The good part: the ensemble of buildings is very well rebuilt and restored, it’s really great that it was saved and preserved for visitors. The view is nice and the restaurants seem to have good offers for their guests.
The bad part: tickets for 1 experience/museum cost 20€ per person, 2 experiences cost 34€. The wine used for the very basic wine tasting at the end of the Wine experience was really young and not interesting (cca. 0,05 cl white wine, 0,05 cl red wine, 0,05 cl port wine).
The ugly: The historical experience about the city of Porto is quite superficial and almost doesn’t mention the colonial era of the country. It perpetuates colonial and imperial narratives and does not reflect newer perspectives on this period. The exhibition is very new, so this was disappointing for me. Dear WOW crew, you can do better and show the history of Porto in a more modern and adequate way.
