Secret Disney World Attractions That Many Guests Don't Know About

"Explore Epcot’s World Showcase in a whole new way with one of Disney’s newest in-park adventures. Disney’s DuckTales World Showcase Adventure (which replaced Phineas and Ferb: Agent P’s World Showcase Adventure) is an interactive scavenger hunt that uses Disney’s mobile app. Players join Scrooge McDuck as they globetrot to seven different country pavilions, including Mexico and Canada, to uncover “priceless lost magic treasures” all while unlocking otherwise hidden experiences in each country. The adorable Huey, Dewey, and Louie are along for the ride too, and since missions are assigned randomly, each game can be a totally new experience, play after play." - Travel + Leisure Editors

The world showcase is a spectacular place where you can travel along 1.3 miles and visit 11 country themed pavilions. I have been here a few times and Mexico, France and Norway are some of my favorite places to visit. Take the opportunity to plan out your visit, especially making reservations for dinners in the various countries. The San Angel Inn restaurant in the Mexico pavilion is my favorite. Love the scenery, bright colors, and excellent food. The World Showcase also provides some of the best rides at Disney. Remy‘s Ratatouille Adventure and Frozen Ever After are great family rides. This takes some planning to make sure your day is not wasted in lines, and I highly recommend purchasing the Lightning pass. I realize they are expensive, but it really will enhance the time you have in the park and allow you to see so much more. Some rides you will not even be able to get on unless you have the pass so make sure you understand the entire process. Overall, enjoy walking around the various countries, trying the cuisine, visiting the souvenir and the gift shops and taking in the beautiful decor. If you’re not too tired, stay into the evening and watch.” Luminous: The Symphony of Us” which is a fireworks, water, fountain, and light show. You won’t be disappointed.

World showcase was my favorite part of spending the day in Epcot. It includes pavilions/sections of 10 different countries. Each of them had some rides, food and drinks stalls, and gift shops. Each pavilion’s food and drinks shops were super busy, with waiting line up to 10-15 minutes. Among the pavilions, Norway, Italy and UK were my favorites. Frozen ride was in Norway pavilion. They also had incredible body wash and lotion in their shop. They also lots of viking themes items. Italy had very nice products in their shops. China and Japan’s gift shops were huge. Took me 10-15 minutes just to walk around the whole store. In the Japan pavilion, they also had the temple gate lined up to the Epcot globe. They also have a tram ride next other the Canadian pavilion that goes the island in the middle of the pond. It took us several hours to stop at each pavilion, check out each of their offerings and gift shops. We did a lot of shopping from different ones. Prices were little high understandably so. I also tried the chicken tikka curry and lasso from one small Indian stall. It was pretty good actually, and the price was surprisingly cheap.

A park like area where you can look across the lagoon at all of the different country pavilions represented here at Epcot. Good place to take a break and have a snack. Usually uncrowded.

The premise of this area is countries of the world, you taste the food and meet people from that county. Japans drums drew a good crowd and the nachos in Mexico are amazing! The fireworks are well worth the wait. Excellent musical score and great atmosphere. The exit was surprisingly quick considering how many people were leaving.

My favorite part of this park is walking around the showcase. Don't forget to save your snacks from your dinning plan and use them to taste the food from each area. It's best to come in the morning and in the evening. Make sure to get a dinning reservation at the Canadian pavilion. It's pretty good.

One of my most looked forward to attractions in Florida! Every time we visit, I look forward to going to the World Showcase. Each country is represented brilliantly, down to the people working in each pavilion, British tea at the Rose and Crown, bratwurst sausage at the German Pavilion and Vegetable Udon in Japan. Even the Cast Members are from the corresponding countries. Mixed with some Princess meet and greets like Jasmine in Morocco and Alice in the UK, a walk around this mile-long, circular Disney attraction is up there with the greats.

Enjoyed a day at EPCOT with my dear friend. We got our PH Magnet, saw The Spinners put on a great show, ate some great food and got lots and lots of steps in.

This is something everyone should do at least once in their lives! We had such a blast here, enjoying the food and sights of the showcase is something truly unique that cannot be done anywhere else. We started in Great Britain and worked our way to France (it was simply where the sky liner deposited us, so why not! We did a food sampler at each country, and enjoyed each and every one of the offerings! The standouts of the bunch were, well, everything! And it’s not just the food and beverages that were amazing. Wander through the buildings, check out the miniature village, see the temples and peruse the wares at all the regional shops.
