Tabletop grilling, K‑pop art, and well‑marinated meats make Wudon a go‑to. Riverfront Times praised it for giving St. Louis the Korean barbecue it needed; a steady stream of recent diners confirms it’s still cooking.

Definitely an authentic Korea bbq restaurant. The food/meats are all of excellent quality. The staff are all very friendly and courteous. The restaurant itself could definitely use some updating/repairs. It’s a little high priced for where it is but still a good experience none the less.

The tables were sticky, the walls had visible grease splatters - not exactly the vibe you want when you're about to eat. We got our usual large beef combo($90-typically for 4-5 people ) and I swear they gave us 2/3 the meat they used to. The grill barely had any heat - we sat there forever waiting for the meat to cook.

Really fun night out grilling at the table! All the food was wonderful. The waitstaff was friendly and helpful 🙂 With tip, we spent about $100 for four adults and it felt like a bargain considering the generous and delicious food portions. Will definitely be back!

If you’re looking for a great place to try authentic Korean food, I highly recommend this place. It’s overall a good experience, but I wish they had corn tea. But the absolute best thing they serve is their beef bulgogi! You absolutely must try it! The staff are so friendly and welcoming!

I absolutely adore Korean BBQ. Going here for lunch is usually positive experience. I get the spicy pork and stew. I've also come here for dinner and loved it then, but I get here far more often for lunch.

Google
hi guys I wanted to share my recent experience at a barbecue restaurant with you. To celebrate my daughter's birthday today, we chose to dine at this particular location, as we often explore various culinary spots. The overall ambiance and aesthetics of the restaurant were satisfactory, creating a pleasant atmosphere for our celebration. However, I must point out that the customer service experience could have been improved with more attentive staff. Despite this, the pricing was reasonable, and we felt it offered good value for money. Now, coming to the highlight of any dining experience - the food. The dishes we tried were delicious, meeting our expectations. My daughter, especially, thoroughly enjoyed her birthday meal and had a wonderful time. In conclusion, I would recommend this restaurant as a decent option for a casual dining experience. While there are areas that could use some enhancement, the food quality and the overall experience make it a worthwhile visit.

WUDON Korean BBQ: Where You Cook, You Eat, You Feel Loved… and Leave Smelling Like Victory WUDON is not just a restaurant — it’s an experience. One where you get to cook your own food like a culinary gladiator, armed with tongs and dreams. It was my first time ever going, and let me tell you: I’ve never felt so welcomed while being handed raw meat. The staff? Absolute gems. Super friendly, helpful, and somehow managed to make me feel like I wasn’t one missed flip away from setting off the smoke alarm. They explained everything, checked on us often, and didn’t even flinch when I asked how to pronounce “gochujang” like a nervous tourist. Five-star hospitality. I felt loved. The marinated meats? Insanely good. I don’t know what kind of magical potion they soak it in, but I’d like to bottle it and wear it as cologne. I was out here flipping short ribs like it was my calling. Each bite was a reward for not burning dinner. The place itself is gorgeous — clean, modern, with sleek tables that have built-in grills that made me feel like I was manning a starship. It’s got a vibe that says, “Yes, you’re cooking… but you’re also kind of a big deal.” Just know: you will leave smelling like you won a Korean BBQ battle. But with a full belly, a happy heart, and a strong desire to come back. WUDON: Come hungry. Leave full of meat, joy, and the scent of grilled greatness

Google
We had a group of 5. Large platter was a good value. Unfortunately it was very cold inside the entire time we were there... like in the low 60s.... our entire group was uncomfortable and we never took off our coats. Otherwise ... food seemed fresh and you cook the meat yourself right at your table.

Yelp
Fun way to enjoy lunch. Had not experienced this style of food and cooking at the table. Raw chicken in a huge heap brought to the table grill with sides, soup and an eggy bread. The chicken was not cut up in an appealing way, but cooked up fine and tasty. Server was not easy to understand, menu a bit confusing but sorted it out eventually.

