Highly Opinionated: The 8 Best Chicken Caesar Salad Wraps in LA | Eater LA

"A 1990s chain and one of the originators of fast-casual wrapping, remembered here as the author’s teenage ``go-to Caesar wrap destination'' in Palo Alto. The chain embodied Y2K-era optimism and reimagined many dishes as burrito-esque creations; a June 1995 article in the San Francisco Examiner dubbed it “the clean-cut, Gen X answer to fast food,” adding: “After a World Wrapp meal, you can still play volleyball, ride bikes or go to the health club. After a Tex-Mex burrito, only a siesta will do.” The piece notes that the brand faded into obscurity before reemerging in 2016 under new ownership with an updated look and menu." - Hilary Pollack

Google
I wanted a chicken Cesar salad wrap and this place delivered. The potatoes were good too. I wanted to go back in the morning and get another one but they didn’t open until 11:30 on a Sunday and I had to leave earlier than that.

My parents visited this restaurant and came home excited to tell me how delicious the food was and how impressed they were with the staff. I wanted to see for myself if it lived up to their praise, so I decided to try it. When I arrived, the cashier, Julieth, helped me and recommended several dishes, which were incredible. I chose the chimichurri dish, where Geobany's attention made me feel welcome. At the end of this wonderful experience, everyone said goodbye and wished me a happy day. I really appreciate this kind of attention, as it's not common in many restaurants.

Google
I ordered the Gaucho steak and shrimp quesadilla and wow, it was so delicious! The flavors from the chimichurri, along with the steak and shrimp were so good. Everything worked together really well and to just think about it is making my mouth water. I ordered a side of papas bravas and those were also very good. They took me back to when we were on vacation in Spain. Great job with the food and great service! I will definitely be back.

Google
Fries are really good for me I like the garlic aioli and the tikka sauce. They heated the fries a little too hot for me to eat them easily. The order ahead terminals also can't process orders correctly.

Google
My work orders food from this place for lunch once a week, so I tried ordering their spicy tuna bowl. God, what a mistake that was. It didn't even taste like tuna! I think they might have used some other cheaper fish: if they did use tuna, it certainly didn't taste like it. At best it tasted like "cream of tuna": it was just a disgusting mess of sauce and whatever random fish they used, along with a bowl full of crappy sides (including avocado ... how do you mess up avocado? somehow, they did). Oh, and the chips that came with my meal were stale too :( Never eating at this restaurant again!

Love, love, love this place! Located next to McDonalds in Stanford Mall and right across the covered parking garage. Small area but they’ve made good use of the space. I’ve walked past this place several times because I’m just not into wraps- until i saw people in the outside seating area with bowls!!! They have food selections- asian themed in taste. I loved the options they have for their Nori bowls and how you can choose between, chicken or steak. You get bang for your buck because they don‘t scrimp on the ingredients. You will get a generous portion and totally money well spent! Food is presented well & carefully prepared- it’s almost a shame to wat it! There’s something for everyone! Kids menu, vegetarian options… I like how they’re environmentally conscious. Waste sorting bins and the first place that i’ve seen use bamboo straws! Way better than paper straws because they don’t get mushy however long it’s submerged in your drink. Great ambiance with good music that plays from a central sound system. Nothing too loud but sends a good vibe. Staff are nice and polite. I got the impression that it was self service but staff behind the counter insisted we leave our trays on the table. I loved the bowl i got and left stuffed. I literally walked around & shopped afterwards because you will need that walk! Would definitely come back here to try the other bowls. I’m glad that there’s an option to get a bowl if you’re not into wraps. The bulgogi steak nori bowl i got was sooooo yummy!!!! I’m salivating just thinking of it right now. Bowl had some seaweed seasoning sprinkled on it which went really well with the dish. Orders can be placed on big touch screen kiosks at the counter where you can customize your order.

Google
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Amazing service from the entire team at World Wrapps! There was a small miscommunication with my order, but Giovanni handled it immediately and professionally. He resolved everything with a great attitude and made the process completely stress-free. On top of that, the rest of the team did a fantastic job ensuring my food was prepared on time and everything went smoothly despite the mix-up. I really appreciated how respectful, efficient, and coordinated everyone was. Thank you to Giovanni and the whole team for turning a potential issue into a great experience!

