"Some farm stands really bet it all on the cider doughnuts, but here the focus is more on things like locally-raised pork products, vegetables, and preserves. That said, the cider doughnuts at Wright’s are absolutely worth getting, though you do have to buy them in a pack of six. These are less-sweet, more spice-forward doughnuts, with a generous amount of cinnamon in the sugar coating. Their structural integrity isn’t perfect, but that doesn’t stop them from being delicious. We haven’t been here yet, but want you to know this spot exists." - Team Infatuation

Absolutely recommend! Incredible views from each campsite. Easy to get to and hosts are wonderful. The farm has a cute market with local cheeses, wines, pies and so much more! Campsites felt private and each has great views of the mountains. 10/10 would recommend and can’t wait to come back!

Google
Thank you Wright Farm for an amazing day! We absolutely recommend coming up here for the day and enjoying the apple picking, store and brewery onsite. Everyone we met (owners of the farm) were a pleasure to speak with and such amazing hosts. We will be making this an annual outing.

I've been going to this beautiful, family owned farm every year since 2010. For a great, authentic day of apple picking, which is also dog friendly 🥰🐶, this is the place to go!! Already went 2 weeks ago with my husband's family and will be there again on Sunday! We love Wright's Farm!! 🥰🍎❤️

Second year coming here with my dog Buddy. Last year one of the farmers suggested the apples his wife uses to make the pies since I told him I bake as well as a beautiful lookout to go to on the property. I didn’t see him this year, but got the same empire apples and went to the top of the hill. Whoever that farmer was thank you!

Google
Loved this place !! Been to many farms but never truly enjoyed the experience. Spend the day with family and extended family didn't even cover half the place or activities but the day was well spend and left a lasting impression on everyone that attended will return again and again and I have to see the cherry season !!! Had to edit and add !! Donuts are amazing !! We got plants / pumpkins / ciders / jams I think we pretty much sampled the store. I see someone complain about pricing at first it did look abit high but once you see how much can fit in the bags and how wonderful that place is you get a lot for your buck! We came back enough apples to share with friends family neighbors and still had plenty to eat and make pies. The music was great we heard it as we were leaving and saw the other families dancing it was the best experience ever don't let bad reviews discourage you come see for yourself🍎

Google
Parked our RV for the night. They are a Harvest Host. The store is awesome but you need to stock up before you park the RV or you'll have a long walk back to the store. Disappointing that they didn't have any beer to buy from the brewery.

Google
I came here with my family in September. Aside from being eaten alive by mosquitoes, we had a great time! There's a lot of food choices in the market such as, cider donuts, a variety of pies, jams, teas, alcohol beverages, and many more! They also sell a variety of plants!

Google
Wright’s Farm is our family’s choice for our annual apple picking!! It’s an awesomely large orchard that we can roam for hours if we wanted with a great array of apples to choose from. Unfortunately this year due to the weather there was a bit of a loss in the amount of apples, BUT it didn’t take away from our awesome family day out! 🍎🍏

Yelp
Awesome farm store with a great variety of local produce and meats, locally made beef and wine, as well as flowers and plants for your own garden. This place is also a great spot to go Apple picking in the fall, and a must stop for their Apple cider donuts!

Angela T.

Yelp
Has a great market with hot food options, pricey though in certain areas such as homemade sausage but worth it. Housemade Hot dogs hit the spot. Can't wait to try their pies.

Yelp
Great stop! we came in the morning to stop before heading back to nyc. We got free coffee while shopping and then got some apple cider donuts for breakfast which were fresh out of the oven and sooo good. We picked out so many fresh goodies like vegetables, fruits, meats, cheeses, raviolis, and baked goods. The staff was so friendly! We want to come back and try the fudge eventually, that looked so delicious. Such a cute farm store with great produce and extras!

Rachel S.

Yelp
Those fresh Apple cider donuts that they make are the best I've ever had in my life absolutely delicious

Yelp
Great experience picking apples at Wright's Farm today. First, this place is HUGE ! We were here mid-week during September, we felt like we had the whole orchard to ourselves. But I imagine that even during "Prime Time" apple season on the weekends, there still would be plenty of elbow room for everyone. It's also a gorgeous place -- beautiful scenic views, it was a real treat to just wander around the farm for hours. Nice selection of apples too, my favorite was the Honey Crisp. Back at the Country store, we purchased a blueberry pie, a dozen fresh eggs, tomatoes, and jars of jam and salsa. The owners & staff are very friendly, and we look forward to a return visit to Wright's Farm when we are in the area again. An easy 5 Star review.

