Wormwood Review - North Park - San Diego - The Infatuation
"Wormwood is basically a woodland nymph fantasy where you can have a nicer meal without the stuffiness of a fine dining restaurant. Snag a reservation for the secret garden-esque outdoor patio in the back—it’s got tall shrubs, succulents bursting out of hanging planters, and an old piano in one corner. This is where you should eat French bistro dishes with Latin American twists, like oysters topped with a mezcal-infused mignonette and wagyu tartare flavored with guajillo chili. They have an extensive absinthe menu, and those curious about the anise-flavored spirit should get the tart, pineapple-spiked Ab-Solo Normal. Even though it’s one of the pricier places in the neighborhood, you’ll still see locals sporting half-zip sweatshirts and Birkenstocks." - Ligaya Malones
If I could leave zero stars I would. Stopped in and the place is now Paper Moon Studios and it was closed. Very disappointed. Wormwood's web site said they were open. This was on a Saturday at 12:45. Someone needs to update your information.
**** It took the proprietor a month to reply to my review so obviously this business is not high on his list of priorities. And in retrospect, I do see that it says text/call for appointment but it is misleading. One assumes the business is open and that by appointment only is for private readings since the website says they are open, not that they are renting space in another shop. Change your hours to "BY APPOINTMENT ONLY" and you'll have fewer disappointed possible customers. I notice many people from out of town are interested in visiting but your poor communication skills cause them frustration. You could expand your customer base by making your website clearer. Just sound business advice. Customers are willing to travel for services that are not widely available but a bad reputation will follow you if you're not reliable.

Make sure you call ahead, we didn't and couldn't figure out where the shop was. If you look on the Facebook you will see them say that but we didn't think to check before we drive. We hope to try again soon because this place looks super cool!

The only place I've seen where you can buy actually Human Blood Ink, Some of the most powerful Occult supplies are hidden in this tiny shanty Shop! A+++ 100% recommendation.

The real deal! And very nice people.
Most stores like this are more like hippy/New-Age stores, but this is more the kind of shop that sells DIY Goetic books where every sigil is literally traced with human blood. You can buy that here. Or a goat skull, human bones, authentic Richard Ramirez letter, etc.

An amazing shop for literally anything you might need to work your magic. 🖤 powders, crystals, bones, tarot, runes, etc. What they do here is an art and it’s ran by one of the best witches and an ordained minister.

Tried coming to this place 2 months in a row. Drove 4 hours each way each time. The owner is rude and though he has hours posted, he won't be open...and likes to make threats over text as well.

Honestly the first service I attended was a spiritual experience that I craved more of. It was exactly what I have been looking for! Highly recommend!