Yelp
1/7/2026 I was looking for something different from the usual fast-food chains, and World Wrapps delivered. I went with the steak gaucho quesadilla--based on the name, I expected something Argentine-inspired. It was well-stuffed with steak, melted cheese, their own chimichurri and fresh tomatoes spilling out. Gaucho basically means cowboy from Argentina, so I was hoping for some familiar flavors, maybe chimichurri-style vibes, and it worked. Although, the chimichurri in Argentina tasted different, I'd definitely recommend it--simple, filling, and really good, plus they do have some egg-allergy-friendly options. It was also very busy and despite the hectic energy, the workers were nice and friendly.

Yelp
Good evening! The food tonight was out of this world! I ordered the spicy tuna bowl with avocado on top. As a side of course the "world fries" were a must, outstanding . The service was excellent as I was placing my order the staff was cleaning the house / tables inside the restaurant, well done. The manager made sure to ask if I was doing well with my ordering process and I said yes . The music and location inside the mall is perfect for a great meal . The quality of the food is a 10... which makes for my next comment, it's not cheap. It's worth the money. You pay for a good meal.

Yelp
Food was great! The wait is fine. Pretty noisy but again, you're at the Mall. Will definitely recommend!

Yelp
World Wraps is hands down one of my favorite spots. The food is always amazing, fresh, flavorful, and consistently on point every time I come in. You can really tell they care about quality. The customer service is just as great as the food. Everyone is super friendly and welcoming, and they always make me feel good the moment I walk through the door. It's one of those places where you're treated like a regular, even if it's your first visit. Highly recommend World Wraps if you're looking for great food and even better service!

Yelp
Had a fantastic experience dining here. I was on my lunch break and decided to stop by and grab some healthy food and my food was made very quickly. The dish was made fresh and was greeted multiple times as I ate. I also want to give a huge shoutout to Giovanni for asking how I was doing and really making sure I was acknowledged. Come here if you're wanting a light refreshing and healthy meal.

Yelp
Gio offered excellent customer service!!! Definitely going back everything is made with love

Yelp
I had a great experience today at World Wrapps! Not only was this tastiest Caesar wrap I've had in a long time, I really appreciate how attentive and helpful the employee who helped me was. I have an allergy to apples, and I asked if the dressing had apple cider vinegar - she told me she would look, but made a point to ask me if I wanted any proteins as she was pretty sure they were all marinated in ACV and sure enough, everything except a couple things was in that marinade. She did confirm I was okay with the dressing. Most places are not as accommodating or aware of ingredients, and I was super impressed! Will definitely be a return customer.
google avatar

Eric R.

Yelp
It was my first time going there and I truly loved the customer service. The employee named Geo was very friendly and helpful and giving me lots of options to try out since it was my first time going there. Will definitely be going there again!

Yelp
World Wrapps is a great spot to grab a quick, healthy bite while walking around the Stanford Shopping Mall. While the wrap was good, my standout favorite was their surf & turf kale salad. The portions are very generous and they don't skimp on the protein! The bowl is piled high with shrimp, steak, mushrooms, and sweet potatoes all topped with their garlic dressing. This is a great spot to stop for a quick lunch or dinner after exploring the mall or Stanford campus. Inside seating is pretty limited, but they have heat lamps for some of their outdoor seating.

Yelp
Love love love. Fresh ingredients and healthy options that taste delicious. Had the tuna nori wrap which was good. Had better ones but this tasted good. Shout out to Hayes and Cesar for their warm hospitality. Hayes recommended the pineapple mint juice and gave me samples of others. Juice was refreshing and delish. Hayes hooked it up for 10% discount for first time customer which was super nice. Tipped it back and more of course. Cesar was super friendly and helpful, said they make their flat bread fresh daily made to order and that I should've tried that. Will next time. And he complimented me with a delicious chocolate fudge brownie which was yum! Nice chill ambiance, tall doors and ceiling which I liked--it allowed for plenty of fresh air to flow through. Glad I stopped by!

Yelp
I've been seeing chicken Caesar wraps everywhere on TikTok lately, so I had to finally try one for myself. The wrap was really good, I like the concept a lot. The chicken was tender and the whole thing felt fresh. It was a bit heavy on the dressing for my taste, but still enjoyable overall.
google avatar

Deandre D.

Yelp
I've been going to World Wrapps for years now. When I want healthy food I go to World Wrapps, especially since there's always new items on the menu to try and I like that there's a spinach wrap option for almost every entree when I want a wrap instead of a bowl.