Yelp
We drove here from NYC - 3 friends each with a dog of a variety of sizes. We arrived super early and were welcomed by the amazing family that has owned the farm for generations. We got coffee and donuts and used the bathroom and then headed to the orchard. We had the orchard to ourselves for a few hours and our dogs had a blast running around and chasing woodchucks. The owner's son came by and was both helpful and incredibly welcoming. The apples were delicious and the walking trails were beautiful. The advice we followed, to climb every hill, led to us getting the most beautiful scenery and little charming set ups like a garden and a swing. Would recommend to anyone looking for a nice day trip from NYC with your dog. Just be sure to pack water- all that adventuring is thirsty business!

Vicki M.

Yelp
Friendly atmosphere, lots of fruit, veges, cheese, meats, local wine and spirits. Delicious eggs and pies and cider donuts!. Fabulous array of plants. Brewery out back. Live music and food/drink on weekends. Great fun.

Yelp
Favorite pet friendly apple picking farm. Dogs should be on leash but it was large enough without huge crowds for trained dogs to run happily freely. Not crowded and people are friendly. The farm store items itself are quite pricy but that's the cost of business? It's nice they have local cider and craft beer on site.

Ada Y.

Yelp
Wright's Farm, as a family-owned establishment, offers an excellent experience compared to other farms I've visited. I consistently savor their delicious food. What's great is that it's incredibly dog-friendly, with dogs allowed to roam freely. Their farm has abundance of apples for picking, and their on-site store offers a variety of items. I bought some raw honey, and the service was fast, while the atmosphere was peaceful. For apple picking, each person is required to purchase a bagI savored their chili celery soup, mac and cheese, and apple cider donuts. For soup, my favorite was the soup that included kale as an ingredient, but unfortunately, they didn't have it available this time. I have been here for 8 years and it has been consistently a good experience. I highly suggest this farm.

Yelp
This is a great little roadside market and apple orchard. We found it through Harvest Hosts and spent a great night camping on site. It was so nice the next morning to be able to walk down to the market for some fresh coffee and Apple Cider Donuts. The have a great selection of fresh produce and meats available for purchase. We were there just before Halloween so they had lots of pumpkins available too. They had boxes of apple wood for purchase for those of us who like to smoke meat.

Melissa W.

Yelp
Stopped here on our way to Saratoga and so glad we did! Quaint shop with plentiful homegrown and homemade goods such as apples, vegetables and jams. We couldn't resist the cider donuts, which are $1.50 each or 6 for $6.99. They were incredible and some of the best we've had. They also have a massive orchard. Unfortunately we didn't have time to pick apples but there were many trees and varieties. Highly recommend!

Yelp
This year 2023 it has rained every weekend preventing us from going on our weekends off. We ended up going on a shared Tuesday off in October around 1 pm with our two pups. One of the last remaining orchards allowing pets. They have a market in the front with a good selection of pickled, fresh, and freshly processed products. Apple cider donuts, butters, and jams. Staff were helpful. Pointed us in the direction we needed to go. When we parked there was one other couple in the orchard. The orchard itself was vast and had a good selection of apples. It was still early in the season and with the weekends being not busy the trees were full of apples. Some have complained about the price but you're paying for an experience and people need to make their living. Only thing I hope they manage a little better is the grass length in the aisles to pick apples. The grass was a little too high for our liking. We had a wonderful time and will definitely have this farm on our return business list.

Latha P.

Yelp
Perfect little farm store to pick up locally grown Fruits, Veggies , Hand made Pies, Cookies and their delicious Cider Donuts. They also have hot lunch options with Chilli & Soup. You will have to order pick & go as there is no place to sit & eat inside. It's a bit tight inside but well organized . They have a variety of locally made relish , jam & preserves on sale . They do have Cheese & mustard choices which are interesting. We went in October so found loads of pumpkins stacked outside giving it the classic Fall Vibe. A cute little store to stop & shop while driving in that countryside .

Maria S.

Yelp
Top notch produce.. delicious pies. Great local spot for produce. They have a bit of everything.

