Google
Great Farmers Market - The Amish Farmers have the best produce. Cash is still king - not all will take credit cards. We will be back in a coming Saturday. P.S. go early for good parking.

Gabriel Zeballos Castellon

Google
The largest and most popular farmer's market in the Columbus area. People here is friendly and kind. Lots of puppies love to come because they get pet all the time. The stands are amazing and the vendors offer natural and organic products from local production. This is a great place to bring your kids, your girlfriend, or to come with friends.

Google
This has to be the biggest farmers market in the Columbus area. I grabbed so many interesting things! Fresh pawpaws, bread, chocolate, plums, mushrooms!

Google
It’s like disney for crunchy people

Google
Wagu beef bacon from North Country Charcuterie, fresh eggs, Veggies even the pickiest eater can't deny, and a Paloma from The Whitney House makes for a perfect Saturday morning! Best farmer's market in the State.

Google
We are new to the Columbus area. My wife had been hoping to go to the farmers market here for almost a year. We went this past Saturday. The market had an amazing variety of products meat, cheese, bread, mushrooms, salsa, local honey, apple cider and so much more. This time of year the market is indoors. We will be back.

Google
The size is great, the options are decent, but the prices are outrageous, in comparison to the farmers markets we used to go to in Oregon, Pennsylvania, Texas, and NYC. I do recommend the hot sauce stand. The sauces are great and worth the money. The produce does look good but I just can't spend over $7 on one bunch of asparagus or $3 on an apple . I'm guessing it costs vendors a lot for a booth and that is why they charge so much so maybe be more affordable to vendors? I mean, they are bringing extra business to Worthington. I'm sure many of the people grab coffee at Kitties, eat at one of the many good restaurants, or stop in at one of the boutiques.

Google
Best farmers’ market in CBUS! Comfortable layout and pleasant environment; the perfect arrangement to stroll the wide variety of goods offered. Arrive early! Great Summertime Saturday morning ritual.

Yelp
Glad this event was held indoors due to the rain but don't let that fool you, the crowd came out today to enjoy this event. Every one was in a buying mood. Candy from the Buckeye lady was off the charts since it was my first time trying the famous candy. I think I'm in love. The Italian cookie (more like a cake) was delicious. Raspberry and strawberry I can't decide. I'll take both thank you. Walked away with a bag of apples, spinach and cheese bread, popcorn weeds and cross sweet buns. I was told this event will be held outside once the weather gets warmer and that it will be much bigger. So do yourself a solid and be sure to keep a watch out for this event.

Yelp
The absolute best farmers around. They have all the best vendors, live music and all the little boutiques are open up and down high street. It does get crowded so get there early!

Yelp
This was my first in door version of the farmers market in Worthington. I was so glad because it was quite chilly outside. There were tons of vendors. Lots of breads and cheeses along with unique items such as coffees and gluten-free vendors. We spent way too much haha but had a great time and went home with veggies, meats, pure honey, flowers, cheeses, breads, jams, so much yummy stuff. Will be back for sure!

Yelp
Excellent variety of vendors: Fish, chicken, pork, beef, veggies, salami, cheese, spices, sauces, honey, baked goods of all kinds, soap, tea, coffee, and more.

Yelp
Time for another Pros and Cons list. Pros: 1. The variety of vendors is terrific. You never know what treasures you will find. 2. The vendors, for the most part, are very friendly and knowledgeable. 3. I find specialty food items here that I have not seen anywhere else (ie mochi donuts, keto specialty baked goods). Cons: 1. SO crowded. It starts at 8 AM and by 8:05 AM it is packed with lines already forming. It really needs a bigger space than the narrow (already crowded) High Street sidewalks. 2. Perhaps because of the crowds mentioned above, shoppers at this market seem to be very aggressive. Calm down people....there is enough artisanal honey for everyone! 3. Very large dogs and strollers everywhere, so if that is not your thing...just a heads up.

Yelp
One of the most robust farmer's markets you'll ever go to! Stalls line both sides of High Street, plus there is a parking lot full of vendors too. If you're looking for local produce, baked goods, homemade beauty items, and more--this is your spot! There is ample free parking in the lot on the west side of High Street which makes this an awesome market!