Yelp
5 stars for the surf n turf salmon and beef bowl! This is my second time ordering food from here and I just had to get the same bowl because it was that good. Each time I noticed I'd finish the salmon portion first, but that is not to say the beef isn't great because it's still pretty good. I also love the chimichurri sauce on the salad. I love that the tartness of the chimichurri balances out the fat from the salmon and beef. The brown rice and quinoa mix is the perfect base. It's a very satisfying and filling meal. I thought the pineapple mint drink was just ok, I don't think I'd order it again. The double chocolate cookie was too sweet for me personally. As a smaller person I split one bowl into two meals. My dad ordered the shrimp and beef bowl, which comes with different dressing and sides but he still liked it (he finished his bowl) and said he'd revisit, which is rare. Highly recommend this place although don't expect it to be very fast service like fast food.

Yelp
We found this little gem in between doctors appointments at Stanford. It is conveniently located in the Stanford Mall just down the street from Stanford Hospital. It's a little place with both indoor and outdoor dining. The crew there is very friendly and helpful. They had a wide array of choices. You order from a kiosk, which is easily explained. My son went for the surf and turf quesadilla, my daughter tried their chicken adobo burrito and I went for the chicken teriyaki wrap. Some of their signature drinks are premade and available at the kiosk. We know it's lots of people ordering and picking up. And the wraps are made on site, I believe. Everything was delicious. I would definitely not hesitate to return.

Yelp
Just were shopping and needed a quick bit to eat. Perfect place. We had the shrimp and steak wrap and it was delicious. Had some fries and two drinks. Services was easy with the automated kiosk and staff bring the food to your table. They have a couple of tables inside and outside. Would definitely try again if we were in the area.
google avatar

Carlie B.

Yelp
I got this as takeout. I got the adobo burrito. It was really good! Pretty big for me so I get to have it again tomorrow. Pretty heavy on the rice but I didn't mind because it added flavor. Would recommend!

Miggy F.

Yelp
GREAT food and GREAT service! Very impressed with all the options. Love the Caesar salad wrap here

Gold F.

Yelp
Most of their stuff are very friendly , but their manager - a middle aged fat pale skin lady with red cheek ( can't tell the ethnicity is white or Latino ) was always so mean . I have been there many times , that lady was always grumpy , if she treat me one more time with that kind of attitude , I am going to report her to their company .
google avatar

Christie G.

Yelp
The service is always fast. They employees are always keeping the storefront clean. The serves are friendly and go above and beyond. The food is delicious.
google avatar

Grace X.

Yelp
I had the argentinian chimichurri tofu wrap for delivery, it was delicious. Menu has lots of vegan options and is well labeled. Wrap was a little bit smaller than I was expecting, but very flavorful.
google avatar

Yelp
Excellent food, excellent service. Staff was so friendly! Will come back again!!!!!!!!

Yelp
I just love their samurai salmon wrap, I get it with no rice and it's just so fresh and yummy and filling. The tortilla is so soft and chewy and it's GREEN which is so fun. The servers are super friendly and the vibes are so nice with the outdoor seating. I always forget this place exists but I need to come here more.
google avatar

Katie L.

Yelp
We got the chicken tikka masala bowl and the spicy tuna bowl. Both meals were tasty, balanced, and fresh. I added avocado for $1.50, but I wish the portion had been more generous. I was also excited to try the watermelon aqua fresca, but it had way too much lemon juice. I could barely finish it.
google avatar

Kevin F.

Yelp
I love the wraps here. When I need a quick bite before work, I always stop here. It's close to Stanford Hospital which makes it a convenient stop.

Joe C.

Yelp
I ordered New steak and shrimp quesadillas ! Lots of food, but shrimp is American style, feels like you are eating plastic ! The stake is so bad ! Definitely, did not like the food ! The girl serving is very nice ! The place is nice !
google avatar

Rachel S.

Yelp
This place was conveniently near the Stanford campus and where I was staying in Menlo Park, and there are several vegetarian and vegan options. I tried the watermelon Fresca drink and the chimichurri bowl, which was ready in less than 10 minutes and tasted great! The bowl felt balanced and had a good amount of flavorful sauce. The staff were very friendly and even checked in on customers, something I rarely see in a fast casual restaurant. There is some seating inside, but most tables are outside. You also get $5 when you sign up for their loyalty program.
google avatar

Chandrika B.

Yelp
Its located between McDonalds and Pressed and has clean indoor and outdoor seating. You go inside and order at counter and then food comes to your table. They dont bring cutlery or napkins with the order and they are not kept openly near the water corner or sauces so you have to go back inside and ask them for it. Deducting a star for that. In $26, we got: - chicken classic quesadilla - 3/5 average with cheddar cheese and plain chicken. Came with cold salsa and sour cream on the side. 4 pieces cut neatly. - chicken shawarma wrap- 1/5 it tasted nothing like chicken shawarma and nothing meditterean. Bland chicken with leavesand tomato with lots of white sauce in the bottom of the wrap. Big portion to fill u up but not tasty.