Yelp
We had an awesome time picking apples at Wright's on a Sunday afternoon! You have to buy bags first from the farm store (everybody needs to buy a bag to enter the orchard). When we went in on a September Sunday afternoon, it was empty and couldn't find any cashiers to buy bags and cider, which was weird... After a bit somebody helped us out and then we drove into the orchard. We were only there for a bit, but a lot of people brought grills and looked set up for a good day there! They do allow puppy dogs in the store and orchard, so bring them along! I was also happy to see they had plenty of honey crisp apples in the pick your own orchard. There were a good amount of people there but the orchard is huge so lots of room to spread out. Get the cider donuts- they were awesome.

Yelp
After countless hours of research, I have finally selected this farm, hoping that I have hit the jackpot amid a long list of apple picking farms. Happy to say, my expectations were well met. How it works: you park by the store front. Go inside and choose and pay for a bag of apples. The required adult medium bag is $12. We purchased two large bags $24 each, because we wanted to go big and bring tons of apples to our families. With the bags and a receipt, return to your car and drive up the hill to present your receipt at the gate to enter the orchard. Park there, walk up, and enjoy the land all to yourself. The first Saturday of October, the orchard was lush with apples. We tasted and picked around five different apple types. The orchards are very spacious and beautiful. Tons of acres for you to roam around and enjoy. Great for photos and picnics. There are even some picnic tables set up for you to enjoy your lunch! Definitely on the bigger orchards that I've ever been too. They also had different fruit there--peaches, pears, and raspberries, so imagine myself returning to taste those when they are in season. The only small grievance I have is that the apple trees were not marked, so we had no clue what apples we were picking. Different apple types were planted intermixed, so there were no rows of distinctive sort of apples. We would've liked to know what sorts we were enjoying. We were the last to leave the orchard, past 6pm, when the sun has begun its descent. The store was still open, so we went inside for some more splurging. Dog friendly farm--tons of pooches running wild in the orchard. The store is huge. We spent over $100 there. Definitely need to exercise some self-control, as everything there looks incredible. Tons of freshly baked goodies, pies, cookies, candy apples, sweets, jams, jellies, and products. Soooo much to choose from--your eyes will start to hurt from that Autumn cornucopia of delicacies. Fresh produce like tomatoes, squash, pumpkins, and cage free eggs are available. Huge selection of jack o lantern pumpkins for $.59 per lb. We got three and they came to $16, which isn't bad. People are buying crazy amount of stuff here, stopping by the store even when the sun has set. The profit from the store is what keeps this farm in business. Get apple cider doughnuts. They aren't cheap, $6 for 6, but worth a try. They bake them every hour, so get a warm batch--the warm doughnut with a hot beverage on a chilly day is an incomparable experience. The apple cider was unbearably sweet for me. We also got the homemade fudge, which looked delectable on display. We got 4 pieces (plus two 'free') for $13. great variety of flavors that you can taste before purchase. However, beware how sweet the fudge is. I am a sugar addict, but that fudge was too sweet even for me. Great flavors and consistency, but way too sweet to enjoy more than a bite per sitting. Would love to return!

Yelp
THis was the worst experience went there in October. There were no apples they took our money we have now been fighting this for months don't understand why the owners just don't refund us our $80 and call it a day. Avoid this place at all costs. there are so many other better places, much more deserving.

Steven K.

Yelp
We were there on October 23rd hoping for a nice few hours picking apples. We were 4 people and paid $40 each for 2 large bags. We drove up the the parking area and walked up to the tree line. No apples within reach, some were at the very top but we were not provided pickers...we walked and walked and could not find apples within reach unless they were rotting on the ground. All understandable I guess. We went back to the farm stand and asked if we can just fill the bags from the pallets of apples they had there...the clerk said she needed to call the owner. Her answer was no, then we asked for our $80 back, NO. Then we asked for a store credit...NO. Then we asked for $40 store credit, NO. We felt totally cheated, spent $80 for 2 empty plastic bags.

Yelp
This farm is so welcoming to all and dogs. They have awesome varieties of apple for you to explore and pick. $20 for adult entry including parking/picnicking/tailgating and a bag that carries 10 lbs apples. Gotta be there early because the donuts are way too popular. There's live music band and a brewery. A great memory for my family. Will try camping there in the future. Love this place!

Christine J.

Yelp
Tourist trap. Locals know better. This place is ridiculously expensive. Very nice and orderly on the inside but there are many other farm markets around that are more affordable. I realize they need to make their money during their busy season but their prices are over the top and keep me from going there. Thankfully we have no shortage of farm markets in the Hudson Valley.