Yelp
Service was good, amount of food was decent. The place was mentioned by one of the Koreans I met so I thought it would taste more authentic. Maybe I'm biased with the KBBQ I've had before but it wasn't as good as I was expecting. Overall, it's decent enough and the side dishes were not too bad but not sure if I would consider it as my go to KBBQ spot.

Yelp
Love love love Wudon. We come here all the time. Their seafood pancake is to die for, the beef bulgolgi and short rib are my favorites! Such a good and fun eating experience.

Yelp
My recent visit was amazing. AYCE Korean BBQ comes with soup, steamed eggs and Korean seafood pancake. You can choose between regular AYCE and LA Galbi AYCE. Pro: If you love galbi, this is the place. I really like the galbi flavor here. Cons: they don't serve fresh veggies to eat with grilled meats. The restaurant was kinda out of date and somewhat looked dirty. Service was good and friendly.

Yelp
Wudon is our absolute favorite Korean bbq spot. We have been to many others in St. Louis, but Wudon has the best quality food, and thankfully they don't nickel and dime you for extra banchan and rice. It's a great experience for a group of friends since it's all you can eat and you get to cook all the meats yourself. We got the bulgogi beef, spicy pork, and galbi, which also came with their seafood pancake, 2 soups, steamed eggs, and their unlimited banchan and rice.

Yelp
Grabbed Sunday lunch at Wudon, it was so good!! Found out I like pickled radishes, they have never been a vegetable that was at the top of my list of things to eat but that has changed. Opted not to eat the actual "cook your own meal" version of the BBQ, but went for the Bulgogi Dolsot and my lunch mate ordered the Jeyuk Dolsot. The difference is the amount of time the meat marinades, the Bulgogi was so tender and flavorful. I also tried the Soon Dobu Jjigae soup with seafood. It came to the table boiling hot. Everything we had was good, fresh, and filling. Wudon sits off Olive, west of 270. Stop in and check them out, you will not be disappointed.

Yelp
This was place was very disappointing. It only gets a star because the customer service was nice and quick. A customer was being so disrespectful to an employee and they handled it well so props to the employee. This place is honestly filthy, only ate here because we had not eaten all day and had already paid for an Uber. As you can see, the ceiling is beat up (like the rest of the place. The menus pictured are filthy. The grills perimeter was already that dirty when we arrived. Please take a look at their health code violations! Save yourself the trip.

Yelp
So for starters. This is a smaller location than I thought it was. That's okay because with that, you don't have the hustle and bustle of a corp. My partner and I stopped here after coming from the airport for a nice bite. Upon entry we were greeted promptly and sat at the table near the window. I thought that the grill and some of the chairs could use some touch ups but that was minor. The menu is accessed through QR code which is nice in 2025. We ordered from the premium menu and had the short ribs, spicy chicken, beef and teriyaki chicken with rice as a side. The meat was very flavorful. I also had the steamed egg which complimented the meat perfectly. The ambiance was great as well. There were hand painted murals on the wall that gave the interior a nice vibe. It's nice for a cute date night to see if your partner can cook food properly. lol. Overall a good experience.

Yelp
Best KBBQ I have had. I have been going to Wudon since high school and some of my friends have a tradition of everyone getting the all you can eat buffet then seeing how many platters we can take down. I have countless great memories here and there are several things that Wudon does very well. The first thing that comes to mind is the meats! Oh man the variety, flavor, quality and quantity of the platters they bring out are amazing. The beef bulgogi, chicken bulgogi, spicy pork, brisket, pork belly, etc are all so good. The spicy pork and beef bulgogi are my personal favorites and are marinated in a delicious sauce that makes every bite a treat. The grill set up is very nice and certain tables can accommodate up to 10 or more people. They don't change the grill out often which is an aspect that I really like as it allows the grill to stay hot and for you to continue to cook at a good rate which is ideal for larger parties. The sides that come with the all you can eat are also quite good but I typically restrain from indulging too much so I can fill up on the good stuff. Atmosphere inside is intimate, and simple. Staff is kind and attentive, almost always staying on top of waters and requests. Myself and many of my friends love this spot and we will continue to come and enjoy ourselves as long as we can.

