Ended up giving one to a friend cause I couldn't possibly eat two. The cheese pizza was tasty with a slight kick to the sauce. Hot and delicious plus great service. Id definitely eat here again.

Yelp
I didnt even know this was a vegetarian spot.....I was just trying to get a couple of slices. Came by in the afternoon and it wasnt too busy, staff is super friendly upon entering, helpful in explaining the pizzas they have available, helpful in telling me what pizzas are coming out from the oven if I wanted to wait a few minutes. Nice to chat with as well. So I got a slice of cheese and a slice of the "fancy" pizza with roasted red peppers & their homemade pesto. They only call it "fancy' because that is the button they push on the cash register. Funny. Both slices were pretty tasty! The cheese one.....well, it was pretty much a standard cheese pizza slice. The roasted red pepper & pesto was delicious, nice amount of peppers and pesto was flavorful. Crust is different, I think it was a wheat crust? I dont know what it exactly was but it wasnt the typical kind. It was good and I totally ate it up! A little greasy but what do you really expect, I like my pizza a little greasy. Fold it and you are good to go!!! Whenever you are in ID and you dont want them chicken feets, stop by here for a slice. With this place being vegetarian, I didnt miss the meat on my pizza. Perfect spot to stop by before a Sounders game too! Slices were about $3 and totally worth it. Gotta come back to try more of their different kinds.

Yelp
3.5 Stars.. World pizza seemed a little out of place being in Chinatown..but I suppose it is actually called "international district"..well this is beside the point. I was REALLY craving pizza , so my fiancé suggested that we try this place out. He did mention that World Pizza only serves vegetarian pizzas, but that didn't matter to me. The pizzas were good! Perhaps because the pizzas were still pretty fresh, but they refreshed it for us anyways. The two specialty ones were their potato pizza and their "dragon" pizza, then they had a pepper one and a plain cheese one. I must admit that the thing that is lacking isn't the taste, but the underwhelming number of selection. I mean I have been to the fancy "Cheeseboard" in SF, in which they only sell ONE pizza the whole day (also only vegetarian), but they do it well. If World Pizza wants to have only 4 options, then I recommend that they change their options daily. Seems like the potato pizza has been on their menu for far too long...time to try something new! I believe World Pizza can improve, and I will definitely be back to try other creations as they come up.

Yelp
World pizza is some of the best I've had anywhere. Their crust, sauce, and toppings are all delicious. My personal favorites include the potato pizza and the wasabi-pineapple with field roast pepperoni. I really can't emphasize enough though how good the fundamentals are here too - such good crust and sauce! Add a cookie and a Manny's and you've stumbled upon the perfect lunch.
google avatar

Yelp
Yelp reviewers (especially ones from Seattle and Bellevue) are always right! This place was great. It was this small place that looks nothing like a pizza joint. From outside, it just looked like another chinese restaurant (cuz this place is literally surrounded by Chinese and other Asian restaurants. Once you enter, you will be greeted by a couple of guys. Both super cool and laid back. They are your pizza maker, cashier, and server. I went around 10:30 ish (a bit early) and they only had 3 different pizzas available by the slice. I got two out of the three. First pizza I tried was their cheese pie with some fake meat on it. It was a bit salty but yummy. Second pizza was roasted potatoes, which was my favorite of the two. By the time I was done, I noticed they had 3 or 4 more pizzas available. I was already really really full, but when I saw the wasabi, roasted bell pepper, and pineapple pizza, I had to give it a try. I am glad I did because it was definitely my fav of the three. Sweet, Savory, and spicy - all really worked well. I thought their dough was very unique. It tasted more like biscuit than pizza dough. Unique texture and flavor. Their sauce also had some... spice to it too. Recommended for sure! I used cash today, so I am not sure if they accept credit cards. Edit - oh, one more thing, they have a couple of craft beers on tap. They had Manny's and another beer from Odin Brewing (I think it was Odin's gift - but not 100% sure).
google avatar

Myranda M.