Elisabeth M.

Yelp
Apple cider doughnuts and homemade cookies are a must. The service is friendly and you can see them preparing food fresh in the back. Yum!

Bonnie G.

Yelp
We had such a happy Saturday at this dog-welcoming, stunning farm that is not crowded, overflowing with apples, and has delicious homemade pies, pumpkins and donuts. None of the nuisance, all of the fun. What more could you want? My friends and I packed up the car with our dogs and they pranced across the orchard so happy, eating bites of apple and rolling in the grass. This is the best of the best. Our new tradition. 5 Stars!!!!!!

Linda M.

Yelp
The farm stand is wonderful for Gardiner. There are so many varieties of fruit, flowers, ciders, donuts, pies, jams & home baked goodies. It's always bustling with weekenders that are stopping in to pick up something on their way home. Wright's Farm has earned a wonderful reputation throughout the years.

Stevie K.

Yelp
Wrights is the best farm in the area... why do I say this? During the past Scamdemic we watched location after location close... this place stayed open. The family works there together... the plants are beautiful... the beer garden is great.... this is an American family hustling to make it in the ever angry environment of upstate NY. The entire town should pay for this farm to get a solar panel grid going. I know a lot of these farmers are in crisis due to the price of oil, gas and electric, PS there is some "environmental self proclaimed Gardiner board official" who has not even gone to the local farms and worked out a free way for them to stay in business and get solar on full rebates... It is the least the Democrats up here can do...... it really is a shame. All talk and NO action...... I like all the workers and get my apples here every year.

Debbie W.

Yelp
This business is outrageously over priced for what they offer. Other similar local business have better quality for far better prices.

Yelp
COVID-19 era review: Adorable but closed red barn Gardiner Brewery was our original destination, but we could still buy local wine, beer, and whisky at Wright's Farm Stand. More country store than stand, Wright's is adorable. While we were at it, we couldn't pass up the strawberries and cherries, maple sausage, and a cherry pie (standard and half sizes, yes please...was that a hand-drawn box?). We also let our little one pick a cute, collared jar of jam. There were perennials and fig trees for sale our front, and plenty of firewood bundles for local camping. Walking the orchards was a peaceful ending to our visit. For local goods and Shawangunk scenery, we can't wait to come back. I bet it's gorgeous in autumn...

Yelp
One of the best apple picking farms we've been to! It's HUGE! There are so many apple trees, and just a ton of space for all sorts of activities. We came as a group to celebrate a few of a friend's birthday, and found it really easy to find a picnic spot. There are picnic tables scattered around, but there were also many parties setting up tents, grills, etc. and just having a great time at the farm. There were also many trails you could stroll around and it was just incredibly dog friendly. Our pup was allowed in the store/market and anywhere on the premises. With so much running room we let him off leash and played some fetch while everyone was picnicking (he's very well trained - I do not recommend letting your dog off leash if they do not stay by your side or have good recall). We will definitely come back to this farm! There are so many activities you could do here and make a relaxing day out of it :) It's $15 per person which comes with a bag for apple picking. We thought the apples were okay, they weren't overly sweet but it might have been early in the season

Rowena N.

Yelp
We came here from Baltimore after trekking to New Hampshire to see the last bits of fall falling off trees. Unlike many other places, they allow dogs for free! We opted to go apple picking which was $12 per adult that enters the orchard. They check your car when you enter and leave so don't try no funny business smuggling more apples than your bag can bear. They open till 6pm but last call to buy a ticket to go in is at 4:30pm. Parking lot is to the right when you enter. Plenty of apples left to pick and we got so many! There were plenty of options though we almost missed the empire apples that was located behind the parking lot. Onto the food store... the donuts which were 6 for 5.99 was so good. Get them when they are warm and toasty. The lines were ridiculously long when we went. Be prepared to wait. You can grab food upstairs (chili, hot dogs, pulled pork sandwich, coffee) while you browse. The one con - we asked for an Apple crumb pie ($7) that they just brought out fresh. They put a small label in the box (small piece of paper with the pie ingredients). Outside the box was also colorfully decorated noting Grandmas Apple crumb pie. I literally waited the whole drive (5+hours) until we got home to reheat this baby to eat it (way to go delayed gratification!) BUT to my dismay it was BLUEBERRY pie. Thank god none of us were allergic to blueberries. Wish they would be more careful how they label and put away pies, and sad we won't ever get to try grandmas apple pie. If you like blueberries though (which isn't my favorite fruit), this pie was decent.