Yelp
Well. Here we go again. A place I've been dying to try that was grossly disappointing. We were sat and given water immediately but the service was far and few between after that. From the time it took to get our menus, to taking our order, to anyone checking in, it was quite sparse. Being that it was our first time there I was hoping to see some instructions. We had to guess that the hot plate was there and removed the covering to discover it was already heated. We initially weren't aware we'd be cooking our own food. For all the work we had to do ourselves it's absurd that you can only order the short ribs once and they give you the smallest portion to share since this was the best of the meats we tried. Then they have the nerve to say...after you spend $30 on your meal, that if you leave some meat, they'll charge you $10.00. And on top of that, they give you a can of soda with no refills. The other meat besides the chicken wasn't even seasoned. We had to ask for soy sauce and being that they have BBQ in their name why is there no BBQ sauce offered. The waiter said they just had the raw BBQ sauce for the short rib marinade. All we had to eat on was a saucer and how they expected 2 people to share a bowl of soup, I don't know. The experience was just not worth it at all. Never again.

Yelp
We had never been to this restaurant before, but went with a group of friends on their recommendation. We had an amazing time and everything was delicious. The staff was so kind and attentive, they anticipated us needing a grill change and swooped in at the perfect moment. We will be going back!

Yelp
Came here for AYCE KBBQ on a Friday afternoon after a few years' hiatus, and it's not the Wudon I remember. There was only one waitress (who was mostly pretty kind) working for Friday lunch and as far as I could tell only one person working the kitchen. So even though there were plenty of empty tables, we were quoted a 35-40 minute wait that ended up being an hour. Because it was just the one waitress working, service was very spotty and we couldn't deal with any issues at the table. For example, my friend had a leaking broken cup of water for 40 minutes before we were able to flag the waitress down. The soups, seafood pancake, and steamed eggs didn't come out of the kitchen until near the end of our meal, when 2 out of the 4 in my party were full. The meats themselves... the pork belly was cut too thick and was kind of bland. The grill took almost an hour to get hot enough to grill well with the mat covering it (never seen this at a KBBQ place, but maybe it's to make cleanup faster). The boneless short ribs tasted better. My group liked the beef bulgogi the most, but the spicy pork was just okay. The sundubu jjigae, doenjang jjigae (waitress called it miso soup.......), and steamed eggs were all just okay and on the bland side. I remember thinking the seafood pancake was fine. Might give KBBQ here another try on a less busy day, but there are other Korean restaurants I enjoy much more.

Yelp
Somehow, Korean barbecue has become a traditional Father's Day meal for me and I am pretty happy with that! Booked an 11am reservation for Father's Day for all 7 of us and we were seated promptly. The kids ordered, cooked and paid. Can't beat that! We went with the All You Can Eat option. Our server brought our drinks, sides and all the accoutrement. Here's a rundown: - Boneless short rib - Our table favorite. So tasty and tender. Great marinade. Rating 4.2 - Chicken Bulgogi - decent marinade with the pear shining through. Cooked up with a nice caramelization which enhanced the flavor. Rating 4.0 - Fish Cake - Decent! I think I have found this exact type at the local Asian supermarket. Rating: 3.8 - seafood pancake - Not very much seafood (shrimp), but it was excellent. Dipping sauce was perfect. Rating: 4.2 - Soft Tofu Soup - decent. Rating: 3.6 Other items included chili, soybean past, kimchi, daikon radish, salt and pepper, broccoli, lettuce. All good. Service was prompt throughout. They were busy and they kept up with everything. Overall ambiance is super casual. They have very interesting design style - almost Manhwa. One thing I was keeping an eye out for was cleanliness the table we were sitting probably needs to be replaced. The wood stain seemed to absorb water and a number of attempts had been made to patch it up. This was definitely a great experience and the food fire! Overall rating -

