Wrigley BBQ and Grill

Just found this gem. Amazing food and the customer service is over the top. Miguel treated us like family! Even the other customers were all friendly and giving tips for the best meats. I ended up with rib tips, brisket, and spare ribs. Perfection. Don't forget to ask for some honey for your corn bread :-). Thanks Miguel. I will be back.

Food is good and they were quick to prepare. There is parking right in front. The bbq sauce is really good. It has a little spiciness to it bit its not hot at all. And the bbq beans and mac and cheese are good as well. Finally they have good size servings and there is alot of meat. Ill be back to try more of the menu. Update, tried the ribs. So good ND again ots of meat and a good price for the dinner meal. They are so friendly and nice people. So glad we were in the area to stop by today.

This is my third visit to Wrigley's barbecue spotand it is consistently good!! The ribs were delicious, flavorable and fall off the bone tender, even with no sauce. Greens, dirty rice, mac and cheese tasted like my mama made them😇. The ribs were so good that I'm going back for a half slab today. Nice and friendly customer service too. I think ive found my favorite bbq spot!!

This is the 3rd time we odered food to Cater a function.. Everything was delicious !! The Dirty Rice is a meal itself, best I've had! Will definitely be back !!

Fast service if call ahead. Good simple food. A few tables inside and 1 on the patio. They have a TV too. Beef ribs are HUGE and fall off the bone.

Trying to support Black people here but they make it SO HARD! Visited the establishment based on a 4.7 review. I was in Long Beach picking up a bundt cake and I thought, I want some BBQ, so I choose this place. BIG MISTAKE. Pros: Meat falls off the bone and has a rich, smoky flavor. BBQ sauce is sweet and sticky, just like I like it! That's it though. Cons: No seasoning on the meat. Just throw it on the grill?? Who does that! Mac and cheese was dry. Original side desired was potato salad.....but they didn't have that. It hadn't even been started to be prepared. So you open at 12:00, I'm there around 1:30 and you haven't even begun to make the potato salad?? Cashier erroneously added an extra chicken (or beef, we couldn't tell) link AND a rib tip sandwich..........neither of which was ordered. So now we have to double, nay, triple check our receipt, so perhaps that error was ours ..............but NO! AND now for the low rating: Ordered a 1/2 slab of beef brisket. Checked the bag before we left and discovered it was left out. Husband went back in, told them and came out with a new, large container. Didn't dawn on us to check the new container, just assumed if they got it wrong the first time.............WRONG. Got ALL THE WAY HOME........opened the bag, discovered it was a rib tip dinner. REALLY>>> I expect so much more from my people and they are not getting my money if they can't get my order right. Most likely the first and last time I will visit this establishment. I'll just stick to my local Woody's BBQ. It's a hole in the wall but the meat is seasoned and they have NEVER got my order wrong.

This is some great Southern Barbeque Food that is good for the soul! Definitely going back.

I cannot recommend the catfish highly enough; simply phenomenal. The best I've had in LA (I've eaten a lot of catfish, too - grew up in the midwest going fishing every week during the summer). Cooked perfectly, cornmeal in the breading, somehow not greasy at all. It was so good we tried to buy more, but they were out (it's only available Friday, Sat and Sun I believe). The fried chicken was also great, as were the collard greens. The stir-fried cabbage was good. The spare ribs were a little overly sauced (though I believe some would appreciate that), so I would recommend getting the sauce on the side or without (they do give that option). Really friendly folks who work there, as well - we felt welcomed. We will definitely be back; great place to eat.