Yelp
My family and I decided to go Apple picking on this holiday that we have off. We decided to try this place because of how the weather turn out and we really wanted to just pick apples and not get distracted by all the other festivities that some farms and orchard have. From the reviews we read this turned out to be the perfect place. Yes it was a long ride but to me and the children it was worth it. Coming from The Bronx it was an hour and a 1/2 ride depending on what route you take to drive up here, so maybe about 2hrs. So now let's get to the fun! When you 1st arrive you have to stop at the market. They have load and loads of pumpkins out front, then you get inside and you see apple pies, pumpkin pies, fresh made apple cider donuts,(those were a hit with the fam.), fruits and fruit jams, cookies and honey in jars. I mean this market has a lot to offer. The only reason I didnt go for broke is because they didnt have an atm. I guess that was a blessing in disguise for me. As you walk further into the market you walk up a short flight of stairs, and then they have this food area where you can purchase all types of food to eat and then you walk up to the register in the back and that's when you purchase the bags for Apple picking. In order to get into the orchard you have to drive to it with your car, and everyone with you has to have buy a bag, other wise you wont get in. They do check your receipt going in and they check your car going out making sure that you didn't take any extra apples that your bags cant fill. Once your in the orchard, you park your car and you go in! Apples for days. They have a forest full of apples. You could eat on the spot, (I wouldnt, cause I like to make sure I wash it first), you can bring your own food, your pets, your family, whatever, this was a blissful place to visit. I saw people have picnics, bbqs, I even saw someone bring a tent. I mean I thought I was camping in apple tree heaven. I loved the environment and location here, and so did my children. My husband was happy he got to stay in the car and listen to his music. This place is a hit and very budget freindly. F.Y.I. there is no wi-fi anywhere, so if you want some real quality time without any interruption this is the place to go to. We will make another visit next season. I will make sure I have alot more cash, and maybe bring some more friends along.

Nadine S.

Yelp
We stopped here to look at the plants and pick up a few things from their farmstand. What a great place! They've got walls of homemade jams, preserves, chutneys, etc. I picked up a Cherry Chipotle Jam that I can't wait to try. We got a couple of apple cider donuts - our first of the season - and they were really good. My partner picked up a pretty plant. We'll definitely come back for their fruits and veggies. Tomatoes looked amazing (too bad I already bought some elsewhere - these looked better!).

Neil D.

Yelp
Went for apple picking. Had a great time can't get any fresher than right off the tree. Also had tables and other attractions. A fun few hours.

Sandra Lorena V.

Yelp
Really cute farmer's stand. With homemade pies, delicious cider donuts for $6 half a dozen and even cheese, sausages and pesto. There is a variety in food available too. We saw chicken been grilled outside but not sure it was being sold or for the staff. My disgruntled feelings are towards the apple picking part of the farm because we could not walk - a car was a must. And then the sign even said 'the car could be searched.' Weird. It was a group of us and not everyone wanted to buy a bag of apples because we were there more for the experience. $12 was a dealbreaker when a bag of apples in the store was just $10. I think I'd like this farm more if you just paid for what you picked- instead of being charged for just entering. But it's Fall and this is a fall activity!

Jessalin J.

Yelp
We are OBSESSED with this farm!!! Dog friendly, well organized, great staff. They have return apple pickers (of the 2 and 4 legged variety) for many years to come!

Anna F.

Yelp
We just went to pick up plant starters. Wow, such a selection! From all the herbs, to serrano peppers- great place to go, to select plants for the garden. The farm stand has an impressive selection of local goods too. I got some harney and sons tea, and some beer to try out- the farm has actually been brewing beer for 2 years now. It was quite refreshing, and tasty.

Suzanne H.

Yelp
Wonderful family owned pick your own farm stand and brewery. Delicious fresh fruits, baked goods and prepared food. Local meats. Very pretty orchard!

Paula S.

Yelp
Prices are double what they should be. We bought two bags of apples, a half gallon of cider, a dozen apple cider donuts, a medium sized pumpkin and a pie. The price was $75.00!! Insane!

Tiffany L.

