Vibes for the win. We went here for our anniversary and luckily they were able to fit us in because we were booked at their bishop arts location 🙈. Stunning decor! The location is mad prime! There’s also a cute patio area when the weather is nice in Dallas. Best of show: Salt Cod Fritters - so delicate yet crisp outside served with those smokey okra ☺️ the Calabrian chili oil sauce really brought it full circle Runner up: Wild mushroom Salad with caramelized pearl onions and bread crumbs. It needed a little acid so we asked for a side of lemon and that really helped. Dayboat Scallops & Crispy Pork Belly were the downfalls for me. I just felt that the dishes weren’t cohesive. The sauce on the melon really threw me into a loop. I’ve had pork belly and watermelon so I was hoping for the same feeling - maybe next time. I mean cocktails were on point. No complaints there. I really wanted to love everything but I mean there were some that stood out enough for me to want to come back!

Dropped in for lunch shared a salad and a cheeseburger. Solid reviews on both. Delicious juicy chicken in salad and burger was cooked to medium per request. Seasoning on point. Potatoes accompanied the burger. Well done. Appetizer was salted pecans. Wish they had been warm but were tasty. Service great.

The environment is excellent. Sitting outside with a drink and a ham platter is incredibly cozy. We then ordered four different types of cheese, and overall, the Blue cheese received the highest praise. Additionally, the Fried Shrimp and Mango Salad we ordered were surprisingly delicious. This restaurant is really perfect for having a drink and chatting here.

This restaurant was so good, we went here 2 days in a row (both locations). Love the seasonal concept. The kimchi pancake and Persimmon Toast were our favorite. Sophia was our server, she was incredible! Made our dinner so special.

Each time I come here, it’s a special experience. Last time, I was here, I was craving the duck…unfortunately they didn’t have it. I came back tonight and it was so worth the wait. AD, waited on me both times and is extremely knowledgeable and personable. Written by the Seasons is becoming one of my favorite restaurants. The GM Bailey, is also extremely personable and welcoming. Also, make a reservation to avoid long waits. :)

If you’re trying to decide on a place to dine with friends, but having trouble pleasing everyone’s taste…choose Written by the Seasons! Their menu is perfect for trying and sharing many varied dishes, all inspired by fresh ingredients currently in season. Just ask the staff for recommendations…they are extremely knowledgeable and will course the plates two at a time for perfect timing. Their courtyard-facing patio is enchanting with the trees fully lit. While most dishes were great, Carrot Muhammara starter with fried flatbread and the Pavlova for dessert were the highlights. I’ve never been a dessert person, but their pavlova was light and airy and not overly sweet, I’d highly recommend it. My only negative was that drink service was excessively slow. We sat with empty glasses far too long.

Everything was immaculate. The NY strip, cod chowder and hazelnut pavlova we got was made to perfection. Bartender Ati was super charming and whipped up some good drinks too ;) (Brad, if you see this, thank you!)

A beautiful evening enjoying fresh food and drinks with colleagues! Many of the menu items were Asian inspired and have fresh, farm to table ingredients. I enjoyed the delicious and fresh appetizers including the salad, Pork Belly, and Crudo. I loved the lighting at the evening and really enjoyed the mocktails, including the Cucumber Refresher with NA Prosecco (so good)! The details at the restaurant are stunning - they even had real fresh hand towels inside the bathroom for drying your hands. The only downside was the sound at the restaurant - very loud and harder to hear the group chatting.

Yelp
I am so thrilled WBTS opened in uptown. This is very much one of those places, if you know, you know. The food is such a great quality, the people are friendly and they did an amazing job with the design. This location feels like the older sibling to the Bishop Arts location, the bar centering the room, the red marble throughout, the low lighting it's so romantic and vibey. Definitely a local spot to stop by for happy hour or a great option for a nice date! The food is all amazing, it does change so I'd trust the team to point you in the right direction!

Yelp
Get the kimchi pancakes!!! They are a popular dish and a lot of people really like them (myself included). We also got the carrot muhammara, and the mushroom plate. The muhammara with the kimchi pancakes is actually a good combo! I was surprised at how amazing the mushrooms were as well. My husband got the duck confit for his main and was very happy with it. I got the steak, medium rare, and it was cooked perfectly. The outside was crispy and the inside pink. We did end up asking for some salt and that elevated the brussels sprouts for me (I like things salty). The only thing my husband and I were not a fan of was the mashed potatoes. They had a creamy gravy mixed in and it wasn't a flavor we personally prefer. Overall, I think the small plates were very good. You could easily have an entire meal of just the small plates and even share them. At the end of the meal we were both very full and took most of our main course to go. Service: The staff was very attentive, knowledgable, and professional. The chef asks that all the food (except dessert) be ordered at one time and they will space it out when they bring it to you. I like this system, it made the experience much more effortless. Although, I think they are still figuring out the flow and pace of the customers because at times there was not enough space on our table for all the small plates and they were trying to help us clear off plates so that felt slightly rushed but I think it's something they will nail down soon. Atmosphere: I love the interior! It's cozy and has big windows. The furnishings are super hip and cool. I am a fan of the design. I will mention that some of the tables for two (like where we were seated) were very close to the other tables (so you can easily hear each other's conversations) if that is something that bothers you it may be a good idea to request different seating. It was not a problem for us as we were not discussing private matters but I wouldn't want to sit there for a first date or a business meeting. Parking: They have valet and cover the cost of this, so parking was not a problem. This was the case on Friday evening.

Yelp
The concept of small and large plates made a family-style meal amongst us perfect. We secured a reservation on a busy Saturday, but did need to book 2 weeks in advance. The atmosphere is so sultry and warm. Each dish was a mind-blowing creation of pure deliciousness and color. What truly made our time there incredible was our server Rory. He really made our experience top notch! We cannot recommend Rory enough if you get the privilege of having him.

Yelp
This was a long awaited visit to Written by the Seasons at the Quad! The service was just how I like it...a lot of attention to detail. For dinner, I enjoyed the Dayboat Scallops. The savory scallops with the sweet potato puree and roasted squash was a sweet and savory combo that I literally seek for my special meals. The guava cheesecake traveled well as a to-go item. Welcome to the neighborhood WbtS! Cheers!

Yelp
I was so excited to try this suggested Michelin restaurant. The food and the atmosphere was amazing. The service was on point as well. The pork belly was mind blowing. Highly recommend this place.

Yelp
Great experience from the appetizers to the entrees. Had the duck for my entree and it was cooked perfectly, crispy skin and moist! Service was friendly and attentive. Prefect for date night or just because you want to treat yourself to a good meal with great ambience!

Yelp
Great new chef-driven spot in Uptown. It's a beautiful restaurant with beautiful food and impeccable service. We loved the kimchi pancakes and the ribeye. Going back this week!

Yelp
Sat on the patio with a friend and had the blood orange marg, cabbage dish, and buratta. The food and drinks were amazing. We switched to wine and were in love with the fabulous stemware. Although we enjoyed beautiful weather on the patio, the interior was romantic and a great vibe. We made fast friends with many of the staff - Adrien and Audrey are two names I recall, but everyone was so welcoming and friendly. I look forward to coming back to this uptown location very soon, and checking out alllll the stemware :)

Yelp
Truly a gem of a restaurant! This brand new location at the Quad in uptown Dallas is phenomenal!! Every bite was delicious, and I can't wait to try the menu for next season! Excellent service from Sam and Audrey! The music and lighting were absolutely perfect as well! I cannot wait until my next visit! I highly recommend the Duck Confit, it's absolutely resplendent.