Yelp
Wish I could say nice things about the pizza because the staff was so nice, but the pizza was terrible. I ordered what I thought was pepperoni and pineapple although I think it was vegetarian. It tasted like a frozen pizza. The dough was flavorless and dry. The cheese tasted like it has been sitting for some time. This is the only pizza place in the ID and they could be doing a lot more to enhance the flavor. I would rather eat at Pizza Hut.
google avatar

Tom B.

Yelp
I love this spot. I grab lunch here about two or three times a month. No meat on the toppings, but real cheese. I usually get one slice of field roast and one of potato. Prices are average for by-the-slice pizza. If you are eating in they have a couple nice beers on tap and interesting sodas.

Yelp
What a cool vibe World Pizza's got going on! Hidden between a bunch of Chinese restaurants and karate dojos in the International District (like literally, hidden - I'm pretty sure if they did not prop their sign in the middle of the sidewalk, I would have walked right past them. I probably have a couple of times already!), this pizza joint is the epitome of a hip Seattle store front. There isn't a whole lot of room for sitting here, but there are a few booths, and a few seats by the window. What I really enjoyed about this place was just how much character was in the store - I've gotten so used to my office life and pristine coffee shops that I forget sometimes how much character a building can bring, and I think this place definitely reminded me of that. I stopped in for a quick lunch today and bought just a single slice of pizza, but you can buy a whole pie if you wanted to as well. What I really enjoyed about their pizza selection is that it was all vegetarian - there were two pizzas topped with what looked like pepperoni, but turned out to be field roast. The others included an onion, basil and feta pizza, a potato (!!) topped pizza, and what I ended up getting - a jalapeno and pineapple pizza. What a unique combination of flavors!! And I loved it! The sweet pineapple worked wonderfully with the little kick from the jalapeno - what a delightful surprise! I've a few friends who are vegetarians as well, so I love knowing that I can send them over to World Pizza and they'd have a variety of options, not just a single veggie pizza option. These pizzas' crusts are on the thinner side, so don't be expecting a ton of toppings - however, I enjoyed how crisp the crust was, and was able to gobble up every last bite because of this. They also had a Greek salad which I ordered a half-size of. It was okay, but not one of my faves. If they were to step up their shop a bit, it'd be to add more salads to balance out the meals, but honestly - I'd be perfectly happy if these guys stuck it with what they do best. These awesome pizza choices!

Yelp
We were originally going somewhere else in Chinatown but the place was so busy that we decided to look elsewhere. I had mentioned earlier that I was craving pizza and this was was near where we were so we decided to give it a shot. I grew up in the greater NYC area so I'm a little pretentious about my pizza but for being on the other side of the country this place was quite good. The crust was nice and thin which is how I prefer it. It was more flaky than doughy which is less my preference but not necessarily a bad thing. My biggest complaint was that the outer crust was not big. I don't think they rolled it over at all which would have been better. The sauce was good, in good proportion and had good flavor but it was a little too sweet in my opinion. I also which that had more options for their slices, they only had a couple when we went. However if this allows them to better focus on quality than I can't fault them too much for limiting their options. Definitely better than what I would have expected for a tiny shop in China town!

Yelp
I'd been told for years about World Pizza and how great their slices are. With this much build up, I did my best to temper my expectations before heading in and decided to try a slice of cheese (boring, I know) to get an idea for how they do the basics. Great pizza comes down to 2 things (cheese can be a wildcard): Crust -- should have a good bite and a good chew, not too crunchy nor excessively chewy and it needs to have that hint of yeast Sauce -- needs to have a bright tomato flavor and the proper amount of oregano to bring out that quintessential pizza flavor This slice didn't knock either of these out of the park. The crust was crunchy without chew, lacked yeast, and had an oddly sweet flavor. I'm thinking they used honey in their dough. The sauce was... meh. I couldn't taste oregano at all, there was far too much sauce, and overall, it tasted old/frozen/lifeless. It wasn't awful by any means, but it just wasn't interesting. Overall, the pizza reminded me of the frozen pizzas you have as a kid. It's serviceable, but it's not good. If I was in the neighborhood and wanted a slice, I'd go there, but I definitely wouldn't seek out this pizza. I should mention, that I understand the draw for this place is their vegetarian options and their funky toppings. That's cool. I had a bite of the potato pizza, it wasn't spectacular either. If you're hunting for a slightly askew pizza joint - then World Pizza may be up your alley. I happen to think they need to figure out the basics first. Service was quick and friendly - no complaints there.