Teresa C.

Yelp
Great wraps and quick service! We always eat here whenever we go to Stanford Shopping Center. Once you place your order at the self-service kiosk, it's only a matter of minutes (depending how busy they are) before you get your order. The chicken quesadilla and steak quesadilla are the best!
google avatar

Shannon W.

Yelp
Got the poke bowl and the poke quality isn't really on par with other actual dedicated poke shops. Can't customize it and it comes with standard onion crisp, cucumbers and avocado. Is missing seaweed and wasabi and roe that would be otherwise be great with this dish. I also wasn't enthused about the mango tea Boba. The tea flavor was alright, but you can't really customize the sweetness. The Boba itself were not the right texture. Overall, it wasn't bad for lunch but to get really good poke or Boba I would go to other places.
google avatar

Kimberly S.

Yelp
The ambiance is cute but small but there's not a lot of space to eat. Parking is insane bc the restaurant is part of the mall so parking can be challenging. Everything on the menu is so good, but my all time favorite is the Marsala chicken bowl with brown rice with quinoa and veggies. All the flavors are amazing and it's not too dry nor salty. The service is fast and simple. The staff's were great and amazingly knowledgeable. I'll be back for sure
google avatar

Angel L.

Yelp
It's actually quite incredible that they managed to make a Thai peanut sauce taste this mediocre. The rice was a strange mushy texture, and the vegetables were also bland.
google avatar

Jim P.

Yelp
My second time 'trying' World Wrapps right by my work. The first time I got the Tikka Masala wrap and fries. It was ok-ish, the flavor was definitely not traditional Tikka Masala, fries were undercooked and soft, but it didn't suck. Now we come to my second time. I decided to get something I love....Chicken Shawarma! So I'm on my lunch break and I go get the Shawarma wrap. It's heavy, has to weigh 2 plus pounds easy. I get back to work and try a couple of bites. It's an oversauced wet mess that tastes nothing like Shawarma. So I wander back over, lunch is now shot, to get my refund. I paid with a debt card, they have my money, now my refund has to be approved by corporate?!? WTH? As they took my 2 pounds of nasty food back I was offered a VIP card, I declined. Not sure what kind of weird fusion stuff this is, but it left me disappointed as hell. The hapless staff are a bunch of nice kids, prolly the only upside. If you like Tikka Masala, or Shawarma it ain't being made here.
google avatar

Kristine N.

Yelp
We ordered the ahi tuna nori wrap, chicken shawarma wrap, chicken tex mex quesadilla + the mango juice and pineapple mint agua fresca for drinks. The food came out super fast and the portions were huge. The spicy ahi tuna wrap was good. The tuna tasted fresh and is a great option if you're looking for a light lunch. It comes with a wasabi aioli inside and wow it is spicy. You can turn any of the wrap into a bowl which we think would've been better for the chicken shawarma wrap. It was heavily packed with greens and is better suited as a salad. Our favorite was the chicken tex mex quesadilla. We were expecting those thin quesadillas you usually get at a fast food place but this was loaded. Great flavor and really enjoyed it overall. The drinks were ok. They offer boba as a topping but they ran out this day. The mango juice was nothing out of the ordinary, tasting like typical mango green tea you'd find at a boba shop. The pineapple mint fresca was very refreshing and had a unique, herby taste, although it was a bit strong for my liking. Overall, pretty good option if you're visiting the stanford shopping center.
google avatar

Yelp
So fresh, so clean and I love the flavors. The new Bangin' Buffalo salad is my new favorite. A perfect lunch that fills me up without making me feel full.
google avatar

Mar B.

Yelp
This is our usual spot and we love it here! I can't believe I haven't left a review for our favorite place. I discovered World Wrapps from a catered meeting at work. We also have our usual order Chicken Tikka Masala bowl and the Salmon Argentina Chimichurri bowl. Ingredients also fresh, flavorful, satisfying and customizable. The salmon is always cooked perfectly. The chicken and beef also excellent. They have flavor profile dishes to suit everyone. Also the staff here are super friendly and helpful with the menu and I often see them helping customers with the kiosk ordering. Weekend staff are great, like Gio and the young girl who always asks if you need any help. And the weekday staff are equally friendly. I like the kiosk order system but I wish that we could redeem our rewards cause as it is you can only use rewards with online ordering (but that's ok it doesn't stop us from frequenting this place). Another great reason we come here is the outdoor seating as we love dining outside to enjoy the weather. Try this place, great fast casual spot and if you're in a hurry order online to go - you won't be disappointed

Joshua A.

