Detroit style pizza was on point, good toppings and crispy crust, 4/5, would for sure get again. Wings were spectacularly lackluster, especially at $18 for 8 total; cold, rubbery skin (yes, I know they’re ‘smoked’), barely sauced whole wings - which, let’s be honest with ourselves, are a hassle to eat at an establishment like Wild State that isn’t exactly the place you go when you’re in the mood for carnal backyard bbq style eating. I’d say they were marginally better than what you’d get from chain pizza restaurant delivery, and at least with those you’re disappointed with yourself for ordering them before you even eat them.
P.S. - I don’t like publicly lambasting locally owned restaurants that I do think are doing a good job all in all and I understand every place has off days, but the ‘contact us’ page on their website just takes you to a roster of their current staff so here I am.