Yelp
I love the Worthington market for their variety, but the location kind of stresses me out. The vendor stalls line the fairly narrow sidewalks in Old Worthington, and every other person has either a double stroller or a dog, further reducing the available real estate. Parking is also tricky, in that the market stretches down High Street and blocks a lot of the street parking, so you're going to have to troll the residential neighborhoods for street parking. If you're OK with the crowds, there are a great number and variety of vendors from veggies and fresh meats to hot sauce and honey. The selection is great and everybody is friendly, but it's so crowded. I also really like that during the winter months, they move into the Worthington Place shopping center to keep the market going through the year.

Yelp
Great way to support your local farmers and shops. The macarons were to die for and of course the pickles. Can't wait to go later in the season when there's more produce.
google avatar

Yelp
Fabulous farmers market with amazing produce, treats, meat, cheeses, coffee, mushrooms and many more options to choose from plus the local restaurants are open as well for lunch/drinks or both...
google avatar

Yelp
The market has moved several times over the last year. It is now located INSIDE the Worthington Mall. There are a few trucks outside the main entrance on the southside of the mall, however the majority of vendors are inside. That's a big plus during these cold months. (I was told it will later move behind Worthington Industries). There were a good number of vendors adequately distanced. Not overly crowded. Hours listed were from 10a to 12p. As always, the earlier you are there, the greater chance of getting what you want. I was surprised there was no artisan breads available when there. Also, very surprised the LONGEST line was for the Pickle Guy. From the front of his stand, down the hallway. Who would have thought??? Choices available included meats, eggs, vegetables, soaps, pastries, soups, coffees.... just to name a few. No, prices are never cheap at markets, but it great to support local growers & enjoy fresh & tasty ingredients.

Yelp
I love the new location of this outdoor market. The parking is easy and the layout of the market allows lots of different vendors to be in attendance. The organizers have the patrons route through the aisles in one direction to keep everyone socially distanced, which I appreciate. Some of my favorite vendors are the produce and flower tents. I also enjoyed the Mochi donuts, pickles, meats, and baked goods/cheeses. Defintely worth a stop over from wherever you live in Columbus!

Yelp
I look forward to Saturdays because of this market. This is probably one of my favorite parts about being in Columbus. To start, I love that there's free and convenient parking. There are a few different lot options but I usually have good luck at the Griswold Center lot. It's just a short walk then to the first booth. There's such a wide array of options at this market that I know I'll find something new to purchase every time. From meats to kombucha and fresh produce or honey, there's something for everyone. I've had nothing but great experiences with all of the vendors. Now, I'd recommend bringing cash but you don't have to. A lot of the vendors do have card readers but if they don't you can purchase these $5 wooden tokens from the market to use at the booths. To conclude, the Worthington Farmers Market has an all-around great atmosphere. There are musicians playing beautiful music, lots of cheery people, and a wide variety of easily accessible booths. In the summer it's located on a vibrant strip that has a lot of great shops to pop into, as well. My one suggestion - go early. The closer you go to 9 (when it opens), the easier it is to navigate!
google avatar

Yelp
Very fun thing to do in this city! I mostly saw families and elderly folks. I'm sure young adults don't come up here much since it's a little far from campus. Still, they've got a good variety of booths. I walked around the whole place twice and stayed here for an hour and a half. Parking isn't hard to find. Some of the nearby churches let you park in their lot, the Griswell is an option too. If you park a block or two either side of the market you'll have no trouble finding a spot. I came around 9 on a Saturday and it wasn't quite that busy. Lots of people were up and about though. I knew some people tabling and they mentioned that it's best to come here before 10. I would suggest walking around the whole thing first before purchasing anything. My friend got a small zucchini for $1, but realized that you could buy much bigger ones for 75 cents. I didn't buy anything but was tempted to purchase from so many tables. I did get some cold brew from Rumble and it was decent. Not super strong but refreshing on a hot day. Can't wait to come back again!

Yelp
I think the Worthington Farmers Market is the gold standard of farmers markets in Central Ohio! Monica and I have been to the Worthington farmers market a number of times since we began dating over two years ago. Parking isn't the best, unless you get there right when the farmers market opens and then there are multiple spots on the surrounding streets. We have parked a few different places and it's normally a good five minute walk to the Market. We really like going in late July/ early August just about when the produce that we love is really at the peak season including gigantic cantaloupes, fresh tomatoes, broccolini etc.. There are a number of different vendors at the Worthington Farmers Market which range from selling breads, mushrooms, honey, dessert, free range chicken, grass fed beef etc.. While some vendors take card, we have ran into a few that do not and the suggestion from the vendor is to talk to the information booth. My suggestion if going to the Farmers Market- Get there early to get the produce/items needed and then walk around and grab brunch at a few of the local restaurants in Worthington.

