To finish off a lovely evening we decided to have one last drink so we went across to Raffles Hotel area and decided to chose Writers Bar. This is a very gentlemen study/club decor with leather seats and shelving floor to ceiling with drinks, and it's a high ceiling as well. Service was quick friendly and very courteous. we hadn't pre-book but had no trouble getting in at just after 9am on a Saturday but an hour later it was getting fuller with no seat left as a wedding reception at the hotel concluded.

What a great Bar at the iconic Raffles Hotel, esp the outdoor colonial style terraces. An oasis of calm and peace. Great wine and Easy Bites selection. Excellent, professional service

Located beside the Raffles Hotel main entry, ambience was definitely lovely to have a chill catch up night over drinks 🍸 Service was amazing since we entered. Various choices of drinks, ranging around $30 to $45! Got free snacks of pretzels, walnut, and olive 🫶🏻✨ Best to booked in advance!

There was a launch held here recently with Chef Alvin Leung who will partner with Vanta Private Members Club The cocktails champagne Billecart Salmon and food were super tasty Overall rating 9/10 This venue is for an evening soiree with the Demon Chef but it was cool Amazing place, ambience and classe! Finesse explosion!

First time at Writers Bar in Raffles hotel. The service was extraordinary. Tasty cocktails. They asked my taste profile before making the drinks to please my taste and the interactions with the bartenders were great. They really explained the concept behind the menu. Will surely visit again soon to try more of their creations. 🤍

This bar is my absolute favourite in Singapore! The staff are amazing, friendly, knowledgeable and creative! For a quiet and calm atmosphere, but still with sophisticated drinks, Writer’s Bar is the place to go. I would recommend it to anyone, and especially if you like books and literary references, their menu is your go-to choice.

Visited outer bar yesterday 8th Dec around noon. Ordered Iced Tea and Singapore Sling. All simply delicious and worthy of their reputation. However, the noteworthy feature in my experience was the bartender. She was simply outstanding and a wonderful representative of your fine establishment. 5 stars go to her alone.

I enjoyed a splendid evening at Writers Bar - this tranquil gem is the perfect place to relax and relish excellent service as well as a broad variety of liquors and Cocktails. I even got a custom made Cocktail! Absolutely loved this bar! Reservations are a must and it's not a very big place either. It's absolutely stunning inside- very posh! However, the inside was not available when I was making a reservation, so the hubs and I enjoyed a nice cocktail outside which was very relaxing and spacious. The weather was conducive for outdoor drinking luckily. I opted for the famous million dollar cocktail and it was delicious! Light and refreshing. Service was impressive. This little bar definitely has it going on!
