Where to Order Christmas Take Out: Everything from pizza to vegan to whole ham - Eater Twin Cities

"The Wrecktangle team is back at it with holiday offerings in pizza form. This time, their pizza party has sides like fluffy mashed potatoes and herbed gravy, brussels sprouts gratin with crispy garlic chili, and a family sized caesar salad. Sip on either the crowler of raspberry lemonade jinx tea or Earl Giles ginger beer and stuff a slice in your face. Their holiday take-n-bake offerings include a Swedish Meatball pie with mushroom cream sauce and lingonberry relish and their holiday ham comes fully decked with honey glazed ham, green bean casserole, crispy fried onions, and Cry Baby Craig’s, of course." - Alicia Banaszewski

Restaurants Add New Winter Dishes The Long, Cold Season More Bearable - Eater Twin Cities

"Pizza Chili from Wrecktangle Pizza: Home of the incredibly popular Detroit-style pizzas, with that crackling cheese edge crust like some kind of edible lace sent straight from heaven, is digging down deep for its latest addition. Pizza chili is a devil’s cauldron of tomatoes, ancho chiles, sausage, pepperoni, basil, and gooey strands of mozzarella for that chin-spanking goo factor. Served with focaccia for dipping." - Joy Summers

Wrecktangle Pizza @ the Galley Loop. Had the Shredder (honey jalapeño) pizza and a couple of pickle rolls. The Galley Loop is a small food hall, has a full bar, indoor and outdoor seating (outdoor patio is nice in the summer). Service is limited - order via an app for table delivery. They do charge 3% for using a credit card - not visibly displayed until payment. I do like the food hall, however it’s really noisy.

The service was very good! I liked the cheese pizza and the crust. I thought it was expensive. i added 1 extra topping, and it cost 30.00, and I thought it needed more sauce, but that's a personal preference. Lefts were very good it needed that time in the air fryer to get the crust crunchy and the cheese melty.

It’s ok Detroit style pizza. We ordered the one that is similar to the signature colony pizza from Emmy squared. If you like that you’ll like this. The biggest difference is the Romano cheese on top and the peppers don’t pack the same kick. It’s a good pizza if you like Detroit style.

Maybe the best pizza ever! Detroit style - deep dish meat lovers with extra cheese. Pepperoni, sausage, bacon and bacon jam. Wow. It was done perfectly. The only complaint was it came in only one size and I could only eat 3 pieces, which was half. Very similar to a place in Denver we love - Blue Pan Pizza. This was slightly better.

My first Detroit style pizza and simply fantastic, crispy crust, and great ratio between crust and toppings. If you are gluten free then you will love this restaurant! My only suggestion is more specialty pizzas that are gluten free as some sounded amazing! UPDATE: The Earth, Wind, and Fire pizza was good but needs improvement. The Thai basil could stand out more, and the ricotta needed salt. That pizza has serious potential as I loved the concept of what was on it.

Love love love this place! Amazingly good! The garlic cheese bread is the best ever! The pizza’s are soooo good! They did a wonderful job on the gluten free crust! The atmosphere is adorable and we had the best server ever!

This location was in north loop the galley and location was good. They have lot of pizzas on the menu. I felt they could have a paper menu also. It was hard to choose toppings from wall menu everytime😀 I took a build your own and added some new toppings. The pizza smelled really good and tasted ok. The service was good. I felt the price for the pizza is too high though. I felt the cheese was very less and for that price I dint feel the pizza worth it.

We tried the Supreme Pizza and it was absolutely so amazing. The crust is so unique; very thick but insanely fluffy. Favorite part was the extra crispy edges of the pizza. I didn’t give it 5 stars for two reasons. First is the price, it’s quite expensive for the amount/service. Second, it’s a very long wait for the pizza. We were told (after we ordered) that it would be about 20-25 minutes, but it ended up being a 35 minute wait. So keep that in mind, make sure to arrive before you are absolutely famished!