Yelp
The Worthington Farmers Market stayed outside in its familiar outdoor space along High Street through the end of December 2021 and will be reopening in February 2022 in an indoor location to be announced later. Despite the chill, there was a great number of vendors out, in addition to the information booth, staffed by friendly and helpful folks who were also offering free candy canes. There were so many tasty options to peruse: produce, meat, baked goods, candies, maple products, and more, and we had the opportunity to chat with a variety of friendly folks and learn more about their products. On our most recent visit we ended up finding some great items from Wootown Bagels, cookies from Dana Lee's Bakery & Catery, brittle from Sweet Liberty Candy Company, maple sugar and maple sugar candy from Pleiades Maple Products, Owl Creek Bison, and La Dolce 'Nola. Everything has been wonderful and much enjoyed. We'll certainly be back again!

Yelp
Worthington Farmers Market is a charming Saturday morning spot for produce and local honey. I also observed meats and cheeses as well as homemade soaps.

Yelp
just a note to welcome back to Olde Worthington: 1. the local independent farmers whose hard work and long hours grow our fruit & veggies, cheeses, greens, flowers and raise the cows, pigs, chickens. and bring us honey. 2. the bakers of the wonderful breads, bagels, pastries, cakes, and pies. 3. the jam, candy, mushrooms, coffee, tea, soap. you make us happy and healthy. thank you.

Yelp
The wife and I were hoping to find a farmers market in Dayton that came to close to the farmers markets we used to frequent in the DC-area. However, the Dayton metro area was sorely lacking in anything that I'd describe as a true farmers market. After a little research, we ventured to Columbus for the Worthington Farmers Market. While traffic around the market seemed a bit congested, there was plenty of convenient free parking available on the days/times that we went. While it certainly wasn't the biggest farmers market we'd ever been nor was the selection and variety of vendors necessarily the best we'd ever seen, Worthington Farmers Market was exactly what we were looking for. Located on a quaint, tree-lined section of High St., the market offered plenty of vendors offering a wide selection of fruits, vegetables, baked goods, meats, and other delectable goodies. Heirloom tomatoes? Check. Strawberries that smelled so good, it was impossible to resist buying some? Check. It spoke volumes about the reputation and quality of the goods being sold by several of the vendors when we saw long lines queued up to make purchases. Branstool Orchards immediately comes to mind. To sum it up, we came, we saw, and we went home with bags full of goodies. Worthington Farmers Market, from what we've found (so far) in Ohio, is the best in breed.

Yelp
Hands down the best farmers market in Central Ohio! Great quality and selection- year round. Vendors are friendly and reliable. Both the summer and winter markets are filled with freshly baked breads and sweets, veggies and fruits, honey, maple syrup, locally and sustainably raised meat. My favorite vendors are Tilley Farmstead, Batter and Bowl, Patisserie Lallier, Lucky Cat Bakery, and Rainbow Bee. Occasionally new vendors pop up and it's always fun to try something new.

Yelp
I love going to the Worthington Farmer's Market. It's something I look forward to every weekend. Blue Jacket Dairy is one of my favorite vendors. They offer samples of all the different cheeses and the employees are very nice. Every weekend, I ask myself "do I REALLY need more goat cheese or feta?" The answer is always yes. I love the variety of products at different vendors - gluten free baked goods, cold pressed juice, produce, cheese, bread, soap, honey, lip balm, meat... the list goes on and on. I've gotten into a bad (good?) habit of stopping at Sassafras Bakery while strolling through the market. I usually pick up a piece of pie or cookie for later in the day. There's also multiple restaurants that open on Saturday morning so you can do a little shopping before/after breakfast. I will keep coming back because I love the variety and quality products at this market.

