Wöschi

"Wöschi is located directly at Wollishofen harbour and boasts a magnificent view of the Zürisee, as the locals call Lake Zurich. You may know head chef David Klocksin from 20/20 by Mövenpick, where he delivered Michelin-starred cuisine. Here, he serves up dishes that are a little lower-key, but still punchy, with an emphasis on vegetables. The three- to five-course surprise menu reflects this with pleasingly pared-down yet full-bodied creations such as baked cauliflower with curry and peanut. However, the more "conventional" options, such as the Valais pike-perch or Zurich beef, are just as delectable. This is a truly stylish restaurant, where charming and attentive service comes courtesy of Stephanie Ospelt and team. Gorgeous terrace overlooking the lake." - Michelin Inspector

Wöschi was a real surprise, I struggle to find top-notch cooking in Switzerland, but Wöschi topped everything. The service was extremely friendly and accommodating. We chose the 5-course menu accompanied by their wine selection and it was a real experience of rethinking dishes in a experimental and unexpected way, flavour combination of local and seasonal food combined with herbs of their garden. It was flavourful and delicious, probably the best food I‘ve ever eaten in Switzerland! Can highly recommend it!

Went for dinner with my good friend. We felt welcome from the beginning when I walked into the Restaurant. We had the 5 course tasting menu with the extra cheese course and the wine pairing. We loved the food and the wine. Perfect match. All the different courses where innovative and perfectly executed. And the staff was so friendly and cheerful. Sommelier definitely knew her wines. Thx for having us!

Truly amazing food paired with amazing service. Each dish had great unique flavors, and the chef really pays attention to detail. Nothing bad to say.

Wöschi, Zürich – 12.06.25 One of my top 5 restaurants in Zürich — hands down. From the first sip of Champagne & Negroni to the final bite of Margadise, this meal was an elegant, joyful rollercoaster of flavour. We started with beautiful amuse-bouches, sourdough with celery root cream cheese (I may have fallen in love), and a ring of pickled veg in beurre blanc that made vegetables feel glamorous. Then came The Aubergine Experience™ — layered textures with black garlic, wild garlic, lemongrass sauce… mamma mia. Poached zander with gnocchi and green pea purée followed — delicate, bright, and comfortingly perfect. Next: breadcrumb-crusted veal (Kalbsrücken), rich beef tartare, polenta, and airy Maisschaum — the chef showing off, and we were here for it. Dessert was a vanilla cream base with rhubarb in all the textures and sweet fennel on top — like spring in a spoon. And just when we thought it was over: Margadise. A schuh pastry with vanilla cream, zesty lemon tartlet, and a dark chocolate truffle. We nearly applauded. ✨Warm service, inspired food, and that rare feeling that everything just works. Highly recommended - 𝑴𝑼𝑺𝑻 𝑽𝑰𝑺𝑰𝑻 restaurant. Special thanks to Miss Sevinnia for painstakingly writing down all the dishes that my partner and I had that night. ❤️

What a flawless dinner experience! You will not be disappointed- Michelin star dinner with excellent delivery yet not arrogant. The food is delicious and precise, creative and bold. All the details are being taken care of, and the staff is wonderful: friendly, genuine and professional. I would want to go again, well done team!

Beautiful airy dining room on the lake. I loved this restaurant before, but the team that took it over in 2022 really brought it to the next level. Very creative, well presented dishes with thoughtful wine pairings. Well worth the trip !

We recently dined at Wöschi and overall had a good experience, though not quite up to Michelin standards. The food and wine pairing were well-executed, but not particularly memorable. One major disappointment was at the beginning of the evening: upon arrival, we were immediately offered a choice between two types of champagne. Given our experience with similar fine-dining restaurants, we assumed this was a complimentary welcome drink – something quite standard in Michelin-starred venues. However, we were later surprised to find that each glass was charged at CHF 25. This was never communicated to us beforehand, and we felt misled. For a restaurant of this caliber, transparency is essential, and this left a sour impression. Service was mixed. One of the servers did an excellent job explaining the dishes and wine pairings in detail, which we appreciated. Unfortunately, another server seemed rushed and barely gave any explanation – simply pouring and moving on. That inconsistency in service definitely detracted from the overall experience. All in all, while Wöschi has some high points, there are some key details that need improvement to truly live up to Michelin expectations.

Yelp
I'm so in love! The divine views across Lake Zurich paired with a crisp chardonnay - all from an über plush armchair -had me swooning over this modern-luxe restaurant. The restaurant is tucked away off Seestrasse on the water behind a bizarre vintage designer clothing outlet (seriously odd - a better selection of 1980's Balenciaga and Givenchy than in 1980....). Impeccable, welcoming service even though I only ordered a glass of wine during dinner hours; the restaurant was empty due to the off season, but I can imagine it's packed in the summer since the glass walls can fully open to the outdoors.
