REPLY: Sorry, but I will not be gong back. I am from Wisconsin and that is cheese I never ate out there. Eating your cheese was like eating teaspoons of salt. It was simply horrible. It's a shame you changed to cheaper products. I haven't been here since last year. Wow, maybe new owners. Don't know what happened to the food. I bought cheese fries and hot dog. The cheese on the fries tasted lake I was eating teaspoons of salt, horrible taste. The color is even different. The hot dog was just okay. Time to find a new place.

Meh, the food is ok. Definitely overpriced but that’s what you pay in that area. Service at the register when I was ordering was not great. The man was rude and very short. But if you’re in the mood for a hot dog and you’re in the area… sure it’ll pass! I had the beef (pictured) not what I expected. Meat was a little dry and wasn’t cut the way I’m used to having it cut. Again, over priced… 18 bucks for beef, fries and small drink.

Everything we had was delicious. Recommend the pizza puff, the cheese fries, the Chicago dog, and the polish sausage. There's a bathroom for customers that was nice and clean too. Service was fast and friendly.

At night, Wrigleyville Dogs becomes a place like no other and convinces visitors with its marvelous powers. It works somewhat like a time machine, if anything like that may exist, and takes its customers straight to another period of existence. Time travel, for most serious scientists still something perceived as impossible, is becoming something I refer to as „imaginary reality“. Prerequisites for such time travel at Wrigleyville are simply the absence of natural light, darkness so to say, and the intoxication of one‘s body (ethanol recommended to those aged 21 or older). Once those two conditions are met, time travels immediately after having purchased french fries and mozarella sticks. The atmosphere on the patio is unparalleled, thanks to the specific illumination installment. Customer service is friendly and the time machine‘s location excellent. I advocate the institution to anyone looking to escape the present and (re-)live life in some former decade.

They were horrible with the customer service from the moment I walked in. It took a while for someone to acknowledge me at the register then started laughing and speaking Spanish amongst each other while taking my order I ordered a Number 7 which is the Wrigley Beef (lol) the presentation of my food my disgusting my sandwich was super dry no peppers the meal looked like it was just thrown together. I was convinced they are not LGBT FRIENDLY. I asked was this my food they replied with the smartest attitude "yeah". I left my food at the counter and walked out. I would never order anything out of this hole in the wall needs to be shut down

Traveling from SLC Utah and I had high expectations. Food was okay. I had the Italian Beef. Didn’t eat the bread. The meat was flavorful. Crinkled fries were a little over done. Tables were dirty. Had to ask to wipe down the tables despite the place not being busy. The service is less than mediocre. Wobbly tables, the place needs cleaning. Lots of food items to choose from, it’s overwhelming. The prices are as expected- high. I won’t be back. I’m sure you can find another place to spend your money.

Good late-night spot. Perfect place to cap a night after a show, game, or bar crawl. Probably wouldn't eat here sober. It is what it is.

Good Wrigley find .... The Italian beef smacks and is super tasty Must go if you are near Wrigley field and crave some dogs

We stopped here on our way to a cubs game. It was busy, but there was still room inside to stand in line. The line was about 4 deep, not bad for just before a game. We ordered a Chicago style dog. It was much smaller than expected. I'm not a mustard fan, but I liked it. I enjoyed all the flavors. The peppers gave it a little kick. We also ordered a gyro with everything: tomatoes and onions and a white sauce. It was huge. I had to eat some meat out of it before picking it up. The Chicago dog and gyro were delicious. I highly recommend this place before a game. The line is almost nonexistent and they have a bathroom. Indoor and outdoor seating. We sat outside.

For me a hot dog is one thing, but a Chicago dog wooooweeee can't beat that. This time around I didn't gobble down the Chicago glizzard as I normally would. No this time, I had a CHILI. CHEESE. DOG. I'd say this dog is just like the girls in Wrigleyville, a bit sloppy, not something you'd bring home to mom, but you still love them and need to em in your life. It was 2:34 am and the place was still popping. Yeah there was no Cubs game going on, but as I put my lips on this beautiful and I mean beautiful dog, it made me think as if I was on the field. And as if my ballz were the ball, and if you took that bat and whacked them, they would be blown off all the way over the fence in deep center. Thank Chicago, keep up. Xoxo Lungo Girl

Remember when Jennifer Coolidge wanted a hot dog real bad in "Legally Blonde"? I was slightly pickier and was feeling the same way about a Chicago dog. Fortunately Jamie W. booked our hotel right across the street from Wrigley Field, so prospects looked good for us to find an authentic Chicago dog. Sure enough, we walked only one block up Clark and found this spot. I initially pooh-poohed the idea that we could get a high quality Chicago dog here, but they showcased a surgical diagram of what goes into their Chicago Dogs, and I have to admit I was impressed. So impressed, in fact, that I ordered the $11.50 Chicago Dog Combo Meal with fries, of course, and a 20-ounce Diet Coke...like that was really gonna help. I have no idea whether the Chicago dog was authentic, but it sure was tasty. The split Kosher pickle, the sport peppers, the diced onions, the florescent green relish, the celery salt...they were all present and accounted for. For lack of immediate comparison, I have assessed the Wrigleyville Chicago Dog as ultimately satisfying. So much so we came back after an Andersonville gay bar jaunt and had another dog. It worked really well after a couple of cocktails elsewhere. Can't beat a steamed dog with mustard on a bun wrapped around the dog. This one did not disappoint.