Yelp
Wudon BBQ is one of two Korean restaurants in Chesterfield. It is located at a quiet strip mall on Olive Ave. It is difficult to discover the restaurant from outside. Though, this place has the perfect K BBQ decor with gas grills by table. Each table can host small party between 2 to 6. Our group has 8 people, so the hostess placed a small table and chairs next to the table with a grill. Even though we have a big party, one grill is sufficient. The menu includes unlimited all you can eat options or by item / platter. Our group of 8 ordered one large platter and two different types of meat. The k BBQ meal comes with white rice and many side dishes, including 1) steam egg, 2) spicy tofu soup, 3) seafood pancake, 4) fish cake, 5) broccoli and 6) kimchi. It's really plenty to eat for the party. The meat quality is all really decent. Pricing is super reasonable, at roughly $36/person. Service is wonderful. The servers came ofteh to refill water and brought over additional kimchi, fish cake and broccoli. In addition, they replaced clean grills three times during my visit. Without doubt, I would highly recommend Wudon to my friends! Note that I took off one star for not having enough sides like Asian Kitchen at U City, though this really worths the try! Service is

Yelp
It's been a while since I've been to Wudon but it remains a classic spot for kbbq (especially AYCE)! I went on a Thursday around noon and found the restaurant surprisingly busy when I arrived. There are usually one or two servers (during the weekday lunch hours), so service can be a bit slow at times, which is entirely understandable! I was surprised to find a mat on the grill but the waiter informed me they had just switched to using them a few months ago. I will admit I was a bit skeptical but it turned out to work very well! Where we normally switched our grill out 2 or 3 times, it was easy to scrap any charred residue off the mat and continue grilling (see the upper right hand corner of my picture for the charred pieces from the marinated spicy pork). We got the AYCE lunch ($25/person) and ordered the brisket, boneless short rib, pork belly and spicy pork. Note: the boneless short rib is easily the star of the AYCE (although brisket is a close second), and it is a 1x order only so make sure you're not too full! We enjoyed the sides and the soft tofu soup, seafood pancake and steamed egg as well. Remember to ask for lettuce if you'd like to make lettuce meat wraps too :) We will definitely be back, for both the price and the quality of the meat-- it's true, Wudon can't be beat!

Yelp
Service was fast and friendly! The food was good. My favorite was the marinated pork! Least favorite was the chicken. The spicy soup was also good with a little added salt and pepper. Our white rice was a little dry. The ambiance was not the best could be cleaner and brighter the place is just a little outdated. There wasn't a big selection for sides which was disappointing but yea it was okay a little pricey for the food given. 6/10

Yelp
My wife and I were looking for something different. So opened my Yelp app and started to look at restaurants. We saw the Wudon Korean BBQ and we decided to give it a try. We order the Bulgogi Dolsot and the Jeyuk Delsot. They were both good but I preferred the Bulgogi Delsot. I felt that it had more flavor. Both were served with steamed rice and both were a lot of food. After we were finished, we had enough for another meal for both of us. I also ordered a Terra beer and it was good too. The total cost was $54.90, not bad with today's prices. We also received kimchi, bean dip and broccoli as an appetizer. It all was good. The location is in an older strip center and the interior of the restaurant could use some updating. I would have preferred the beer colder and to wipe down the tables better. They were sticky. I would go back here again.

Yelp
Underwhelmed and overwhelmed at the same time. Underwhelmed because the place is a little rundown, smells bad, the ceilings are filthy. Warm water served in cheap plastic cups. Canned soda instead of fountain. I was overwhelmed by the menu options. It's not clearly labeled how many the dishes serve. We had to ask the waiter to explain. Would have been nice to get more guidance without having to ask. I don't eat steak so I got the chicken. Next I'd probably have the kitchen cook it instead of on the table. Food tasted good. Overall not worth the hype this place has.

Yelp
Very busy on a Friday night. Good thing there is a Korean grocery store nearby and we killed some time there. Everything smelled and tasted good. Definitely ate too much LOL

Yelp
Meat Lovers - This pick is for you! Wudon is one of the best Korean BBQ spots in STL! Pick from the big selection of delicious meats to grill or, if you brought your A Game, try the all you can eat option! Expect a wait that will take as long as they tell you.. but trust me, it's worth it! MY FAVS: Beef Brisket, Soft Tofu Soup, Japche
google avatar

Güneş Ö.