Yelp
I love the Worthington Farmer's Market. Now that I live in the city, it's easy to appreciate fresh produce a whole lot more. Just a few years ago I worked on a farm, so I took everything for granted, but once you're without it for awhile, you realize how much better everything tastes, even if it means paying slightly more. Having worked on a farm that provided for several different farmer's markets, the prices here seem pretty standard to me, but I've seen a few others complaining about it. And produce is only part of it, because the Worthington Farmer's market offers all kinds of goods from cheese to meats to flowers to organic juices! The vendors come from all over Ohio, and they're there every Saturday morning! As a kid growing up in Worthington, I vaguely remember being dragged to the market here once or twice, but it's definitely much easier to appreciate as an adult. My suggestion is leaving any kids that can take care of themselves at home, unless they're really into farm goods. I'm just speaking out of experience. Right now is apple season, and the options are plentiful, and there really is no comparison for the apples I got this past Saturday to the apples I bought from Market District earlier in the week. I always end up leaving here with way too many, but they're gone quick. There's also quite a few things to eat here from breakfast burritos and sandwiches from Cluck Wagon to fresh lobster rolls from Rivage Atlantique. Not to mention there's samples galore. If you haven't made it to downtown Worthington on a Saturday morning, then you're really missing out. In my opinion, it's the best market in central Ohio, and the food is fantastic. I can guarantee you won't leave empty handed.

Yelp
Cheese curds, salsas, charcuterie, fresh produce, cage-free eggs, dan the baker, pickles..... is there really anything not to love about this farm market? Winter is inside the shops of Worthington and Spring is on N High in the downtown Worthington area. It's friendly and local goodness. You will leave smiling and full!
google avatar

Yelp
Beginning once again today (05/10/08) the Worthington Farmer's Market still shines. While much of Columbus sleeps, those lucky enough to visit this gem get their pick of fresh morels, organic chicken and beef, beautiful fruits and veggies, plants and flowers, raw honey and maple syrup, and fresh baked goods that you just don't find at the local grocer.....even if that grocer is Whole Foods. On top of all that, the prices are a bargain. While the selection varies with season, I've been lucky enough to get a pint of morels for $10 in early May and nearly 40lbs of butternut squash for $4 in mid-September. If the unique items and friendly faces aren't enough to grab you, perhaps the wonderful small-town atmosphere, coffee shoppes, and historic buildings will. A great experience with lots of great people and even better products. Like the Worthington Inn, the Worthington Farmers Market is an oft overlooked gem in central Ohio.

Yelp
What a great farmers market! A lot of great vendors selling the freshest produce. I like the idea that you are buying locally to help someone's business. I also like the idea of sampling the products before buying them. It helped me tremendously to sample the breads and cheeses when I was stuck trying to figure out what to bring to a party. It ended up being a huge hit at the party too! I can't wait to go back on Saturday!!
google avatar

Nijole T.

Yelp
Finally I made it out here, after hearing it was the best I had been wanting to make it here since it opened this summer. I'd have to say its my second favorite one in Columbus (though I still haven't been to all yet) The clintonville one is bigger and has a nicer set up. This one can get really full and it set up along both sides of high street which are very narrow. Still its a huge selection of anything you could need from fruit, veggies, baked goods etc. Also the prices were very steep, though I did nab some goodies and loved the variety, I think I'll stick to downtown where there are more local vendors, more samples and I think a bit fairer prices.
google avatar

Randy S.

Yelp
Come armed with cash, that's all I have to say. This place is the farmers market of farmers markets. Even late in the season (Sept. 27) there was a plethora of rad goods for sale. There are samples galore and even street performers. Here's a rundown of some of my highlights: -Locally grown veggies and fruits were abundant. -Homemade jams. Mmm, strawberry-rhubarb. -Candy covered pretzels -- they don't sound like much, but they are rad. -Blue Jacket Dairy's cheeses, especially the quark and grilling cheese. -The array of stands selling farm-fresh meats. I've not seen that sort of selection at any other farmers market. I love this place. It runs from 9 a.m. to noon, May through October. Check it out. I wanted to give this amazing farmers market five stars. I just couldn't bring myself to do it with the horrible parking/traffic situation. I arrived toward the end of the morning and still searched for a spot for quite a while. Having been to several busy local markets, I've never experienced that kind of parking hassle. They folks running the show might not be able to help it, but it's still a pain.
google avatar

Jennifer M.