Wrigleyville Dogs hit the spot with their classic hot dogs and "Chicago Style" is a MUST! This fast food joint has a fun vibe, great prices, and is a wonderful place to try this staple of the local food scene.

I've been here twice now. Both times have been a good experience. Service is pretty quick and the food is good. Seating is available for about 26 people. There are 7 sit down tables and one standing table. The woman who took my order was very nice both times and made sure my order was correct for all members of my party and happily answered any questions. My first visit, it was around thanksgiving and the place was crowded but we were still able to sit and get our food at a decent time. My visit today was pretty sparse and food came out quickly. The place is clean overall. The restroom is clean, but you have to be buzzed in since it's customers only. Overall enjoyed my visits here. Not necessarily a place I'd go out of my way to get food from but being in the area it's not a bad choice. The price point is slightly expensive, BUT it's Wrigleyville so the prices make sense.

Simple foods, very clean, really nice gentleman taking order. Outside seating. Close to Wrigley Field away from the large crowds!

Do you know what's wrong with Wrigleyville dogs nothing ? This area is beginning to get more corporate as the years go by. It's also getting more bougie, so having a grease burger joint with hot dogs and gyros is refreshing. We had the Italian beef(with mozzarella-not on the menu) and Gryos. Both were fine with a tad less meat but I'm nitpicking. It's open late night right across the metro. Perfect to get over your hangover.

Wow, I am not a hot dog fan, but this place was excellent. I enjoyed every bite. It was perfect as served.

These are the most disrespectful paisas I've ever dealt with. "Don chuey" got my order wrong and when I told him I ordered a #14 AND an extra order of cheese fries. He says he didn't add it to my order. When I sat down he tells the other compas "Me ven carra de wuey!?" Which means "they think I'm stupid" so rude! First and last time there! This a NO star review

Shady place. Only place I've ever had a person at cash register turn the touch pad so I saw tip options for a split second only before not selecting anything but the screen changed and they processed the transaction with 20% gratuity on receipt even though I didn't input anything. I even work late night bar industry and have been told at bars and restaurants I'm a generous tipper but never had someone auto input a tip anywhere. This happened 2am 3/17/24 and I had to remind them I ordered a bottled water as well. Fuck this place.

WAY overpriced. There number 7 combo is a 6-inch beef, small fry, and a 12 oz fountain drink. It costs $18. Portillo's would charge you $14 for that. Also charges $5 and change for a single hot dog. Food is not close to worth that price for the portions they give.

Hands down the best polish sausage in the area. Everywhere nearby has something annoying about theirs but not Wrigleyville dogs.

Solid Chicago hot dog stand type place. They've been in the neighborhood forever, which is no small feat for any restaurant. The food here is solid, and you can dine in, carry out or get delivery from the usual apps. I'm not usually a crinkle fry guy, but they cook theirs well and I am a huge fan. Highly recommend WD for some late night eats or if you're simply looking to clog some arteries.

GO ELSEWHERE! The food was mediocre at best- I had a cheeseburger & fries. SERVICE was bad- they were rude & when I asked for a cup for water they said I have to buy a bottle, ALSO they are CHARGING a % of your bill for paper goods? I asked what the charge was for and he said the RECEIPT! What? When I sat down the ppl next to me were complaining about this bogus charge as well.

I've lived down the street from Wrigleyville Dogs for a few years now but always assumed it was more of a tourist trap for those going to Cubs game. I had a hankering for a chicago dog so I decided to give it a try since it is so close. The man working behind the counter was super friendly and my food came out quick. I chicago dog and some mozzarella sticks to-go. The hot dog looked pretty sad by the time I made it back home, which is a very short walk. Everything was kind of smushed together, and the bun barely had any poppy seeds on it. It tasted fine, but I was by no means blown away. The mozzarella sticks were really good though, so that was a plus! If I come here again, it would probably just be for easy sides like the fries or moz sticks.