Yelp
They have AYCE (All You Can Eat) for $27 (min. 2 diners). Best deal in town! And they don't have crazy rules like other AYCE Korean BBQ places. Choice of meat (beef, pork, chicken options) and side dishes (kimchi, soup, rice, shrimp bread, fish cakes etc.) keep coming to table. Everything was delicious! My faves are beef bulgogi and Korean beef brisket, kimchi and shrimp bread. Place was packed. If you have a group, I recommend making a reservation. All the tables have bbq grills and place gets hot and smokey quickly. Smelling like bbq after dinner is guaranteed. :) I have been here quite a few times, new thing is they now have Teflon pads for the grills, so I think it is easy for them to clean. In my opinion, putting uncooked meat directly on those pads and cooking like this is not safe. Those pads known to be carcinogenic. I tasted weird bitterness on some meat after cooking. I am not sure if that is because of those pads. I'd rather cook my meat directly on grills. Just because of this, the place became occasional for me.

Yelp
This place was awesome. There was some weird drama with one of the servers, she seemed kinda rude and was airing things out that aren't appropriate in front of guests. I know what it's like in the industry and I have been frustrated too, so I won't go hard on her or the place overall. Our server was pleasant and attentive. The food was fresh and great. The experience of grilling your own meats rocked and the sides brought out were exceptional. It got me hooked on Korean BBQ and I'm now doing my own. The pickled daikon was a game changer for me. I've started making that as well. The way it cuts through the savory and gentle spice of the marinade is fantastic. Do the all you can eat. Do the bulgogi and short rib. Start there.. maybe get another plate of meats, but don't go overboard. This stuff is filling! Get the lettuce to wrap your delicious bbq bundle. You'll get your money's worth. TLDR: YUM!

Jordan B.

Yelp
Food was phenomenal and well seasoned. The all you can eat was so much food!! It was worth the price forsure. They had miso soup, seafood pancakes, etc

Yelp
I have eaten a KBBQ AYCE in such a long time so I was excited to come to try this place out. I tried the only other KBBQ AYCE Seoul Garden before so I was interested to understand how this one compares. We came on Easter so I was a bit worried that they wouldn't be open but surprisingly they were. Was able to find a table for 4 very easily for late afternoon. Here are some of my favorite things about the meal: - I really appreciate the cooking top that we were using. I feel like at a lot of KBBQ places, the top gets dirty very quickly and sometimes you have to wait awhile before someone comes over and changes it for you. Here, you can control the heat and it doesn't get ashy which is nice. - I actually really liked the Bulgogi Beef which had a good marinate on it that was a little sweet. Also, the beef was very tender and went well with the lettuce they gave us. I do wish that they had daikon wraps as well as other sauces that weren't just soy sauce, sesame sauce, and other more basic ones. I do appreciate the salt they gave us which went well with all the meats. - I appreciate that the seafood pancake and steamed egg was part of the AYCE option. I do have the say that although there wasn't a lot of seafood in the seafood pancake, this is definitely the best seafood pancake I have had in St. Louis by far - even when compared to other Korean restaurants. They even got the sauce correct which was quite impressive. - Although there wasn't a lot of meat options by first glance, I will say that the amount they gave you on every plate will allow you to try all of them which are all quite good. For 4 people, we were barely able to finish all 7 different meat options / plates of food. Overall, great KBBQ AYCE place and would come again. Also the price (without tax and tip) is less than $30 for lunch per person which I feel like you can't really find anymore.

Yelp
My family and I stood and waited to be seated for 15 mins, mind you it's a small restaurant. Just for them to walk by us multiple times and then say they were closing at 9 and they're over booked. When their website says 10pm. And there were tables available.
google avatar

Whitney H.

Yelp
I would recommend this restaurant especially if you're really hungry. We did the all you can eat. The food was so good. I really liked the Korean pancakes and the tofu soup the beef Bulgogi was my favorite meat that we ordered. It was very reasonably priced. The only downfall was that we had to put a mat over the grill so it took a while to get the meat crispy. Parking was easy as there was a big parking lot. The service was really good. The dining was very casual so you could go at any time.