Yelp
World Wrap is one of my favorite spots! The food here is always fresh, flavorful, and made with care -- you can tell they really put effort into every dish. There's a great variety on the menu, and everything I've tried so far has been delicious. The employees are genuinely kind and go out of their way to help you. They're quick, friendly, and you can tell they take pride in their service. It's the kind of place that makes you want to keep coming back Overall, awesome food, great energy, and amazing staff. Definitely one of the best places around!
google avatar

Rachel R.

Yelp
I love coming to this location! The kiosk makes it easy to order. The food is delicious, the service is top tier - everyone is so nice! (Shout out to Gio!) and that playlist - whoever is in charge of the music - Great music choices! Recommendations: -Gaucho Steak (Global Quesadillas) -Argentina Chimichurri Steak and Salmon (Surf and Turf) in a bowl -(World Fries) Garlic Spice with Chimichurri sauce Also really like that you can get the sauces on the side :)
google avatar

Suzanne P.

Yelp
The teriyaki chicken wrap was delicious and the fries had the right amount of garlic for my taste... Giovani was amazingly helpful!!! You need to open one in Pismo beach
google avatar

Eamon B.

Yelp
Amazing food, even better atmosphere, the man Giovani gave such great service and made sure I had everything I needed to enjoy my lunch. Def coming back

Alexandra L.

Yelp
Ordered a chicken cesear wrap and they gave no zero chicken!! First time here and got dwind

Yelp
I always walked past this place in favor of the more exciting spots nearby, but finally gave it a shot and really enjoyed the food. Nothing crazy - just good, healthy, and filling food. Nice and quick service.

Krexus S.

Yelp
My wife and I had a wonderful lunch at World Wrapps at Stanford Shopping Center. The menu has changed since we last ate there several months ago. I had the Salmon Argentina Chimichurri, while my wife had the Steak Argentina Chimichurri. We sat outside and the staff brought us our order, they were nice and always with a smile. It was really nice eating outside, only wish they had some ice cream like they had in the past.
google avatar

Zubair L.

Yelp
The bulgogi beef and shrimp with kale, mushrooms, and sweet potatoes had a perfect balance of flavors. Probably the best bowl from a restaurant that I've had. The beef was tender and sweet, the shrimp added a nice, fresh bite, and the sweet potatoes brought just the right amount of sweetness. The kale stayed crisp, and the mushrooms soaked up all the savory juices. It's hearty, flavorful, and feels healthy without sacrificing taste !

Nori S.

Yelp
I've been a World Wrapps fan since the first Palo Alto location. Delicious combinations and fresh ingredients. The cash register woman today went above and beyond to help us get our food home with ice and getting creative with ways to keep our food from spoiling with our long ride home. Highly recommend any World Wrapp.

Marcia S.

Yelp
The Thai Chicken Wrap was wonderful (perfectly spiced, plentiful and very fresh) and the food was matched by the kind and gracious service I received on Saturday afternoon, June 21. I had some trouble ordering/paying on the screen and the all of the staff behind the counter were patient and helpful. They never made me feel "tech deficient". The whole crew on Saturday was hard working, welcoming and very professional. I felt blessed.

Victoria M.

Yelp
Spicy tuna wrap, quesadilla are my favorites. So yummy and always ready on time. Pick up spot is right infront of the restaurant.

Nirmit S.

Yelp
I ordered the Tikka Bowl and Classic Fries, everything was super fresh and full of flavor. The portion sizes were amazing, the fries were crispy, and not greasy. 10/10 on the quality!

Ashli G.

Yelp
Food always fresh. Staff is always so friendly! Very fast service and the restaurant is always clean!

Yelp
Good lunch spot at the Stanford Mall. I ordered the Argentina chimichurri beef and salmon bowl. I couldn't taste the chimichurri flavor on the beef off the salmon, so I had to ask for some extra on the side to put on myself. The proteins were cooked well and I ended up enjoyed it after asking for that. The paella wrap was pretty good - it includes shrimp and chicken. It was a bit hard to eat, though, since the paper stuck to the tortilla which was a bit soggy. Something we didn't notice until we had ordered is that there's a 10% off discount for students, so make sure to look out for that! Overall the food was delicious, but the prices were a bit much, especially for the bowls where the base is just rice and salad.