This was a short sample of what they offer got a simple chili dog. The chili was flavorless then to top it off it had liquid gold cheese on it. Maybe if I did not hail from the Cheese Coney Captial of the World Cincinnati this version maybe acceptable. But the standard for a cheese Coney is very high.. my suggestion try the more traditional Chicago style dogs.

Great location. So many places to choose from for a "Chicago" dog. This placed looked neat and reasonable. The hotdogs were good - flavorful, just a lil' small. Would maybe recommend two dogs, and skip the fries (they were pretty good too thought). We ate outside and watch the passerby and teased the well-behaved birds.

Great food and value. Fast service. The atmosphere is what you would expect for an older establishment. The bathroom was clean, but beware it doesn't have a lock on the handle.

I have had a few hot dogs and corn dogs in Chicago. While I loved the friendly helpful staff the food just fell flat. The chili cheese dog looked great and surprisingly it was the dog that fell flat. It was tough as heck and over cooked. The poppy seed bun and the topping were ok but that dog was chewy. I also got a corn dog and man. It was just a frozen state fair frozen corn dog. It was not bad. I but it was exactly what I could make at home. The cheese fries were legit. Not special. Just regular crinkle cut fries with a nice cheese sauce. Hey of you are in the area and a little tipsy though it's not bad

the staff was beyond rude. we asked for fires with our order, which would be shown on the receipt (that they didn't give us) and they refused to give us what we ordered. the food sucked, I've gotten better food at a chain coney island. wouldn't even come here if I was starving. if I could give it zero stars I would.

A neighborhood staple that is easily swamped on busy days by a crazy walk-up crowd and a drive thru. Wait times can be long and prices are steep, but in a pinch it's not a bad option to grab some "traditional" Chicago fare.

Having relocated to AZ, I miss a good Chicago dog. So what is more natural than while in Chicago taking in a Cubs game, then to enjoy one of life's little pleasures. This place is real dog and beef joint in the heart of trendy restaurants. The dog was perfect, their fries seemed good and the small piece of a gyro my wife allowed me to taste was pretty good too.

I came here after a Wrigley Field tour because our tour guide recommended it and we needed a quick lunch before the game! I got a Chicago dog, fries and onion rings. The Chicago dog is your standard dog. The onion rings were more of a thick batter style and I liked them! They weren't the thin uniform kind you see at other places. Overall it was perfect for my snack needs and I liked that there was outside seating. It's a not frills place, but you get what you're expecting in a fast food place.

Decided to stop in here after work and ordered an Italian beef with half sweet/hot peppers + mozz with a hot dog. Extremely disappointed with the Italian beef, theres no hot peppers on here just a crumb of carrot & a single peace of jalapeño the rest just sweet peppers. I paid $18 for THIS & there was a paper fee for 80 cents so my total went from $16 to $18 i for sure will not be returning to this place. Any Italian beef i get anywhere if i ask for peppers there's a good amount on there like what is this.

When I'm Chicago.... Stopped here for some authentic Chicago dogs before the Cubs game with the family. We actually parked in their lot for $50 which is super close to the stadium (basically across the street). Overall, not bad food. The chili dog was underwhelming for as tasty as it looks. The fries were pretty fresh and hot, which was a plus. Now for the Chicago dog... quality 4* taste 5* service 4* price 1* I get that you across from Wrigley, but the prices for these dogs were just too high for the quality.

This is about a block from wrigley field, so you can walk it. Small place with some tables. Good price for the food. The size of the hot dogs and filling was good for the price.

It's close to Wrigley Field and open late. For tourists looking for a Chicago style hotdog, this place will get you that experience. It was very tasty, nicely presented and the fries are crisp, salty and hot.

If you eat nothing else here, get the french fries. They are crisp, fresh, and super tasty. The rest of the meal was your usual "diner style Chicago food." We stopped in before a Cubs game to get a hot dog, gyro, and polish sausage. It's just one of those things to do in Chicago. I would say the food was okay. It wasn't outstanding. But the gyro surprised me in that it as nice and crisp (some places serve it up too soggy). It was actually quite good. The hot dog was okay, but WAY cheaper than getting it inside Wrigley Field -same for the Polish. Not sure I'll be back, but it was a good quick eat before the game and again, much cheaper than eating the same thing inside the ballpark.

What possessed me to get non breakfast food at 9am? I have no idea, but I did and Wrigleyville Dogs is the place I did it at. I was wandering alone on Saturday morning looking for a quick bite to eat when I passed by this place and thought "yeah, I should eat this for breakfast". The gentleman working was friendly enough and the place was empty, this was definitely a place to go to after a Cubs game when looking for some food. I ended up ordering a polish hotdog with French fries and the food was done pretty quickly. For what it was....the hot dog was actually pretty good (although hot dogs should not be consumed at 9:30 in the morning). It was a little thicker then a regular hot dog and pretty flavourful. The French fries didn't have much flavour but weren't bad, did the job for being on the side. This place is what it is. You come here for cheap hotdogs and hamburgers before/after a baseball game and you know what to expect. Not a bad place for what it is.