Yelp
Love this market! I so wish we had a better farmers market in Grandview, but I enjoy coming up here on Saturday mornings in the summer. I have not yet made it to the indoor market that goes on in the winter- I will try to make it this year! There is such a variety of products to look at here, which you don't often see at farmers markets. They have meat, veggies, bakeries, flowers, bath products and so much more! Once you've made it through the stands there are lots of places to have lunch or brunch as well. IMO this is the best farmers market that Columbus has to offer. Great job Worthington!
google avatar

Gwen W.

Yelp
Definitely several pluses! Apparently, this market is central Ohio's biggest farmers market. The one thing that stood out to me was the large number of meat/poultry/sausage stands. Veggie plants, flower stands, lots of baked goods, soaps! These vender stalls line high street, just south of the 161 intersection. Lots of people walking around. A free yoga class offered every Saturday over the summer months. Musicians busking. An all-round great Saturday morning atmosphere.
google avatar

Christina P.

Yelp
The Worthington Farmers Market is my favorite farmers market in the Columbus area, which is saying a lot as there are a bunch of great markets. I love how the market is year round and moves indoors in the winter. The vendors are all very friendly and helpful. I enjoy starting my weekends off with a trip to the market; it always starts my weekend off right!

Dara T.

Yelp
There are some great vendors there. "Crum" strawberries (west side, middle of block) are the best you could ever taste. Rhodes (SE corner of High) carries fabulous orange and yellow watermelon in fall. I bought fabulous hostas at reasonable price from a vendor on west side of the southern block. Good maple vendors beside the ice cream store. Now there is a lavendar farm near the ice cream with fabulous products.
google avatar

Carolyn K.

Yelp
This is my favorite farmers market by far. And not only because I live right up the street. The array of fresh local produce, meats, cheeses, flowers, candles, baked delectables and crafty goodness is simply astounding. This is not your everyday fruits n veggies kind of market. Every type of product you can think of has been represented at this market by local businesses all over the state. I also thoroughly enjoy the atmosphere. It feels like a massive block party or street festival every Saturday morning. Families, couples, pets - all are welcome to frolic, sample and shop. And, most every weekend, they have some sort of live music, even if it's a single street performer strumming the guitar and trying to start a sing-along. The Worthington Farmers Market is the only reason I get up before 11am on summer weekends. Hail to the return of farmers market season!
google avatar

Sara C.

Yelp
I haven't been to too many of the farmers' markets yet, but this seems to be the biggest and best of them so far. The growing season is starting off pretttttty slow this year due to the crazy weather (climate change, anyone?), but I've found a few bargains even so. I picked up a nice flank steak for $8/lb, kale for $1.25 a bunch, a couple of plants for $2 each. Last year, I remember getting peppers for 50c a piece, fresh corn 4/$1, green onions, carrots, etc etc. Bring cash and lots of reusable bags. Be prepared to navigate crowds, have your toes run over by parents dragging their kids in wagons or pushing strollers, carry your plants and eggs close to you, and don't step on the puppies. The parking lots get full pretty early on, so it's worth it to avoid the pedestrians and crazy drivers altogether; park a little further away on one of the side streets and walk in.
google avatar

Teri D.

Yelp
I wish I could justify giving it higher than this, but I just cannot do it. The vendors are plentiful and there is a lot that is just the same - I mean tomatoes are tomatoes and sunflowers are sunflowers. Where it really varies is in the pricing (go further down High St. or on the parking lot there and you may find better bargains) and oh my some of the combos of sausages and cheeses they have, and that maple BBQ sauce was yum! We did buy some of the tastiest Italian spicy chicken sausage I have ever had and some very good cheese; some incredibly fragrant basil and sunflowers in a color variety I've never seen before. You have to get there ASAP in order to get some things that tend to sell out quickly and to get the good samples before they get picked over. So here is the reason it is only a 3....too freaking crowded! You are practically standing on top of one another in a lot of the market area. I'm not against strollers and puppy dogs, but add that into the mix along with the people trying to enjoy their food at some of the restaurants patio dining and it is organized chaos! And of course the parking situation. Don't try to park close; park a bit away and walk. Would love the heck out of it if it weren't so densely packed.
google avatar

Valerie C.

Yelp
The farmer's market has a lot to offer. It's a great place to just walk around and enjoy the weather during outdoor season. There are tons of baked goods in addition to all the great produce available!
google avatar

Debbie K.

Yelp
Best way to spend a Saturday morning. Come hungry bc there are tons of samples. We love supporting small, local businesses and this market is overwhelmingly full of them. Live entertainment, food, cute doggies = the perfect family friendly event!
google avatar

Heather N.