Yelp
My Korean BBQ experience is limited so I was unsure what to expect from a small, local spot. My husband and I visited Wudon to celebrate our 35th anniversary on Feb 4th. When we arrived we were directed to a table and told to scan the QR code for the menu. The tables looked to be covered with contact paper and there were staples around the edge. This is not a refined place but as long as you know that it is okay. I wish I had understood that before choosing Wudon for our anniversary date. We decided to do the all-you-can-eat option. A server brought us plastic cups of water that was room temp with no ice. The utensils we were given were dirty and we had to ask for new ones. First, we ordered the spicy pork and beef bulgogi. The food was delicious and well-seasoned. The next order was the beef short ribs and spicy chicken. The menu indicated that we were supposed to get steamed egg, seafood pancake and soup, well into our second order of meat and we had not received those items. When we had the chance to speak to our server, she told us "Those come out whenever the chef gets them ready." I did notice that others, who were seated after us already had theirs. Overall, the service was abysmal. We had to wave and actually get up and go get our server. Dishes were never cleared, we asked for ice for the water and it did not come until we had given up on this meal. The grill has a sheet on it and the carbon build up on it had to be scraped off--by us periodically while we cooked our food. When we were ready for our check our sides finally arrived. They were all amazing and I really wish they had come out when we were still hungry. The menu indicates that you get one pancake, one steamed egg, and one bowl of soup for every 3 people in your group. The soup was a small bowl that traditionally holds one serving. While I do not mind sharing soup with my family, this would be weird with acquaintances or colleagues. They bring spoons, but no additional bowls to divide the soup. In a post-covid world, that gave me an icky vibe. Of those 3 items, I would only feel comfortable sharing the pancake (which could be cut and divided) with people outside my family.

Shanelle A.

Yelp
The food was amazing I loved the service and our food arrived extremely fast My only issue was the floor, it was so slippery My partner had the LA Galbi which was good, but I had the Spicy Chicken Bulgogi which was better in my opinion. We had the kitchen prepare our food which is so much more convenient and it tastes better I forgot to take a pic of the food sorry!! Overall I recommend! Thank you Wudon

Yelp
We have been to other Korean bbq in the area and they beat them out. The flavor and cuts of meat are perfect. I think there could be more options for side dishes but other than that it was perfect. Service was 10/10!

Yelp
Wudo. Korean BBQ is a fun dining experience to take your kids to. If you get all you can eat for everyone, it can be expensive. However, we buy the ultimate combo which includes prime rib eye steak, beef rib, pork belly, beef bulgogi, and spicy pork. It comes with three soups, eggs, seafood pancake, rice, and sides (including kimchi). We have fed 8 people with this, including three teenage boys. You grill the meat at your table. They have not had reservations available when we went but we were seated fairly quickly. I highly recommend this restaurant. We did have a vegetarian with us and they didn't have tofu as a protein option so there wasn't a lot to eat. She had the egg and rice. Our gluten free friend was able to eat though.

Yelp
Saturday night date night at 5:30pm came with a 45 minute wait. Glad to see this place is busy! They take reservations but not the same day fyi. I'm not sure what happened but it seems like the service was a bit behind the night we went. Also the sides or ban chan were lacking. Maybe that's just how it is now. Portions of the short rib was small for AYCE for $32/pp especially since you can only order it once. We also asked for kimchi 2x but figured we weren't going to get any more than what is pictured so we accepted our fate. The AYCE option comes with steamed egg, tofu soup, and seafood pancake cut into 4 pieces. Still rating it well because the meat is quality and we still had a great time. We'll still return but will be more prepared about what not to expect. I'm from California and the Korean bbq restaurants there offer loads of sides, rice paper, and they are quick to refill anything you want. Nonetheless, we still had a great date night here.

Yelp
This is hands down the best Korean food in STL. I've been coming here since I was a kid, so maybe I'm a bit biased, but I've tried every Korean spot within a 25-mile radius, and this place is worth the drive. The japchae and scallion pancake are always perfectly made, the service is consistently amazing, and the spicy pork? It's the best I've ever had!