Great dogs but DO NOT TIP!!! THEY ADD AN AUTOMATIC GRATUITY WITHOUT TELLING YOU!!! For weeks I've been coming here and adding additional tip without noticing. This will be the last time I come to this place. It's too bad because they have good food, they're just dishonest.

We got lucky and was in the area on game day - which enhanced the experience. The surprise? It wasn't crowded by the time we got there. The food was everything we expected and needed it to be, and the staff was super friendly.

There was an issue with my online order on Ritual, and they handled it so well and made it right. Outstanding service. I had a bun less cheeseburger with bacon, and it was delicious!

I paid $8.99 for cheese fries with bacon this is what I get also I only got 1 on the hot dogs I ordered, which was another $9.98 and you have got to be kidding me? No extra cheese, nothing. Really nice NOT!!!!! Check you're optics, gladly show you my receipt.

Buyer beware! The quality of food from this place is not good. I rarely leave reviews...but my experience with the food from Wrigleyville Dogs warrants a PUBLIC WARNING. Here's why: Chili Cheese Dog- was like something a child would assemble in the absence of parental supervision. Soft peppercorn hoagie bun (?) underneath a thin, shriveled, red, greasy "hot dog". Adorned with a smeared spoonful of canned meatless chili, yet SMOTHERED in a generous slop of canned cheese "product". Not edible and sad. Also: side of ranch tasted like chemicals, and the onion rings (tasted good) but tiny portion. Waste of money!!!

Edible. Disheveled venue. Counter Service. Great combo prices. SKIP the Italian Beef as it taste like cooked deli meat. NOT bad though compared to Others. Sloppy addition of Hot Giardiniera makes the sandwich spicier than usual or expected. Standard Sweet Peppers. Vanilla is the default SHAKE flavor. Other Flavors are syrups added into Vanilla, adding more calories. SKIP the ordinary gyros too! KEEP your food *SIMPLE* to fries, hot dogs, etc for a satisfying meal. I have heavy doubts on burgers too as patty would need good seasoning.

I guess it makes sense that this is called Wrigleyville dogs because it's right next to Stadium packed within hundreds of bars. Maybe that's why they've been around for so long because everyone that goes in is so inebriated they have no idea how nasty the food they're eating actually is. Also last time I went in there the security guard of all people was trying to hassle everyone Jesus if the food isn't bad enough the people certainly are

Not the worst hot dog Iv had but cheese fries and fried mushrooms are in-edible and your going to pay a premium for being soo close to wriggly field... I would pass on this place if I were you.

We stopped in tonight for a quick and cheap meal. One person was in front of us in line and ordering, after he finished ordering the workers were chit chatting and ignoring us for a good amount of time at a point we thought they were done taking orders fore night. Finally the cashier rudely asked if we wanted something and acted as if we were annoying him for even being there. The food on the other hand was great food for being fast food. We both had Gyros. If we're in the area we might visit it again but won't make a special trip.

This was the restaurant where I had my first ever gyro. It was awesome. I'm hooked for life. The fries were delicious too. Beers and Wrigleyville Dogs makes for a great weekend.

I came in tonight with my son and drove all the way from the south side because my son likes the chicken kabob meal oh, when we received our meal we noticed that it was a sandwich and not the normal meal that we normally get with the rice and the potatoes. my son went in and told them that he ordered a different meal and they got an attitude with him & refused to fix his order even though we offered to pay the difference which was only a couple dollars, they continued to talk in Spanish in front of us and ignoring my son. completely rude!!! just ignored us and refuse to fix our order, I have been coming here for years and I will not come back again This was my worst experience ever and being a customer for over 20 years this made me not want to come back! all you had to do is fix my order and I would've been happy

A classic Chicago Hot Dog joint. Prices are on the higher side for a regular Vienna Beef dog at $3.50, but you have to consider you're in the heart of Wrigleyville, so they're quite fair in reality. A Hot Dog Combo with a good size order of fries and a 20oz. Soda sets you back $8. It's worth it in my book. Great tasting dog, fresh fries, and an ice cold Coke is just what I had in mind for dinner. Definitely recommended for a pre-concert meal at the Metro.

We ended up at Wrigleydogs needing a real quick bite before going to Wrigley. Quick was correct. The waiting, ordering and food receiving process took less than 10 minutes. I was super excited to get a corn dog. It came out in a wrapper from State Fair with nutrition facts on the back. No. Just no. I don't want to see that when drunkenly eating a corn dog. The fries were good and everything was cheap. The corn dog killed it for me though.