Yelp
The outdoor Worthington Farmer's market has opened for the season Yay! I try to visit this market twice a month during the summer months for local fresh produce. With over 70 vendors this is a very large market with everything from fruits and vegetables, to honey, flowers, plants, meats, cheeses, and fresh bake goods. Defiantly had something for everyone. So why the four stars? This market gets extremely busy. With sidewalks jammed packed full of people, patrons eating at patio restaurants, not I mention the strollers! It is just not enough room to navigate comfortably. The parking is also difficult. I recommend arriving early before it gets too crowded.
google avatar

Zack R.

Yelp
I've been going to farmer's markets for a long time, in many different cities, and have many friends that work very hard year round at them. One thing I've noticed over the past few years is how quality products for fair prices has started to become a thing of the past, especially in affluent neighborhoods. The Worthington Farmers Market is the epitome of this movement towards elitist pricing. From $19 steaks, to $12 six inch pies, this place has price gouging written all over it. Again, I'll pay a premium for organic, free range, happy cow, made-by-hand farmers market goods. I will not pay Worthington prices though.
google avatar

Susie R.

Yelp
Ehhhh? I'm giving them four stars to give them the benefit of the doubt, but I was not totally blown away by Worthington Farmers Market. If I go back later in the season, I may reevaluate. First things first: some enterprising person needs to set up a booth near the beginning that sells cold drinks. By the time I walked like a mile from where I had to park, I could have used it. I made a beeline for strawberries first thing. Bought an expensive quart and they were not very good. I know this isn't the market's fault, it's the vendor's--but it is kind of indicative of how I feel about farmers markets these days. It's not so much about going to find really fresh stuff, it's about cramming in a bunch of people who will sell as much stuff to you as possible. The strawberries were bitter-sour to the point that I couldn't even continue eat them (I tested several, then gave up). I don't feel that they should have been for sale, yet there was the vendor who surely must have taste-tested them, selling them anyway. Bought bread, decent tomatoes. It may be because the weather was so screwed up this year, but they were light on actual farm products (besides meat--saw several meat vendors, almost no produce). Hence giving the market the benefit of the doubt. Worth noting: If you, like me, feel tiny stabbing pulses of rage when people stop in the middle of the only available walkway to gawk, probably you should avoid this farmers market. If I do come again, I will come earlier when (hopefully) it will be less busy. So I guess, maybe I just don't like farmers markets that much. I theoretically want go to farmers markets to buy good-quality stuff directly from actual farmers. Between the markets becoming more and more like street fairs with many vendors selling things I can buy any day of the week in a store (or even online!) and the push to sell so much that they're not always selling me fresh things, I might have to give up on the whole idea.
google avatar

Matt W.

Yelp
It's market season again! And the outdoor market in Worthington is just about the best in the city. (It's a close race between them and Clintonville, for my money.) With a huge stretch of High Street between 161 and Old Worthington devoted to the market, vendors take advantage of the space to provide fresh fruit and veggies, locally grown beef, pork, chicken, and lamb, baked goods, and lots of neat home produced products. During the summer, starting my Saturday mornings here is an absolute part of my routine, and though you can spend a lot of money very easily if you're not careful, it's also easy to get some great bargains if you're willing to walk around and compare prices between the various stands. The only thing I've noticed this year is that some of the more popular vendors (Speckled Hen, Up The Lane, Van Scoy farms) are selling out VERY quickly. You can get a lot of the same things they offer from other vendors, but if you've got something in particular in mind from them, I'd go early to make sure you can find what you want.