Yelp
This place was an interesting experience. I went with a group of people and it was a little confusing on how to order, but one of my friends had been there before so she showed us the ropes. We ordered one of the special combos for the whole table and it was weird because it came with one bowl of soup and one seafood pancake. It was confusing because there were 4 of us. We didn't all want the same soup and were we all supposed to share the soup or fight over who gets it? Still not sure what we were supposed to do but me and a friend shared it. Then they bring the meat out and you cook it at the table. Luckily my friend knew how it all worked because I would have been lost. It was a fun experience though! And the art and sayings on the wall were cute.

Yelp
The food is pretty good! The meat was delicious and the rice was hot. We didn't do the all you can eat, even though it would have been the same price for what we paid. We just didn't want to be tempted to overeat :P. Service was a bit slow though and the grill doesn't get as hot as desired. We asked for more side dishes multiple times, so don't be scared to ask for more!

Yelp
Dined in this Sunday, January 19th. Food was excellent and therefore they do get a star for the night, but with the region facing 10 degree temperatures, to my dismay upon entry I discovered the heat was either not on or not functioning properly. I should've left and come back another time, but wanting to enjoy our evening and follow through on a plan I made with my beloved partner, I pushed on with the meal. The cold was so staunch we only wound up finishing our soup and two of the protein options out of four or five that come with the all you can eat option. The heat from the tabletop grill was not even sufficient enough to keep us warm, and we were unable to use alternative seating in a more central area away from windows due to the high volume of reservations they had coming in that night. I truly hope calls were made to the groups that booked in advance to explain they would essentially be paying fine dining prices to eat in the cold.

Yelp
The food was very delicious, however, the plastic grill cover was a bad idea. It was very odd that a Korean BBQ place would not let you cook directly on the metal grill. The plastic cover made the food taste soggy and undercooked. It also started melting to the actual metal grill... Giving 3 stars because the food tastes very good and we would return if not for the plastic cover...

Yelp
My four friends and I split the Ultimate Combo and the next time I went I split it with 5 other people. It was plenty of food and some of us are big eaters-we still had leftovers. You get the meat, 2 seafood pancakes, 2 steamed eggs, and two soups, and also get refillable rice, kimchi, fish cakes, and a couple other items I can't recall. The beef bulgogi is probably my favorite meat and the seafood pancake is so yummy with the sauce. The service both times was wonderful!! And the decor is cute. I feel like Choji from Naruto eating with my team whenever I go. RIP Asuma.

Yelp
Came here for AYCE KBBQ and it was a great experience. It's only $24.99 and with inflation going on and what not, that is a very good deal in my opinion. I think they are understaffed as I eavesdropped that they had only one chef in the kitchen during lunch time. Therefore, if you need something cooked it might take awhile but since we got AYCE, wait wasn't an issue. We pretty much tried every cut of meat that they had except for two (one which you had to pay more for which we didn't opt for). My favorite was the short rib (which you can only get one serving of) and the spicy pork. Least favorite would have to be the brisket. It doesn't have any flavor on its own. You also get some banchan (side dishes) although not as much variety as other places. You do however get a seafood pancake and a bowl of soup. I thoroughly enjoyed the pancake and the miso soup was decent. Definitely packs more punch than your standard miso. Service was nice. I just hope they get more staff in the future.

Yelp
Our first time here, they were short on servers but she was extraordinary! We had lunch for two, we didn't got with the AYCE with fear of wasting food so we went with a lunch option. We chose steak, brisket and chicken, all were seasoned extremely well, and tasted as good. The side dishes from the rice to the miso soup which btw was the best I've ever had. The place is a little outdated they majorly need some updates but all and all not a bad location.

Yelp
There was about an hour wait. We gladly waited about 1hr 15min. Once we got seated it took another 15-20min to get our order in. We ordered the Beef and Pork combo Large and was pretty surprised by how stingy the sauce, banchans and rice bowls were. There was only one pc of broccoli and fish cake. The rice bowl was only filled halfway. For a $96 tab I expected a little more than that. Also we were told as soon as we walked in that they weren't serving AYCE anymore. It also took so long to cook the meat. The grill wasn't getting hot enough and the pork took forever to cook. Even then we couldn't eat it. Please stay away from the pork belly it smelled so bad we left it at the table. Also it just didn't feel clean. My feet/shoes felt slippery on the floor and I noticed it was oil on the ground underneath our table. The table was wiped but left this weird sticky residue even on the menu. The only good things I have to say about this place is good selection on beef. Decent soup and pancake. And the waiters were kind. Highly disappointed in this place as it's our first time and most likely the last time. They really need to be not so stingy and clean up the place.