Yelp
Such delicious pizza and the friendliest people who work there. We've tried all of their pizzas and all are great. The potato is a classic but tonight we did artichokes and mushrooms which was also fantastic!

Got the cheese pizza and it sucked. Dough tasted like cheap high school pizza dough. Sauce was okay, nothing unique. Cheese had zero flavor. They only had Vegetarian pepperoni option, ick. Cool little spot inside, and they had good beer on tap. I didn't have a beer though, since I drank too much beer the day before haha.

Yelp
On our recent trip to Seattle we found ourselves sitting at our Airbnb looking for some good old pizza, as we were staying in the ID there wasn't a lot of variety. Insert World Pizza. We walked down and almost missed the place as there wasn't a huge sign marking the business! We went in and it had a very antique, vintage, old-school feel. I wasn't crazy about my pizza but it grew on me the more I ate. My boyfriend on the other hand loved his pepperoni and jalapeno combination. We grabbed ourselves a cookie for dessert and man was it wonderful! It was huge for the price, a great deal if I do say so myself. The staff was next to none, they were super attentive to us when we walked in and were super helpful to give us recommendations on the pizza. When returning to grab the cookie they even offered to warm it up and bring it out to us. Top notch! The seating is limited but I kind of enjoyed that experience, we sat in a booth along the side of the kitchen and felt tucked away from the outside hustle and bustle. Would recommend if staying in the ID.

Yelp
Best pizza in Seattle. The girls that worked there were amazingly helpful and kind. Pricing is good and if you want to stay and eat you can do that as it is quite clean and comfy. Will be back! TASTY!

Yelp
I've been coming here since the first day they opened in Chinatown and it's my favorite pizza place in Seattle who can resist the wasabi pineapples? Or peaches in the summer and pears in fall? Yes, you read that right, peaches and pears on pizzas and it's scrumptiously delicious peaches n cream got nothin on this! If you want the best pizza experience, I would highly recommend you order a whole pizza because it's best when fresh. They use top quality ingredients! The slices they have sitting out sometimes soaks up all the sauce and gets soggy after being reheated. Not that I mind soggy pizza, but I know that's just me. Or try asking for the freshest one they have out. The staff has always been amazingly friendly. Oh, did I mention it's vegetarian? It's not that important cuz you won't even be able to tell from the tastes

Yelp
I live in California, this is some of the best in Seattle! Vegetarian, fresh, and handmade. They have the traditional styles but also offer unique combinations for those daring to venture out. Walking by you wouldn't realize it's a pizza spot since it's located in the International District so don't be sketched out! When you order you go up to the counter to see their selections. Once you have made your mind you let the worker know your choices and they take the slice(s) and heat then right up for you. I've tried the "pepperoni/Pineapple and of course, the potato/Gorgonzola. Flavor is just next level. The combination seems odd, but it is just so perfect. I am craving this pizza so bad as I type this, I want to be in Seattle so I could eat this everyday!! Til next time, World Pizza.

Yelp
Walked by this place on my way to Kau Kau barbecue and it smelled so good, I walked in. They had a nice selection of pizza slices, so ordered the roasted red potato pizza. I thought it was great. For me, a vegetable pizza can be delicious, but unsubstantial. You have to eat quite a bit until you get full. This pizza fills you up. I had one slice, ate and wanted more. But I was full. The crust is a sturdy crust, but not tough. It provides a good base for the tasty toppings. Liked the combination of ingredients, not overpowering. The pizza base sauce was nicely flavored and tasted homemade. I'm not a big fan of vegetable only pizza and this pizza was one of the few I have ever liked. They have a cozy little interior, with old style pictures. Sat in a booth and it is a nice little hideaway spot to relax. The pizza maker/ boss was nice and friendly. Surprised this was such a gem.

Yelp
From the pictures and reviews you would think this pizza would be to die for. After trying it...ugh not even close. No matter what toppings I had, I just could not get around the dough. I believe they use whole wheat and it just did not work for me. You will be chewing through one piece for the next 15 minutes. It was no bueno at all. Also, if you stop inside during the summer be prepared to sweat out about 5 lbs.