Yelp
Maybe I'm crazy, but I didn't have the awesomest experience at the Farmers Market. I went for the first time this past Saturday. Maybe it was the hype of this being THE farmers market in the area. Maybe it was the 90+ degree heat plus ungodly humidity. Maybe it was because I just didn't get my butt there until 11am. Maybe it was the mass amount of strollers (like another poster said) blocking a lot of the sidewalks. Maybe because i paid 2 BUCKS for a lemonade at a lemonade stand. 2 bucks! Really?!?!? I'm not that old, but I guess with inflation, and the fact the lemonade was "fresh squeezed", $2 isn't uncalled for....but still. I'm giving it 4-stars for potential. I think my problem was that I felt really lost as a newbie attendee. By the time I did my first walk around through the crowds to get the lay of the land, see what is available, and price compare, things were selling out. Which again, as I get more familiar with the sellers, and go earlier, I can avoid this feeling. That said, I got some awesome deals: 3.75/pound grass fed organic ground beef, 2 for 1 buck cucumbers, corn, and a A-Mazing Tomato for my weekend grilling, and some to-die-for cheeses. I brought $30 in cash, and by the end, i was scrounging through my change to see what else I could buy. As for parking, i parked on a side street just north of 161 - it was pretty easy, and I avoided having to drive through Olde Worthington. In summary: Ill try again...when its cooler. At 9am. And I will hit up the parking lot first, where I saw the most sold out stands.

Yelp
Ive lived in Columbus for 10 years and just discovered this place about 6 weeks ago. Some of my favorite vendors are oinkmoocluck, ebans gluten free bakery, krazy kraut and Rhodes farm( excellent corn) Worthington Farmers Market is Central Ohio's largest farmers market there are over 70 vendors. The market includes locally grown seasonal fruits and vegetables, locally produced cheeses, jams, jellies, honey and maple syrup, high quality cuts of meat from carefully raised farm animals, eggs from pastured chickens, flowers, herbs, plants, homemade soaps. The summer market runs every Saturday from May thru October from 8am-12pm and is followed by our indoor winter market( Worthington mall), which runs Saturdays from November thru April from 9am-12pm

Yelp
LOVE love love the Worthington market. I wish my hubby had off on Sat's so we could go more. Some things are more expensive then in the grocery store but tastes much better being home grown and organic. Most things I've found end up being cheaper here then at the store and much fresher. Green onions $1.50/$2 for a bunch, kale 2;b for $2, huge 12" zuchini 2 for $1, pies for $12, etc I understand that some vendors open even earlier and often sell out before the market even opens; like strawberries in the summer. My favorite thing this past summer were the peaches and blackberries. $5 for a bunch and by far the best Ive ever had. Some take cards, but mostly cash. There's a US bank next to the Cluck Wagon & Graeter's. Parking is usually tight. There's a lot up high street that always has spots. !!They can always use some volunteers. Stop by the tent to learn more!!

Yelp
I would like to add that everyone should stop by to visit Batter and Bowl after they've stocked up on veggies and meats. Delicious brownies, cookies, scones, protein bars, and more (my favorite are her lemon bars) await your taste buds. All homemade from scratch with quality ingredients. Also, there isn't much space to walk on the sidewalk as it is so please please leave your strollers at home, especially your double wides. I can no longer count the number of times I've been run into or got stuck in a bottle neck because of strollers....and 9 times out of 10 the kid isn't even riding in the stroller. Sorry for the mini rant but had to get that out there.

Yelp
While visiting from New Mexico, I was delighted to find a local Farmers Market. There so many booths with wonderful items. From the handmade hogwash soap, to the maple syrup, I absolutely loved it all. Parking in the area was easy to find, and the walk through the neighborhood was peaceful.

Yelp
Went to the indoor farmers market and was impressed. There was an array of vendors selling everything from baked goods to meat. Great atmosphere. Can't wait to check it out when it moves outdoors.

Yelp
I think Worthington has the best farmer's market in the Columbus area. First off, they are year-round and move into the Shops at Worthington Place in the winter. Opening weekend was May 6th outside and it was chilly but a great day! Parking is always a challenge, we prefer to get there early and park on a back road. Bring a reusable bag and shop away! All sorts of vendors and the produce selection increases throughout the summer. We noticed more sponsors and non-vendors this year but they were further North so we could avoid them. Our favorite stops are the Cluck Wagon for breakfast, Silver Bridge Coffee, and a farmer that I don't remember their name... known for their 50-cent zucchinis! Dos Hermanos was selling frozen tamales that were a glorious lunch after steaming them to heat them up. This market and the shops on High St. are a perfect Saturday morning for food, fun, and shopping local.

Yelp
We always visit this Farmers Market when we are in Columbus. It is full of options besides the expected fresh fruit & vegetables, which are really fresh & tasty. I found Soap, pickles & chow chow for just $5 a jar, and great local cheese from several vendors, also great coffee. It's Open Sat 8-12noon outside but I was told they move inside next Sat, Nov 4th. Worth the trip.