Yelp
Such an amazing place to go apple picking! The farm covers a lot of land and the choices of apples are abundant. It's very a nice family environment with the down-to-earth staff. The staff is friendly and their service is great. They assure you aren't just aimlessly wandering around in the orchard. Staff drive around in golf carts to offer assistance. We were advised where each kind of apple was located, which ones were the best to pick right now, and scenic trails for taking a walk or having a picnic, which was extremely helpful. Also, it's super convenient that they allow dogs! You can't beat the price. $12/adult and $6/child and it comes with a bag you can fill to the top! Also, parking is free. The cider donuts are a MUST TRY. They're amazing; we wish Wright's was closer so we could be locals. Will definitely be back again and recommend to family and friends :)

Muhyell F.

Yelp
Owner's refuse to take responsibility when customers get hurt on their property, followed by their employees lying about having witnessed you injure yourself, despitethem having been staring at you the entire time.. After explaining what happened, they immediately responded with "Well didn't you see it?" - Proceeded to treat her like it was her fault that they left equipment in the walkway in front of her store and tried to tell her she'd be fine and wasn't that hurrt. Had no form of incident reports to fill out, did ask if they wanted to call an EMT, but at that point it seemed like a mockery. Pick literary of the other farm stands on 208 instead and give your money to people who possess common decency.

Nichole R.

Yelp
My annual visit to "Wright's Farm", one of the best farm I visited over the passed few years. Take a moment from your daily routine and exhale. It's not how we live, its how we live our life's . A moment with nature give us a sense of peace. A day on the farm will do just that!!!!!

George B.

Yelp
Bought a groupon and decided to visit the farm on a Sunday afternoon. When you reach the place you first have to go inside the farmers market to get your bag and they'll give you pass which you have to show going in and coming out from the orchards. The market is pretty big and has a wide variety of fruits, vegetables, jams and honey... They also serve hot food and I recommend the chili. Also don't forget the apple cider donuts, it's worth a trip by itself. Once you drive into the orchard fields there's plenty of space to park.. There are so many varieties of apple to choose from and they are marked... You'll also find the staff driving around, flag them down and they'll tell you where to look if you are looking for a particular kind. It was a fun Sunday afternoon and I'll definitely be coming back.

Renee R.

Yelp
This place is really great! A nice peaceful place to come with your family and pick some apples. My family and I came here during the week at the end of September and it was nice and quiet, full of apples and the market is really nice. Their prices are fantastic and the food is fresh. They have great apple cider donuts their pies are really good. We learned that on weekends they have an upstairs seating area where they have food.

Shweta G.

Yelp
Honestly not a bad farm to go to, I think most people probably have a great time. Pros: This farm is totally dog friendly. There was plenty of parking space when we went on a Sunday and got there around noon and plentiful apples unlike many other orchards by mid-October. I do highly recommend walking towards the back of the apple trees where you'll find more varieties than the ones you see at the grocery store and the apple trees won't be as sparse and small. You can fill your bag for $12 but it's mandatory for everyone in your group to purchase the entry to the orchard. The orchard is HUGE. The farm shop has some warm food if you drove a few hours to get there, and a ton of fun things like candy apples, sweet potato pancake mix, fresh apple cider donuts, jams, pies, gourds to buy out front, etc etc. Cons: Most of the gourds were dead even though it's peak season so if you were hoping for a cute pumpkin patch photo, good luck. The warm food was pretty mediocre, and the kid serving me Mac and cheese really struggled with my request to get some from the top. My paper boat got really soggy and one of the ladies unnecessarily sassed me as I was pulling a fork and an extra paper boat to stop my Mac and cheese from falling through. That being said, the farm employs a ton of high schoolers and the hospitality you're going to get is going to be just that (not good, not bad). There were only two bathrooms, so the wait is long and they're pretty dirty.

Yelp
So yes they allow dogs and yes their cider donuts & pies are EXCELLENT but CAREFUL when apple picking there are substantial amounts of poison ivy!!! The road that continues straight past the parking area is covered on both sides of the walking path (with Mutsu apples to the left and [Macs]? to the right); staff seemed unconcerned however this can make for a terrible end to an adventure day with kids/pets. We kept our child & dog in the stroller and walked out of our way to find areas without any. Their chocolate chip cookies also contain walnuts & are not labeled as such!

Yelp
Friendly and dog friendly farm. So important for us. They have a great selection of things to purchase in their market. The orchard is breath taking to pack a lunch amd just sit and enjoy the view is worth going , and for us its 2hrs away. Every squash and farmed grown produce you could think of they have. Their fudge and apple cider donuts are a must buy.