Yelp
I was travel-weary and hungry in the International District. I originally set out to find some good sushi but ended up at World Pizza. It's all vegetarian, which is fine by me. I ordered a slice of plain cheese and a slice with pepperoncinis and (I think) vegetarian sausage crumbles, as well as a full Greek salad, with a can of Georgetown Bodhizafa IPA. I thought the pizza was delicious, with a crispy, flavorful crust, and good sauce. The Greek salad was refreshing and tasty. I would go there again!

Yelp
Here we go, my very first yelp review for World's Pizza (woohoo): I found this place because I work close by. It locates in International District and walking distance from lots of buses. I usually get their potato Pizza but today I decided to try something new(I'm glad that I did!). So I got wasabi pineapple Pizza and pesto cheese pizza. I'm a pesto lover so I know I wouldn't have problem loving my pesto Pizza but I was a bit skeptical about the wasabi pineapple. But oh my gosh, it's really good! You can taste the sweetness and spiciness from wasabi but ALSO the sourness and sweetness from the pineapple. With the marinara sauce and crispy think crust (oh yes, all their pizzas are think crust), it is perfect! I have never thought about the flavors like these would work out but they really taste great! Can't wait to bring my friends here and introduce this to them!

Yelp
Great pepperoni. The rest was gimmicky. I tried 4 different slices from this place to get a nice mix of what they offer. Btw, you can order slices via UberEats to mix up your pizza. That was pretty great. I got a cheese, pepperoni, roasted potato, and some veggie pizza (it was the "variety" pizza). In order of best to worst, they were: Pepperoni, Roasted Potato, Cheese, Veggie Pepperoni: Fantastic. The pepperonis were extremely unique. I haven't ever had a pepperoni that tasted quite like they did. It's like they were using a different kind of meat altogether. This place is vegetarian and it got me wondering if it was a vegan meat. I can't say for sure, but it was tasty regardless. It was a hearty, earthy flavor with a hint of spice rather than the super savory/spicy flavor of a traditional pepperoni. The cheese pizza underneath it all was much better with pepperoni on it. It realllllly needed that extra kick. I don't care much for their cheese, which I'll get to in a moment. Roasted Potato: This was an interesting pizza. I discovered I love potato on pizza not too long ago and this reinforced that notion. It was delicious, but a tad gimmicky. This is a bit of a running theme of this place. I don't like that their pizzas taste ULTRA spiced. It doesn't come out quite as heavily on the pepperoni, which is why I really liked that one, but the rest it did, to varying degrees. It makes it hard to enjoy the various toppings when the pizza itself is blasting you in the face with herbs and spices. It was just too salty/sweet for my liking. Pizza shouldn't be that sweet. Cheese: It was difficult to say if this or the veggie was worse, but the veggie edged it out just barely. I don't like the cheese pizza for the above reason: the spices do not taste good on their own. It's an overwhelming amount of flavor, like a white sauce pasta dish that someone dumped a whole lot of italian seasoning onto. So when you don't have any other toppings to take some of the spice flavor away, you just get this ridiculously powerful spice flavor that shouldn't be happening on a cheese pizza. Veggie: This barely edged out cheese for my least favorite because the sweetness from the veggies they used stacked on the heavy spices gave it this sweet earthy flavor that I just couldn't get passed. I ate a couple bites and set it down. It's not bad tasting, but it was so much "less good" than the others that I didn't want to waste my stomach space on it. That said, I also very much dislike veggie heavy pizzas in general. If you want to eat healthy, pizza is not the dish for you. I appreciate how unique World Pizza's spices make their flavor profile. It's unlike any pizza I've had in Seattle. It just isn't my cup of tea. It's worth a try if you're a pizza connoisseur or looking for something different, but it's hard to recommend this place as a repeat spot for getting your pizza fix. It just doesn't taste enough like real pizza. The pepperoni is the only real winner here, in my opinion. If I want a healthier kind of pizza, I will go to the far superior Humble Pie. That place has truly mastered the art of "healthy", fresh tasting pizza.
