A very divisive experience at Wumok. As positive points go, the food itself was great. The fusion of Asian and European flavors was well done and the quality of the products was excellent. We did not take the wine pairing, so can’t judge on that. However, as great as the food was, the service itself leaves much to be desired. As Europeans, in a fine dining setting, food is to be enjoyed and cherished over a certain period of time, the food itself is only part of the experience, to truly enjoy the food, you need time and that was the one thing lacking here. Rushing through 9 courses over less than 1,5 hours takes away all the charm and enjoyment of the experience, regardless of the quality of the food. If you enter at 7.30, you’re out by 9. In all honesty, this is not a place we’d be coming back to because of this reason.