Yelp
I stopped in their farm store out of curiosity and ended up walking out with a ton of gorgeous locally produced food (jams, pickles, baked goods, meat!). We were staying with friends and I was able to put together a really lovely thank-you basket from the gorgeous goods at Wrights. I went in with my infant (just carrying her in her car seat) and I bought too much to carry out on my own while baby-wrangling and the sweet young woman working the register carried all the groceries out to my car for me.

Yelp
So! I thought it was about time I write a review! The job I work for that provides services for Wrights is always talking about them in every aspect. Well, I had to check it out for myself! First, I've been here several times now and everything tastes delicious, fresh, and amazing. I have now tried almost every pie, except for pecan it's on my list! And they all have been amazing either fresh or frozen. Next, the donuts? If you have not tried their donuts let me tell you they are heavenly sent. I use to go to tantillos for donuts because they were rated "#1" but that is highly false because Wrights definitely takes the title for that one. Next, I love the farm feel ambiance, the fresh food is very nice to see and have that options to buy locally. For the adults there is alcohol which "Freefall" tastes amazing! I am so happy that I was recommended by so many people to come here and will continue coming for a long time! Time to tell my business where to come for the good stuff!

Yelp
My friend bought a groupon for us to go apple picking. A group of 5 of us drove about 2 hours from the city to come out to the farm. Not much to pick from. The trees were pretty empty. Only a couple types left with not much on the trees. The bathroom situation is a nightmare. Only portables at the orchard and a 20 minute wait (2 bathrooms) at the store. I wouldn't recommend coming here for this reason alone. The store had what you would expect. The donuts were good. Everything was reasonable price with the exception of the raw honey. That was 50% more for some reason. The fall foliage on the drive was beautiful. This business tried to remove my review. Fix your business instead of silencing me.

Yelp
Best apple picking experience that I have ever had! Was looking for a dog-friendly orchard online and found this gem. Lots of varieties to choose from. Trees heavily laden with fruit. Beautiful setting. Picnic grounds. Reasonable pricing. Ability to augment what you pick at their farmstand which features produce, excellent pies in two sizes (we got a small triple berry and a regular pumpkin, both delicious), cider donuts, cider, jams, as well as some hot foods (chili, mac n' cheese, etc)

Yelp
We found a Groupon for Wright's Farm and thought it would make a good date day. We left Yonkers at about 11:00am and landed at the farm right around 12:30 (hint: take the Newburgh/Beacon Bridge rather than the Tappan Zee. The ride is gorgeous and the bridge is only $1.25 with EZ pass) When we got there we parked and looked around the market a bit. We were pointed in the direction of the apple picking line by a really sweet girl. We went on a crowded Sunday and the staff had everything completely under control. We had no issues using the Groupon, and everyone we talked to was super helpful and really friendly. A member of the family that owns the farm explained exactly what we were going to do, and everything moved along quickly. There was NO problem using the Groupon and the staff was really well trained on getting that handled quickly (a true rarity). We got our bags, then drove up to the orchard. I have to say, I've never seen someplace so beautiful in my life. Everything is so well-cared for and maintained. We drove up a dirt path and parked in an expansive grass lot. The trees were right ahead of us. We picked our little hearts out. Once we were done we just sat down in the grass and chatted, had something to drink and enjoyed the view. We also got to see skydivers jumping from a plane (how cool is THAT?!). When we were done we headed back down to the market. Before you leave the orchard they check your car to make sure you only have the bags you were given filled. The girl doing the checking was really amazing. She explained that she just needed to take a peak, asked if she could move a jacket on the backseat. Just great customer service. Back down at the market they have everything apple you could ever want. Caramel and candy apples are in heavy supply, but the apple cider donuts are the real star of the show. I can't even describe how good these were (they were hot when they brought our order out). They have a patio with seating and different foods (chili, mac and cheese, BBQ chicken, corn chowder) that you can enjoy. Pups, picnics and even grilling are welcomed on the orchard, so you can truly make a day of it. All told we had a truly amazing experience, and we will be back. We love supporting family-owned businesses, and this is one of those business were the people truly appear to love what they do. It shines through in their customer service, their beautiful orchard and the care that is taken to ensure everyone has a top-notch experience. I really can't say enough good things about this place, and the staff.