Yelp
A bit pricey, but they offered an ok array of Bon Chon (4 types) with their AYCE (All-you-can-eat) option. Though, only 2 meats a time before getting more or you're penalized. I will say their operation is just slightly complicated. But when you unlock the combination, it was tasty. It also comes with a one time offer of seafood pancake, steamed egg and a soup (one time, no refill) with the AYCE option. The service was nice enough, though sometimes they're not quite attentive for refills, and were more interested with chatting with each other than with you finishing off the glutton of a meal and wanting more meat... It was clean and kinda fake hipster, but clean nonetheless :)

Yelp
We had a fantastic time with the all you can eat! We had bulgogi, brisket, spicy pork and short ribs. Everything was delicious and it was a delightful experience

Yelp
Came here several times for kbbq. Overall it wasn't exactly fantastic. One time our table's stove top just stopped working. It stopped heating up so we couldn't cook our orders. The heaters also get crowded super fast and it takes a long time to cook in general since the power seems low, so if you're in a party of four or more it'll take forever to cook your stuff. That's an issue because you're on a time limit for all you can eat. Additionally, it takes forever to bring orders out, so even when your stove works, you're stuck sitting there waiting a long time for your next tray of food to come, and then you're out of time. Also going along with what other reviews have mentioned, there have been times when they're nearly empty but we were still told to wait an hour. Be careful about coming within 2 hours of closing because you might get turned away. In terms of food, the quality is fine but the portions are not large. Definitely not worth the AYCE cost for the quality and quantity you're getting. If you're in a small party of 3 or less or not doing AYCE, you may have a better experience.

Yelp
The meat was okay, very limited sides, and no salad. There is only one electric grill per table and we had 7 people. The meats came out pretty quickly however the place is not set up for efficient service. Good thing we did not get the all you can eat since there was a time limit and only one grill that can cook the food. The service was poor but waiter tried his best with the place being busy. There were at least 4 people working the front, but it seems like only one was running around. It felt like we had to constantly try to get someone's attention. At the end, I finally had to take my credit card to the desk since I couldn't wait anymore for someone to come pick it up. The food was okay but overall experience would not get me to come back.

Yelp
I came here at 8:25 PM because I saw online that they close at 10 PM. However, I was made to wait for 5 minutes while the staff kept walking by. Eventually, they informed me that the kitchen was closed. I am wondering why they close earlier 1 hour and 30 minutes. This was quite upsetting, as I felt ignored and unimportant. This is not the level of service I expected.

Yelp
The food quality was a-1 as far as the meats Very good The pancake was the best one i had here in stlouis. I am an experienced kbbq eater and the server was treating me as if it was my first time not bringing out any lettuce , jalapeños , garlic and what not. The portions wasn't as much as i thought honestly should of gotten the large

Yelp
This place was one of the best meals I've had in a long time. It was a pleasant surprise. I would definitely go back. I didn't cook my food but want to have that experience. The waitress was very kind and patient and explained things to me. The spicy pork and rice was sooo good. I love the extras that you can mix with it. I especially enjoyed the salt and pepper in the sesame oil. The place is far in the corner of a strip mall. It's like a hidden gem.

Yelp
Restaurant supposedly closed at 10pm on Saturday. We drove 30 minutes just to eat there and arrived at 9pm. They turned us away and said, "Sorry the kitchen is closed." And turned us away! We had my elderly parents and 10 month old baby with us...

Yelp
We typically go to the other place but I convinced my friends to come here for KBBQ to try to find something new/better. KBBQ is always our go to so this isn't our first time trying it. We did the AYCE and we were greatly disappointed. Gnats all over the place, the tables and floor were sticky. The interior is very rough. The food was subpar and took forever to cook because the stove wasn't hot enough (even at the highest level setting). Would not recommend.
